"Yo Liz, you coming to the party tonight?" Mario asked his best friend. "Why are you even having a party." Liz laughed pausing her typing. "This is my last party night here, so par-tay." Liz scoffed and pushed her laptop away to eye him. "Come on, just for tonight." Sighing she shrugged at her now beaming best friend. "Yes! Dress like you care." Mario kissed her cheek before dashing out before she could comprehend what he said. It wasn't a moment later before Liz's brother, Jamal, came in her room. "Mario said you need my expertise." Groaning she fell back on her bed. She was going kill them.

Liz was leaning on the wall in a corner, with a red cup in hand watching the party and nodding to the music blasting. "You look bored." She gave a small smile before shifting her eyes to the younger male before her. "Still not a party person. Doing recon?" He grinned. "Busted." She giggled before pushing off the wall. "I'll give you the easy stuff." Heading to the kitchen, knowing he was following her, she dug her hand into the big bucket with all the beer. Passing him drinks, she mussed his hair before going back to her wall. However, she was intercepted by Mario and Angie. They were beaming. "What did you do?"
"So, we invited this guy." Mario started. "And before you freak out, he's really sweet." Sighing Liz shook her head knowing how stubborn they were going to be. "He better be really sweet." Angie squealed before leading the way outside. The three stopped not far from the door in front of a guy in a green shirt. "Paul this is Lizzy. Have fun." Mario patted his back before `Angie pulled him to the dance floor. "Uh, hi." "Hi." "Awkwardness at its finest." The two laughed. "So, I hear, your name is Paul. What are you in to?" He laughed.
"You heard correct. I volunteer at the station down here. What about you?" I smiled. "You volunteer? I volunteer at the shelter. Um, other than that I work at my parents shop and I'm taking some courses." It was Paul's turn to grin. "Really? What courses?" He looked interested. "I'm taking-" "Well, well, well, who's your friend Liz?" An arm was thrown over her shoulder as three guys, three Santos guys, surrounded them. "Yeah, who are you?" Carlos, on of the three asked. "Back off, Carlos." Liz shrugged off his arm.
"Uh-" Paul eyed them. "I'm sorry about this." Liz said to Paul. Carlos stepped closer to Paul. "You got a problem?" Liz stepped between the two males. "We were just talking, that's all." Liz crossed her arms. "You don't need to talk to guys like him, Liz." "Guys like me? What's your problem man?" Paul stepped around her. "She's off-limits, homes. Go home."
"Carlos stop it. Don't mind them, let's go somewhere else." Liz reasoned. "For what, they can go." Liz pinched the bridge of her nose shaking her head. The Santos guys laughed before Carlos pulled out a gun. "Say that again, I couldn't hear you." Shaking her head, Liz walked away from them and headed where she knew her brother and his friends would be. Before she knew it, shots had been fired.
