Prince Adrian, the son of Prince Phillip and Aurora (a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty) walked into Ben's room at Beast Castle, because they needed to talk about the coronation where they are crowned as King and advisor of Auradon. Ben had chosen Ian as his Advisor because he was the one person (that wasn't his parents, sister, or girlfriend) that Ben felt he could talk to and ask about anything.
Ben had several files scattered all over his desk and bed, making Ian chuckle at how his usually neat best friend had such a mess around him. When he saw the Isle of the Lost symbol on all the files, he couldn't help but become so curious about the matter.
"What's happening here?" Ian said, walking further into the room after knocking. "Why the sudden interest in everything related to the Isle?"
Ian always knew Ben was very curious about the Isle, seeing him staring out his bedroom window constantly, but never knew just how far the curiosity went.
"I know what I want to do for my proclamation." Ben said, still looking at the files. Ian sat down across from him and looked at one of the files, looking a little shocked at the fact that it was one of a child.
"Let me guess," Ian said, closing the file. "It has something to do with the kids there."
"I want to bring some kids from there to Auradon." Ben said, making Ian drop another file that he had just picked up.
"Are you sure about this, Ben?" Ian asked. "I mean, I'm not saying that I'm against the idea, but think about the reaction you'd get from the people.
"I know that, Ian," Ben said, leaning back in his chair. "But this is what I want to do. All those kids on that island didn't do anything wrong to deserve the fate of having to live there."
"Yeah, man. You're right." Ian said, thinking about Ben's plan. "Hope you have a good time trying to tell that to your parents."
"I hope you have a good idea trying to tell this to your parents." Ben said, raising an eyebrow.
"Why do I have to tell them?" Ian asked with wide eyes.
"Would you rather have them find out by watching TV or something like that?"
"Not like they haven't done anything like that before." Ian remarked.
"We finally have a chance to bring the people of Auradon and the Isle back together, Ian. Little by little, we can bring a small group of kids here to help reform them."
"Who are you planning on bringing over anyway?"
"That's what I'm trying to decide on." Ben said, picking up yet another file. "None of the ones I've seen so far seem to be like they need our help as much as others."
Ian picked up a file, opening it to see a girl with medium-length purple hair. "Well, this girl is one that my parents would go absolutely ballistic over, but she'd probably be the one that requires the most help."
He showed the picture of the girl to Ben, who read that she was the daughter of none other than the biggest enemy of his own parents, Maleficent.
"I'd probably go with these two." Ben said, showing Ian the files of another girl with dark blue hair and a boy about their age with longer brown hair.
"Daughter of Evil Queen and son of Jafar. That's an interesting duo." Ian opened another file to see a boy with black and white hair that looked slightly younger than the other three. The son of Cruella De Vil. "It actually says all four of them are a little friend group."
"That's a good thing." Ben said, looking up. "They'll still have some familiarity with all of them being here together."
Ian stood up, accidentally knocking some of the files off of the desk and sending them onto the floor. He noticed one of the files actually opened on impact, and kneeled down to pick it up. He saw a photo of a girl with half-black and half-blue hair looking out in the distance as her hair appear to fly behind her.
"Daughter of Hades?" Ian said, picking up the file.
"Hades?" Ben said, taking the file. He looked at the photo, and felt like he had somehow seen the girl in the photo before, but he couldn't pinpoint where. "I didn't know he had a child."
"We didn't know if any of the villains had a child." Ian rebuttled. "I bet she would cause the most controversy, considering what Hades did, you know?"
"But she hasn't done anything to us, has she?" Ben asked with a small smile. He had to admit, he found the girl to be kind of good-looking, but he wouldn't mention that to Ian, because his girlfriend was Ian's younger sister.
"I don't know how this is gonna work, man, but I sure hope it does." Ian said, clapping a hand on Ben's back. He leaves the room in order to go make the dreaded talk with his family about bringing not only the children of villains, but the daughter of their worst possible enemy, into Auradon.
