Black Roses Red
Chapter 2
Lucas angrily tossed his suitcases inside the entryway to the former home he used to live in with Peyton and Sawyer.
He had a long lengthy flight out of where he had currently been living. Him leaving had been last minute but he couldn't stand being there for another second.
It was all too much. The strongest tie between them broken. He wasn't able to stand the sight of her. The love tainted along with the countless memories. In the span of one night he had lost his marriage. His daughter. And was minutes away from an emotional breakdown.

Awhile Later
The Baker Home
Brooke checked in on her boys. She smiled warmly at the sight of them fast asleep.
Julian had changed in alot of ways. The most recent accident involving their sons was triggering for the couple.
It brought them both back in time to when Julian accidently left Davis in the car when the babies were a few months to drop him off at daycare. Being new parents and lacking sleep. Brooke eventually came back around to forgiving her he hadn't been harmed but he could of been. That was a fear recently doubling in size.
Since both boys were involved. It didn't involve himself or Brooke. Yet Julian was taking it out on himself and her. She loved her husband and was determined to help him through this difficult period.
But she was also dealing with the aftermath of the accident. The boys had both got injured. And recently got their casts removed. Were able to move. Play. Return to school.
She admitted to no one the reality of the fragile state her and Julian found themselves regarding their marriage.
"People in the Davis family. Stay together. You're father and I's relationship is far from perfect. Yet here I am all these years later. Don't be foolish Brooke. Or naive."
"Marriage is for life. Especially since you have those boys. Julian is their father. That has to matter more then you're own happiness." Victoria instructed.
Days after the first accident involving her grandsons. That took place when they were just babies.
Brooke then deleted Lucas's cellphone number.
"Why didn't you warm up my plate.? You ordered dinner. And my food is cold. I've been working for hours. You do nothing but online shop and live in luxery because of the life i've given you."
"Some appreciation for what 've given you. Would be nice. Continue to stand there and stare at me or warm up my food!" He yelled.
Brooke swallowed hard. "I'll get right to that. Haley and Nathan invited us to date night with them. Just couples. In a few days. We haven't gone out and had fun in so long."
"I think it would really help us reconnect. What do you think.?" Brooke asked.
"Whatever." Julian replied. Turning from her as he went back into their bedroom.
Brooke found herself looking forward to the next few days flying by.
