This city was twice the size it used to be. At least the man that hired him had the sense to let him get used to the place before sending him on his mission. So much had changed since the last time I was here that nothing was familiar. Though little was each time I woke up.

Running across the rooftops gave me a greater advantage point to take in my surroundings better. To hear what was going on below better. It was while I was doing this that I heard a large bang. I crouched down and went to the edge of the roof I was on to look down. Something sickly sweet hit my nose and an animal like growl reached my ears.

Looking down there was a few pale men that the sound seemed to come from. What the fuck were they? Couldn't be human but perhaps they could be the fight I was searching for to test my arm.

A gasp caught his attention and he looked over to the man that was standing slightly away from the others. Changing my position slightly I spotted a young woman in his grasp. He held her by the throat.

I didn't kill women unless it was the mission so I considered leaving the scene. I couldn't risk being spotted by a civilian, it wasn't time to make my presence known but something stopped me. I focused on the woman, taking in her short but lean figure. She looked like a fighter. Her hair that most would assume was brown had quite a bit of red in it but her eyes…. Definitely a fighter. Her eyes were like caramel but the glare she had on her face pointed towards her attacker made him smirk. If looks could kill, the bastard would be dead. It was that… Her eyes that made the decision for him. A girl like that didn't deserve to die like this. His mind made up, he jumped down landing silently behind the two at the back.

I flexed my metal arm before quickly reaching out and grabbing one of them by the head, I was slightly surprised when his head came off with a screeching sound and there was no blood. No time to think on that however as the other launched themselves at me but I caught them by the throat and once again ripped their head off tossing it on the ground next to the other.

"Who the fuck are you?!" You the last one shouted after he dropped the girl and turned to face me.

The anger in his eyes only fueling me to kill. My eyes quickly darted to the girl now that I was closer. She was a gorgeous dame. Button nose, thick wavy hair down to her lower back, heart shaped face. Suddenly knowing this bastard hurt her pissed me off. Seeing the red around her neck only making it worse. Let's see how he likes being choked. The man tried to attack and I admit he was fast but I was faster. Dodging was easy. When he kicked I grabbed him and threw him into the wall than I got my hands around his throat and squeezed. My eyes bore into his own, I wanted him to see his death in my eyes as my hand tightened more and more until his head rolled from his shoulders to the ground.

Bastard.

The girl's gasp gathered my attention again, I turned to her. Her eyes looked directly into mine, a feeling I wasn't used to hitting me hard. A dangerous feeling…

"Thank you." She said softly only causing the sensation to intensify.

My head began to pound. The ache like lightening to my skull. What was this? I glanced at the girl to see her softly reach out like she wanted to touch me.

"You're not safe near me, nobody is." I said through clenched teeth but I didn't understand why I told her that.

"You just saved me. I feel safe with you." She whispered.

Damn this girl, why did she have to be so beautiful. She looked like a damn angel but the fire in her eyes earlier told me she was more than that.

Suddenly the pain left and the fact that I had a mission coming up was all I could focus on. I had been here too long.

I needed to leave.

I began to run from the alley.

"Wait!" A feminine shout called. I spun and saw a beautiful woman. Wait… She was familiar..

From where? Why was the calling me?

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Bella." She said her eyes focused solely on me.

"Bella.." I would remember… I had to remember..

A quick pain in my skull reminding me of my mission, I needed to head back for orders.

So I did. I rushed back. It was time to kill again.

A blurry feminine figure with brownish red hair slowly fading away til it was gone. The only memory left was a name. Bella.
