Santana's POV
Halfway through the flight, Brittany had fallen asleep on my shoulder. One of my worst fears is falling asleep on a flight and then waking up to the plane going down in turbulence, so I decided it was in my best interest to keep my eyes open. I spent most of the flight looking to my right at the incredible view from the plane window. Though I hated flying, the plane did have a great view of the world below. I loved the view from the window, but the view to my left was even better. The face Brittany made in her sleep was enough to melt Antarctica. Her bottom lip poked out and her eyelashes line her eye lids like silky drapes. I could tell she was having a good dream (probably about cats flying) by the way she was kind of smiling. I'd do anything to see her smile.
As I was thinking of how much I love her, a thought came across my head causing a frown to take place of my smile. I couldn't help but be scared about what her reaction would be like when I told her about the things I had done in the time we spent apart. I'm not scared of Brittany as she is one the sweetest most precious thing on this planet, but I am scared of taking that beautiful smile from her face. I never want to be the cause of her sadness.
On the other hand, I wasn't too thrilled to hear about her time with Sam. I know her and that big lipped white chocolate bar had slept together and am hoping that was the worst of it. Suddenly the pilot made an announcement on the over head speaker causing me to break my train of thought. "Alright folks, we are about to descend into the lovely state of Hawaii, so I am going to ask you all to buckle your seat belts, close your trays, and lift your seats. Thank you."
After making his announcement, Brittany began to stir and I knew she was waking up.
Brittany POV
The pilot's loud voice woke me from my awesome dream. Lord Tubbington and Lady Tubbington were dressed as superheroes and were flying through the air looking for evil birds. I knew Santana knew I was awake because she kissed me on my forehead before placing her hand on my leg. I kept my eyes closed but nuzzled further into her neck.
"Good morning sleepy head," she coed.
I forced my eyes open and saw her beautiful gleaming smile directed at me.
"Good morning," I smiled back. That's one thing I love about Santana. Her smile is so beautifully contagious that I can't help but smile every time I see it. "Are we there yet?"
"Almost. Look." She pointed out the small window towards a bright blue ocean. I bounced out of my seat and leaned over to see what she was pointing at. There was a collection of islands a ways away so I knew we were close.
"I'm so excited." I pecked Santana's cheek as I plopped back into my seat with a sigh of happiness.
END OF POV
The plan landed safely onto the runway of Hawaii. Santana and Brittany were both beaming ear to ear as they look out the tiny window at the beautiful sky and flowing trees. Shortly after landing, the two of them got off the plane just as they had boarded: hand in hand.
