It was another day at ivy university, and dr. Ryan Choi has been depressed over the last few weeks, knowing there was someone for every hero, green arrow has black canary, Superman has Lois lane, Wonder Woman has Steve trever, Aquaman and his wife mera, and Batman has cat women.
Ryan: (he messes with some test tubes) and who do I have, :( (he bends his head down in sadness) no one, even ray Palmer has a wife to go home too
He walks sadly in a different direction
Ryan: all I have is... nothing
Just then aquaman came in excitedly
Aquaman: (bangs throughout the door) ATOM OLD CHUM, you missed an outrageous party the other night
Still depressed he didn't noticed him talking
Ryan: oh, yeah (still messes with a test tube) I wasn't in a mood stay longer, also (he grabs a stack of papers and adjusts them) I have class today
Aquaman: oh, well how about after your work, you and I go on patrol (he nudges Ryan's shoulder) uh huh, uh huh
He turns down the offer
Ryan: sorry, Aquaman but (he walks to a different set of test tubes) I'm just not in the mood
Aquaman: aw come on old chum, (he bugs him again) beating up criminal scums always puts me in a better mood
Ryan then has it with him, he snaps
Ryan: Aquaman I said no!
Aquaman backs away as Ryan turns to face him angrily
Ryan: (sigh) look (he rubs his eyes) I just need a break from this, (he turns back) a break from fighting crime for a while.
Aquaman (disappointed): oh ok
He walks out the door sadly, as he waited for him to leave, Ryan went back to the rest of test tube sets, as he was doing some work hoping to get his mind off the loneliness, when he heard the dirt slam open.
Ryan: ahhh
It startled him, he ends up dropping the test tube on the floor, he thought it was Aquaman
Ryan (angrily): I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU- (gasp)
But when he turned, it wasn't Aquaman, who he was the most beautiful woman he ever laid eyes on, from her feet to her head, she was stunning, she had brown boots, a golden like colored 50s dress, red hair, a golden bracelet with a Red Cross in the middle with matching earrings and her skin was flawless. He was bewitched by her beauty, all he could do was glaze at her with his mouth open as she walked in carrying books and a handbag.
SHIERA: oh, I'm terrible sorry I didn't mean to disturb, I was looking for the main office
He snapped out of it and began to shudder
Ryan: oh no I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else (giggles)
SHIERA: (chuckles)
Ryan: you must be new here
SHIERA: yes I'm the new historian teacher, my name is SHIERA SANDERS (she bushes her hair off) but you can call be shiera
She hands her hand out to him, he shakes it.
Ryan: dr. Ryan nuclear physics professor of Choi
He got embarrassed when he said that out loud
Ryan (shocked): I MEAN dr. Physics Choi professor of nuclear Ryan (grunts) Ah, I mean
He struggles to talk to her
Shiera: (chuckles) well it is nice too meet you, dr. Choi
Ryan: (chuckles)
They both stared in each other's eyes, but then remember he was still holding her hand, they both let go, and looked around the room then back at each other, bashfully.
Shiera: uh do you think you could show me when the main office is I need to get to my class
Ryan: sure (still lost in her eyes) go upstairs, take a left, go down the hall, three doors on the right
Shiera: oh thanks
As she walks to the door, she stops by the frame and turns to face him
Shiera: oh and it was nice meeting you, professor Ryan Choi of nuclear physics, hopefully I'll get to see you again soon.
she gives him a wink, and winks her hips as she exits out, he noticed her bracelet fall on the ground.
He goes to pick it up and puts it on where his heart is. His heart races back and forth as he kept it close.
At Gotham- Batman and Aquaman were discussing atom's problem, while dealing with a gang of delinquents.
Batman: whats wrong Aquaman
He noticed him upset as he punches two men down
Batman: usually fighting crime makes you excited
Aquaman: (punching a brute without trying) oh I don't know it's the atom, something's be bothering him, he turns down the patrol tonight and now he says he wants to take a break from crime fighting.
Batman: huh (he kicks three men out) maybe he just needs some time to himself, even heroes need a break once in a while
Aquaman: true, true, (he swings a big guy around and throws him into a four more) I'll go visit him tomorrow after patrol
Batman: (as he finishes off the last delinquent, he touches his shoulder) Aquaman I think want to be alone
This still doesn't stop him
Back at ivy university, after class, when the bell rings for lunch, Ryan Stares down puppy eye love at the bracelet, the new girl dropped, he couldn't help but smile, he never been happy in a while, he never felt this way about anyone, he smiled, he was going to bring it back to her.
He heads out the classroom and goes to search for her, when two mean teachers, tripped him and he fell face flat.
Ryan: ahh
Teacher: (laughs at him)
He gets up grins in pain, but it doesn't stop him, he spots her and follows her without alerting her, he follows her through the hallway. Without her spotting him, he waits until she was in a quiet room.
As he sees her stop, he goes behind a pillar and pulls out the bracelet, when he turn, he finds her gone.
Ryan: huh?
He gets out from hiding to see where she went, he scratched his chin to figure out where she gone, when up behind him, she was there standing behind him, she giggled softly and copied him.
Shiera (whispers): who are we looking for
Ryan: Ah
He was startled by her, he fell backwards on the ground, and hit his head
Ryan: ow (he rubs the back of his head)
Shiera: (giggles) are you ok
Ryan: yeah I'm fine
He offer him her hand and helps him up
Shiera: I didn't mean to scare you, but why were you following me (she puts both hands on her hips)
Ryan: sorry I dd-idn't mean to stalk you, but it's just that (he stumbles on his words as he pulls out the bracelet) I wanted to return this back to you
Shiera: (gasp) (she covers her mouth) I been looking everywhere for it (she takes it softly and slowly) where did you find it
Ryan: you dropped it in my classroom after you left and it's got me thinking of you, so I had to return it to you (he smiles)
She smiles back
Ryan: here allow me
He takes the bracelet with his right hand and puts it slightly back on her hand, and puts his left hand on the top of hers.
Ryan: it is such a gorgeous treasure (he was preferring to her)
Shiera: yes(she takes her hand back slowly as he lets go) it was a gift from my grandmother
Ryan: she must've been lucky to have a lovely girl like you in her life
She became bashfully
Shiera: thank you for keeping it safe for me
She goes to his cheeks as pecks him softly, leaving a kiss mark, he touches it as she lets go
Ryan: (soft chuckles) uh, uh your welcome (he rubs the back of his neck)
Just then the bell rang which meant lunch was over
Shiera (disappointed): aw I got to go I got class (she walks away) thanks again Ryan choi, see you later
He watches her, walk away as he headed back to his classroom, he closes the door behind him and slides down.
Ryan: (sigh) she's perfect
His heart being to beat fast, on just the thought of her, she was his world, he may have found his soulmate.
Will he will her, or will someone else get in the way
