"Okay...so night photography...sounds like fun." Mahiru said as she got into the NEO-ONE with Dusk. "And off we go." she said as the NEO-ONE teleported.

"Establishing visuals...now." Mirror said as they soon saw the NEO-ONE traversing the park at night as they saw a herd of Bouffalant to the right, fast asleep.

"Wow...guess Pokémon do act differently at night." Hope said.

As they looked at the herd, they saw something running in between them. It was a small Scorbunny as it ran about, leaving flaming footprints behind.

"A Scorbunny dashing around? I hope it doesn't start causing trouble that might wake them up." Dusk said.

"It should be fine. Scorbunny is energetic but it's no trouble maker." Mahiru said, snapping a few pics of it along with the Bouffalant. As they moved further, they saw a few Murkrow flying about along with some Caterpie crawling along the ground.

"Hmm...so far nothing out of the...hold the phone! What is that?" Mahiru said looking up to the sky to see a Swanna flying across the sky. Except the Swanna was glowing brightly.

"That Swanna…! It's… It's glowing! So it really is true!" Dusk said.

"The Illumina Phenomenon…" Mahiru said. "Gotta get a pic before it lands." Mahiru said quickly snapping a photo of it before the Swanna landed in the lake near some Ducklett as the glow subsided as it drifted off to sleep. "Looks like the professor was onto something. Pokémon here really do glow."

"Whoa…" Dusk said as they came across large turtle-like creatures with trees on their shells, sleeping in large groups.

"Wow...a whole herd of Torterra." Applejack said.

"Whoa...look!" Dusk said seeing the same Pichu and Grookey from earlier sleeping right next to one.

"Guess they feel safe near Torterra since it's so big." Mahiru said, snapping a pic of the scene.

"Yes. They look so peaceful sleeping there." Dusk said.

"Okay...we should be coming towards the flower field." Mahiru said, noticing the sign ahead pointing towards it with a Hoothoot standing on it. "Nice." she said snapping a photo before they advanced to the flower field to see several honeycomb shaped bees flying around. "Huh...a whole colony of Combee."

"Combee, huh? Any wagers that a Vespiquen might be nearby?" Dusk asked.

"It's a strong bet. They do gather nectar for Vespiquen." Mahiru said. "Whoa...look!" she said as they saw a Vespiquen flying over them. As soon as it landed in the field it started to move and dance with the Combee following in their queen's example. "Whoa...now you don't see this everyday." she said getting a few pictures of this.

"Yes, indeed. I know that Sectonia and Jude said that Vespiquen pose themselves as elegant in front of their Combee, but… I never imagined something like this." Dusk said. "I mean, she looks so graceful like this. Well, more than usual, I'd guess."

"I got some great shots of their dance, along with a few other Pokémon too." Mahiru said.

"I will admit. It feels nice being able to do this. I mean, the only times that I was out was when David played me and Sol during Buddyfight matches, before we were put in the Card Realizar. Trust me, it was pretty stuffy in there." Dusk said.

"Well you're out now. You've got more freedom to enjoy sights like these." Mahiru said.

"Yeah...thanks.' Dusk said.

"Girls...you'll be nearing the end. Once you do, return to the lab. I've made a major discovery." Mirror said through the comm.

"Oh...uh...okay." Mahiru said before turning left. "Hey, look." she said as they saw the same Scorbunny sleeping on top of Torterra's shell.

"Huh...guess they're friends." Dusk said as Mahiru snapped one final pick before they were teleported off.

"Hmm...these are some excellent pictures." Mirror said.

"So...about that discovery…" Mahiru said.

"Of course. While you were taking pictures of that Illumina Pokémon, I managed to copy its energy reading. I've detected an even larger energy signal closer to the park. Near an even larger flower field." Mirror said.

"That reading must be coming from a Pokémon." Mahiru said.

"I'd like you to head there immediately before it goes and disappears." Mirror said.

"I'm on it." Mahiru nodded as she ran back into the NEO-ONE with Perfuma as they warped off.

"Whoa...this is a big flower field." Perfuma said.

"Can you guys see everything all right?" Mahiru asked.

"Yep. All coming through loud and clear. But we aren't seeing the Illumina Pokémon. What about you?" Mirror asked.

"Hmm…" Mahiru said, lowering the NEO-ONE's shield as she and Perfuma listened. As they did, a bright glow overtook the entire flower field, perking up every single flower in the vicinity.

"Whoa...so...incredible?" Perfuma said as they turned around to see a large green dinosaur-like creature with petals around its neck looking at them. It glowed brightly with glowing lines covering its entire body.

"Whoa...what is that?" Nuna asked.

"Bzzt! Meganium, the Herb Pokémon and the evolved form of Bayleef. A Grass Type. The fragrance of Meganium's flower soothes and calms emotions. In battle, this Pokémon gives off more of its becalming scent to blunt the foe's fighting spirit." Rotomphone said.

"It's so pretty!" Nuna said.

"This glowing...it's the Illumina Pokémon! Quick, get its picture!" Mirror said.

"Right." Mahiru said as she and Perfuma followed Meganium as it walked across the fields.

"I've never seen this sort of Pokémon before. It's very large, and so connected with nature in fact." Perfuma said.

"It's only natural. None of us have even gone to the Johto region extensively, so we haven't seen Meganium or its Pre-evolved forms." Mahiru said, taking pictures of the Herb Pokémon at good angles. "Whoa…" she said before seeing a few Comfey and an Eevee walking alongside it. "It's extremely friendly." she said snapping more photos of it before it went walking deeper into the woods. "Looks like it's gone for now."

"That's fine. Just come on back for now." Mirror said as they returned to the lab. "Without a doubt. That Meganium was one of the Illumina Pokémon, just as the legends say."

"Legends?" Mahiru asked.

"It was said that the Illumina Pokémon saved Lental from a huge disaster a long time ago. At least 2000 years ago." Mirror said. "They also have distinctive patterns and an illuminating glow."

"2000 years ago, huh? To think this phenomenon really stretched that far back." Zacian said.

"Yes. But after seeing this...I'm convinced those legends are real and could open all sorts of doors for our research." Mirror said.

"So...what's next? Huh?" Mahiru asked.

"Whoa...easy. It's late. So you should probably head to bed. We can continue our discussion in the morning." Mirror said.

"Ah, right. I guess we must have lost track of time." Zacian said.

"But it was still a pretty good first day here." Simon said.

"We were able to see so many different Pokémon. And I got to photograph them." Mahiru said.

"And we hope to see more of this region with you." Ginseng said.

"Well...lets do this." Mahiru smiled.
