''Wake up, brat!'' Someone yelled in my ear as cold water hit me. Or at least I hope it is water; you never know in the Isle. The first thing I noticed was a pounding headache coming from the back of my head. Then my hands were tied above my head, the rough rope painfully tight, and as I could not reach the floor, the muscles were being stretched painfully so. Breathing was hard; the arms above my head didn't help; they probably had done more to me while I was out. ''Well, look at that she wakes,'' stranger number one said. I pried my eyes open and came face to face with a hairy, burly man. He wore a flannel fully open above his worn pants. Through the open flannel, a large scar could be seen on his stomach.
Shit, I thought; I immediately recognized the scar. My dad had told me about his deeds once, and this was one of the worst. Before us stood the Big Bad Wolf, my dad had saved red riding hood and her grandma from him. ''Look closely, old man'' he sneered at my dad. Dad had been put on the other side of the room, his hands tied behind his back. His feet stretched out in front of him, also tied. ''Be a good huntsman, and she might live through the night, you can do that right'' the wolf said to him. He looked a bit more roughed up but not too bad, for as far as I can see.
''Come on, let us play a little,'' stranger number two said, nodding to stranger number three. They were more petite but still hairy and burly. Other wolves, or even his sons, all turned to humans by fairy-godmother the villains were sent here. ''No'' Big bad snarled to them, and they backed off. Dad looked at me; he looked so guilty. Big bad strode towards me again, pulled back his fist and punched me in the stomach. I hadn't eaten since this morning. Otherwise, I had thrown up all of it by now. It hurt so much, I don't even want to know what they had already done to me. Dad didn't even struggle anymore; he just looked at me with an empty look on his face. His eyes showed some guilt, but only a little bit. The big bad wolf continued his onslaught on my body, landing punches on my stomach and face. By the time he stopped, I had to spit out the blood in my mouth. Dad still didn't react; he didn't even acknowledge us in the room.
''This is what you get for cutting me open,'' the wolf snarled at my dad, who turned his head. ''You have to look'' stranger number 2 said, ''or else we might do worse''. ''We might have been turned human, but we still have our claws,'' stranger number 3 sneered. ''Enough, you two'' Big bad yelled at them. He swiped at them with his claws, and they backed off once again. '' Let's see how you do when I cut into your sweet little girl.'' He stalked towards me once again as dad stared blankly. I wanted to cry; tears were already burning at the back of my eyes. I wanted to yell, cry or even fight back; anything was better than hanging here like a limp doll. I was able to keep quiet as the first shallow cuts were made on my legs. But as he moved to more sensitive and deeper cuts, I couldn't stay silent anymore. I started to scream. Dad wouldn't even look at me anymore. I don't know how long it went on, but by the end of it, all I could do was cry out weakly, tears streaming down my cheeks. My thoughts were muddled and chaotic.
They started taunting my dad, though I didn't pay any attention to what they said. I just tried to stay awake. When taunting him didn't give them any satisfaction, they turned to me once again. ''Cut her loose, there are just two more things we can do to her'' Big bad ordered the other two. I panicked, anything but that, please don't I wanted to yell out. I started to struggle against the two males, but nothing worked. I heard a zipper as the two wolved cut through my clothes. That's when I finally retreated in myself, cutting off my consciousness from my body.
By the time I came to, I was lying on the ground, moonlight shining dimly through the window. I was sore all over, but the cuts had mostly stopped bleeding. The worst pain came from my ribs and my face. I tried to get on my side, but a searing pain shot through me. I tried to say something, but no sound came out. The three wolves were no were in sight, nor was my dad. ''Dad'' I croaked out, but no answer came. No response ever came again from my father. Our front door open and someone walked in. ''No,'' I croaked out and started to move away from them as much as it hurt. I had to; I couldn't take anymore.
