Guardians of the Galaxy: The New Adventures

After the Guardians of the Galaxy: Star Lord (Peter Quill), Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and Drax stop some space monsters, they find a magical Infinity Stone but the evil Kree Hala the Accuser wants it for herself to bring back the extinct Kree Empire from the dead. Star Lord and his friends must stop their enemies and save the galaxy.

2. Chapter 2

Ch 2

The Guardians and Nova Corps had just stopped some space pirates from stealing their Quarnyx Batteries on Xandar when they were attacked by a mysterious spaceship outside the Nova Corps HQ. The spaceship did a bombing run and the energy blasts knocked down many Nova Guards. Then a squad of blue-faced Kree came out of the ship and trained their weapons on the survivors.

"You have something I desire." A Kree woman said. "The Soul Stone. Now I will use it to bring back the Kree Empire after Ronan was killed."

"That's not gonna happen." Star-Lord said. He had seen the Soul Stone before when Ronan the Accuser tried to use it to destroy Xandar but the Guardians used the Stone to suck out Ronan's soul and they gave the Stone to the Nova Corps for safekeeping. Now this Kree woman wanted it back for revenge.

Five Kree Troopers and two Kree Cyborgs aimed their energy blasters at the Guardians and Nova Guards. Everyone took cover as the Kree fired their blasters at them. Star-Lord took down most of the Kree Troopers with a huge fire blast from his Element Gun as Rocket and Drax finished off the remaining Troopers with their ion cannon and knives. Suddenly, a Kree Cyborg jumped on Star-Lord who tried to get him off with his jet boots. "Hey, get off!" Star-Lord said as he and the Kree Cyborg flew through the air.

"Let go!" Star-Lord said.

The Kree Cyborg ignored him and was trying to pull him down. Star-Lord spun around and flipped the Kree Cyborg over him. The Kree Cyborg smashed into a wall and was knocked out. The other Kree Cyborg fired his shoulder-mounted auto-targeter. Star-Lord avoided the rapid-fire energy blasts before trapping the Kree Cyborg in vines.

"The Kree went into the Science Room. The Soul Stone is most likely there." Gamora said.

"We can't let them get it." Star-Lord replied.

He and Gamora went into the HQ through the corridors, taking down many Kree soldiers in their way. They were too late as several Kree soldiers and Hala had stolen the Soul Stone from the Science Room and fled. The Guardians would have to chase the Kree on their ship for the Soul Stone.
