Chapter 2: Castle of the Sun and a Girl with a Familiar Face
Soon the sound of a groan appears, and the first to open the eyes is Twilight. She feels dizzy and sits up as she regains consciousness and tries to remember what happened.
Twilight groans as she rubs her head, "Ow… that was unexpected."
Twilight soon looks around to find herself at an open field full of flowers, and some trees. She looks up to see the bright sunny sky with some clouds and the sun is shining bright. Soon, Sun and the others are beginning to wake up as well.
"Well, that was a rough landing," Rainbow says.
"And it is most undignifying," Rarity adds.
Nina shakes her body and head.
And turns to Sun, "Are you and Regana alright, Sun?"
"I'm okay," Sun says.
Regana giggles and says, "Kay kay."
"She's okay," Sun giggles.
Spike shakes his head too, "I think we just jinxed ourselves into another crazy magical adventure."
"You think," Aria grumbles as she rubs her head.
Wire Wolf looks around as he wonders, "Where in the world are we now?"
"This place doesn't look like any place I've seen before," Wire Wolf says, looking around.
Adagio says, "I doubt this place is Equestria, or any other location from our world."
"You sure? Then again, that doesn't look like Princess Celestia's Castle," Sonata says, looking interested.
"What castle?" Fluttershy asks.
Applejack looks to where Sonata is looking at, "I reckon she means this castle."
The group turns their heads and become surprised to see that gasp them to gasp in surprise. What they see is a very large light yellow castle that has large towers with red flags on the poles. Some of the windows have been decorated with pearls and gems. There are also vines decorated on some of the towers. There is also a very large wall with a drawbridge and a moat. In the middle of the palace is a super tall tower that is made of glass, and has a room on the top of it.
Rainbow says, amazed, "Awesome!"
"That's a very elegant tower. I wonder what it's for," Rarity replies.
"Maybe it's some kind of observatory," Twilight says.
"How about a ballroom?" Falling Star replies.
Sombra then says, "I think it will be better to go over to the castle and see if they know why we were brought here. I suspect it's some kind of magic."
"Sombra's right. Someone with magic must have brought us here and we need to figure out who, how, and why, and see if we can get back home," Sun says.
"Then let's go to the castle," Pinkie happily cheers, and speeds to the castle.
Sun and the others begin to giggle and follow Pinkie Pie to the castle. After a little time of walking, the group of friends are able to reach the castle.
"The castle looks very exquisite. I wonder who lives here," Rarity says.
"Maybe this place has a king, or a queen, or even both," Pinkie asks, excited.
Then Sonata says, "Maybe even a prince or a princess?"
"How about a few pets and a garden?" Fluttershy suggests.
"We won't know until we go to the castle and find out," Twilight says.
But Adagio says, "Hold on, do you really think someone will let us come in the castle unannounced?"
"It's okay. We'll just ask whoever lives in the castle if they can tell us where we are and see if they can help us get back home," Sun says.
"But um… how do we get in?" Fluttershy asks.
Suddenly, they begin to hear a strange sound, and look to see the drawbridge for the castle going down until it creates a path between them on one side and the castle on the other.
"I guess we go in," Sonata replies, confused.
The group of friends begin to walk over the drawbridge and into the castle. Unknown to the group, Mágico and Kumonosu see the group walking into the castle.
Kumonosu grins and says, "It seems that the last of our group have finally arrived."
"Yes. It appears so," Mágico firmly says.
Then Kumonosu asks, "And the others?"
"They are already in the castle garden. I'll escort them there," Mágico says.
Mágico then leaves the room to meet up with Sun and her friends. In the castle grounds, Sun and her friends are walking around the grounds and wondering where they should go. Yet, they are also amazed to see the castle before their eyes.
"This place is amazing," Sonata says.
"I must admit, the place does have its charms," Adagio says.
Falling Star looks around, "Huh, I wonder where we should go."
"Hello," A male voice says.
The group turns their heads to see a young man who has beautiful short white hair, fair ivory skin, and has beautiful pure white snow wings. He is also wearing a white button up shirt with a teal blue jacket, black pants, and brown shows. He has a symbol that looks like a rainbow color six pointed star with a white pearl in the middle.
Hello everyone, my name is Mágico. It's nice to meet you," Mágico says, and bows in respect.
"Hello Mágico, it's nice to meet you. I'm Sun, this is Regana, my cat, Nina. These are my friends. Twilight Sparkle and her dog, Spike. Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Falling Star, Adagio Dazzle and her sisters, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk, Sombra, and my boyfriend, Wire Wolf," Sun says.
Everyone else says hello and hi.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all. I'm here to escort you to the Castle Garden where we have other guests who are waiting," Mágico says.
"Are you sure? We kind of came here unannounced and we're wondering if you can tell us where we are," Rarity says.
"I see. This place is the castle of the sun. I'm here with my good friend who is the owner of the castle," Mágico says.
"Your friend? Twilight asks.
"Yes. She and I are good friends, and she'll be with you all to join you. I'll take you to the castle garden with the other guests, we have refreshments, snacks, and there are different flowers and trees to help you relax," Mágico says.
"Thank you, Mágico," Falling Star says.
Mágico says, "Please, follow me."
Sun and her friends begin to follow Mágico across the castle grounds. Soon enough, they all arrive at the most beautiful garden they have ever seen. There are different trees with fruits, and some still have flowers. There are different flowers in many different colors. There are also some hedges around the area as well. The garden also has some decorations like balloons, streamers, different tables with chairs, and some tables that have food and drinks. They also see the other guests who are at the party.
The first group are a group of five girls: One girl with turquoise eyes and short curly auburn hair with a flower hair clip. The second girl has long teal hair with a small braid and blue eyes. The third girl has purple eyes, light tanned skin, and fluffy brown hair in lower pigtails. The fourth girl has red eyes and light red, thick curled hair and tented bangs. The fifth girl has light skin, maroon eyes, dark blue hair in braided twin-tails, with spiked bangs, and wears glasses. All five girls wear some kind of school uniform. Same with the young man that has pink eyes, with pink and purple ombre hair, and he's wearing a school uniform too. They also have a small purple bird, and a cute pink puppy.
The second group has five girls, one boy, and a baby. The first girl has magenta eyes, and dark magenta slightly wavy hair with uneven bangs, with green hair clips. She is holding a baby girl around a year old who has pinkish-blonde hair tied in two small twin tails, with dark yellow lashes and red eyes. The second girl has long navy blue hair with most of her bangs pulled to the left in a bun, being held by a blue clip, and blue eyes. The third girl has gold eyes and short yellow color hair covering parts of her eyes. The fourth girl looks a little younger than the others, she has red eyes with auburn hair worn in twin-tails, held by red ribbons. The last girl has a downward-slanting violet eyes, and lilac hair worn in two low twin-tails held by scrunchies to match her headband, and her buns shift towards the back of her head to resemble a bow. The only boy in the group has messy red hair and blue eyes and light tan skin.
The third group has only five girls and two little creatures. The first girl has hot pink eyes and short medium length magenta hair in twin tails, and wears a blue headband and two spheres and a star on the side. The second girl has dark turquoise hair with one pale blue and one light pink streak on the right side, turquoise eyes with star pupils, pointy ears. On the sides of her head are light pink buttons with a magenta heart in the center with her antennae dangling from them with small yellow orbs at the end. The third girl has brown skin with curved purple eyes, and thick chest-length golden hair, and is wearing an orange headband with a knotted bow on the side. The fourth girl has blue eyes, long layered purple hair with dark magenta ribbons on each side of her head. The fifth girl has red and gold eyes, dodger blue thick curled twin-tails, and has cat ears and a tail. With them are two creatures, one is a unicorn like creature with blue color eyes, rainbow color mane, and a tail that has a star on it, it also has a horn and wings. The second creature is a small light blue octopus-like creature, two star antennas and bluish greenish like eyes, and is on a saucer.
The fourth group has four girls, and each has a little creature with them. The first girl has dark pink eyes with matching chin length hair with hair clips on the side. She's holding a small pearl pink rabbit with pink cheeks, fuchsia hair curls, and wears a pink shawl. The second girl has gray blue eyes and medium length charcoal hair in a low ponytail in a blue scrunchies. She is holding a small blue and white penguin with light blushed cheeks and turquoise eyes. The third girl has medium length short brown hair in curled pigtails tied with some of her hair in braids, and brown eyes. On her shoulder is a yellow cat with orange stripes light brown slanted eyes, with a fanged tooth sticking out of the side of its mouth, and on its white fur collar are two diamonds. The fourth girl has purple eyes and long blonde hair tied in a bun. She is holding a small light beige dog with big purple eyes and puffy ears in light purple ribbons.
Sun and the others are amazed to see so many people in one place. Many of the groups are talking among themselves and chatting with the other people from the other groups.
"Wow! Looks like we're in the middle of a party," Pinkie happily says.
"Well then, I suppose we should head over there and greet ourselves," Sun says.
"I don't know. It seems pretty odd that this many people in one place," Spike says.
"I have to agree. I wonder why we're here," Nina says.
"We'll never know until we talk to them," Wire Wolf says.
"I suppose you're right," Sun says.
The group then decides to walk over to the groups of people to talk to them.
Sun calmly calls out, "Um, excuse us."
The four different groups turn to see Sun and her friends walking to the garden party.
The girl with the baby girl happily says, "Hello."
"Hello. My name is Sun, it's nice to meet you," Sun says.
"Hello Sun, my name is Hana. And this is Hugtan," The girl, Hana says.
The baby, Hugtan waves her hand and says, "Hi."
"Aww, aren't you a cute little girl," Sun happily says.
Then shows her her baby, "And this is Regana, say hello."
Regana happily waves her hand, "Hello."
Just then, her friends walk over.
Hana happily saya, "And these are my friends. Saaya, Homare, Emiry, Ruru, and Harry."
The navy blue hair, Saaya says, "Hello, it's nice to meet you."
"So what's your name?" The yellow hair girl, Homare asks.
"Right. I'm Sun and these are my friends," Sun says.
"Hello," The group says.
"So any idea what's going on?" Twilight asks.
"I'm afraid we're a bit lost ourselves, "Saaya says.
The red haired boy, Harry says, "Yeah. We were at my and Hugtan's place until strange webs appeared over us and we were sucked in."
"The same with us," Sonata says.
Just then, the five girls with two creatures walk over.
The blue haired girl asked, "It happened to you too?"
"Yeah. So who are you?" Aria asks.
The magenta twin-tail hair girl says, "I'm Hikaru. And these are my friends. Lala. Elena. Madoka. Yuni."
"Hello Fuwa," The little alicorn happily says.
"Aww! Aren't you so cute!" Fluttershy happily says.
The dark turquoise haired girl, Lala says, "This is Fuwa, and I'm Lala."
"Hello! Hola! My name is Elena," The tanned girl says.
"Hello Hola!" Pinkie happily says.
The little octopus says, "I'm Puruns."
"It's nice to meet you, are you and your little alicorn friend aliens?" Pinkie asks, excited.
The little octopus flinches in fright.
The blue hair girl, Yuni answers. "To be honest, my along with Lala, Fuwa, and Puruns are all aliens from different planets."
"You guys are aliens?! That is so cool!" Rainbow says, excited
"I know, it's Twi-cool," Hikaru says.
"Wow! That sounds amazing. I like to learn about your culture from your home planet," Twilight says, excited.
Lala then has her small antennas forward much to the group's confused looks.
"It's how we greet on my home planet, Saman," Lala says.
Sonata steps forward, She lifts her finger from each hand and taps on the round ends of the antennas. When she taps on them, they glow.
"Neat!" Sonata happily says.
Pinkie comes forward, "Oooh! Me next!"
Then Pinkie does the same as Sonata and giggles to see them glow.
Adagio turns to Yuni, "So did you guys get transported out of nowhere too?"
"We did," Yuni says.
The purple haired girl, Madoka says, "Yes. We were at Lala's spaceship until some strange spider web like portal appeared above us and we were sucked in."
Elena says, "When we woke up, we found ourselves in a field and found this castle."
Suddenly, they hear Futtershy say, "Aww, she is so cute!"
Sun and the others turn to see Fluttershy sitting on the ground with the blonde bunned girl with her beige puppy.
"Thank you. My name is Asumi. This is the young princess of Healing Garden, Latte," The girl, Asumi says.
"Really? She's a princess?" Fluttershy asks, interested.
"Yes," Asumi says.
"Amazing," Fluttershy.
Latte barks happily and licks Fluttershy on her cheek, making her giggle.
The rest of the girls' friends, and the last group walk over to meet the others.
"Hi I'm Nodoka, and this is Rabbin," The dark pink hair girl says.
The rabbit says, "Hi. It's nice to meet you."
The navy blue hair girl says, "I'm Chiyu, and this is my partner Pegitan."
"Um hello," The little penguin says.
The brown hair girl introduces herself, "Hello. My name is Hinata."
"And I'm Nyatoran, her partner. It's great to meet you," The yellow cat says.
"They sure are cute," Falling Star says.
"Aww, the penguin is so adorable," Pinkie happily says.
Adagio asks, "So what's your guys' story? How did you end up here?"
"We were at Chiyu's hot spring inn for a visit and a study date. Like the rest of us, we were sucked in by a strange portal made of spider webs," Nodoka says.
"So it happened to you guys too?" Sombra asks.
"That is too weird," Wire Wolf says.
The girl wearing the pink flower hair clip says, "It happened to us too."
The girl wearing glasses says, "Yes. We were having a picnic when we were sucked in the strange portal made of webs too."
The purple bird says, "Yes. We had no idea how or why we were brought here, but something must have happened."
The girl with the pink flower says, "I'm Haruka. And these are my friends. Minami, Kirara, Towa, and her brother Kanata. The purple bird is Aroma and the little puppy here is his little sister Pafu,"
"How are they related? One of them is a bird and the other is a poodle?" Falling Star asks.
The red hair girl, Towa says, "They're actually special fairies from the Hope Kingdom."
"Fairies?" Aria says, confused.
"Yes. In fact, Towa and Kanata are actually royalty from the Hope Kingdom," Minami says.
"Really?" Sun asks.
"That's right," Korara says.
"That's pretty cool. Sun is a princess too," Pinkie happily says.
Sun blushes, "Thanks for the reminder."
"What? It's true. In fact, we're also friends with another princess who is going to become Equestria's new ruler," Pinkie says.
"And she's one of our best friends," Sonata happily says.
"Really?" Minami asks.
"Yeah. In fact, we also had a lot of fun together," Pinkie says.
Applejack rolls her eyes with a smile, "We had fun alright. Even though we also get into trouble."
Sun and the others continue to talk to their new friends, and they actually seem to be getting along. Watching from the window in one of the towers is Sunset Shimmer. She is surprised to see so many people down there and is a little nervous. She walks away from the window as she looks at herself in the mirror. Sunset is wearing a magenta blouse with an orange skirt that is decorated with purple and light yellow diamonds on it, and with a red and yellow shimmering sun on the right side. Her hair is also in a side braid.
Sunset says, "It's going to be nice meeting with the girls, but I'm a little nervous. I… I haven't met that many people in the long time. I do hope this will work."
"You don't have anything to worry about Sunset," Kumonosu says as he appears in the room.
Then says, "This plan will work and as long as you're in this world, you'll be as healthy as can be. And once the spell works, you'll be able to be healed in the real world."
"I guess, but you did say they won't get hurt, right?" Sunset asks, concerned.
"Do not worry, no harm will come to them. Now, it's time that we meet our esteemed guests," Kumonosu says.
Sunset nods her head and says, "Okay."
Sunset and Kumonosu then leave the room and the door closes behind them.
Back in the castle garden, Sun along with her friends, and the different group of friends are getting acquainted, and are also trying to figure out what is going on. Suddenly, they hear the doors opening from the castle. Coming out first is Kumonosu. Mágico firmly stares at him and has an expression of distrust on his face.
Kumonosu says, "Hello everyone, and welcome to the Castle of the Sun. We are so happy to have you all here. You all have been invited to stay in the castle to have a wonderful stay. There will be fun games, and tomorrow, we will have a ball where everyone will dress like royalty."
The group begins to talk among themselves. Some of them are rather excited. Sun and the others are also interested.
"I am Kumonosu, your wonderful host and magician of this castle. You all have already met Mágico. And now, it's time to meet the young lady of the castle," Kumonosu says.
He turns to the side as the young lady of the castle walks out to introduce herself to everyone. Seeing the face, Sun and her friends let out a gasp of shock and surprise. What they see is a girl that has Sun's face, hair color, skin color, eye color. In fact, other than the clothes, this girl looks exactly like Sun.
Kumonosu says, "Everyone meet Sunset Shimmer, the fine young lady of the castle."
"Um hello, it's um, nice to meet you all, I… I do hope we can become good friends," Sunset says, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Sun and her friends are especially shocked to see, mostly Sun to see this girl who has Sun's real name and begins to wonder, could this girl be her counterpart from the real world.
