After a mysterious letter sent to the Belem's, instructing them to head to a wharf In Maine, sends them to an abandoned lighthouse. They will experience an adventure that will change their minds on the perception of reality and space.
Somewhere off the Coast of Maine in 1912. We see Andy,Annie,Malcolm, and Izzie in yellow raincoats on a long, wooden, white rowboat in a rainstorm in the ocean with two mysterious adults in yellow raincoats as well. One was female and the other was male. Both the gentleman and lady had British accents, the mysterious gentleman was in the front of the boat rowing towards their destination with the mysterious lady was behind him, and the Belem Kids were in the back of the rowboat. Both the mysterious gentleman and lady were bickering over how the mysterious lady was just sitting there while the mysterious gentleman was doing all the rowing. The mysterious gentleman asked the Belem Kids.
Mysterious Gentleman:Are you kids just going to sit there? He said, begrudgingly.
Andy was about to speak until the mysterious lady interrupted him and replied to the mysterious gentleman, questionably.
Mysterious Lady:As compare to what? Standing? She said, curiously.
The mysterious gentleman retaliated saying.
Mysterious Gentleman:Not standing. Rowing. He said, sternly.
Andy tried again to ask where they were going. But the mysterious lady interrupted him again and said to the mysterious gentleman, curiously.
Mysterious Lady:Rowing? She said, confused yet sternly.
Mysterious Lady:They are kids after all. She said, telling the mysterious gentleman.
The mysterious gentleman replied to her, pointing out.
Mysterious Gentleman:There are four kids I may say, that's a lot of arms doing nothing. He said, displeased.
The mysterious lady then handed Andy a wooden box with, on top of the lid, words printed on paper in red, white and blue colors spelling out: SUPPLIES. Andy asked the mysterious lady, politely.
Andy: Excuse me, What's this? He said, gently.
The mysterious lady said nothing but pointed at the label on the lid of the box. The mysterious gentleman asked the mysterious lady.
Mysterious Gentleman:Well, why don't you row? He asked, furiously.
The mysterious lady replied to the mysterious gentleman, surprised.
Mysterious Lady:Rowing?! I haven't planned on it.
Mysterious Gentleman:So you expect me to shoulder the burden? He asked, surprised yet displeased.
The mysterious lady retaliated by saying.
Mysterious Lady:No, but I do expect you to do all the rowing. She said, wittily.
The mysterious gentleman then asked the lady.
Mysterious Gentleman:And why is that?
The mysterious lady replied, answering.
Mysterious Lady:Coming here was your idea.
Mysterious Gentleman:My idea?! He said in shock.
The mysterious gentleman then told the lady, reminding her.
Mysterious Gentleman:It was your idea to bring the kids first. He said, furiously. It was *my* idea to bring the "associate" with us. He said, ominously.
The mysterious lady then told the gentleman, reassuring him.
Mysterious Lady:And we will, just as we finished dropping off the kids.
The mysterious gentleman then asked, wondering.
Mysterious Gentleman:Well what about the rowing?
The mysterious lady replied to him.
Mysterious Lady: I made it clear that I don't believe in the exercise.
Mysterious Gentleman:The Rowing?! He said, confused yet shocked.
The mysterious lady remarked.
Mysterious Lady:Goodness no. I believe that would be wonderful exercise. She said, jokingly.
The mysterious gentleman then asked the mysterious lady.
Mysterious Gentleman:Then what?
Mysterious Lady:The whole thought experience.
As the Belem Kids got closer to their destination, Andy spoke up and asked the mysterious lady, politely.
Andy Belem:Um, Excuse me. How much further?
The mysterious lady ignored him while the mysterious gentleman said, mysteriously.
Mysterious Gentleman:You'll see.
As they got closer,Izzie, who was mesmerized by the thrashing sound of the waves made by the rainstorm. Saw a bright, yellow light coming in and out of view. She thought to herself that they were going to a lighthouse.
As the mysterious figures were bickering over past and present tenses, Andy decided to open the box of supplies.
Inside the box was an assortment of things. Inside were three small cloth pouches and a bag of silver coins, labeled on the bag were the words:Silver Eagles. Also inside was a medium sized roll of red tickets that were each labeled:1912 Colombia Fair. A small box of pistol ammo, a small medical kit-satchel, a small tin can of salts, were also in the box. Underneath everything was a wide envelope with a red seal covering the opening tip with a note on top that said, Give To Booker Dewitt. And a black and white photo of an old man with a brown suit and black top hat, on the back of the photo were the words:Find Him, For He Knows.
Andy then looked into the bag of silver eagles and counted them, he came up with 300 silver eagles. He put 100 eagles into each pouch and gave one to Malcolm and Annie. Andy kept the box of pistol ammo, the old photo, and put the envelope in his pocket. He then gave the roll of red tickets to Annie, the tin can of salts to Malcolm, and the medical kit to Malcolm to pass it to Izzie.
The mysterious figures finally stopped bickering, then the mysterious gentleman asked the mysterious lady.
Mysterious Gentleman: I would really appreciate it if you would assist me with rowing. He said, displeased.
The mysterious lady replied to him.
Mysterious Lady:Well why don't you ask them? I imagine they would have a greater interest in getting there than we do. She said, begrudgingly.
The mysterious gentleman then told her.
Mysterious Gentleman: Well there's no point in asking.
The mysterious lady asked the mysterious gentleman.
Mysterious Lady:Why's that?
Mysterious Gentleman:Because... We're here. He said, ominously.
As the mysterious figures stopped talking, Andy and the others looked out and saw in front of them was a red and white old and worn out lighthouse on a small rocky island with a small, long, wooden dock and run down boat house beside the dock. The mysterious lady then said to the kids, announcing.
Mysterious Lady: We've arrived.
Andy saw a rickety wooden ladder attached to the side of the dock. The Belem Kids, one by one, climbed up the ladder and made their way to the worn out lighthouse. The mysterious lady and gentleman turned the boat around rowed back to where they started. Before they left they yelled out, to the Belem Kids.
Mysterious Gentleman:We'll be back with someone else! He yelled out.
The mysterious lady then said, after him.
Mysterious Lady:In the meantime head inside and get out of the rain, it's getting awfully windy out here!
As they were rowing out of view, the Belem Kids headed up some small spiral stairs, towards the door into the lighthouse. When Annie made it first to the door, she saw a note nailed onto the door. She told the rest of the Belem's.
Annie Belem:Hey guys! Come check this out.
The rest of the Belem's made their way to the door. When they all got there, Andy asked Annie.
Andy Belem:What is it Annie? He asked, curiously.
Annie looked at the not and said, reading it.
Annie Belem:Dewitt, Bring Us The Girl And Wipe Away The Debt. This Is Your Last Chance!
After Annie finished reading the note,Malcolm said, wondering.
Malcolm Belem:Well whoever this "Dewitt" person is. He must be in some serious debt if he needs to bring a girl to whoever they are.
When Malcolm said the word Dewitt. Andy remember the envelope that was was given to, but decided to wait if the Dewitt character was the same person that was told on the note. Andy then knocked hard on the door and asked, loudly.
Andy Belem: Hello! Is anyone there?
The door then suddenly opened up slowly and creakily. Andy looked inside first and saw nobody. Inside was a spiral staircase and a small wooden spherical table with a silver dustpan on top, filled with water, and a sign above it saying:Of Thy Sins, Shall I Wash Thee.
Everyone gathered inside and placed their raincoats on a wooden coatrack. While everyone was looking around, Andy saw Annie leaning against the wall with her arm's crisscross. Andy went over to her and asked her, Gently.
Andy Belem:Hey, is everything ok?
Annie lifted her head, looked at Andy beside her and said, with doubts in her tone.
Annie Belem:You really think they're alive? Annie asked Andy.
Andy told her, with confidence.
Andy Belem:I'm sure Annie. Mom spoke to me in a vision.
Annie then said to Andy, with disbelief in her tone.
Annie Belem: Well, how do you know that it was really Mom, and not just a dream?
Before Andy could answer her question, a middle aged man's voice said very loudly, while knocking very hard on the door.
???:Ah, excuse me, it's Booker Dewitt. I guess you were expecting me?
