-Jack's POV-

Me and Arcee are walking through Kaon when the Key glowed intensely and the ground began to shake and cracks appeared. Me and Arcee watched in awe as a passageway rose from the ground.

"Is this Vector Sigma?" I asked staring at the huge passageway.

"I believe so." She replied.

We started walking toward the entrance, but before we got in an enormous creature reared up from the passage. The creature charged at Arcee and her last minute strength doing nothing to injure it. Arcee was incapacitated and the creature started charging at me but was distracted by Arcee.

"Ratchet, there's this big, bug like creature attacking us! What is it?" I hurriedly asked.

"Those are insecticons. They were left to guard Cybertron." Ratchet replied.

'What am I suppose to do?' I think, 'What would Optimus do?' I start racking my brain for answers to my questions but found none.

"Run Jack! Hurry!" Arcee yelled to me, snapping me back to reality. My eyes widened in surprise and my mouth hung open. I knew that she was right but I was still shocked. I nod and started running to the entrance and the door closed behind me once I got in Vector Sigma.

I slowed to a walk, letting the passageway lead me where I need to be. I walked through an archway and pulled out the Key again.

A kind of blue spark came from the middle of the circular room and a blue ball of, what I think is, energy appeared. I placed the Key where it looked like it needed to be and let it do it's work.

'Why is the blue energy ball getting bigger?' I asked inside my head, 'Why is it turning a darker shade of blue!'

A flash filled the room and I felt something. My mind falling to a different place...

-After Jack Awoke-

'That was strange.' I thought questionably, 'Probably just part of the process.'

It only looked like I was out for a minute, and this is taking so long. Why is it taking this long?

"Ratchet, why is the process taking so long?" I asked over the com system.

"Jack, you are downloading the wisdom of the primes. You are basically downloading a brain." He replied sternly, "It's not going to be as fast as downloading something onto a MP3 player."

'So, that's why.' I thought, 'I didn't realize it was an actual brain.'

-A Few Moments Later-

What is that noise? I turn around to find Scraplets coming in. They made way to where the Key was downloading and started to eat away at it.

'I can't just let them eat the Key, we would never get Optimus back!' I thought desperately, 'What would Arcee or Optimus do?' I wracked my brains for answers before remembering what raph did and started crushing the scraplets with a metal pole I found.

I turned around to smash another one but instead found a insecticon just walking in.

'Perfect,' I thought, 'he will be live bait.'

The insecticon started retreating away from the scraplets but it was to late. I had already grabbed a scraplet and showed it the insecticon.

In less than five seconds the insecticon was swarmed in scraplets and falling down an endless pit.

I sighed in relief and saw the download process was complete. I quickly grabbed the Key and ran out of there as fast as I could, eager to get Optimus Prime back.

When I got out of Vector Sigma I see Arcee just starting to wake up. When she actually came to she panicked and jumped up in a fighting stance.

"Where's the insecticon." Arcee said, getting straight to the point.

"Dead." I replied normally. Arcee looked at me funny so I went on, "Scraplets." She nodded in understanding.

"We better head back now, Jack. The sooner Optimus comes back, the better." Arcee said, transforming into a motorcycle, letting me hop on to get back faster.

-After the Whole Fighting Scene-

"Are you sure I'm worthy?" Optimus Prime asked hesitantly.

"Oh, you have no idea." I said, bringing up the Key to Optimus's chest...

Hello everyone, I usually don't put Author notes like these but there are a few things you need to know:

First, the storyline to this is going to follow along with canon but there are still gonna be major changes in events and such.

Second, please forgive me for skipping the fighting scene and that will happen a lot thanks to me not knowing how to write them but be patient please! I'm gonna come back and write them in one day!

Third, I would love if you'd give feedback on the story and I don't mind criticizime at all so I gladly welcome that.

Finally, I ask for forgiveness if there are any grammar, punctuation and other mistakes. I proof read these over and over but please forgive me of they are.
