Chapter 2
Hannah was getting ready for the day and made it to Star command for work. She was headed for the training deck. She saw Walter rushing by to get there too.
They started training. Things were going smoothly. "Hey Walter heads up!" Hannah said blasting a bot that was above him.
"Thanks," Walter said. "Hannah behind you!" He said taking out a blaster behind her.
"Thanks," Hannah said. The training was continuing. The training simulation ended.
"Good work rookies keep it up and don't get cocky." Commander Nebula said.
In the mess hall Hannah and Walter were sitting together. "Thanks for watching my back during the training simulation," Hannah told him.
"It was no big deal and thank you for helping me during the simulation too," Walter said.
Commander Nebula came up. "You two showed fine teamwork during the training simulation and watched out for each other, I think you two will make a fine team," Commander Nebula said.
"You think we can make it as partners?" Walter asked.
"Yes I believe so," Nebula answered. "From now on you two are partners," he said.
"Yes sir Commander Nebula," they said.
Training was a normal part of the day when they were at Star command as was paperwork. Today they were out in their ship 64.
They were on a mission to Trade world. "Trade world the place in the galaxy with the highest crime rate," Hannah said.
"Sure is this is a criminal paradise," Walter agreed.
"We are supposed to be searching for some guy who was been committing fraud," Hannah said.
"But where do we're do we get that information?" Walter asked her.
"My dad said he always got this kind of info from a guy named Crumford Lorak." Hannah said.
Walter saw a guy and came up to him. "We are looking for a guy named Crumford Lorak where can we find him?" He asked.
"His apartment is in a seedy building on Waldron Avenue it's called the Crust you can't miss it," the guy said.
"Thank you," Walter said. "Hannah I know where we can find Crumford Lorak," he said.
They made it to the Crust it was seedy looking and they found Crumford's apartment. They knocked on the door. "What?" Crumford asked opening the door.
"We want information Crumford," Walter said.
"On what might I ask?" Crumford asked.
"Guy making counterfeit weapons and selling them what is his name and where is he?" Hannah asked.
"I heard of him his name is Rux Elo he hangs out in this bar were all the crooks on trade world hang out let just say this guy will do anything to make a quick buck other than making counterfeit weapons he's also a master thief and escape artist," Crumford said.
"Thank you now let's go Hannah," Walter said.
The two of them rushed to the bar and saw there were many criminals there and they were leaving fast when they saw two space rangers coming in.
"We are looking for Rux Elo," Hannah asked one of the workers. The worker pointed at a guy who was having a drink.
Hannah and Walter came up to him. Rux looked up from his drink. "Rux Elo you are under arrest," Walter said. Rux jumped on to him and the two started to wrestle Hannah helped and the two of them managed to get cuffs on him and took him to the ship.
They took him to Star command where he was put on a transport to jail.
"Pretty good for a first mission partner," Hannah said.
"I agree," Walter said.
The two of them did make a good team. Hannah and Walter were on another mission and found something. "A large yellow Z is the mark of Zurg but he's gone," Hannah said. "I think we need some investigating," she said.
Then someone appeared he looked Zurg but different. "I am Zygron the evil emperor of planet Z and Zurg only son," he said.
"Who knew Zurg had a kid," Walter said.
"He must be trying to take over this planet," Hannah said.
"We'll look what we have here a couple of space rangers," Zygron said.
"I am Hannah Lightyear and I won't let you take over this planet," Hannah said.
"Lightyear? The daughter of the one who destroyed my dear old dad? I will make you pay for what happened to him," Zygron said.
Hannah and Walter started to fight the hornets and sent Zygron running. "Curse you Hannah Lightyear!" Zygron said as he left.
"I think we haven't seen the last Zygron," Hannah said.
"I agree with you on that Hannah," Walter said.
The two of them headed back to Star command and reported what happened and about Zygron.
This was just the beginning of Hannah and Zygron being enemies.
