Okay, I'm just gonna point out this fanfic was inspired by "Fortitude'' by Laptoper132, another fanfic that was inspired is "Questing for Respect" by VGS2, but was originally from Ravengal. Then the final story that was inspired for this is "The Assassin and The Princess." by PokeMaster64.

The reason why wasn't uploading any chapters is that I had major writer's block and I really didn't work on EGH so I wanted to start a new story. So I'll shut up and let the story start.

Ferolcyon does not own anything, just the characters.

"Velo get out!" A voice could be heard from a distance, the voice said once more. "We can't just leave him! He's important to me! To everyone!"

A blurry vision of flames and a face looked so sad yet so happy. Many voices could be heard, as many faces could be seen as well. But this, however.. was the loudest. Visions or flashbacks constantly repeat, crying could be heard as feelings of despair explored the air. None of it was recognizable, it was like demons coming back like no return. However, the air was extremely thin, hard to breathe, reality broken into shards as the view has changed once more, on top of the mountain. Hearing voices once again, Velo, his name is called, turned around to see a similar figure...

"Wake up."

Velo was startled and fell off his bed, "Arceus damn it!" He sat up rubbing his head with his paw. "You gotta be kidding me.." Looking up it seemed to be his bed, a bunk bed. But only the top was there, "What a pain... I should've placed walls up there when I had the chance."

Looking outside the window seeing the sun glimmering down on him. Sighing to himself he got up and walked out into his living room, heading to the entrance to go outside. He opened up the door and closed it, starting his morning jog.

"How depressing today isn't it." Signing again and keeping at his pace, the forest didn't have much till he made it to town not too far from his house. Looking around taking the smell of the fresh morning, seeing pokemon opening shops and guilds even some houses too. Velo set eyes on the cafe reading the brand of the building made out of wood, walking to it; going inside. Seeing a couple of familiar faces.

"HELP!"

Velo scratched his head as his vision becomes somewhat distorted for a few seconds. He shakes his head and looked at the front. "Get yourself together Velo.." Putting back his posture to normal he walked up to the counter.

"Ah, Velo what can I get ya today?" The Meinshao was cleaning a few mugs or cups, and restocking the plastic cups to the side.

"Just give me the usual, Lin." He sighed as he waited to the side, for his order. Looking around remembering the first time being here. Velo chuckled to himself to how dumb he was at the start, getting his composure back to normal he looked outside as he heard yelling outside. "What's happening?" Being confused.

"Oh, it's most likely the guild finished with their 'adventure'. It quite a big crowd, like a raid." Lin said out loud to Velo as hearing something being mashed and mixed. Walking up to the counter, and setting the plastic cup on the counter. "Just how you like it."

Grabbing the plastic cup with his mouth, in the cup having a greenish blueish mixture inside. Placing the cup to his cup holder he made."Thanks, Lin." Velo looked out the window. Seeing a few pokemon going over to the 'Heroes' that was seen. "Man this is why I'm never gonna join a guild." Dropping two silver coins on the counter.

"Why not? You don't like popularity? I've seen your strength before, I'd admit you're stronger than me." Lin looking down at Velo, taking the silver coins.

"First, you're right I don't like popularity. Secondly, I've got visions or dreams lately giving me headaches." He rubbed his head, sighing.

"You good dude?" Lin's face frowned a bit.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine. I'm just tired that's all." Velo waved it off like its nothing and took a sip of the drink feeling relaxed.

The Meinshao wasn't taken by the lie. "Dude, you think that I don't know that you're not fine? You keep saying the same phrase, 'I'm just tired that's all.' What's wrong?" He looked at Velo seriously.

Velo sighed and spoke up. "Overworking myself again…."

"You're still messing with that crystal? Ever since you got that crystal, you started to act like this." Lin sighed and facepalmed.

"Don't blame me, blame my personality I'm curious of what I can do with it." He shrugged as he looked

"That's not what I meant, don't think I see you having these random headaches." Lin sighed once again and leaning over the counter. Seeing that Velo doesn't want to talk about it, Lin decides to change the topic, "So are you going to participate in the tournament tomorrow?" Lin scratched his head smiling at Velo.

"Ehh… I don't know, I'm somewhat retired from fighting." Velo scratched his head.

Lin was confused, "Wait what? Dude, you're like twenty-four how-"

"Nono, I just don't like fighting anymore. I kinda just grown out of it."

Lin understand what he meant he just nodded at Velo then continued, "You sure?"

"No, not really." Velo shrugged and walked away, "I'll see you later alright?" Velo walked off heading outside.

"Just be safe. You only lived here for a year and you're acting like this." Lin sighed and went back to cleaning.

Velo took another sip out of his drink seeing all the yelling and screaming, generally speaking, cheering. There was a massive crowd covering his view. Seeing a group of pokemon somewhat like a lane. The estimated amount of pokemon he saw in the group was 4 could be more than two is wearing armor.

"I don't want to be here." As he turned around he even saw a bigger crowd coming his way. "You've gotta be kidding me." Looking to the left seeing a small opening. "There." He readied himself and ran straight towards the exit.

The gap was slowly closing in, he ran a bit faster creating shocks and producing electricity around, sadly dropping his drink in the process. Running straight out he made it, gasping for a few seconds. Turning around seeing a massive crowd of pokemon still cheering. "I might consider leaving this town." Turning around again back to where his body is facing running straight back to his house. "I was hoping to do some shopping but I guess I'll do that when things calmed down.

In the forest running down the pathway for a bit; he stopped for a bit looking around the gentle forest. "This is why I like living here, so nice and calming." He grunted at remembering the loud town that he was just at. "Nevermind, I stand corrected." Keeping his eyes on the road, seeing his house in the forest. "I guess it's back to work again." Velo opening the door and closing it. Seeing that he left everything as it was from this morning. Walking down the hall seeing a mask he hung up ever since he moved here.

Stretching for a bit he went to the extra room he had and closed it. Examining the room seeing his weapons and card. Looking at wanted papers everywhere with a pokemon wearing a sinister mask the same mask that was in his hall. Facing at his desk seeing the 'crystal' that Lin was talking about. "Well, let's do this again, day 42 on this crystal."

"Wait up guys!" As everyone in the crowd looked at the Sylveon. She was panting from carrying a massive stone more of a crystal. As her group; the five that Velo saw. Sighed at the same time the Sylveon looked at her group seeing a Lucario, Dragonite, Umbreon, Female Meowstic, and an Ampharos.

"You're slow." The Lucario said while facepalming.

"You can't blame me, Zeal. You guys were supposed to help me but you didn't. Besides how the hell did the criminal even carry this crystal." She dropped the crystal on the floor exhausted.

"Juno you're stronger than any of us, you're an X+ Rank and a Champion in this town." The Dragonite said chuckled at the fact they were carried the entire time. "Are you sure that we all should take the reward? You mostly did all the work."

"Oh yeah, don't worry about it Jacob, I feel generous besides this mission was an SS+ ranked mission I wanted a challenge or just wanted something to do." Juno smiled as her ribbons unwrapped the crystal.

"Well if you say so.." The Dragonite or Jacob sounded a bit down feeling bad.

"Well like I said I don't need it. So I'm going to head back to the guild." As she walked past them and looked back on them. "Also one of you should carry it this time I'm too tired to carry it." The 5 pokemon looked at each other hearing in the background "Not it!" Juno, giggling to herself, facing forward and headed back to the guild. Being greeted back by many pokemon, civilians, children too. Walking for about a minute she made it back to her guild, opening the doors of her guild she yelled out loud. "I'm back!"

As everyone in the guild looked at her and some ran towards her as she was greeted by many of her friends she took a seat like a round table for 8 pokemon. "Juno! It's good to see you back." A Goodra walked up to her and patted her in the back.

"Thank you, Anna, it's great to be back." Juno smiled upon Anna as she took a seat next to her. "Where's Grandmaster Utopi?" Anna shrugged as another pokemon walked up behind her and used her "paws" to cover her eyes which Juno can somewhat see-through.

"Guess who!" As the green pokemon said giggling for a bit.

"Oh come on Yumi, I know it's you." Juno chuckled as the green pokemon uncovered her eyes as Juno turned around seeing a Reuniclus.

"Of course you would know! Who wouldn't?" Yumi shrugged as she flew over the seat across from Juno. "Where's Zeal and the others?"As she scratched her head.

"Oh they're getting the reward for the mayor, I don't need any of the rewards, I'm already rich and popular." She sweated a bit as she heard the doors open from the front. Turning around once again to see who came through the doors this time. It was Zeal and the others. "Oh, what a coincidence they got here quicker than I expected." Seeing that they were exhausted and walked over to her table.

They all sat down as they were exhausted, their back slouched a bit as the Umbreon looked at Juno. "How the hell... Were you able to carry it.." He closed his eyes and laid down the front half of his body on the table as he was sitting down. "It took all of us to carry it… What the hell did you do to train…"

"Well, that's a secret." She winked at the Umbreon. Getting her composure back to normal. "Still where's Grandmaster Utopi? I need to talk to him about what I will do next there's a lot of restrictions when you're X+ ranked." She sighed sadly.

"You can still use your free time while you have the chance." Yumi was spinning around in circles as she turned upside-down looking at Juno. "Us S ranks need to catch up to you."

"Well it's not easy getting up to get this rank, you guys still need to reach SSS+ ranked." Juno did the same position as the Umbreon laid down her front half on the table. "Besides, I'm not the type to be taking a break, it's so boring to do nothing." Sighing to herself.

"Well just do something new for once. It wouldn't hurt to take a break." Yumi turned herself back up to normal.

"Should I?" She looked at the others, seeing Zeal, Jacob, Anna, the Umbreon, the Ampharos, and the Meowstic. "It would be interesting to do it.." She rethought over it.

"You do what you do, I don't care." Zeal stretched out his arms and got up. "I'm gonna go home, I might come back to get another mission." He walked off to the exit to the door already leaving so quickly when he just got here. Juno then looked at Jacob, as he shrugged so Juno looked at Anna as she did the same.

"Just go take a break, you've done so much for the guild it wouldn't be fair if you took a bit." The Umbreon got up and walked away.

"Sheesh, Eli doesn't seem to be in a good mood." Anna looked at the Umbreon as he sat at a different table, seeing that he was being greeted by others.

"Doesn't matter." Juno looked at the Ampharos and the Meowstic. "What about you guys, what should I do exactly?"

"Hmm... I agree with Eli, you do need a break. Ever since that criminal stopped showing up for four years. you started to keep your guard up. Just face it Juno, he probably meant what he means." The Ampharos sounded like a female as she then got up as well and walked off.

"What's with everyone walking away after they say something?" Juno scratched her head with her ribbons. As everyone still at the table shrugged at her. "Then what about you Millie?" As she looked at the Meowstic as she shrugged too. "And what the hell is with you guys shrugging at me when you don't know." As they shrugged again. Juno facepalming and sighing. "Fine, I'll take a break but what should I do? I'm probably gonna get surrounded by many Pokémon."

"Just wear a disguise." Yumi flew around the table bored of what to do.

"Alright alright, I'll figure it out on my own." Juno got up and walked away still she was stopped by Anna.

"What did you want from Grandmaster Utopi again?" As she looked imitating by her size but from her face, she seemed quite relaxed.

"Oh, right I just wanted to ask him what I should do next." She rubbed her chin.

"Oh okay." As Anna walked away from her and went back to the table. Then remembered about something, "Wait before you go." As Juno stopped her movement and looking back. "Are you going to participate in the tournament tomorrow?

"Oh yeah, I'm definitely gonna go. But if you all are gonna participate I'll see you there!" She waved them off and walked towards the doors.

She opened the door then closed it outside in town, walking back home thinking of what she should do. Thinking about what she will wear as a 'disguise' but for now, she was thinking of wearing what she could've worn 'usually' when she isn't working or doing missions. As she kept walking, being stopped by other Pokémon who idolized her or asking her for an autograph, just the usual for popular Pokémon. Sighing to herself she made it to her 'house' as others may say, it was somewhat resembling a mansion but somewhat not. However, there were big gates at the front as she opened them and closed right behind herself. Going forward inside her 'house'.

"I should get changed then if I wanna go somewhere. But where should I exactly go?" She scratched her head and thought of an idea. "Maybe I should go shopping, It's been two years since I've gone shopping for new clothes, or shopping in general... Maybe I could also go to the forest? Nono, I've been out there for way too long." Juno facepalmed at the fact that her usual clothes are probably too small for her.

Back with Velo, seeing that he's extremely pissed off as. He walked out of the door and grabbed or bite onto one of his swords that was filled with a destructive aura around it and walked out sliding his door to his backyard. Seeing that there are sword slashes and axes on trees. Velo closed his eyes as he took deep breaths feeling the air around him letting his anger control himself. Then immediately he opened his eyes as his purple eyes became bloodshot red like an Umbreon's, and as his primary fur became black as his collar become red like his bloodshot red eyes but more of a maroon color. Black electricity started to produce then he dropped the sword from his mouth and his electricity picked it up.

"I'm so done with that damn crystal." He took his battle stance as he looked at a fresh tree. His vision became distorted again. With all his might he sliced the tree in half, behind the trees were also cut in half, about 5 in total. As he calmed down his temper his fur and eyes changed back to their usual color. "What time is it…" He went back inside dropping the sword on the ground and picking it up with his mouth and walking back inside and using his hind legs to close the door. Seeing that is about 4 PM, he sighed realizing that he's been staying inside his house for about 6 hours. He groaned and dropped off his sword at the wall and getting ready.

Putting on his satchel and looking at his cards in his living rooms. The cards that were on the table had a weapon on each card, there were about 50 cards in total."I'll probably need them. Who knows what you'll run into these days." He picked them up and putting them inside his satchel and immediately running out the door and slamming it. "If I can't do much with the crystal then I'll just have to make a weapon out of it then." Running quickly to town and having a few statics around him. He quickly checked how much money he had, leaving himself with 1 sliver and 10 coppers. Facepalming that he should've brought his instruments, then remembering about the tournament of what Lin mentioned.

"For the sake of Arceus." He facepalmed that he's planning to do the tournament and the fact that he forgot to ask where it's taking place and where to sign up. "Not only that I need it, if I win it or show my skills I'm gonna get crowded by many pokemon. Besides how many Jolteons are even in this town?" He sighed in disappointment asked a few pokemon where to sign up for the tournament and found out that it was nearby the castle. Shocked at the fact that he lived here for a year, he didn't know that there was a castle in this "town."

"I can sign up tomorrow, I'll just come there looking like someone else." He just shrugged it off and turned around, "So I just basically came here for nothing again…" Velo facepalmed and walked back to the forest having his back slouched, looking sad. As he was tapped on the shoulder. "What do you want." He turned around seeing a Sylveon.

"Oh! Sorry, you just seemed to be down-" As they both made eye contact. "You look familiar…" As she took a closer look.

"I look familiar? Lady, every Jolteon looks the same, every Sylveon looks the same. I don't know what you expect." Velo wanted to leave immediately, another eeveelution is the last pokemon he would want to talk to. He stopped making eye contact

Juno backed up looking a bit ticked off. "Excuse me? Do you even know who I even am?" She tried to remain in a calm state.

"If I did know who you were I would've said your name. But I don't." Velo turned back looking at the forest. "Now if you excuse me I want to go home." He continued to walk forward.

Juno sighed and looked at the Jolteon that walked away. "Hey wait, can we try again? Like, introduce ourselves?"

"And why would I do that?" He looked at the Sylveon taking a good look at what she's wearing. Seeing that she was wearing some sailor outfit but a bit too pinkish, it seemed that the outfit was a bit too small for her. He looked away so as not to be rude and looked at her as their eyes aligned with each other and giving her a plain look.

"What's with that expression?" Her face puffed up.

Velo kept his face the same as he responded, "Oh, it's just your outfit." He looked back at her body again.

"What about it? Unless… you're a pervert!" She tried to tease him.

He looked at her confused, "Excuse me?"

"Nevermind, how about I get you a drink? To make it up for me being 'rude'." Juno tried being nice and turn things around

He shook his head, "No, first you talked to me, a stranger, secondly you insulted me by calling me a pervert." Velo decided to walk away to head to the forest. "Also, leave me alone."

"Why so? You seem sad or depressed." She didn't even try acting.

"Is that supposed to be offensive?" He looked back at her still having his body facing the forest.

"Nono, it just reminds me of me when I was lonely or sad." Juno looked away from him frowning.

Velo didn't want to have sympathy for her but he decided just this once, "Fine, fine just don't cry." He rolled his eyes.

"What do you mean 'don't cry? I'm not crying!" She looked away from him.

Velo sighed, "What's your name?"

"My name is Juno what is yours?" She said very calmly

Velo stayed quiet but his face remained the same but his mind, however… Probably went crazy, "Are you serious about your name?" He questioned her.

"Yeah..? What about it?" Juno was completely confused.

"The one who tried taking down 'The silent lighting.'? But failed?" Velo asked again if he wasn't crazy.

"Yeah, and what do you mean I 'failed' that guy was extremely powerful! He had like, the power of Yveltal or Gratinia." She was surprised that Velo was in disbelief.

Velo wasn't taken in by the Sylveons 'lie'. "Mhm yeah sure, if you were her you probably would've hit me or punch me by now."

"Do I really seem like the type of pokemon to do that?" She looked at Velo seriously, tapping her front legs as she's waiting.

"You really do, you wouldn't let a civilian trash talk about you if you were that pokemon now would you?" He sat on his hind legs and crossed his front legs. She facepalmed as she walked away from him. "What did I do?" As he went back on all fours and followed her.

Juno looked at the Jolteon with a slightly smug look on her face. "So you actually will go with me so you don't feel bad now would you?"

As he caught up to her he responded, "Well I'm actually following you for a reason."

She looked at him with a concerned look, "And that is?"

"Your clothing." He said blankly

"Wh-What's wrong with it?" She kinda was suspicious of what he was about to say.

He sighed and glared at her, "You don't know how you do?" Juno responded to him with a nod. "Great. To put it simply, those clothes you're wearing are too small, and if you haven't noticed guys have been looking at you." As he looked at a random male pokemon that was giving Juno the 'looks'.

"Awww so you're jealous of others looking at me is that it?~" As Juno tried teasing him again.

"No, it's because your butt is showing, you idiot." He said it blankly, as Juno's face went red. "Ironic." Velo rolled his eyes and kept walking to a clothing store that is seen from a distance. "What's wrong?" He looked at Juno.

"N-Nothing!" As she caught up to Velo, she got her composure back to normal, "I never asked for your name, what was it?" She tried to make eye contact with him.

"It's… Velo." He stayed quiet for a bit when he said his name.

"Relo?" She asked.

"Nono, it's Velo my 'parents'." He felt vomiting, "My name, 'Velo' that they gave me is a short word for 'velocity' and it's kinda like a short word for speed."

"Oh… that's a nice name." As she smiled at him.

"What's with the sudden mood change?" He looked at her suspiciously.

"Oh! S-Sorry, I'm just- or- I don't know." She sighed, "I went shopping two years ago, so I'm a bit rusty." Juno scratched her head, frowning.

"Eh, it's fine." He shrugged, "Also the whole thing about me being sad or depressing, I really wasn't, I just didn't have the money to buy the items I needed." Velo sighed as they're almost at the clothing store.

Juno wasn't surprised, "Oh I could buy it for you if you want me to-"

"No, it'd be expensive, about 10 platinum coins to be exact." He shrugged.

She was extremely shocked at the fact it costed platinum coins even for her it's expensive. "Then how are you going to get 10 platinum?" Juno was curious about how he's going earn that much money.

"I have my ways." He grinned, Velo opened the door of the clothing shop. "Ladies, first." As he moved to the side. As Juno looked at him in shock. "What I have my morals."

"Well uh… thank you." As she walked in, seeing at kinds of clothing. "Umm…" As she looked at Velo.

"Don't tell me you don't have a taste in buying clothing now do you." As she nodded at him, he facepalmed and sighed, "Fine, I'll pick the clothes you can wear, if you decide to buy them." As he walked in.

"You know.. I've never really seen your face before in this town before. Are you new here?" As she looked around the shop, seeing there were different kinds of clothing.

"No, I've lived here for about a year, I just barely been noticed around." The door closed behind them as he pointed at the dressing room, "Go into there, I'll pick your clothes." She nodded at him as she walked in, he sighed at the fact that she trusts him so easily.

From what he was looking at her body, he got the proportions of her body and got the clothes for it. What he bit on was a long-sleeved henley shirt to be brown, as the skirt he got a dark blue skirt. "I'm pretty sure what she's wearing under is fine." Ignoring the fact that she was wearing underwear. As he walked to the dressing room, "Here are the clothes." he closed his eyes and peeked his head inside dropping them.

"Oh, thanks-" As she looked at him as his eyes were completely closed and seeing him walk away from the cloth that was covering her. As she changed her clothing at looked at the mirror at her appearance. She seemed to be smiling. "Hey Velo?"

"What is it?" He said.

"Are you going to be at the tournament? Or participate in it?" When she asked he didn't give her an immediate response. "Velo?" She said again.

"Oh what? Oh right, I'm not going to participate in the tournament." He lied.

"Oh? I thought you were going to be in it, don't you know the reward?" Juno questioned him.

"I do know the reward, 100 platinum coins." His voice seemed to go deeper.

"But why won't you participate?" She asked again.

"Because you will be there won't you? You'd definitely win. Besides, I'm somewhat retired to fighting." He lied again.

"I mean…" She was speechless.

Velo could feel that she feeling down if she knows if he's 'The Silent Lighting' everything in his situation would change, he would need to keep running and hiding. Velo decided to change the subject. "Well uh… Are you done? Changing I mean."

"Oh yeah I'm done." she moved the cloth that was for the dressing room. As Velo looked what she looked like.

"So?"

"So what?" She said, "What about it?"

"Do you like it or not?" As he sat on his hind legs, crossing his front legs.

"It's good actually. I'll buy it. How much does it cost in total?" As she twirled around.
As he was calculating the math in his head, "About 10 slivers. Pretty cheap," Velo sighed and glared at her. "I'm not buying for you."

Her head was sweating a bit. "I know I know." As she went back to change she saw the door opened seeing her friends.

I actually need some advice from you guys to not get sidetracked from doing these stories. So if you have an idea of what I can do irl to focus on myself and not get writer's block please tell me.
