A/N: What's up peeps… I'm just gonna leave this with you guys. I understand how important the Haku fight was but it's pointless to keep doing it ya know? It's better to just show the things that are different, starting with Sasuke. With that, let's get this show on the road.

Chapter 2:
'Fuck I feel horrible!' Mori couldn't find the strength to speak as his battle with Haku pushed him over the edge and reached its climax. His sweat dripped from his chin and he was covered in cuts. Moments ago he was even with the ice ninja because of his Shinseigan activating in his right eye.
"You are stronger… than I gave you credit for…" The masked young man said with a strained voice.
'I can't believe my Shinseigan finally activated… without this, I'd be dead…' Mori found it hard to keep standing but held his ground firmly. With his left eye closed tightly, he focused more chakra into his right eye to numb his sense of touch so he didn't have to worry about pain for the time being.
'This will be the last clash…' He took a stance and was ready to end this fight with one of his strongest attacks, while the masked fellow just stood there. The Komatsu was wondering what the boy was stalling for until said boy just ignored him and ran towards his Sensei.
'The hell?!' Before he was able to act, due to his fatigue, the masked boy was impaled by Kakashi, seemingly protecting Zabuza. 'Hmph, serves him right…' Mori made a slight chuckle and passed out, completely ignoring the cries and shouts from his teammates.
Back in the Hidden Leaf
"Ugh… my head…" Mori awoke with a slight headache. He slowly opened his eyes and took in his surroundings. The mostly white room with a rather large window was blinding, considering he had just awoken. There were two chairs for visitors and a glass of water on the bedside table for when a patient is parched.
"The hell happened to me? Am I really in the hospital?" It was almost as if the nurse heard his call when she came in through the wooden door. "Well, there's my answer." He grabbed the glass and sighed at the rather, filled-out, nurse.
"Why hello there! I'm glad to see that you're awake and well. There's someone who wants to see you." The nurse then motioned for them to come in.
"Wha-? Sasuke?!" The Uchiha just stood there with a solemn look.
"Surprised that I came to see you?"
"Not really but-" The other boy cut him off.
"Nurse, could you excuse us?"
"Sure thing! Make sure you keep your chakra reserves in consideration next time, Mr. Komatsu." After giving Mori the warning, the woman left the two boys to attend their business.
"How are you holding up buddy?" The Uchiha had an image to uphold with common people in the village. He couldn't let anyone outside of a select few see or hear how friendly he actually was with this teammate.
"Feel like I ran into a brick wall… besides that, I'm fine… how bout' you?
"It was the same after I woke up. Naruto and Sakura are doing training with Sensei right now."
"Man, I can't wait to see everyone! They're gonna be stoked when they see my new abilities!"
"We'll be leaving shortly. First, do you mind telling me what happened on that bridge? It's like you changed your fighting style instantly!" Sasuke waited for an answer.
"Well, you're no different… I saw you dodging those needles and stuff and then you-"
"But that doesn't explain how much stronger you got!" Since Sasuke was all about power, he wanted his friend to let him know as it might be a jutsu that would help him kill his brother. "If that was a jutsu, then I'd like to learn it."
"Well, that wasn't a jutsu. I awakened my family's bloodline. It only happened in my right eye though, so I have to shut my other so I can focus better.. Yours looks cooler." This seemed to appease his friend just a bit, but he was still curious as to what it looked like.
"Could you let me see it? I'm interested in what it looks like. I couldn't get much of a view from when we were fighting."
"Sure. I would like to measure your Sharingan up close though." Mori, being as analytical as he was, could barely contain his excitement.
"Hmph, very well." Sasuke smirked and his eyes went through a pretty drastic change, changing from the usual black to a bloody red. "Pretty cool right?"
"Hell yeah!" Mori, completely forgetting that he was in a hospital for who knows how long, hastily gets pumped. "That thing gives you, like a future sight, right?"
"It's more than that! It lets me copy jutsu and other really cool things!" At this point, Sasuke was just brimming with positivity due to his friend's fascination with his doujutsu. "Now stop stalling! Show me yours!"
"Alright, alright." Mori sat on the bed with his legs crossed. "My mom explained to me a long time ago that when our Shinseigan activates the first time, it feels like there are gears turning in our brains, and yeah, she was right. After the first time, you just need to concentrate and calm your mind. Watch…"
"Hmm…"
Mori closes his eyes and puts his hands together to meditate.
"Hey, could you cover my left eye with my headband?" Sasuke remembered that he needed his opposite eye closed to focus so he did what his buddy asked without too much of a thought. "Thanks." After a few seconds, his right eye opened to reveal his yellow, star-shaped pupil.
"Whoa! That's pretty cool looking. I don't know, it's probably as cool as mine." He smirked. "Well, Kakashi Sensei is doing a special training regimen today, one is for me and you, and the other is for the idiot and loudmouth."
This got Mori to snicker. "Pfft! You're too much dude."
"Yeah yeah, let's get going."
"Alright, I'll meet you there in about 25 minutes. I need to change and talk to my mom."
"Gotcha." Sasuke left and let his friend change.
Outside of the Hospital
Mori left the double doors with his mildly torn black jumpsuit and his red sash. "Whew, it's great to be in what you're used to." He punches his hands together and ties his headband onto his neck. 'Mom's gonna be so proud!'
He began jumping from building to building to get to his house as quickly as possible. Upon landing in front of the door, his mom came blazing through it, with her Shinseigan active.
"MORI!" She quickly gave him a bone-crushing hug. "You don't know how much I've missed you, my baby boy!" He was struggling to find the strength to get away from his monstrously strong mother. "You little rat!" She bonked him on the head. "You should've been more careful! Damn idiot!" This was the side of his mom that really scared him, but he never had to deal with it for too long as he learned how to get out of situations like this.
"Mom- I can explain! I got my Shinseigan in my right eye!" This changed the mother's mood instantly.
"REALLY! OOOH LEMME SEE!" She basically went right back to crushing him before she let him go because he was choking. "Whoops… Sorry."
"Ahem! It's fine mom… Anyway, why do you have yours active?"
"I do? Oops, it's like second nature." The woman deactivated her kekkei genkai.
"Whew, thought my life was about to end…"
"It will if you keep stalling!" She went back to being a brute.
"Okay, Okay! Look." He clears his mind and then opens his right eye to show his yellow, star-shaped pupil. "Sick right?"
"Aaah! Very sick!" She ruffled his hair. "Good work… I'll have to train you even harder now that you've got that dangerous thing! We're going to work on getting you that second one." Her talk about training reminded Mori that he had someplace to be.
"Oh, mom. Kakashi Sensei needs me at the training grounds for some kind of special training."
"Oh alright… You make this old hag sad every time you go…" She teased him.
"See you later tonight mom!" They hugged and he left for the training grounds.
Training Grounds
"Where is he? You said 20 minutes right?" The one-eyed Jonin questioned the Uchiha.
"He said it wouldn't take him that long… Hmm… Wait- I think I hear him!"
There was a loud rustling in the bushes and before they knew it, Mori landed right in front of them.
"How's it shakin'?" Kakashi and Sasuke looked at Mori with confusion because of his damaged clothing. "What's wrong?"
"Your clothes are-" Kakashi paused for a moment. "Ah never mind."
"Hmm… That was weird, Sensei. If you're talking about the rips and stuff on my abdominal area, then it's fine. I actually think it makes my outfit a lot cooler."
"Ugh… Now I have a student who's more focused on making a fashion statement…"
"Come on now Kakashi, you know he isn't like that. Now, are we going to get started on this training or what?" Sasuke was getting tired of all this procrastination.
"Oh right. I'm going to be training you two different than the other two. Mori, I'm going to make a clone that is going to teach you how to use a certain lightning-style jutsu. Sasuke, I'll be training you and your Sharingan. Understood?"
"Yes." They shout in unison.
"Very good. Now, Mori, you wait here. Sasuke, follow me." They separate and eventually a clone comes back for Mori to give him a vigorous training session.
"Mori, we will be training until the morning. You better prepare yourself for a tough lesson."
"Yes, Sensei." With that, their training begins.
About 8 hours later
"Ah jeez… Phew… Gimme a break Sensei, I need to catch my breath…" Mori was aggravated and hungry. He even considered deactivating his Shinseigan. "A-are you even sure that this is even necessary? I'm easily top 5 in hand to hand in the village without my thingy so this lightning sword or blade or whatever seems like overkill! I'm 90% sure I can't even do it!"
"Hmm, you have a point…" Kakashi began thinking. "Well, we can get you to create your own jutsu then, seeing as your clan is heavily focused on hand to hand and adapting, what do you think will be the best?"
"Hmm… C'mon, think!" Mori looked through the depths of his mind and struggled to find what he wanted until he thought about a conversation he had with his mom a long time ago.
Flashback
"Hey, mom? What was dad like?"
"Your dad? He was rowdy, kinda like you ya little rat."
"Was he strong?"
"Strong? The strongest Shinseigan user yeah, and he had a big brain that pushed him to so many victories, I've lost count." She pulled the boy into her lap. "He had the most unique techniques ever. He was the coolest! Easily his best attack was his invisible punch!"
"A-an invisible punch?! How'd he do that?" Mori was completely invested in this now.
"He explained it perfectly to me and made me promise only to teach it along with his other attacks to our child. But that was before everyone died out…" The woman frowned but her son cheered her up quickly. "Oh, right! This attack can't be copied by the Sharingan, and we're the last two of our clan so it's safe to use around anyone, but only use it when you are absolutely sure you won't miss. Mess this up and you lose the element of surprise in a one-on-one."
The boy shook his head to indicate that he was listening and got off of his mother so she could show him all the cool attacks she was talking about. She took him into the backyard and told him to step back as these attacks were dangerous and really one-time uses if you were to miss any of them.
"Alright son, get ready. I'll teach you the secrets of our clan's most powerful attacks. First up's the punch and this one is a lot easier to use but harder to make lethal unless you aim for the heart specifically." She put her left foot forward and cocked her right fist back at her waist.
"You want to make sure you have at least one of your Shinseigan active too. I'll only use one so it's fair to you." She activates her right eye.
"You need to focus chakra into the front of your fist and into your feet to reduce friction and lastly push chakra into your eyes to increase accuracy and sight altogether. Now comes the hard part." She visualizes what she wants to come out and thinks only for the shockwave to carve the shape of her fist into the target. "Visualize your attack as a drill that won't stop until it destroys its target, then release." She punches with such a force that when the attack hits its target, it ends up going through more than just the target and the tree, creating a part in the little stream they had and destroying a rock on the other side.
"Whoa! So cool! Can I be that cool one day mom?" The little boy was mesmerized by his mother's strength and looked up to her for every little thing.
"Of course! You just gotta train harder than you are now! Train your little heart out when you get your Shinseigan and everything else will just get easier with time." She rubs his head.
"You're the coolest mom!"
"Thanks ya little rat! You're the coolest kid!" They both give each other a toothy grin.
Flashback end
"Sensei! I just remembered something I can practice!"
"Really? And what would that be?" Kakashi was a little excited to see what a low jutsu using clan can use.
"It's something that only my mom can do, but now since I have my Shinseigan, I can do it too!" He tries mimicking what his mom did in his memory and held the same stance. "It's a punch with enough destructive force to rip through basically anything if you're strong enough. It relies heavily on the Shinseigan's power too." Kakashi was a little perplexed by this but decided that he'd listen more before questioning.
"And then I think you push the chakra to the front of your fist and to your feet?" He waits to get the proper feel for it. "Eyesight, then- HAH!" When nothing happened, Mori looked confused and a little angry. "What the? It's supposed to go right through the tree!" He walks up to the tree and repeats what he did, but this time he physically punches the tree, decimating it.
"Hey, don't beat yourself up on only the first attempt. Keep trying. You'll get it eventually." Kakashi found this to be perfect so he pulled out his book and began reading. 'Great, he's giving me a reason to finish this now.'
Next Morning
Mori was huffing and puffing due to the strain he was putting on himself. "D-damnit! Why?! Why won't this blasted thing work?! I just want to punch a fucking hole in this tree!" He takes one last swing and this time he actually makes a dent in the tree. "The hell?! When I yell at it, it wants to break?!" He thought about it for a quick second and it dawned on him that he forgot the whole drill and destruction bit. "Wow… I'm such an idiot…" Before he collapsed to the ground, his Sensei caught him and propped him against a tree.
'They're all giving everything for this training… Especially this one… Hmm, maybe I should tell them all this afternoon.' Satisfied with all of his students' progress, he decides to take a nap himself. 'Let's see how they handle the Chunin exams…'
A/N: So? How was it? Hope y'all enjoyed it! Please leave a review.
