Chapter-2 a battle
Location-magaret town
Romeo walked out of the train station in magaret town and surveyed the area he remembered reading about the place in his school books
Margaret Town is one of the major cities in Fiore, housing a significant population, gaining its reputation as a home to one of Fiore's strongest guilds, Lamia Scale. The town is located by a river which separates the town in 2 major parts which are connected by a bridge. Such position also puts an emphasis on boats as means of transportation
He opened the map his parents gave him
From what he saw the place he was supposed to go was in the north-west of the city
He then proceeded his journey to the 'seed's reform school' it was a school for young offenders like him from what he heard these kind of places had a bad reputation of child abuse, sexual assaults and such
But from what he heard about the seed's school it was a nice place for kids with mental issues and kids who go there when return end up being a total different human being in a good way
"hey boy you wanna go somewhere" he heard someone call from his side
He looked at his side and saw a old man In the boat on the river
"well yeah I will like to go here'' He said as he handed him down the map
"ahh well I can drop you there'' the old man said as he took the boat closer to the wooden plat form, and romeo got in it

There was silence until romeo decided to ask a question "so, magaret town has this cab service of boats?''
"yea we do, most of commission from travelers here for a visit'' the old man answered
"So, you are attending the 'seed's reform' school?''
"Yes I am''
"Are yo-"
"Yes I am a young offender myself'' romeo quickly and coldly answered the question interrupting the man

There was another round of silence between the old man and the young boy before the old man asked a question again
"what kind of stunt did you pulled'' he asked rather curiously romeo noted
"oh well I have been fighting the delinquents and the gangs at my hometown for almost three years now'' romeo told the man
The man couldn't help but get a shocked look get over his face
And he looked the boy with the same shocked face and asked
"didn't your parents said anything upto now''
'Not like they really care' he thought "well I covered it up really good….but when I beat up those 50 guys a little over a week a ago after that I couldn't hide it and well, now I am here'' he told the old man
"I got quite reputated in the town because of that too'' romeo further went and a proud smile came to his face feeling very proud of his accomplishments

There was yet another round of silence but the old man asked on last question
"Where are you from''
"Magnolia"
"huh" the old man exclaimed quietly it was known that magnolia had quite a lot of gangs that being because it was only a few hours from Hargeon the biggest port in fiore so naturally there was a lot of smugglings and even human trafficking done there and there were a lot shops and businesses there for the tourists and sailors
So, most gangs if they had to carry out there 'business' if they wanted to get their stuff delivered to their clients from a place that was safe for them and good to escape magnolia was the place as it had almost everything there was needed to act hidden
long canals where you can transport heavy boxes filled with anything no one cares. Check
Buildings with rooftops that were best for parkour and narrow lanes and path ways between building to lost someone chasing you if caught. Check
A dense forest from where you can go stealthily and disappear in the night. Check
So likely a lot of the criminals sent their men to have residence in magnolia and likewise a few local rising stars have formed gangs of their own to counter them
And after awhile the old man said they were at their destination and dropped him on nearest wooden platform showed him to where he has to walk to get to seed's reform school
Romeo took his luggage and he hears as few whispers that he was able to hear thanks to his senses that he honed in his training after totomaru told him it could be useful in battle and sure as hell was it helpful
"quite a pretty boy'' a woman commented
"look at those muscles and massive shoulders that guy is jacked" another woman commented
"sure as hell don't wanna mess with him" a young man whispered to his friend
"you said it, that guy must be a wizard or something" his friend said quietly
And there were a few girls his age and older
That threw him a few quick glances and some turned their heads behind when he walk past them
Romeo surveyed his surroundings he found a building while on his way to the lamia scale guild building
Romeo heard the news that there was a young female god-slayer in lamia scale here name was chellia atleast a year older than him a prodigy in magic considered by the magic council themselves and thought b and thought by many to be the strongest rookie in Fiore
Now romeo here loved to battle and someone near his age and said to be the strongest in the country and just a few steps away it almost seemed unreal, he wasn't going to let such a opportunity just go by reform school can wait a bit
So, he quickly made his way to the guild building by jumping over the river last was between them and knocked the guild doors
When the guild door opened it showed to be a short man with thickest eyebrows romeo had seen and a pony tail he wore
"come in" the short man said
In the guild of lamia scale there was currently at a guild meeting with blue Pegasus and the 'trimens' minus ren were currently in a table with toby, ichiya and jura were currently talking and ren and sherry were in a corner table chatting and lyon and chellia were in the bar table chellia telling lyon all about her latest mission
"hello, are you here to join the guild'' the man asked romeo looking upto him romeo being in the least 5 inches taller
"who is at that yuka" a toby asked
"maybe you have new recruit'' hibiki lates said
"no,I am a challenger'' romeo replied

There was silence a lot of mages of blue Pegasus and lamia scale were looking at him with stares mostly of surprised seeing his bluntness and in their was shelia blendy who romeo was gonna challenge , then jura of the ten wizard saints asked
"and who would you challenge" the wizard saint asked looking at the guy somehow he felt a darkness from the boy
Romeo looked at the wizard saint that was on the left behind a few tables
"your god-slayer chellia Blendy" he said with a tone of respect that unlike his usual cold tone
This causes a lot of the attention to go now to the young god-slayer, who yelps of surprise by the sudden attention
"a challenge for me'' she asks out from her position near lyon
"what do you say chelia'' an old lady and a middle age looking bald man coming from the second floor of the building called out
"obaba'' lot of the lamia scale mages exclaimed
"she is your guild master?'' romeo asked the doggish looking guy now having entered the building
"yes she is our guildmaster and she spins us whenever she is angry, oon'' the doggish guy replied
"what did you say toby" the old lady screeched then lift her finger and started spinning toby
"somebody heeeellllppppp meeeeee" oby cried out
"is it always like this" romeo asked yuka
"Yep''
And after she was done with spinning poor toby she gave a glance at romeo
Meanwhile romeo didn't even budge from his place
"what if we refuse'' she asked
"I will be out on my way'' romeo replied with the same respectful tone he used with jura, he might want to have a fight but it didn't mean he was going to have it forced he wasn't like that he respected his opponents will
'the boy gives me a vibe darkness…..which I have never felt before'' guildmaster of lamia scale thought
She looked at chelia who seemed to be in thought
"choice is your's if you wanna accept it go ahead if not its alright''
"are you sure you can fight chellia is very strong" sherry asked
"you are so caring,…. Its almost annoying'' ren akatsuki said in his usual tsundere fashion making many sweatdrop
"wait aren't you guys engaged'' romeo asked
Everyone turned towards romeo so fast one would think romeo would be blown back by the stares
"how do you know that'' ren asked surprised which he hadn't felt In a long time
"yea how did you know'' lyon asked too from the table he and chellia were sitting
"well both you are wearing matching engagement rings'' he replied "and the fact that I smell men's perfume from miss blendy says both you have been in bodily-" he was interrupted by the flustered couple
"alright we get it" both of them screamed out loudly having prominent blushes on their faces
"wait how did you know about miss blendy part'' eve tearm asked
"well both of them have quite a lot of similarities" romeo told the Pegasus
'this kid is observant and deductive' all the people thought amazed
"well please take the decision quick I have a place to visit" romeo told chelia looking at her with his cold eyes and the tone now cold too
'cold' chelia thought
"of course I will fight you I will fight any one who challenges me and I will defeat them all" she said excitedly she had seen a few people come by and challenge jura and lyon and that's why she knew she shouldn't underestimate anyone she once thought she would have challengers too and the day was finally here
"just after a little walk there is a open field from where the forest begins you can fight there" jura said
And then the 'trimens' sherry, yuka, toby, lyon and their respective guild masters
Scene break
and after a tense 20 minutes they were at their location
And both the young mages faced each other both standing almost by a distance of 50 meters
Both got into their battle stance chelia getting in a simple battle stance
And romeo made the first move by covering his forearms and calves in blue fire
And dashing towards chellia at a fast speed impossible by humans and when he covered half the distance he pushed his legs harder breaking the ground and launching himself towards chellia who wasn't fast enough to dodge but to block as she put her arms in a blocking position as romeo's fiery arm makes contact
As the punch makes contact romeo uses his whole body's strength and that results in chellia being pushed backed taking damage
Chellia nurses her arms and groans in pain "I didn't expeted it to be this strong" she thinks
She jumps in air and a magic circles appears in her palm and black wind generates in her palm as he extends towards romeo's location
"sky god's aura" she casted her spell and the spiral of black winds are launched towards romeo
Romeo meanwhile does the rainbow fire sign and extends his free arm to wards the incoming attack
"emerald shot" romeo said as a magic circle appeared in his open hand and a a green fireball the size of a basket ball shot towards the black winds
The two attacks met and it created a mini explosion and also caused a cloud of dust to erupt
Chellia landed on the ground and looked because of the cloud of dust she could see her opponent she summoned a current of black wind and launched it towards the cloud
When the dust flew away her opponent wasn't there
'where did he go' she thought looking around to find her opponent
But then she heard the noise of fire raging (or whatever sound that comes from fire)
And when she looked above her an she saw romeo flying towards her in kicking position with his foot covered in green flames
Chellia had time to dodge the attack by hopping backwards,
And when romeo's foot came in contact with ground it left a good 2 meter crater
'so strong' chellia thought she didn't knew how good she would have lasted after getting that strike
"damn look at that crater" yuka said shocked
"what power at such a age" ichiya said
"I have never seen that kind of magic before" toby said
"it is a type of fire magic" jura began " it is called emerald blaze it is stronger and more rare it is created by taking in the concept of taking a small amount of magic and superheating it to the limit and then also adding some nature energy into in" jura explained
"What is nature energy" eve asked and almost everyone wondered the same thing
"It is a term" bob said "it is a term used for magic energy which flows in the surroundings and almost everywhere" bob explained " it is more stronger than our own body's magic and it takes a lot magic control and mental capacity to achieve it"

There was silence until toby asked
"so the boy's magic is stronger than chellia"
That should done it planning and writing fighting sequences is harder than I thought
This chapter is to basically to give you guys a little explanation of romeo's personality
He is cold, calm and carefree to a degree and he also is very observant and deductive not a Sherlock though, he also gives respect to those he should give and he is polite and he respects his others will and won't force someone to do something even his opponents and he loves to battle
