Well, well, well. Look at that. I had time to make Chapter 2. It took a bit of time to come together. I hope everything flows well together and you can get the movie-ish feeling in your mind like I did when writing this chapter.
I do not Pokemon. all the rights go to their respective owners and creators.

Flying through the dimension of Space in his dragon form, Ash headed in the direction of Palkia's Castle. He sensed that something was indeed wrong. When he first visited the Space Dimension, the amount of chaos that flowed through the dimension made it unbearable to him. He was even beginning struggling to breathe. It felt like being tossed and turned in a fast-flowing current in the depths of the oceans where one of his brethren rested.
'Ugh, the amount of chaos here is awful! Everything is distorted here, so much that I don't think my powers will work here as much. Looks like I need to rely on brute strength alone… What exactly are you doing Palkia?
Seeing a magnificent medieval castle peering over the horizon, Ash increased his pace. After landing on the main courtyard, he was greeted by silence. The pillars towered over his dragon form and as he shifted to his human form, they became even bigger.
'This must be what it feels like to be a Joltik huh…' Ash thought. He proceeded forward, eyes scanning anything that might be suspicious. The first area he entered appeared to be the courtyard, ponds symmetrically stationed on both sides of the pathway, but the water was murky and could filthy. Not even a magikarp could possibly survive in those conditions, and those things could live anywhere. Plants and what were supposed to be flowers the walled the pathway and hugged the castle walls, but they looked is if they were ready to decompose and wither away into nothing. As he entered the main halls, the room's blackened aura surrounded it entirely. Moving his hand to his diamond embedded chest, he conjured draconic energy from it to his hand. A bright light formed. Ash breathed heavily as the light formed in his hand for him to use.
There is just too much chaos here, I don't know how this light will last. I got to find a place that does not have so much of this chaos. I need to find Palkia, quickly!' Ash thought. Using the light to scan the room, Ash spread the light. He was met with everything being in ruins. The chandelier was spread out on the ground, shattered. The candles were blown out, the entirety of the long carpet looked as if had not been walked on for eons. Palkia's throne, made of entire pearl, looked as if it was rusting.
Cringing past the main hall, he decided to levitate himself to the main room where Palkia would reside to slumber. He entered a large hallway. Large doors meant for his dragon form hugged the walls. There were so many. At the end of the hallway stood the most luxurious, or what was a luxurious door, carved with the symbol of Palkia. A large circle that was surrounded by large magenta curved rectangles, similar to his "brother's" shoulders where his pearls resided.
Quickly making his way over to the door, he tried to push the doors open, but the doors wouldn't budge! Growling lowly, he pushed harder and harder, but to no avail. Frustrated, he focused all his strength and pushed. The force he exerted was so much the floor tiles started to crack and his feet began to dig in. 'Palkia's world must really be dampening my power. Come on u stupid door, budge!' Ash thought in anger.
Seeing that there was no use continuing he stopped to take and took a step back. Studying the walls looking for any way instead. Finally, seeing no way in he decides to get his brother's attention the hard way.
"Palkia, open up! What is going on here!? Palkia!" Ash yelled at the door. In anger, he formed his hand into a fist, and pushed the door as hard as he could. A small crater formed under his fist. The door responded with silence. Turning to walk away, the slow, creaking of the metal hinges screeched. Turning around quickly he waited for enough room to get inside.
Suddenly, a beam of energy blasted at ash, taking the brunt of the attack full on. He was blown to the back of the hallway and slammed down to the main hall. Clutching his chest in pain, he struggled to get up without being in pain. 'Okay, that is the last time I do anything that involves Palkia's realm. Arceus can get Giratina to do it next time. Ahh, that hurts like hell.' Ash grumbled. Motioning to regain his feet under him, he fell over and coughed, blood starting to run down the side of his cheek. Wiping it away he had to get prepare for the worst. Finally getting up on his feet while grunting in pain, he got into a defensive stance, putting out the sword from its holster on his back, preparing himself for a fight. He clutched his chest with left hand, protecting his precious diamond embedding in his body.
Floating down the hall in a slow and menacing speed, a white skinned bipedal creature emerged. It had a long neck attached to a massive muscular body. On both of its shoulders, were large lavender-pale gems, one on both sides, and magenta markings surrounding the gem, as if it were protecting them. Its large powerful feet slammed onto the ground with a large thud that shook the palace. Under the sides of its chin were to large, curved spikes. Layers of teeth hung from inside its mouth. Its red eyes looked as if rage was fueling them, being a blood red color. The wings on its back folded but were ready in need be. A large single fin ran from the top if its head and split off into its two wings. It had a tail that, if swung, can topple mountains with one swing. Overall, this was definitely a beast you would not want to face when it was angry. but here was Ash, being thrown right into the middle of it.
"Palkia, what are you doing its me, Dialga! Stop this madness and end this at once!" Ash screamed at the beast. In return, Palkia gave out its signature and devastating roar. The force of the roar nearly knocking over our protagonist over, but standing is ground in defiance. "If that is how it much be, brother… Then I WILL KNOCK SOME SENSE INTO YOU!"
In a flash of light, Ash charged into Palkia's stomach shoulder first. The beast's eyes opened wide as the pain was afflicted upon him and the wind was knocked right out of him. Knocking his brother on his back, Ash jumped right to the head of Palkia, readying to deliver a hard punch to its face, but was instead met when Palkia widened him mouth and fired a powerful Dragon Pulse point blank into his opponent. Unable to brace himself in time, he took the full brunt of the beam of draconic energy. He was knocked right into the ceiling of the main hall, making an indent of his human body in the ceiling itself, before falling to the ground.
Slowly getting up and in pain, he noticed that he lost his sword in the fray, quickly looking for his weapon, but was quickly cut off when a roar from Palkia erupted. Ash's eyes darting up quickly up and in horror as the elbow left pearl of Palkia started to absorb essence around it. Knowing he was in danger, Ash quickly, and painfully, jumped out of the way of Palkia's signature attack: Special Rend.
Palkia shot the energy charged from his elbow in a downward strike, sending the powerful move at his attacker. Ash summersaulted to the left and narrowly dodged the attack, which would have had devastating results. He dove behind a pile of rubble and regained his breath and thoughts.
This isn't going well. After fighting him a dozens of times, Palkia is never is THIS strong. He must be affected by something. By what? How do I calm him down? Ugh, that Dragon Pulse is going to hurt in the morning. Damn you Arceus!' The Time Lord thought to himself. Looking over the rubble, he saw his sword stuck under a fallen pillar behind the Lord of Space. Gritting his teeth together, he jumped out from his hiding place quickly ran towards his weapon. Just as he jumped, a beam of energy collided with the stones, completely disintegrating into pebbles. 'Damn, that was too close!'
Dodging Dragon Pulses, weaving his way through the battlefield, he vaulted over some rubble, sliding under fallen pillars, anything to avoid being hit and get to his weapon, his resolve was set. He was going to help his brother, even if it meant the destruction of his own soul.
Noticing the time of the attacks increased in between each, Ash looked over to Palkia and saw heavy panting. Palkia was getting tired. That was an opening for Ash, so taking a risk which he hoped didn't backfire, he rushed the space dragon. Jumping and maneuvering over rubble like a stairway, he took one final leap of faith, just as he dodged another bean of draconic energy. Landing on top of Palkia's shoulder, he reared back his fist and as Palkia roared in defiance…
WHAM! He delivered a haymaker to the enraged titan's face that knocked his head sideways. Beginning to feel Palkia was falling over, Ash jumped from his temporary perch down to the ground, in the superhero landing pose.
"I'm the best" the Lord of Time claimed.
The Lord of Space only grunted in response in a low dragon growl. Turning to see his work, he gave a small frown. "Sorry about that brother, but you needed a good ass-kicking." he said. Ash then turned around and walked over to the rubble holding his sword.
Grabbing the fallen pillar that was the prison of his weapon, he lifted it slowly, trying no to hurt himself more than he already was. He tossed it to the side and just as he was about to pick it up, a familiar screech filled his ears. He turned around quickly and saw that not only was Palkia already getting back on his feet but eyeing him with fury. Picking up his blade by the handle, he uses it to block a Dragon Pulse that headed his way. The pulse bounced off his blade and was reflected right back to sender. Palkia gets hit right dead center of his chest and screamed in agony, falling over yet again. Ash knew he had to end this fight quickly. The effects of the Space Dimension were really starting to take a toll on him. He jumped after the beast and taking his sword, he placed it back it its holster over his back. With both hands, he grabbed the space dragon's tail and lift. With his weakened state, it he put every ounce of the last of his strength. He slammed Palkia into the floor, causing the tiles that were not cracked already to shatter.
But he was not done. Ash swung his brother through a pillar that was standing, headfirst. And he found another and did it again. And with one final war cry, the Lord of Time swung Palkia right into his throne. The water/dragon Legend now rested on his authority and appeared to be knocked out.
Panting in exhaustion and periodically coughing up small amounts of blood Ash limped over to a wall near the entrance of the castle and observed the mischief that just occurred.
The castle was in complete ruins. Pillars had fallen over and shattered, the floor was destroyed. The a few walls were crumbled, and pieces of wall and pillar littered the floor. A simple mission turning into a massive warzone. What is disaster.
"Okay, screw this. After this, I'm taking a vacation. Celebi always talking how the beaches of Alola are prefect for relaxing." He closed his eyes to think. How was he going to explain this to Arceus? He was supposed to bring Palkia to him, but with more than a few bruises and lumps. But the real question was why. Why did Palkia react the way he did? What is causing the distortion of chaos here? And what the hell happened for mess to occur. He needed to get contact Arceus as soon as he regained some of his strength, knowing fully well that he could not get the Lord of Space to the Hall of Origins on his own in his current state. A couple of days on the ocean's side a Kelpsy Berry smoothie to go along with it and Ash would be back to normal in no time.
"I must admit, you are quite powerful, Time dragon…" a voice echoed though the destroyed palace. "Powerful indeed, but still you have much to learn, my Lord."
Started, Ash's eyes shot open wide and scanned the room. This was impossible. There should only be two beings in the entire Space Dimension; Palkia and himself. Who was this voice?
"Who are you…" the Lord of Time muttered.
"Isn't that something that you would like to know? So, you can go back to your "god" and tell him all about me. No, I will keep that bit of information to myself. But I do want you to tell Arceus this. It is time for the end of all humanity. Those disgusting, sickening creatures that are ruining a perfect world. Where all Pokemon can live without fear of being enslaved to the demons you dearly protect. With the power of your brother, I now have access of the multiverse at my fingertips." Boomed the voice in a low, but vile voice. "but we need not be enemies, Dialga, and together we can restore the universe to a paradise where all Pokemon can live free and healthy lives!"
Standing up slowly, Ash peered around the room, giving a toothy, and confident grin, he reached for his blade. "As much as that offer sounds tempting, I have another better offer. Instead, how about you come out of hiding and show yourself and we can settle this is in a more 'diplomatic' approach."
"… Very well…" the being laughed and emerged from the shadows, deciding to humor the legend in human form. Floating above him menacingly, eyes, stared blankly at him. Having no eye lids, and multiple pyramids like irises, it trying to intimidate Ash.
The greatest feature it had was that it was entirely pitch black, making it perfect to blend into the night. I had a large, long head with three large spikes the protruded backwards, resembling the shape of a prism. It arms were thin like twigs, but at the end were what appeared to be hands that were twice the size Ash's human form was. Its black body in the shape of a pyramid, and short black legs, both had 2 hooks like appendages on its shins. Two marble like spikes, one on each hand, were translucent white at the beginning and slowly turned pitch back at their tips, and three sharp deadly claws. Everything with this creature was in perfect symmetry. Like a bunch of shapes put together, but perfectly.
What the hell what this… thing!?
"You must be the one causing all of this chaos here. Why?"
"I want to make a world where Pokémon can live peacefully. A better world. One where Arceus does not slumber away and leave everyone to fend for themselves in that cold dark and cold hellish world. I would love to extend that offer to you too Dialga. Image, a perfect world where there is no suffered under human control, where the Legnds do not need to hide, where we could all live in peace. So, what do you say, my lord, care to join me on that quest?" the being motioned one of its massive hands as reaching for him.
"Even if I were to believe you, I still would not join you. I mean, making me and my brother fight like it is a fight to the death. No thank Asshole. Instead, how about I beat the breaks off you can bring you before Arceus? Yeah, I like that plan a lot better. Hehehe." Ash smirked.
The being retracted its hand and turned around and started to float away. And creature put both hands behind his back and sighed. "I'd figure you wouldn't see reason and not join our cause. Such a terrible shame, but now that you know of my plans, I'm going to make sure you do not get in the way."
"I can't die you know. Legends like me are immortal, or have you forgotten?"
"No, I am fully aware of your immortality, but that does not mean that you cannot suffer extreme amounts of pain," it turned around halfway. "I'm just stalling…"
Palkia roared in fury, as it finally got up. Now charging as much energy as he could to squash this intruder, his pearls on both arms glowing with blinding light as they absorbed everything they could. Palkia rocked both of his arms back, and swung down with all his might, forming and cross of Special Rend. Eye widening of the imminent danger, Ash used everything he had left to get out of the way. But it was too late as Ash was hit by the edge of the Special Rend, and was blasted from out of the castle, through the multiple walls and near the ledge of the island the castle resided. The dragon of space walked up to where Ash had landed and violently picking him put, Palkia charged a beam of energy and fired it into the chaos driven world, opening a portal.
"You fought valiantly to try to awaken your brother from my control, but you were too weak to break my control over him. I'm surprised that you do not remember me as we clashed all those years ago, but that does not matter now. I am sending you to the human world Your power regenerates much slower there, so there you shall reside, to watch as my plans unfold, and maybe you shall see reason. Goodbye, Ash Ketchum…"
The space dragon violently hurled him through the portal. With that complete it was time for the next phase of his plan. Humanity's time was finally coming to an end. All thanks to that "Aether Foundation" that released him from the hell Arceus imprisoned him all those eons ago, but first he needed light to feed on. The time for the Ultra Beasts was now. The Era of Necrozma begins!
