Chapter Two, Roommates and ID's. -

Annabeth's POV

I pull up into a parking space outside of the Mythology University school gates and got out of the car.

"I can't wait," I say to Piper and Hazel.

They took it all in. There were many people walking around and talking and since Annabeth had to get there early it wasn't too busy yet. One of the RA's walked up to them, holding a clipboard and said, "Hey! Welcome to Mythology University. I'm Katie, what are your names?"

"I'm Piper McLean and this is Annabeth Chase and Hazel Levesque," says Piper while pointing to us.

"Okay, Piper and Annabeth you guys are in the Greek dorm and Hazel you're in the Roman dorm." She handed them all a piece of paper. "If you go to the dorm buildings there will be a RA outside to register you, and give you your key. They will also give you an information leaflet that will have everything you need on it, as well as the times of the tours. If you miss one there will always be another. Do you have any questions?"

"No," we reply and set off.

"Bye Hazel," Piper and I say before we walked to our building.

"Here it is," I said and pointed to the building in front of us.

"Goodbye Will." The RA waved to the blonde boy as he walked away. "Hi! I'm Charles, what are your names?"

"I'm Annabeth Chase," I say.

"And I'm Piper McLean," Piper continues on.

"Okay …" Charles marked their names off. "You're both in single gender rooms?"

"Yep," Annabeth confirmed, nodding.

"Good, both of you are in 1A / Athena. Here are your keys, go see Silena over there for your keys." Charles handed them both a leaflet and pointed to Silena.

Piper and I walk over to Silena.

"Rooms," Silena asked. "Oh, Pipes, it's you and Annabeth, 1A / Athena right?"

"Yeah."

Silena dug through the first tray of keys out of two and handed us both envelopes. "First tour is in half an hour, guys."

"Let's see our room," Piper said. "Then we can get our bags. I wanna see if any of our roommates are there."

They walked into the building to see a common room and a set of stairs, next to the set of stairs was a sign saying dorms with an arrow pointing up. The pair of them rushed up stairs to find three rooms and another set of stairs. The three signs on the doors said:

Piper and I walked in and looked around, inspecting all the rooms. "I dibs this one," I call out.

"This is mine then," Piper replies.

We put our jumpers on the door handles of our chosen rooms and a girl with caramel hair walked in.

"Hey! I'm Piper and this is Annabeth," says Piper while pointing at me. "Who are you?"

"I'm Calypso," said Calypso.

"Do you want to do the tour with us?" I ask.

"Sure," Calypso replies. We walk out of our dorm and see Percy and his friend there.

"Hi!" says Percy. "This is Tyson, my cousin."

"We were about to go down, wanna come?" Piper asks. "Sorry, we should have properly introduced ourselves. Calypso, this is Percy and Tyson. Tyson, this is Calypso, Annabeth and myself (Piper).

"What rooms do you have?" I ask.

"I'm in 2A / Poseidon with Nico and two others, I think Leo and Will," Percy replies. "And Tyson is in 2B / Apollo with, um, Lester, Lee and Austin."

"Let's head down," says Calypso.

We walk downstairs, past the common room and out the building where we saw one of the RA's (Silena) is speaking, "I'm Silena and welcome to Mythology University!" There were a few cheers from the crowd. "I, along with Charles and Ethan," she pointed at the two RA's sitting at the registration table. "And Katie, who you'll have met at the front gate are your RA's this year. Greek dorm has three floors, the first one is a common room, the second is the girls dorms where Katie and I are the RA's and the third floor is the boys dorm where Charles and Ethan are the RA's. As we are all adults now there is no curfew, and no rules about sleeping in each other's rooms, but we do ask you to keep it down after nine o'clock, and if you're being too loud, one of us will come knocking on your door. When looking around you may have seen the common room. Once again, there is no time you have to leave it, but when in there please be respectful of each other. Some people use it to study in, so try not to be a pain in the ass. Also, the big screen in there is first come first served, but you can reserve it if you want to, just talk to your floors RA. The TV is also first come first served, but try not to hog it if it looks like other people may want to watch something else. That's all I have to say, and I will now be leading the first tour. Please make sure you're registered, and have your room key before taking a tour. If you're not registered yet, there will be many more tours to come, so you won't miss it. Let's go freshmen!"

She started to walk away and many people followed including Percy, Piper, Calypso, Tyson and I. "This is the mess hall." Silena pointed to a building with big double doors,open into a massive room full of tables and chairs, with counters and serving stations. "You can get all of your meals here, using your ID card. You need your ID card for everything, library books, food, laundry machines, do not lose it. If you do, you can get a new one from the main office, but you will need to pay a fine. You will be able to get your ID card later today, there will be stations set up in the quad. If you take a bad photo, tough. You will not be able to retake it."

Silena continued the tour, pointing out various buildings, and soon enough they ended up back where they started. "And that's that end of our tour. If anyone has any questions, the next tour isn't for a while so I'll be around until then."

"Can we get our bags now?" I asked.

"Okay," Piper groaned giving in. "Bye guys, we're getting our bags."

I bounded off in the direction of the car park and Piper ran after me. We went to my car and grabbed our bags. "Let's go take these to our dorm." I said.

"Sure," said Piper.

We walked back to our building and Piper said, "Let's check out the common room, properly, first."

It was a huge room, with stairs leading up to the second and third floors. There was a door leading outside on the opposite wall. On one side of the room, there were loads of desks for studying lining the wall. On the other there was a TV with a few couches and armchairs facing it. There were also a couple of doors, on either side of the TV. One was labeled "laundry room" and the other was labeled 'big screen'.

"Let's go upstairs now," I say.

We walked upstairs, lugging our bags, dumped them on the floors of our rooms and found a redhead in our room. She looked up and smiled, "Hey! I'm Rachel, who are you?"

"I'm Piper and this is Annabeth," Piper says. "Do you want to go down and get our ID's? Also I think I saw you on the tour before."

We walked down stairs to the courtyard where we saw Tyson, Percy and Calypso. "Hi!" I say. "Calypso, this is our final roommate, Rachel."

"We were going to get our IDs taken," Piper says. "Do you guys want to too?"

"Okay," Percy, Calypso and Tyson reply.

We walk up to one of the stands and Ethan, our RA, is there to take our photos. Piper goes first, getting a flawless photo for her ID. I'm next.

"3, 2, 1," Ethan says. "Cheese."

I smile and my photo prints out. It's okay but could have been better.

Calypso is next, she gets her photo taken with ease and it turns out stunning as well as Rachels who is next. Tyson gets a great photo done and Percy's is great too.

After everyone is done I ask, "Should we get lunch?"

"Sure," they all reply and we set off to go to the mess hall.

A/N (Authors Note) -

Thanks for such a positive response to the first chapter! I loved writing it and I will try to improve my dialogue and tenses too. Chapters 2 and 3 were written 8 months ago(ish) so they'll be worse than the rest of the story (in my opinion). Feel free to favourite, follow and review as it often makes my day!
