Petra opens her eyes. She doesn't recognize her surroundings. She notices that she can't read the local signs. She feels the ground around her and feels a rocky texture. She notices that she is on a sidewalk. She keeps looking around and can't see anybody. She looks at the sky and sees the sun. It looks to be about noon.
Petra starts walking down the street. She is confused how she even got there. The last thing she could remember was her taking a quick nap. She started feeling scared wondering if it was a nightmare. She kept on pinching herself to see if she could wake up, but it only made her feel pain.
Petra kept walking around for hours not knowing where she was going. People gave her looks and some tried to talk to her. But she couldn't understand them. It sounded like gibberish. The sun was about to set, and she still didn't know where she was.
Petra looked and finally found somewhere she could sleep at. She estimated that 6 hours have passed. Her stomach was growling, and she couldn't find food. She felt a cold breeze. She was lucky she still had her maid outfit because that was the only thing that was keeping her at an even slightly warm temperature. She felt like she was close to getting a cold. She was already starting to sneeze.
Petra hears something moving. It is in the distance, but she hears something. She ignored it. After a few minutes she hears it coming closer. She can't see anything, but she feels like something is near her, but she doesn't recognize the sound.
Petra decides to go to sleep. It would be better for her to sleep and figure out her situation the next day. And maybe she will be back in the mansion once she wakes up. She didn't know so she closed her eyes and hoped that tomorrow she would know what to do.
Petra suddenly wakes up feeling pain in her feet. She turns around and sees a metal thing crushing them. Petra screams in pain as her feet feel like they are flattening. Petra tries to crawl away, but the thing is moving forward as well. Its slow but painful. It is moving slightly faster than her crawling pace. The thing is already crushing her lower leg.
Her legs are being crushed and blood is everywhere. It's a huge pool of dark red. Her maid gown is being covered in it. The pain is unbearable, and she wished that it would have already killed her instantly. The pain only gets worse as more and more of her legs are being crushed. The sounds of her bones being crushed, her skin being ripped, and the loud beeps from the thing. Her bones slowly started resembling meat paste, her hands continue in a praying manner wishing for Subaru intervention, but she knew the truth. Her legs being crushed could be heard throughout the meadow as squelching and cracking and screaming slowly drowned the area. Blood skyrocketing out of her little body as the thing continued crushing her.
The thing was already at her knees. Petra kept screaming but she couldn't see anybody coming. Petra couldn't even begin to understand why this was happening to her. She felt terrified that her life was about to end. She wouldn't even be able to see the people she cared about and wouldn't even be able to say goodbye.
The thing reaches her hip and continues to crush her. She couldn't feel pain anymore. The adrenaline kicked in and she felt numb. She was already losing her voice from all her screaming. Her fear was the only thing that she could still feel.
The last thing Petra could feel before her heart was crushed, was her regret for not even being able to see Subaru one last time.
