A whole day had passed after the whole ship fiasco thing, the royal guard had a great night sleep but they woke up to Meruem missing which made them panic, rightfully so, and start to look around like crazy trying to find him, only for them to end up awakening Komugi
"Is it daytime already?" She said yawning right after
"Where is the king!?"
"Where did he go!?"
"Is he hurt!?"
"No that's impossible!?"
"Uhhh…" Komugi could only hear the royal guard but she was sure that they were all almost having a panic attack
"You're all up" Meruem's stoic voice was heard coming from the exit of the alleyway
"My king! Where were you!?" The three members of the royal guard said at the same time
"I went away for a while to make this" Meruem showed a hand made gungi board and gungi pieces that he made from trees and rocks for him and Komugi to play "it's a handmade gungi game"
After hearing that Komugi just sparkled, Mister Meruem liked playing with her so much that he even made a gungi game for them to play, she was close to tearing up but she was able to hold it in
"Pitou carry Komugi. You will all follow me to the place" Meruem said and Pitou immediately complied
With Pitou carrying Komugi on her back, Meruem led the way and in less than a second they were in front of the assumed base of the so-called "Fairy Tail". They saw that the door was open and decide to walk in and they saw something they didn't expect, a bunch of people fighting each other with the blonde girl from the ship fiasco yesterday, they could also see Natsu fighting a new guy with black hair and the same tattoo as Natsu but on his chest instead of his elbow, and that for some reason was only wearing his boxers, there were a lot of new people there like a big muscular man, a white-haired girl that they saw in some weird magazines on the ground while exploring the city, a woman that was just drinking a barrel full of liquid. They just keep up fighting until some giant figure punches down Natsu, but after some time reverts into a small old form.
"hehehe" Pitou couldn't hold herself and just started laughing that ended up bringing attention to them
Every one of the people in there was staring at them, some of them scared but others were intrigued by them, and the ants just stared back for a while until someone broke the silence
"What was all that noise?" Komugi said looking around a little bit startled
"It was nothing to worry about," Meruem said in his stoic tone not breaking eye contact with Fairy Tail
"Can we help you in any way?" The old man said
"Yes, you see we are lost and need a place to stay so we thought about it and decided to join this… group," Meruem said with all the seriousness in the world
The royal guard was shocked by this revelation, the king asking help from humans? Was that even possible? Wasn't it against the laws of the universe?
"Really?" The old man asked
"Yes" Meruem answered in the most serious tone possible
"He is serious!" The royal guard thought still shocked
"Well, I'm not one to refuse help to someone who needs it, and we do have a room in the back that you could stay in," the old man said surprising some people in Fairy Tail
"Thank you, kind sir," Meruem said, making the royal guard stare at him in shock, the king just thanked the old human, how is this possible?
"No problem, I'm Makarov master of the Fairy Tail guild," the old man said
"I'm Meruem and these are Pitou, Komugi, Youpi, and Pouf," Meruem said pointing to each one of them
Makarov then did a backflip and ended up hitting a fence on the upper floor but he quickly recovered, it didn't stop Pitou from laughing at it though
"You've gone and done it again, rascals! Look at all this paperwork the council sent me!" Makarov said showing the amount of paperwork in his hand "they're all complaints"
The ants were gathering some new information from this, the council was apparently a big authority in this place, they set the rules and complain when they are not followed in their eyes
"However… Screw the council!" Makarov said burning the papers and throwing them away for Natsu to eat them
Or not…
"Listen up! Magic is an unreasonable power, but is born for a reason! It's not some miraculous ability. It is the combination of the spirits that flows within us with the spirit that flows within nature itself, Incarnated into physical form! It takes a strong mind and focus! In fact, magic is pouring out of one's entire soul! We cannot progress in the way of magic by being mindful of the watchful eye from above! Be not afraid of those fools in the castle and follow the path you believe in! That's what it means to be a Fairy Tail wizard!" He said raising his hand with one finger pointing up and the rest of the wizards did the same
The ants were a little confused by the speech but they could appreciate a leader inspiring his people. They learned about this magic but they thought that their nen and nen abilities should be enough for them. Meanwhile, Komugi on the other hand was inspired by that speech and it even made her want to get even better than she already is at gungi
"Hey there," a white-haired woman holding some kind of stamp approached them "I'm Mirajane but you can just call me Mira" she smiled softly "I'm here to give you the stamp so you become an official member of Fairy Tail, please say what color and place you would like it."
"Well, I would like a dark green here I'm my right chest" Meruem pointed to that area while holding up his 'vest'
"Eh I'll take an orange here in my neck," Pitou said not really liking the idea but she must do as the king demands
"I'll have it in yellow here in my hand," Pouf said extending his hand
"I'll have it in a dark red in my belly," Youpi said in an annoyed tone
"Well I could have it in white in the palm of my hand," Komugi said extending her hand towards assuming that's where she is
And so Mira put the tattoos in them and so they were officially part of Fairy Tail now, the royal guard didn't know how to react to that,they didn't have anything against being there but they would prefer just following the king, Meruem didn't really care about it, he just wanted a place to stay and this just looked like the most convenient of places for him. Meruem then grabbed Komugi and put her on the ground and then sit down, putting in front of him the gungi board and organizing the pieces
"We are playing?" Komugi asked making some members of Fairy Tail look at them curious
"Of course, I still have to beat you," Meruem said as he finished putting the pieces
The members that were looking were confused and curious, this monster-like creature playing some kind of board game with this blind girl, that weirdly looked a little sweet. But before the game could start Natsu came behind them
"Hey, I remember you guys from the ship yesterday. Let's fight!" Natsu said holding his fist up in a fighting position
"May I?" Pitou asked
"Yes, but you are not allowed to murder or dismembered him" Meruem answered ready to play gungi
This made Fairy Tail tense up a bit, the fact that they needed to be told not to dismember or kill was a red flag
"Thank you," Pitou said following Natsu outside
Pitou and Natsu were outside ready to start their fight, all of Fairy Tail was going to watch it happen, they wanted to know how well they would do, but surprisingly the other two royal guards were also there ready to watch Pitou fight, meanwhile, Meruem and Komugi were inside playing gungi not really paying attention to the fight
"I want you to do your best, Pitou was it?" Natsu said assuming a fighting stance
"I don't know if you could handle me if I went all out but you are the ones who gave us a place to stay so I guess I could realize that wish for you," Pitou said lying a little bit, she didn't care if they let them in their place she just wanted an excuse to stretch and test if this man could be a problem to the king
"Alright I'm fired up," Natsu said making his first light up with fire
"How long do you guys think they will last against Natsu?" A member of Fairy Tail asked
"Probably some minutes they seem really strong," a woman with blue hair said
The two chimera ants laughed at that which made the wizards look at them, they only answered by pointing at Pitou making them look and get completely shocked when they saw Pitou doing a pose with their arms to the side and one leg lifted up with a monstrous ballerina creature behind them
"Dance past its limits: Terpsichora," Pitou said making her muscles swell and her claws appear signaling that she was ready to fight
The entire guild was shocked by that, no one knew what that magic was, was it summoning magic? Could be but it seems they got stronger by the ballerina appearing, what could this magic be?
Natsu was shocked by that too but he was more excited to fight them now, and so he gave one step forwards and Pitou disappeared and then Natsu was thrown back almost hitting a house but somehow before he hit it, he was thrown back to the front of Fairy Tail and them hit his face really hard on the ground and so Pitou finally reappeared in the same spot as before now with a hand on her hip and a smug smile on her face
"If this is the kind of strength the humans around here have we won't have to worry about anything," Pitou thought happy that she could have some fun
"What just happened?" The blonde woman asked completely stunned by that
"She just disappeared and then Natsu was on the ground!" The muscular man said
"That is one of Pitou's abilities, Terpsichora, is a combat-oriented ability that betters its user's physical attributes like strength, speed, durability, etc," Meruem said still playing gungi with Komugi, the wizards couldn't see it but Meruem could see very easily that after she used that ability all of her attributes had gained a boost, she was faster, and stronger so he assumed that was what the ability did
"Wow, that is such a mainly ability," the muscular man said flexing
"Heh" the other two ants laughed, they knew Pitou was just having fun with Natsu and that if they saw her fighting seriously they would all lose their minds
"Ow, ow, ow," Natsu said, getting up "you are really strong," he noticed that Pitou deactivated her ability "wait, why did you deactivate it?"
"Oh, that is because I don't need it to beat you," Pitou said squatting making her thighs swell with the veins popping out while their muscles were pumping air into her leg, and then she launched towards Natsu
"Oh yeah? Then come on!" Natsu said that as he punched his fists together and fire covered one of them "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" He screamed
Pitou was right in front of Natsu and when he tried to punch them, they disappeared again and reappeared punching Natsu right in the face sending him tumbling towards the Fairy Tail building, Natsu tried again but they just disappeared and reappeared and hit him again and again it didn't matter what he tried to do
"Fire Dragon's Roar!" Natsu screamed as he spewed fire from his mouth that Pitou easily dodged and then just kicked him in the stomach sending him to the ground once more but he got up again
"Well this has been a fun time but I think it's time for me to end it," Pitou said making their aura expand, the terrifying weight of their aura was crushing the members of Fairy Tail, they were all completely terrified, even Natsu was scared
Pitou slowly walked towards Natsu, he couldn't move, he was stuck in place, frozen, was this fear? Was he that scared of them? Or was it something else? Maybe another one of Pitou's abilities? All of the members of Fairy Tail we're trying to figure out why they had this sudden urge of terror come to them, and why is it so heavy? They feel like they were going to pass out just by Pitou approaching them. And then Pitou was face to face with Natsu, they just started into his eyes for a while, her face has practically centimeters away from him it looked like they were gonna kiss, and they did, Pitou kissed Natsu's face with their fist throwing him into the ground one final time
"I love using hatsu, is always fun seeing the fear on my opponent's eyes," Pitou said deactivating their hatsu and going back inside the building
"Checkmate" Meruem said pouring the pieces in the gungi board "you win again"
"Let's play again," Komugi said ready for another round
"Of course," Meruem said
All of the members of the guild saw the three ants go in and just sit near where Meruem and Komugi were, they weren't affected by that giant wave of fear that happened, did it not reach them? No, the other two were right by their side, how can they stay near Pitou? They know what she is capable of, and it seems she does whatever Meruem says, only one question is going through the guild's mind "Who are these people?"
