Hello people, chapter 2 here. Take this as a sort of apology. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own Percy Jackson or Harry Potter. They belong to Rick Riordan, and J.K. Rowling respectively.

Over by the door, there was a black figure leaning against the doorframe. No, I'm not being racist, there was just a solid black blob in the vague shape of a man.

"Who is he?" Percy asked, confused as to why there was a walking... whatever that is.

Hecate coughed, "That is the 7th member of our council, Kairos."

Kairos shot some figure guns around the room, "Ayyeee, what's good my people!"

Percy looked around the room, "Where's his throne?"

Hecate sighed, "He doesn't actually have a throne. He hates sitting on them because he thinks they're uncomfortable."

At this moment, Kairos dematerialized into a mist and reformed right in front of Percy.

"Ahhh," Kairos yelled, jumping back, "Why'd you do that!"

"What?" Percy blinked, "I haven't done anything,"

Kairos froze for a moment and then doubled over laughing, "No, no no no no no no you haven't!"

Percy gave the rest of the council a concerned glance as if asking, is he mentally stable?

Hecate sighed and said, "Kairos built the Rift. In the process, he linked his lifeforce to it, much like Daeladus. Unfortunately, as the Rift falls apart, so does he."

Hades cleared his throat and spoke in a clearly irritated voice, "Are we going to name Perseus Champion or not?"

Hecate gave him a scathing look and said, "We are getting there. This isn't something you can rush!" She turned back to Percy, "So do you accept our offer?"

"I mean, do I have a choice? Sounds to me like we all die if I don't," Percy said, crossing his arms.

Angelos let out some nervous laughter and said, "I mean, you're not wrong..."

Percy rolled his eyes, "Fine, I accept,"

"Excellent!" Kairos yelled, popping up from the floor, "Champions are useful! I think..." He started walking from corner to corner, muttering to himself.

"All right then!" Hecate clapped her hands. "If the rest of the council could join me, we can get this show on the road!"

Everyone on the council placed their hands on the armrests of their thrones.

A white light began trickling down the sides of the thrones. Behind him, Kairos raised his hands and black light began swirling into a ball in the air.

"Me ti léxi tou symvoulíou onomázete protathlitís tou rígmatos," They chanted.

The white and black light swirled upwards into the shape of what looked like a 30-foot long dragon! Of course, this became much less cool to Percy when the dragon suddenly turned and roared silently at Percy, charging right at him.

Percy tried to get out of the way, but he couldn't move. He couldn't even speak!

Suddenly the dragon shrunk, going from 30 feet to 10 feet, then to only about 6 inches. It landed on Percy's right arm and melted into his skin. It was accompanied by a dose of mindbending, unadulterated, agony.

Then everything went dark, and Percy felt nothing.

Percy sat up. He saw nothing in all directions, just an endless empty space.

"Hello Percy, I've been expecting you," A voice said from behind him.

Percy turned around to see an old man hunched over with his hands on a cane. Despite his aged appearance, there was an aura of power around him.

"How do you know my name?" Percy asked, though, at this point, he was almost used to it.

The old man raised an eyebrow, "Really, Percy I thought you would have learned by now," He shook his head, "No matter, we don't have much time. You have accepted the power of the Champion. It means more than you know."

"Well yeah! The only thing I have been told is that we're all going to die if I don't" Percy asked

The old man chuckled, "Well if they had told you there was a chance you would have declined,"

"If you're so knowledgeable why don't you tell me what I'm supposed to do?"

"I cannot,"

"Why?"

The old man sighed, "I am old. Most have forgotten I exist, and those who do consider me nothing more than a bedtime story. You are the closest thing I have to a successor,"

Before Percy could say anything, the old man waved his hand and Percy woke up.

Percy jolted up, still confused. He looked around and saw that he was sitting on a small bed, still wearing his camp half-blood t-shirt. The walls were painted blue, and the floor was carpeted. As he looked down he saw something black on his arm. He pulled up his sleeve and lo and behold, he had a tattoo of a dragon on his arm. It was incredibly realistic, and it covered his entire shoulder.

"Crap! Mom is going to kill me!"

He got up and walked over to the door. By the door, there was a chair with Kairos sitting in it.

Kairos sat up, "Oooo, you're awake. Ready to get started?"

"Uh, yeah I guess, but what happened? And what is this? Percy asked as he gestured to his arm.

Kairos made a dismissive gesture, "No time for that! We have to get moving!" and with that, he speed-walked down the hall towards the unassuming door at the end.

Percy yelled to him, "Hey! Where are you going!" but Kairos didn't respond.

Rather frustrated, Percy resolved to just follow him and see where he goes.

Percy caught up the Kairos just as he reached the end of the hallway. Kairos threw open the door and announced, "Welcome, to the Hall of Dimensions!"

"That's a lot of doors," was the first thing Percy said as he looked inside.

The Hall of Dimensions was a massive hallway filled with an assortment of doors, as far as he could see. There were white doors, red doors, and black doors, all with a small bronze nameplate on top of the doorknob. There were also two small scooters next to the door with a screen that looked like a GPS.

Kairos strode confidently into the Hall and started talking like a tour guide, "So if you look to the left, you can see a bunch of dimensional doors and if you look to the right, you'll see more dimensional doors."

Percy took a closer look at the nameplates for some of the closer ones, "Xenomorphic, Gunslinger, Abyss... you know most of these names sound very ominous."

"Right you are!" Kairos said happily, "Those doors are very depressing, but filled with the kind of people that can snap their fingers and make you disintegrate. Each of these doors leads to another world, and it is now your job to ensure they don't collapse into a million shards and kill us all!"

"Riiiight, so what do the colors mean? Also, why would you choose me to be in charge of fixing this?" Percy asked.

"So, the red doors are the ones that need fixing, the white doors are mostly fine, and the black doors are the ones that are already destroyed," Kairos stated cheerfully.

There were a lot of black and red doors.

"Wait, so you're telling me that every single one of these doors leads to another dimension? And I'm supposed to fix ALL of these!" Percy asked.

"Not all of them, we managed to locate a sort of core for the disturbances. You just have to clear a path to it." Kairos said, flipping through a small notepad he produced from... somewhere. "Your first stop should be... Hairy Pottery"

"Hairy... Pottery. Why does the pottery have hair?" Percy said hesitantly.

"Uh no, it's Harry Potter," Kairos corrected, "I don't know where you got 'Pottery' from,"

"But you just... OK fine. What do I do?"

"Hand me Riptide," Kairos said, putting his hand out.

"Why?"

"Swords aren't standard in every dimension, it's going to need another form," Kairos said, rolling his eyes, "Now hand it over,"

Percy reluctantly pulled Riptide of his pocket and handed it to Kairos.

"Uh-huh," Kairos muttered, inspecting Riptide very closely. "I see," He made a small circle with one hand and stuck Riptide through it. As it went through, it turned into...

"A stick," Percy said, flatly, "You turned my sword into a stick,"

"Not just any stick," Kairos said, "Acio,"

Suddenly one of the scooters jumped up and flew into Kairos' hand.

Percy raised an eyebrow, "You turned my sword... into a magic stick,"

"Relax, you can turn it back anytime you want. There's a little switch on the side of the pen," he tossed Riptide back to Percy.

"You still haven't told me what I'm supposed to do or what this tattoo means," Percy said, a little miffed.

"Hecate can explain it to you when we get there," Kairos said, getting onto the scooter. "Come on, we don't have time to be lollygagging,"

"Who says lollygagging anymore?" Percy called back, getting onto the other scooter as fast as he could.

Percy and Kairos stood in front of one of many red doors, this one's nameplate being 'Harry Potter.'

"So what, do I just go through?" Percy asked.

"Yup, Hecate should be waiting for you on the other side," Kairos said.

"OK, see you later then?" Percy said as he walked through the door.

"Oh right, Percy?" Kairos called

Percy turned around.

"Sorry about this," he said

"What are you sorry about?" Percy asked, kind of nervous.

"It's um, you'll see,"

Percy looked at the emptiness of the open doorway and thought,

Sorry Annabeth, but I don't think I'm going to be visiting for a while.

He sighed and stepped into the unknown.

Ok, that's chapter 2. At this point, expect everything to be reposted a bunch of times because I am incapable of doing it right the first time. IDK, review please?
