Wakfu-Next Generation Ch.1: Brotherhood Reunion

The World of Twelve has known a lasting peace, thanks to the Brotherhood of the Tofu, who are now living their lives the best they can. Many things have changed for the world of twelve, while many things remain the same. Now we will see just how much has changed in the years that have passed for the brotherhood.

The Sadida/Eliatrope (Avita) Kingdom:

It has been many years since the Eliatropes and the Sadidas came together as one people thanks to the efforts of Queen Amalia, King Yugo, and his brother king Adamai; they ruled alongside King Armand and Queen Aurora. The kingdom has prospered in ways, they never dreamed of, and had changed for the better. They were not without problems of course, but it was never a problem that couldn't be fixed if they worked together.

The sun had just risen over the kingdom bathing the land in its light. As the rose, it's light peaked through a window and touches the face of Yugo. The Eliatrope's eyes fluttered open as felt his body awaken. He let out a loud yawn as he stretched himself out. He then looked over to his wife, to see her sleeping soundly, causing a smile to come to his face. Ever since their accession, they were given their own royal chamber, which was one of the only places they could get any privacy.

She had changed so much over the years, and now looked even more beautiful than before. Amalia's body had developed well and she now looked even more like her mother, but she was still her. After taking in his wife's image, Yugo decided to get up as he was not one to waste time, Yugo moved his sheets and got out of bed, showing how much he had changed over the last few years. His body had finally grown to be the same height as Amalia and he now looked much more muscular. His body was decorated with the tattoos that usually appear when he uses his powers. Now that he had better control over them, the tattoos now stay permanently.

With his body fully stretched out, the young king got to work getting dressed. He made his way over to the dresser at the side of the room. He put on his usual blue shirt, a pair of long light brown pants, and of course his hat. He then dawned a royal robe, given to him by Baltazar, as well as wedding ring; Amalia had given him a wooden ring carved from an old and very strong tree. He had given her blue ring made of a metal from his home planet that glowed in the dark. He smiled as he looked down at his wedding ring, and looked back over to his sleeping bride. He really didn't want to wake her up, but the day was calling.

He made his way over to her and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, causing her to smile. "Time to wake up my queen." She grumbled a little and replied, "Oh five more minutes dear." He chuckled as she said that and answered, "No can do I'm afraid. We have to grab the children and get to breakfast." She let a loud huff of frustration because she really didn't want to get up. "Don't suppose, I could get you to carry me?" The Sadida Queen was given her answer as she felt her husband's hands move beneath her and pick her up bridal style.

He held her close as he said, "Your wish is my command my lady." She looked into his eyes and smiled before wrapping her arms around his neck. "You really spoil me, you know that?" He nodded, "I know." The two shared a quick kiss before heading off to fetch their children. They walked or rather Yugo walked at a nice steady pace, as he moved down the hall to the children's room. Upon arriving, Yugo knocked on the door and said aloud, "Lily, Astro wake up! It's time for breakfast!"

Almost immediately, the two children came bursting through the door running about and screaming, "Yay, breakfast!" Yugo and Amalia looked at each before they smiled. He then called out, "Lily, Astro remember no running in the halls! You might run into someone!" Both of them stopped before turning back to their parents. They quickly came back and Lily said, "Sorry Daddy, we're just really excited that Uncle Dally and Aunt Eva are coming!" Astro stepped next to his sister and followed her lead. "Yeah, I'm excited about seeing Elely and Flopin again."

"Lily and Astro were around the same size Yugo was when he went on his first adventure. Lily is older, but Astro is the same size she is. Lily has her father's skin tone and wears a grass Sadida dress. Astro has his mother's skin tone and wears a dark blue shirt, along with black pants that like similar to Yugo's old clothing. They children have both their parents abilities, and although neither of them have full control over their powers, they both excel in their own areas. Astro excels at using his portals, as he has greater control of his wakfu, and is even skilled at seeing wakfu currents; however he is only as skilled as the other children at using the Sadida power to influence nature. Lily however excels at using her Sadida powers and has connection with nature that surpasses those of all the other children; as for her portal abilities, she's having trouble keeping using too many portals in a certain time span."

Yugo chuckled and responded in a fatherly manner. "I know you two are excited to see the Percedals, but you have to calm down a little. When they get here, we'll have plenty of fun, but for now we follow the rules." Both of them responded, "Ok Daddy." Astro then asked, "Um Dad, why are you carrying Mom? Is she OK?" "I'm fine dear. Daddy's just helping Mommy out this morning." Lilly then moved forward and said, "Well come on, we don't want to be late for breakfast." Astro circled around his father and began to push him as he said, "She's right. We better get moving."

"OK, OK let's go." Yugo said walking forward with his children alongside him. As they arrived in the kitchen, they were greeted by the chefs waiters. The family of four greeted all those who spoke to them before moving into the Dining Hall to find Armand and Aurora already there. They had already been given their breakfast, but it didn't look like they ate much of it yet. Yugo greeted his brother and sister in laws as he arrived.

"Good morning Armand, Aurora. I hope you're doing well this morning." Armand nodded and replied, "Yes, good morning to you as well Yugo, Amalia." Aurora greeted them as well. "Good morning you two, and you as well little ones." Lilly and Astro greeted at the same time. "Good morning Uncle Armand, Aunt Aurora." The children sat down beside their parents chairs. Astro sat next to his mother while Lilly sat next to her father. Yugo put Amalia in her chair as he said, "Your seat M'lady." "Why thank you kind sir."

The two shared a loving gaze before sharing a quick kiss. The kids made noises showing they were definitely grossed out by their parents. Yugo sat next to his wife and his daughter as the chefs brought out their food. As they began to eat Yugo asked Armand, "So, what's scheduled for today?" Armand motioned for his adviser to bring the list for today. Armand took the list and began to read it. "Let's see. The people have requested help in constructing new houses, some of the new hybrid children need to instructed on how to control their powers. Also a few councilmen are going to making their way here. They want to discuss peace treaties, trade, our recent expansion, the new advancements we've made, as well as integration of the Eliatropes."

That last bit had Yugo a little disturbed. Amalia responded to the list, "Huff, it looks like it's going to be another busy day. It just goes to show a royals work is never done." Yugo spoke after his bride as he asked, "Armand, which lands are these councilmen coming from?" Armand looked at the list and answered, "I assure you Yugo, there is no need for concern. All the councilmen are the royalty we've lasting peace with. Bonta, Amakna, & Brakmar. The Iop, Cra, and Huppermage, Osamoda leaders are coming as well."

Yugo let out a bit a grumble as he heard this before answering his fellow king. "Adamai informed me of what went on the last time 'The Council of Twelve'came together here. They bickered and argued over who would become our allies or who would gain access to the power of the Eliacube. It was the prince of Brakmar who cause the uproar and let the arguments continue afterwards. Not only that, but do not forget that in your time of crisis, none of them came to aid you against the flood Ogrest caused. I know they were all concerned for their own lands and their own people; however the amount of trust between the council and the nation should be called into question."

Armand wanted to argue, but he knew the Eliatrope king was right. He then responded, "As you said Yugo, they were concerned with their own lands and their own people. Besides, that is the past and this is now. The Eliatropes have already fully integrated into our society and thanks to you, the Eliacube is now a power source that aids our people in their daily lives and our protection. None of them can bring this up without insulting or attacking us directly. Besides, I have a few questions for the council as well, as I know you do. As the king of Eliatropes, your presence will be required and expected. As will yours Amalia."

Yugo sighed and nodded as he said, "You don't have to worry about that. I'll be there." "As will I brother. Now then, how about we get back to enjoying our breakfast." Yugo smiled and did just that as he began to dig in to the lovely breakfast prepared by the chefs. Armand sat next to his queen and did the same. Yugo then asked, "By the way Armand, how's Ariel?" He responded, "She's doing alright. She wanted to go out with the foragers and left early this morning." Aurora smiled and said, "She was excited, she could hardly sleep last night. She really wanted to help and learn to identify fruits."

Amalia smiled, "That's wonderful. It seems all of our children are doing well." Armand looked to his sister and smiled, "Yes. Yes it does."

Once everyone was finished they went their separate ways to begin their work.

Yugo and Amalia mostly did their duties together, but sometimes they were unable given their limited knowledge about the needs and abilities of their separate classes/people. Now that their people had come together as one, it became much easier for them to work together.

After dropping their kids off with their usual sitter, the royal couple went off about their daily royal duties. While they loved their children very much, they could only spend so much time with them because of their responsibilities to the kingdom and their people. Luckily, Lily and Astro understood this and cherished every moment they spent with their Mom and Dad.

First on the list of duties was aiding in the construction. Thanks to the Eliatropes, transporting and assembling certain materials had become easier, but it still required a bit of work to get done, especially for those who preferred their housing above ground. The Eliatropes had arguments with the Sadida way of living. In fact they were happy with this stile of living since it was so similar to the way they lived back on their world. Although they did have a few suggestions on how the housing could be improved. Like using hooks and pulley systems to keep the houses above ground stable, and using pipes/bamboo shoots to transport important liquids: such as drinking water, bathing water, as well as important messages.

Upon arriving, the couple could see that there were indeed a few problems that needed to be take care of. Amalia headed to the main worker, a Sadida named Lock and asked, "Good Morning, Lock. We were informed you needed some help over here. What seems to be the problem. He responded, "Oh thank goodness you both are here my queen. One of the new houses above needed to be pulled up and secured, a few of the pipes have broken, and some houses are need of repair."

Amalia let out a deep sigh as she turned to her husband. "It looks like it's going to be one of those days." Yugo nodded as he responded, "I'd have to agree dear, but the sooner we get to work, the sooner we get finished. I'll go fix the pipes, and head up to secure the houses." Amalia nodded and replied, "I guess that means I help down here with the repairs, and help hoist the houses up then." He smiled at her getting her to smile in response. She then said, "Well let's get to work."

The two split up with Yugo heading to the main pipe area, to see what needed to be done, while Amalia went over to the houses to aid in the repairs.

It didn't take long for the two to get things done. Yugo used his portal beam as a 'Blow Torch' and welded the pipes back together and a make shift out of sap, bark, and rope to patch up the bamboo tubes. Amalia helped gather the materials used for the houses and used her magic to bind them together and put them in place. Finally they came together for the final part. Using her magic, Amalia summoned large vines to pull the houses into the air near the trees where supports had been placed. Once high enough in the air Yugo teleported to each one and locked them in place either by hook or the trees themselves.

Once done, he popped back beside his wife and they both looked up at their work. Amalia smiled and said, "Looks like a job well done to me." "Yep." Her husband answered in happy tone. The two of them then turned to the workers who were double checking to make sure everything was taken care of. Lock came over and reported, "Everything is A-OK your highnesses. We'll handle things from here on." They nodded and turned to head to their next destination.

Amalia turned to her husband and asked, "So where to next?" The Eliatrope thought for a moment before remembering the list Armand had told them. He remembered and answered her, "I believe we're supposed to aid the new hybrid children in developing and using their abilities." Amalia couldn't help but smile as she continued walking. Yugo turned and looked at his queen's beaming smile and asked, "What's got you all smiley?" "I'm happy Yugo. I never would have imagined my people prospering this much. Not only that, but now your people are prospering too. Our people have come together and created something greater than we could ever be alone. And now a new generation has come into the world through that union. I really couldn't be happier."

Yugo smiled, but then thought for a moment as he said, "This part might be a bit tricky though." "What do you mean?" His wife asked. "Like you said a new race has been created through the union of our people. That means they develop abilities and powers that we've never seen before. There might be a few things we might not be able to help them with. They might have to figure it out on their own." Amalia nodded and said, "Yeah, that does sound tricky. Then again, that's not necessarily a bad thing. They'll be bringing new wonder into the world all on their own, and who knows where that will lead them. After all, discovering your powers is what led us on our first adventure."

He grabbed her hand getting her to turn to him as he said, "They led me to you too." A bright blush appeared on her face as those words touched her heart. The two then shared a passionate love filled kiss before heading back to their work.

The Percedal Family

A few miles away Percedal and his family were making their way to the "Avita Kingdom" to see the rest of their brotherhood. In the passing years Dally, also known as Percedal, had gotten more muscular. He now had two new Iop warriors to train, well one Iop and one Iopette. These two are his daughter Elely, and his young son (Name Not Released Yet So Improvised) Pin. Eva had her hands full keeping the three Iops in check, luckily she had a little help from her Cra son Flopin, who had also gotten much stronger. Although Flopin and Elely hadn't changed all that much, since like Yugo they now aged slower than most people, given their godly heritage. Pin was now old enough to walk on his own, but still had to be carried long distances; Eva currently had him in a carrier on her back.

The children were very excited to see Yugo and Amalia again, after being apart for so long. They were all very excited to see Lily and Astro again and the new kingdom. It had literally been years since they've seen each other, give that they both had families to look after. They would have visited before, but there demigod baby was a bit much to handle as well as recovering from what happened in the 'Tower of Dreams'.

The family had been walking for a while and finally had the Avita Kingdom in their sights. Evangelyne was happy to see the place she once called home again, and honestly was very excited to see how her friends were doing and how the kingdom had changed. Her attention was soon called back to reality by the sound of her daughter's voice. "Mama?" She looked down to see what she wanted. "How much longer till we get there?" She nodded, "Don't worry my little Iopette, look you can see it from here. We'll be there soon." Flopin stepped next to his mother and sister as he said, "I wonder how Yugo and Amalia are doing. It's been a while since they became king and queen along with her brother and Aurora."

That last sentence caused Eva to worry slightly. She had much respect for Armand as a warrior, a former prince, and even as a king, but there were times when he let his anger and jealously get the better of him, causing him to make poor decisions. Not only that, but he's always undermined Amalia despite everything she's accomplished as one of their Brotherhood, and if not for the king's final wishes, she had no doubt he would have fought against Amalia's wish to marry Yugo, and bring join the Sadida and Eliatrope people, simply because it would give them equal authority. It had been a few years since she'd seen her friends, and although she was excited to see them and the changes they've made, she was also worried there would be changes she wouldn't be happy about.

Evangelyne was brought out of her thoughts when she felt a strong hand touch her shoulder. She looked to see her faithful husband with a warm smile on his face. "Don't worry Eva, everything's going to be great. We'll finally get to see the new Sadida kingdom for ourselves and see how Yugo and Amalia have been doing. Not only that, but we'll get to see how much their kids have grown too." She smiled to her strong Percedal, before turning back to the land before her. "You remember it's called the Avita Kingdom now right?" Elely then asked, "Hey mom, what does Avita mean again?"

Eva smiled as she answered her daughter's question. "It means 'Starflower'. It's as if the name itself tells how the Eliatrope people came from the beyond the stars to join the people of nature, the Sadidas. It even tells the tale of the Yugo and Amalia. How a King from beyond the stars found his Queen, a girl whose beauty rivaled that of any flower."

Flopin, "Wow."

Dally, "That was beautiful Eva. Alright everyone let's go."

Back in the Avita Kingdom-

Yugo and Amalia were heading to the training temple. This temple was built for Eliatrope and Sadida alike are taught to hone and master their abilities. The temple was broken into five major parts: Two areas were used for practice, Two areas were used for training, and one area was used for combat.

The Eliatrope practice hall was filled with star charts, portal instructions, and meditation areas where they practiced testing their wakfu perception and control. The training hall was quite large and was lined with a stone floor full of traps: these traps included trap doors, rising pillars, swinging logs, as well stationary and moving targets. The Eliatropes used their reflexes and portals to maneuver around the trap doors, to get around or on top of the moving pillars and swinging logs, and the targets were for perfecting their aim and power with their wakfu shots. They also had area to perfect their wakfu vision. This area was full of swinging pendulums that swung at the chose trainee, who be blindfolded and forced to dodge the pendulums from a stationary position, by using their vision to see through the blindfold and avoid them.

The Sadida practice hall was filled with many types of small plants the children took care of and aided their growth. They also had a meditation area where they practiced listening to voices and advice of the plants. The Sadida training hall was large forest area lined with many types of plants and tress. It was here they practiced summoning the plants they would use to protect themselves as well as learned to use their dolls. Some of them, like Amalia, summoned large vines to defend and grab onto things. They also learned to listen and connect with the life around them allowing them to learn what was around them just by feeling it; as well whether or not the plants were dangerous.

The Combat Hall, as the name implies is where both Sadidas and Eliatropes go to put their training to the test and spar against one another. It is here they gain experience and learn how to react in battle on their own. Lily and Astro attend this training as well and excel in their respective areas.

However now Sadidas and Eliatropes have become one, many of them got together and had children, just as Yugo and Amalia have. These children are a new people in the world of twelve and have unknown potential. Their parents know that they may just end up inheriting the powers of one of them, or both, but they also know it is a possibility that they may develop new abilities never seen before. A few children in the former category have already been born: these children attend both sides of the temple for training. As for those in the later category, only 3 has appeared so far. This child was named Sokka had the ability to harness the power of nature and fire beams of healing light. He also had the ability to create green portals using vines that could stay open for long periods of time and could be used to travel far distances. The other children are Lily & Astro whose powers haven't awakened yet. Yugo suspected that they're hidden abilities would not awaken without more training or without being in a circumstance that calls for them.

Yugo and Amalia had just arrived at the temple and were heading inside. As they approached they saw the children on both sides of the training areas. The young Eliatropes were meditating as they practiced summoning and controlling their wakfu. The young Sadidas were each tending to a small plant, as they practiced using their life magic to aid in their growth. The teachers watched over them carefully and corrected any minor details.

The Eliatrope teacher was non other than Baltazar the dragon; his knowledge and experience with Eliatrope children as well as their training helped them greatly. With the adult Eliatropes gone, his skills were greatly needed and greatly appreciated. He taught them how to properly harness their wakfu, and how properly use their portals.

The Sadida teacher, was a Sadida elder, a woman named Sara. Her knowledge and understanding of life magic as well as her understanding of plant life were essential. She had a steady hand, and was very kind. She taught the children how to listen to plants and how to properly take care of many types of them.

As the king and queen entered many heads turned to them, before bright smiles appeared on their faces. Many of the children smiled and began to speak in excited tones.
"It's King Yugo."
"Queen Amalia!"
"It's the king and queen!"
"It's the queen."

The two royals shared a warm smile with each other before turning to their excited young subjects. They bent down to greet the children as they excitedly swarmed them. Sara stood up and called out, "Now, now little buds, settle down. I'm sure the king and queen will be more than delighted to speak to all of you." Baltazar followed her lead and said, "She's right young ones. Calm yourselves and give your king and queen a proper greeting."

The children stepped back and bowed respectfully as they said together, "Hello King Yugo. Hello Queen Amalia." The two smiled and greeted them back. Yugo stepped towards them and replied, "Hello little ones. I'm glad to see you're all working hard." Amalia spoke next, "As am I. I can see you're all doing very well." The children smiled and beamed with pride at being praised by their rulers.

Yugo turned to his dragon his Eliatrope dragon brother Baltazar and greeted him. "Baltazar, its good to see you old friend. How are things?" The old dragon responded, "I am doing well my king. I am glad to see you and your mate are as well." Yugo smiled happily as saw Amalia walk over to the Sadida elder. The young queen held elder woman's hand as she said, "Sara, I hope you are doing well. I know teaching so many little ones can taxing." Sara chuckled before responding, "Oh nonsense Queen Amalia. Passing on everything I've learned to these little buds fills me with such joy. Although I admit there are some days I can feel my age, I wouldn't trade this for anything. Now then, if I recall, you two are here to help some of the students here. There's young lady of there who I think could use your guidance."

Amalia nodded before turning to her husband who nodded back to her as she made her way over to the girl.. He turned to Baltazar as he asked, "My friend, what children need our help?" Baltazar turned to the side and used his wings to point to two young Eliatropes, a boy and a girl, who were standing off to he side. He then said, "They've been having trouble with their portals and focusing their wakfu. Yugo smiled and nodded before walking over to them.

As he stepped in front of them, they looked up. "So, what are your names young ones?" The boy spoke up and said, "I'm Spark, and this is Marina." Yugo sat on the floor between them as spoke to them again. "You two have been having trouble with your portals huh?" The two Eliatropes nodded. "Listen, I know it can be hard learn something new. I also know it can be hard to not get something that your supposed to be able to do-"

They both looked down in disappointment. Yugo placed his hands on both their backs, getting both to look up at him as he spoke to them. "But I also know that no matter what you can't give up. As long as you give it everything you've got, no matter what, you will succeed." Marina looked up to her king and asked, "You really think we can do it?"

He gave them an honest warm smile as he nodded and said, "I know you can." Spark then said, "But we've been training for a long time and no matter how hard we try, we just can't get it." He responded, "You two have been trying to do this in only one way. I've found that if you approach things in different ways, you'll eventually find a way that works best for you. Now the, I want you both to do exactly as I say. Okay?" They both nodded and paid close attention.

Yugo smiled and said, "Good, now place your backs against the walls, cross your legs, and sit up straight." They both did as they were told and waited for the next instruction. Yugo smiled and said, "Okay, I want you both to stay perfectly calms do exactly as I say. Now... close your eyes, take a deep breath, and empty your mind... yes, yes, that's it. Now feel the power of your wakfu coursing through your body. In times of crisis it will come to you and protect you... unlocking powers you never knew you had." As Yugo continued to speak, the two students bodies began to glow as wakfu began to course through them.

He smiled as he saw it was working. He then held up their hands, getting them hold them up as he said, "Just forget everything you ever thought you knew... forget yourself. Only through forgetting will you remember what your ancient blood already knows... that you are an Eliatropes." On pure instinct the two young Eliatropes moved their hands in a circle creating strong and stable portals. The Eliatrope king smiled as he said, "Now, open your eyes."

As they did, the two Eliatrope's jaws dropped as they saw what they had done. Not only that, but at what they felt. They could feel their wakfu coursing through them, and they could feel that they had full control over their portals. They smiled as they began to create more, just like Yugo used to when he was younger. They jumped and cheered in excitement causing Yugo to smile brightly. As he turned to walk out, he was stopped as he felt two pares of arms wrap around him. The two young ones hugged him tightly, showing their appreciation and thanks for their kings kindness.

Yugo smiled and patted their heads before hugging them back. The two then ran over back to Baltazar and their classmates. Yugo smiled as the two reminded him of his children; he was happy to help his people in any way he could. Now he went to see how his wife was doing with her student.

As he made his way over, he looked to see Amalia working with a student. This young Sadida was named Nira, meaning Lotus. She was having trouble using her powers to make this lotus flower bloom. Nira's power was flowing , but it wasn't aiding the plant's growth, and if it was, it was visibly noticeable . Yugo didn't want to interrupt, so he went off to side to watch his queen do her thing.

Amalia placed her hand on Nira's shoulder and told her, "Now come on, let's try again." Nira looked unsure as she said, "But, Queen Amalia, I-I've already tried so many times. (Huff) Maybe, I just can't do it." Amalia let out a huff of her own before a smile appeared on her face. She reached her hand under the little girl's chin and tilted her head up, getting her to look up. "Nira, listen. I know you can do this. I know it can be frustrating, but trust me, as long as you're willing to keep trying, you can do anything. I know you can do this."

Nira looked into her eyes and asked, "How do you know that?" The Sadida king smiled, "Because you're a Sadida just like me. I wasn't always good at this either, but I kept practicing and eventually, I became one of the best. I know you can too." Nira smiled as she looked down at her lotus flower. She then said, "Ok. . . I'll try." Amalia nodded and said, "Good, now close your eyes, and follow my words." Nira did as instructed and waited.

"Feel the earth under you, feel the wind over you. Feel the grass and the soil beneath it. As a Sadida, you are a part of everything around you. . . You are nature." Nira picture herself seeing everything the queen described. She then pictured herself in a field of lotus flowers. "And just as you are part of everything, everything is a part of you. See this plant as part of yourself, and see yourself as part of it." Nira smiled as she pictured herself as one with lotus flower in her mind. "Once you see it, you will feel it, and once you feel it, you make a connection." Nira focused on her vision, and just the queen said, she could soon feel the heat of the sun, the blowing wind, the soft grass, and the lotus flowers around her. "Good, very good. Now once that connection is made, use it. This plant needs your help to grow. Use the connection to help it." Her hands begin to emit a bright green glow before the energy flowed into the soil and into the plant causing it to bloom into a lotus blossom.

As the energy flowed through, Nira opened her eyes and gasped as she saw the lotus blossom before her. She then whispered, "I-I did it?" Amalia nodded and replied, "Yes you did." Nira cheered I did it at least five times as she spun around holding the lotus flower. She then put the flower down before running over and hugging the queen. "Thank you, your highness." As they pulled away, Amalia pet her head and replied, "You're welcome little one."

Nira ran back over to the other students as they congratulated her. Amalia couldn't help but let a warm smile come to her face as she saw this. She then felt a warm hand come over her shoulder. Recognizing it as her husband's hand, she placed her hand over his before moving over to embrace him as they watched their young citizens. Their moment of joy was suddenly interrupted as a guard came in called for them. "King Yugo, Queen Amalia, I have news for you!"

Yugo turned to him and asked, "Yes, what is it?"

"The Percedal Family has just arrived at front gate sir, and I've received word that the 'Council of Twelve' will be arriving shortly." They both smiled as they heard that their friends had finally arrived. Yugo looked to the guard and said, "Have the Percedals escorted to the palace and inform them we'll be meeting them there. Also inform us when the council arrives and continue the preparations for their arrival." The guard bowed and replied, "Yes, King Yugo!" With that he left to carry out his orders. As the guard left Amalia looked to him and said, "Wow, they're really here. It's been so long since I've even seen Eva and Dally." She moved towards the door as she looked out over the kingdom. She then looked towards the palace, "I wonder how much they've changed?" Yugo smiled as moved behind his wife before wrapping his arms around her waist and nuzzling his cheek against hers.

She chuckled in response and turned to him as he said, "Probably no more than we have. We better get going if we want to meet them there before the council arrives." Amalia sighed and said, "We may have to run, if we want to get there that fast." Yugo smiled before picking up her up bridal style, startling her. He held her close as he asked, "Have you forgotten who you're married to?" The eliatrope king closed his eyes and concentrated his wakfu. As he did, the wings on his head appeared and grew out to flight worthy size.

"Show off." Yugo smiled as he took flight into the air, with a single flap of his wings. Amalia let a scream as they flew high incredible speeds. Once Yugo reached BOUT 100 feet in the air he took off towards the palace. Amalia couldn't help but laugh as she pulled her hair down and looked and felt the wind blowing against her face. She then looked down and looked upon her kingdom and its people. She couldn't help but smile. Yugo picked up on this and asked, "It's amazing isn't it? Seeing the kingdom we've built like this." She nodded as she kept looking, "Yeah, it really is. Honestly, I still can't believe we did all this. . . and the best part-" Yugo turned to her as she trailed off.

Amalia looked into his crystal blue eyes with her bright emerald green ones. She then placed her hand on his chest and rested her head on his shoulder. "We did together." A warm and true smile appeared on the young king's face as he heard his wife's words. The two then looked ahead as Yugo sped up and flew towards the palace.

The Percedal Family:

Upon arriving in the new Savita Kingdom, the Percedals were greeted by the guards, as well as the royal escort, before being escorted to the royal palace. The family, Evangelyne especially, was astounded with how much the kingdom had changed since they've been gone. As they arrived at the palace, they were informed that Yugo and Amalia had been informed of their arrival and would be there shortly. Eva thanked the adviser and told him they'd wait here.

"Wow, this place sure has changed a lot since we were last here, hasn't it Dad?" Elely asked in an excited tone. Dally nodded and replied, "It sure has, and I like it. What about my darling?" Eva nodded as she answered, "Yes, the kingdom has grown very prosperous. The royal family have done an amazing job leading the people." Flopin turned to his mother and asked, "Mama, where are Yugo and Amalia?" Eva thought for a minute before answering the question. "If I had to guess, they're tending to their royal duties. I'm sure they'll be here in a little while."

"Ah, Eva, Sir Percedal." The family turned to source of the voice and found it to be none-other than Armand, Aurora, and their daughter Ariel.

Ariel was a young Sadida/Osamodas. She was currently 10 years old, and was dressed in a green Osamodas style suit. She had her mother's blue skin, and red eyes; as well as her father's green hair. She also had a long blue pointed tail that she would usually keep under her clothes, but would sometimes let swing about. Although she was young everyone praised her for her beauty, which rivaled her mothers. She had inherited much from her parents, including their powers, but she thankfully she had not inherited her father's bad temper.

The Percedals smiled at seeing the trio and bowed respectively. Armand motioned for them to rise as he continued. "I'm glad you all could make it. The summit will be starting soon, and I'm hoping you'll all attend."

Eva spoke up and responded, "We'd be happy to your highness. Lady Aurora, princess Ariel, it's good to see you both." Aurora gave the female Cra a smile as she said, "It's always a pleasure to see you and the other members of the 'Brotherhood of the Tofu' Evangeline. Ariel, say hi to Ms. Evangeline." Arieal waved as she said, "Hi Ms. Eva." The Cra mother couldn't help but smile at such a cute sight and waved back. Aurora then spoke up again, "Tell me, how have you and your family been?"

"Oh we've been doing fine. My husband has had his hands full with training two Iop warriors now, but he's managing. How about you?" Eva answered/asked. "We've been doing fine. Ariel's such a sweetheart, and Armand's always working hard for the kingdom; although sometimes I worry he's working a bit too hard. Still, that's how he is."

Dally then spoke up, "Say Armand, where's Yugo and Amalia?" Armand turned to him and said, "Do not worry Sir Percedal, we sent work of your arrival to both of them. They should be arriving soon." "Sooner than you think."

Everyone looked up as they heard the new voice, and saw that it was non-other than the very couple they were speaking of. Yugo was using his wakfu wings to hover in the air, while Amalia bridal style. The Eliatrope king descended and landed on the ground. He barely had time to put Amalia down before they were bombarded by their friends.

Eva enveloped her best friend in a big strong hug, to which she happily returned. The same was done to Yugo by Dally as the two playfully wrestled. "Wow Yugo, it's been so long, it's great to see you. Hey, have you gotten taller?" Yugo couldn't but chuckle as he answered his best friend/brother. "It's good to see you Dally, and yes I have. A lot has changed since last you guys were here."

"We can see that" Eva said looking outside at the marvel that was once the Sadida Kingdom. "You two have really changed changed this place for the better. Everything looks great. I can't wait to catch up so you can tell us all about it." Elely and Flopin both ran up and hugged the Eliatrope king, making him lose his balance. Eva and Amalia couldn't help but giggle.

Elely looked up and said, "I wanna here any adventures you've had since we last saw you." Flopin followed up, "I wanna hear about all those cool machines." Yugo managed to get his balance back as he said, "Alright you two, calm down. There'll be plenty of time for that."

Armand's voice suddenly spoke up getting everyone's attention and breaking the moment. "Actually Yugo, the Council of Twelve will be arriving in conference room shortly. I'm afraid the time for catching up will have to wait till later." To that Flopin and Elely responded with unison, "Aaaaaaaww."

Yugo shrugged and said, "Sorry you two, but he's right. Armand, are the council members already on their way to the conference room?" He nodded, "Yes, we should arrive at the same time they do if we leave now. Evangelyne, if you would like, your children can be escorted to the same room where Yugo's children are currently until council is finished conversing."

Eva nodded and replied, "That sounds like a great idea Pri- I mean King Armand. Flopin, Elely take your brother and go with the guards." Elely was opened her mouth to protest, "But mom. . ." Eva held up her hand stopped her right there. "No buts. Besides, this whole meeting is going to be boring and I know you don't to hear a bunch grown ups talking for hours do you. Besides, I thought you'd want to see Astro and Lily again."

Soon the young Iopette figured her mother was right and nodded. "Huff, ok mom." With that the children were escorted out and were on their way up.

Armand and Aurora lead the way to the conference room as Armand spoke out. "Alright everyone, this way. Let's step lightly now, we don't want to keep the council waiting." With that everyone followed Armand to the conference room

As they walked Armand turned to his fellow king and asked, "Yugo, were you and Amalia able to finish all the tasks I informed you of today?" His brother in law nodded as he responded. "Of course Armand. We finished just as the Percedals arrived. Were you able to finish your tasks as well?" This time Armand was the one who nodded as he said, "Yes, no problems to report as of yet. I'm glad everything's going smoothly. The last thing we need is a fiasco getting in the way of them meeting. Are you sure you're ready?" "I'll be fine Armand, relax." With that he nodded and both of them continued to walk forward with their queens in toe.

Upon seeing and hearing the actions between the two, Dally couldn't help but be curios and confused. He walked up next to his friend and whispered, " Wow. You know, I'm surprised you and Armand are getting along so well."

Yugo chuckled as he said, "Armand and I have our differences and arguments from time to time, but the truth is, the Avita kingdom wouldn't be what it is today without him. He pays close attention to detail and he's very organized. He's been an invaluable source of council and advisement in governing over our kingdom."

Dally looked over to his wife and saw she had the same expression. They had to admit, they weren't expecting that.

It didn't take long for the group to arrive at the Conference Room. They arrived just in time to see the Council of Twelve entering. They were all being seated by their personal attendants and by Sadida guards. They were also being treated by the waitresses from last time. As the Avita Kingdom royal family appeared all eyes turned to them. Yugo, Armand, Amalia, and Aurora all took their seats in makeshift chairs/thrones. Eva and Dally sat behind parallel to them facing the council members.

All of them then stood up together and bowed to each other as show respect, acknowledging each other's status. Yugo then took this time to greet them. "Welcome, Council of Twelve. I'm glad to see you all arrived safely. Please accept our humblest apologies for keeping you waiting." The other council members didn't seem to mind all that much, but the prince of Brakmar spoke up getting everyone's attention. "I must say your majesty, I was beginning to grow concerned that you weren't coming. I hope everything is alright in this fused kingdom you have here."

Yugo's friends showed their obvious annoyance as did his step-brother and wife. Yugo sighed and said, "I assure you there's no need to worry. Now then, let us begin the meeting. I'm sure you all must have many questions, especially regarding the Sadida Kingdom joining with the Eliatropes to become the Avita Kingdom. I'm also guessing you all are curious to the changes we've made here as well, including the many advancements."

Many of the leaders nodded in response. The leader of the Cra's spoke up and said, "You are right in your assumption King Yugo. I am very interested in learning more about your people and the new knowledge you bring to The World of Twelve." Yugo nodded to her and replied, "Trust my friend, I will share any knowledge you wish to know." She smiled and nodded in response."

The leader of the Osamodas Class spoke up next. "King Yugo, We are glad to here that you and your subjects have rejoined the World of Twelve and you have taken your place as king. We were surprised yet, very happy to here you had joined with Sadida Kingdom who we were also allied with. You can count on our tribe to support you if the need arises." This time Armand spoke up, "I'm glad to here that our kingdom will have your continued support."

It was at this moment that the king of Brakmar spoke up again. "Hmm I have a question sir Yugo and Armand." They turned to him with a questioning look as they waited for his question. " You said, that you would answer any and all questions regarding your new kingdom. Who do we direct our questions to? Which one of you truly represents this kingdom?"

Amalia grumbled as she stood up and said, "We rule this kingdom together as equals. It was the will of the previous king that we lead the Avita kingdom together with Eliatrope and Sadida people as one. Therefore you shall address your questions to all of us." She then turned to her brother and said, "However, if you wish to only direct your questions to one of us, Armand is the oldest and rightful King of the Sadida. You may address your questions to him."

Armand nodded to his sister as he replied, "Thank you sister, however, the same can be said for Yugo. He is the rightful king of the Eliatropes. As such all questions concerning them should directed to him." Yugo smiled and nodded, "Thank you Armand. Everyone, I will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you have towards my people."

Eva couldn't help but smile at Amalia's bravery as she stood up for herself and her brother; she was also quite surprised that Armand spoke in Yugo's defense. After everything had settled down, everyone began to think of questions they would like answered.

The Xelor leader raised his hand as he spoke up, getting everyone to turn to him. "I've noticed that the walls guarding your kingdom have been reinforced with metal as well as some unique technology that I am guessing was provided by your people, Eliatrope King. We've also seen a great few many new machines and buildings throughout the city that are being powered by some kind of energy flowing through the entire kingdom. Would you mind explaining that?"

Yugo turned to Armand, asking if he'd like to explain. He held up his hand and to him saying that he should explain. He nodded and cleared his throat as he began to explain.

"The energy source you spoke of is one all of you are already familiar with. We've been using the Eliacube." That sentence caught everyone's attention and they started listening more closely. "We used the power chamber from the Eliatrope ship, 'The Zinit', to distribute the energy of the cube all over the Avita kingdom. It powers the new defense systems we've prepared & installed as well. The new machines you all saw while passing through the kingdom we use for transportation, construction, & healing. The energy from the Eliacube enhances the abilities of our people allowing them to better tend to their duties and better defend themselves. Not only that, but if used and controlled by skilled hands, has amazing healing properties."

The council grew very excited and listened intently as the young king continued.

"In the recent years, since our union, we've created new vehicles out of stone with the ancient magic of the Eliatrope people. They can't function without a power source, but luckily there are recharge stations all over the kingdom. The vehicles can be taken outside the city, but they have to be powered by the magic and wakfu of the rider. The Eliacube can charge the vehicles for about an hour or so, the same goes for the construction equipment. This has made things much easier for our people and have been helping us greatly. Thankfully the vehicles nor the construction machines take too much energy to function. The amount of energy these things take depends on the size of them individually. So to be on the safe side, the construction work is done in groups. As such, if the machines burn through the energy to quickly, the workers can combine their energy to use the machines temporarily."

Everyone seemed very impressed by this and began to talk amongst themselves with their second in commandos and advisers. One of the council members raised their hand as to be recognized. All turned to see it was the Cra matriarch, and listened carefully. "Your majesties, has this incorporation of technology changed the ways of the Sadida? If I'm mistaken, you were people of the earth, of the land. Has your union benefited both sides and both your people?" Yugo turned to Armand who was already in the process of standing to answer the question as it retained to his people.

Armand cleared his throat as he looked out at the other council members who all had their eyes on him. "While the union of the Sadida and the Eliatropes took some getting used to, their massive knowledge of the worlds beyond the World of Twelves as well as their deeper understanding of the manipulation of Wakfu have been of great aid to our people. Their knowledge of both helped us better understand the power we wielded on a level we never have to the help of the Eliatropes we have begun to produce a higher quantity and better quality fruits, vegetables, and herbs. The Sadida have changed and have grown as individuals and as a people, for now we not only have the ability to understand and manipulate plant life-" Armand took a step back as he pulled back his fist. He then punched the ground, causing the earth to shake and crack beneath him. He then stood up and faced the council, "-but the very earth itself. Thanks to the union we forged with he Eliatropes through my sister and adoptive brother, we have learned to connect the earth beneath our feet as well with the other elements of Gaia. And as you can guess this new ability has many uses, both for every day life as well as self defense. While not all of our people are capable of developing this new ability, a great many of us have, and many of the next generation are being born with this gift."

In the corner the Percedal family gaped in awe at the display of strength from Armand as he literally cracked and shook the earth with just one punch. The same could be said for the council members. Dozens of thoughts began to fly through their minds, many of which were if their people could also grow with the teachings and guidance of the Eliatropes. Soon they all composed themselves and looked back to the kings before them.

Suddenly everyone's attention was called as the sound of clapping echoed through the room. They all turned to see it was the king of Brakmar who was clapping with a smug look on his face. Armand glared at him as he did this and stood up, showing he was taking his turn to speak. The Sadida King sat back down beside his wife and brother listened intently, not forgetting what happened the last time this man spoke at Council Meeting his father hosted.

"Remarkable, truly remarkable. I must say, Sadida or shall I say, the "Avita" kingdom has come quite far in recent years. You've certainly done a better job at improving the kingdom then your last king." That remark struck a very sensitive nerve in the current royal family and their friends. Many of them gritted their teeth or growled in anger. Amalia was about to launch out of her chair, but her husbands hand calmed her fury for the moment. She could feel him gripping her hand tightly as his own anger rose and she calmed down. Armand and Aurora were in the same boat as she held his arm and shoulder to calm his boiling anger.

They listened as he continued, "All these advancements and improvements are indeed fascinating and inspiring. Although I must ask, surely you weren't thinking of leaving the rest of us in the world of twelve out on this move into a greater era. After all, if you've helped the Sadida to grow strong, surely you'd do the same for us all. Of course that would mean access to your machines and research and such." Yugo did not respond and Armand could see he was very annoyed. "Of course, I could understand if you refused. I mean after that incident with Ogrest, I could understand you holding a grudge."

The other members of the council made looks of disappointment and worry, as they flashed back to that fateful day, as none of them came to the Sadida's aid when Ogrest threatened to drown their forests and kingdom. "Still I have to wonder, you all have been rather busy as of late. I've seen the changes as well as the reinforcements you've made to the kingdom, including that large wall out there. I have to wonder, could you all be preparing for something?" Armand glared at the Brakmar king and asked, "Are you trying to suggest something, sir?" He smiled as he said, "Oh no, not at all. I'm just wondering if some of the advancements you've made are in weapons. I mean you did say that the new wall around your land housed defenses and equipment. So tell me, what are the uses for these new machines? Are you perhaps preparing for siege or war? Could you be making this new Avita kingdom into some sort of stronghold? Also let us not forget the Eliacube. We discussed last time how only allowing one kingdom to have possession of it could be dangerous and that some of us should as well. I mean, why have all these defenses and such if not to protect yourselves in a battle with someone else. And what if that someone else happened to be one of us?"

Amalalia could take no more and stood to her feet getting everyone's attention. She then voiced out in pure anger, "That's enough, I will not allow you to throw these accusations around at our people? The Eliatropes and Sadida came together to help each other in the pursuit of peace. The only reason, your voicing such ridiculous conspiracies is because you convinced the rest of the council to turn away from the Eliatropes when they wanted to return here. Now that they've helped us grow you want their power and resources for yourself."

"Well princess I must say, you've done a fine job of contradicting yourself. Whose throwing accusations at whom? If you cannot control your emotions and speak in a civilized manner, perhaps you should sit down and attempt to have some dignity and control. Furthermore, If you do not have anything of value to say Ms. Sadida Queen, it'd be better if you hold your tongue while the kings are talking."

Armand grit his teeth as he heard the disrespect his sister was shown and he was not alone. The entire Percedal family was also brimming with anger, and Eva looked like she was ready to draw her bow at any second, but before any of them could respond, a loud crack caught everyone else's attention. They all turned to King Yugo to see that he had crushed one of the arms of his chair with his grip. He locked eyes with his fellow ruler as he said calmly yet sternly, "King of Brakmar, I advise you to speak to my queen with more respect, less you find out just how much like a dragon I really am." Many of the kings had fear in their eyes as they heard these words. Armand was allow quite surprised, but not by much; he knew how much Yugo cared for his sister, and that like himself, would not allow anyone to disrespect her in his presence. Amalia smiled as she was touched by her husband's actions; said smile turned into a smug grin as she turned to the Bramkmar king, daring him to speak to her like that again.

Luckily for him, he was smart enough to quite while he was ahead.

"Now then. . ." Yugo continued, "I will request that all of you be at ease. These defenses that we have created are simply that, defenses. Tools we can and will use to protect our people if we are under threat. You have my world, we will not be using anything we have created to start any kind of conflict. That being said, should the Avita or any of your kingdoms or your people come under threat, we will act."

The kings, queens, and leaders all looked at each other in both curiosity and slight fear. "The Eliacube belongs to our kingdom and our people. It is not an object we can just give out. In the wrong hands, the cube can have untold consequences, especially in the hands of those who can't control it. Surely you haven't forgotten what happened when it fell into the hands of Nox the Xelor." A brief pause came over them as they remembered the events the "Mad Xelor reeked when the Eliacube came into his possession. "Besides that, as we've previously stated, the Eliacube now powers our defenses and equipment. If one of you were to take it, you'd be putting our people in potential danger, and setting back our work."

The Osamodos Leader spoke up,"I'm afraid I have to agree with King Yugo. Besides the Eliacube is the original property of Eliatropes, therefore only he can give you permission to use it." The others nodded in agreement, much to the annoyance of the king of Brakmar. "Thank you sir Osamodos. That being said," Yugo said, regaining their attention, "It is our full intention to share what we have and what we know with all kingdoms in order for us all to grow, thrive, and reach for a brighter future." He then stood up, followed by Armand, and the two queens. "Let us let go of past events and reach forward to a future where we all can grow, together." The other rulers were in awe of his words, and couldn't help but give honest smiles in return. Each of them stood up (the more greedy tribes, more reluctantly) and bowed in respect to the Avita royal family

The king of Brakmar then spoke up again and asked, "By the way, your majesty. Might I inquire one more thing?" The other rulers turned to him before as they listened for Yugo's response. "Very well, what is your question?" He asked with a serious face, "Might I inquire as to what you've done with the six dofus in your care." Yugo shook his head and replied, "I am currently unaware of the whereabouts of the six dofus. Even if I did know their location, I would not reveal it. Like the Eliacube, those six dofus belong to my people and can only be used by people. They are completely useless to anyone else."

"May I ask why you do not know the whereabouts of the dofus?" Yugo smiled as he said, "Because I entrusted them to someone who promised to keep them safe, and I instructed him not to tell me. The Eliatrope Dofus are under the protection of my brother the Eliatrope Dragon King, Adamai, as well as the other Eliatrope dragons, where they shall remain." The Brakamar grunted in frustration, but backed down as he had nothing else to say. With that Armand smiled and said, "Our friends and allies, we thank you for coming. You are invited to stay in our kingdom and see how much has changed for as long as you like. For those of you that wish to, please inform our guards and they will find a room for you."

With that said they all bowed to each other and headed out of the council chamber. Armand and Aurora left with as well to escort them out and attend to anything else that needed their attention.

Yugo and Amalia then made their way over to the rest of the Brotherhood of the Tofu, and said, "Come my friends. We have much to catch up on."
