"1995?" Percy asked.
"Yes. Now come. Someone would like to speak with you." The fates spoke.
They entered a small coffee shop that was pretty... crappy.
"Who wants to meet me?"
"You'll see."
They saw down Percy at a booth were two people sat with menus in front of them. The fates flashed out without being noticed.
"Hello?" Percy asked the two figures.
"Hello, Perseus." Said the one on the left. Percy tensed at the use of his full name.
The one on the right chuckled. "Don't worry. We are not here to hurt you. If we did you'd already be dead." They put down their menus.
"Who are you?" Percy asked.
"You already know that the Greek gods exist." Said the one on the left.
"Yes."
"Well we are being who are like the Greeks but not them exactly."
Percy blinked.
"I am Death." said the one on the right. "And this lovely lady is Magic."
Percy blinked again.
"We are the personas created by followers of Magic."
"Okay?"
"They're called wizards and they exist throughout the world. However right here in Britain there is a large group."
"Why am I needed for this? I don't know magic." Percy said crossing his arms.
"Well you see. There is a boy. As a baby he defeated a dark lord. However this dark lord is back."
"Wait as a baby this kid beat a dark lord? How?"
"Quite simple. His mother gave her life to save him using an ancient spell. It protected him from him. After the death of his parents, he was sent to live with his aunt and uncle who raised him. However they treated him horribly. He was fed rarely and wore clothes that belonged to his walrus of a cousin." Death said. Magic slapped him on the shoulder.
"Be nice."
"It's true."
"How does this tie in for me?" Percy asked.
"We want you to train him."
"Train him? I don't know magic. How am I supposed to train him?"
"First of all I'm going to give you the ability to use magic." Magic told him. "Second we also need you to train him in fighting with weapons."
"Oh. Okay."
"Now as to how this will happen. He is fifteen and at the wizarding school known as Hogwarts." Magic said.
Instantly Percy snickered and Death joined him.
Magic glared at them. "That's not funny."
"Of course not." Percy said still trying to keep in the laughter.
Rolling her eyes, she was about to continue when Death spoke up.
"You're going to need to know the name of the dark wizard." He said with a big grin.
"Really what is it. Although I'm sure it can't be worse than Hogwarts." Percy said with a laugh.
Death smiled. "It's Voldemort."
Percy blinked.
Death frowned. "I expected you to laugh."
Percy slowly smiled, then snickered and finally just laughed. "Who names there kid, Voldemort?"
"Well actually he was named Tom Marvolo Riddle."
Percy sobered up. "He named himself, Voldemort?"
"Yes. Now," Magic snapped her hands and a bag with some other stuff appeared in front of Percy. "This includes your ticket to Platform Nine and 3/4, just run at the wall in between Platforms Nine and Ten at Kings Cross Station. There is also a bag of galleons from an account we set up for you in Gringotts, ask for the Jackson Vault, you're key is in there. Buy all the supplies in the letter I supplied you with. You will be in sixth year, so a year about Harry. Also term starts on September 1st. Am I missing anything, Death?"
"Yeah don't stare when you get to Gringotts."
"Why."
"You'll see."
"Now we're going to transport you to Diagon Alley, which is where you will go to Gringotts and get you're supplies." Magic said standing up.
"Wait. Where will I be staying?"
"We'll get you a room at the Leaky Cauldron, which is at the opposite end of the Alley from Gringotts. Have fun." Death said before Magic snapped her fingers and Percy disappeared.
Told you I wouldn't abandon this. But sorry it took so long. My computer screen broke and I haven't been able to get a fix it, but now I'm back.
