Hello everyone. It is I, again with another one.
This is a MikuoxRin, MikuxRin, and LenxRin
Disclaimer: I do not own Vocaloid or fanloid, they belong to Yamaha and the fans who made them (And crypton since this is with cryptonloids)
Warning: Swearing I guess
"...Hello? Rin is that you? *sniff*"
I was on my bed, calling Miku if she would go outside to hang out. Sounds like she's sick. Hopefully things are going to be okay. "Yeah it's me! Whatcha doing?" I chirped at her.
She coughed,"*Hah*... I just had a cold, nothing else" she told me.
She thought I would calm down and say 'Oh okay! I hope you feel better', but this is Miku we're talking about. I feel worried about her 24/7 and I know she'll help me when I feel sick next time. (Minus the fact that the last time I was sick, Len came that time).
"OH HELL NO! You think I would go on and forget about you!? I am now YOUR caregiver!" I half yelled on my phone. "N-No! You don't need to! I already got-"
I hung up the phone already getting ready to help Miku. I ran all the way to Miku's place as fast as I can to get there. I barged in the door and up to Miku's room, forgetting to take my shoes off.
"Miku! Are you okay!? I'm here to-"
"O-oh! Uh... good afternoon?"
I looked to see Miku's cousin, who I had seen before in the new years party. "Ah... You must be... Mikuo?" I guessed. He nodded quietly at me, his face turned to face Miku.
"Oh sorry about that..." Miku smiled weakly at me trying to clarify things, " My cousin is taking care of me today." I looked at her, then at Mikuo, then back at Miku, who's on her bed. "You mean the one who's terrible at cooking? That guy?"
Mikuo flinched at that question. Yeah I remembered what happened. He accidentally poisoned everyone in the room when he served us dinner for new years eve. Miku was the smart one throwing away the food, while I had to vomit that disgusting thing down the trash bag, since Meiko was so drunk.
I shivered at the memory and walked towards him. He flinched again as I bend down to his level. "You know what," I took a deep breath and stared at him. "I'll help you, Mikuo" After I said that, he just leaned towards me with his eyes closed.
I dodged that, since it was weird. "You don't need to kiss me. We don't know each other yet," told him, who looked confused on what's going on. Miku giggled at the scene and laid back down on her bed. "You two would make a cute couple someday," She smiled, "But then again... There's Len too..."
"What are you thinking? You know I would go out with you if no other guys would chose me," I smirked at her, she giggled at that again. "...You...You like girls?" Mikuo asked me. I smiled at him "I don't know... I'm just a hopeless romantic."
"She's bisexual, so you still have a chance, Mikuo," Miku winked at him, unaware that I already left to make rice pudding for her. I went downstairs to grab the ingredients and place them on a counter.
As I started cooking, Mikuo came here to help. "Uhm... You know what you're doing right?"
"Yep! I taught myself," I turned to him. He smiled softly staring at me like a lovesick puppy, grabbed the salt shaker, and opened it so he can pour it down. Thank god it spilled on the floor. I ignored him and continued to cook.
Things started to get really awkward (not to mention very uncomfortable), "So uh... remember last year? When we tried to find a place to throw up at?" I asked him. He stopped pouring the salt and looked at me confused.
"Huh? What do you mean?" He asked me. "Well, usually a friend of mine just goes to the washroom if he ate... that," I explained "So how come he-"
"Yeah, he passed out"
What?
So you're telling me, Len passed out that time? What is Mikuo? Another Teiru?
"B-but I didn't mean it, he just ate it like he knows nothing bad would happen" He defended. "Yeah, you really are a bad cook..."
"I guess your brother is trying his best to cheer me up," Mikuo smiled. What brother? I don't remember having one. Oh wait-
"I don't have a brother," I corrected him. "Oh, so he's your cousin. My bad" Mikuo smiled again. Yeah I have one cousin, but he's not with me all the time. "But my cousin didn't came to the new years party," I said while making sure the foods ready.
"Wait... He's your son!?" Mikuo cried.
"Do I look like a mother?"
"Well, you do look like a good wife," He said. Wife? But who? And how? Mikuo's face was completely red after he said that. "F-f-for someone! I-I know it's not that guy! He's related to you in someway, r-r-right!?" He stammered.
"Yeah we look alike," I clarified "But we're not related. I only go by Rin Kagamine because... uh..."
"So He's your husband!?" Mikuo cried again, though it looked like he was sad. "What No! I Just go by it because... I don't know I just go by it!" What's up with his assumptions?
"Ah... Okay," Mikuo sighed with relief, while I was panicking on the inside. To be honest, I don't even want to talk about something so personal. "Rin, the pudding's ready," Mikuo poured the food into the bowl and went upstairs.
I stayed downstairs, feeling embarrassed about those weird assumptions. But let's be honest. It was funny.
"What took you so long?! I felt like passing out right now!" Miku scolded us, while eating the pudding I made. She seemed to like it. "Rin, this tastes so good," Miku moaned after one bite. I blushed at her reaction. It's cute to see her this way.
"So, I asked Len if he's coming over to hang out at my place,"
Miku, don't do this to me. You don't need to mention him again.
"And he said yes!" She smiled. I can't read her expression due to the fact this is the only expression she gives to others when hanging out with other people. "Um, who's this Len guy?" Mikuo raised his hand.
"Rin's boy toy" Miku teased, with that same expression on her face.
"Miku shut the fuck up. We are not dating"
"You're funny. I always see you hanging out with him," Miku smiled.
I looked at her. Isn't that what we always do?
"Miku... Stop playing around with my feelings," Mikuo frowned. Now that I think about it, Miku and Mikuo's eyes looked like they are closed. Family genetics huh?
"Hey wait, you're feeling better that quickly?!" I shouted. I couldn't help myself, I was shocked.
"Yes I am. Thanks for the help," She smiled at both of us.
"Actually, you should thank him," I turned and soften my expression at Mikuo "He's the one who helped you first, and he deserved to be appreciated." Mikuo blushed at this, "Th...Thanks."
I put my hands on his shoulders and grinned at him. "Y'know, we might make a cool duo together!" Mikuo blushed further and turned away from me. I find it cute. I think we would become good friends.
"Cool...Duo?"
I heard a voice not coming from Mikuo, nor Miku, but a certain someone I may have known my entire life.
"Rin? What's the meaning of this?"
I turned to see the idiot himself.
"Yo," I greeted him casually. As if nothing happened.
"So... This is your brother?" Mikuo asked me and then greeted Len "It's a pleasure to meet you." "The pleasure is all mine..." I can't tell if he's being sarcastic or mad.
"And what makes you think Rin's my sister? She's my partner in crime. Not yours," He glared at Mikuo. Miku's having a fun time watching this, while I on the other hand wondered what made him so jealous.
"Calm down Len. I haven't seen you take care of someone before," I smiled mocking him. He glared at me. "So you're forgetting that time when-"
"Don't" Miku warned him.
"This lad staring at you-"
Mikuo looked to Len then back at me, then back to Len. I knew what he was gonna use against me, but thank god Mikuo saved me from the secret that was about to be revealed.
"Please stop. I don't think it's okay to go into people's business," He frowned at Len, who glared back at him.
"Yeah... But it's true that Len did bathe with her two days ago," Miku smiled.
This bitch.
Mikuo's eyes widened, "You two... BATHED together!? At this age!?" It was embarrassing. Mentioning this event would give me a mental breakdown.
"This guy's into incest... And he thinks he can get away with it..."
"Mikuo I swear to God... We aren't r-"
I covered my mouth before finishing the sentence. It sounds a bit too wrong if I mention that. Len smirked at me. This is what I get for 'hurting his feelings'.
"Hmph, I thought Len would keep that mouth of his shut so I won't tell him his secret," I thought out loud. Loud enough for him to hear. Problem is, I don't even know his embarrassing moment. I think it's time to guess.
"...Like how back at his place, he's the little shota in a house full of older siblings!" I just guessed.
Miku and Mikuo stared at Len. Len glared at me, "How did you know I have older siblings?"
Huh... So I was right.
"Well, it was a guess. I'm only trying to get back at you," I shrugged "Thanks for exposing yourself! Your such a sweetheart."
Everything went silent. I don't know what else to say since there's nothing else I can do. Miku stood up on her bed and left the room, leaving me with Len and Mikuo. This is getting awkward. Hopefully someone in this room doesn't say anything stupid or something.
Because Mikuo did say something stupid. He still thinks we're related...
"So your Rin's brother from the New Years party?"
"What the fuck? I'm not her brother," Len reminded Mikuo. "Step brother then."
"I said-"
"Listen here, Len. I don't want you near her anymore," Mikuo grabbed on to me. I am in confusion. I don't even have parents, since they're dead. "I never said we're step siblings either, buddy."
Len looked pissed right now. Really pissed.
"Well, you do look like step-siblings to me. Rin having blue eyes while you have green eyes," Mikuo glared back at Len. I don't get it at all. I don't even have parents.
"Is this your excuse to make her like you?" Len muttered. Miku came back with a cup filled with sticks. "I wanted to invite the others to play a game of king but since it's just the four of us, we should try it ourselves."
And thus, the game had begun.
"Thanks for inviting me, Miku" Len said as he was at the front door with me. I was fidgeting with my bow. The game wasn't that extreme, but it was fun at least. "Oh and Rin!" Mikuo called my name.
I turned around to face him. "Just be careful around him," he smiled. I stopped the urge to roll my eyes and nodded. We waved goodbye to the Hatsunes and made our journey to walk home.
"So, Len. What did you think of Mikuo?" I asked him. He turned to face me, and turned back to face forward. "I... just don't like him." That's his answer.
I can see why. He's more of the jealous type.
"Oh so your a selfish pig" I teased.
"Wh-what are you talking about?" Len stammered, "I'm not selfish..." Yeah right! He clearly is jealous that I have a new partner.
"Selfish pig," I snickered. He flushed at that insult. "Shut up..."
I laughed at him for a few minutes and smiled, "Well, you're still my partner in crime." Hopefully that would cheer him up. And that worked. (Minus the fact that he wanted to hold my hand. I can tell.)
The walk from home was relaxing. Except when I'm home.
"I'm back you dipshits."
"About time! I thought we were going to leave you alone!"
"Wait! Don't tell me! You went on a date with that guy again!?"
I ignored that question and went to my room. I don't feel like going outside today. I already feel tired. Maybe I'll go the next night.
Ok, this is one of my favourite ones so far.
(I love the humour there. And this is the first time I ever just like one of my old work)
By the way, this was the time when Len didn't knew about Neru or Lily until later.
And yes, Rin hates going to her sister's home. Or even...Nah, I ain't spoiling it.
