When we first heard of this warrior it was his Final Fight, his most difficult fight. But now we must take a step back in time, to when this Warrior had Barely Begun. His armor shined brightly in the setting Sun, his mace strung on his waist, as the Sun hit the horizon The Warrior stiffened as a terrible chill ran down his spine. James walked up to him "Hey what's wrong I can tell something wrong." The worried tone his friend used caused The Warrior to frown more.
"Friend I need to head out of our little housing area. I have a bad feeling about tonight." The Warrior spoke slowly and assuredly his deep voice resonating out through the evening. The Warriors Mace flashed through the air and crushed a Demon Eye that flew too close. As he strode out of the slowly budding town his weird feeling spread more and more.
As the night finally fell fully a thunderous Roaring scream shook the earth. The screaming roar proceeded a Gargantuan Eye. The Warrior was stunned not once had he ever witnessed something this large, but here it was a monster of sizes he had never known before. With a start he jumped out of the way of the eyes charge. With a sloppy roll The Warrior stood back up his mace already spinning in his hand with a surge he sent his Mace flying through the air with a squirt of weird fluid the eye turned and took the Mace to the Pupil.
The Monstrous being seemed to rear back from the impact of the Mace. With a screech the Eye flew forward and rammed The Warrior sending him flying off his feet cracking his armor from the force. A groaning Armor covered man sat up his vision dancing as the Eye Loomed above him. He knew he couldn't stay still his body couldn't take too many more of those hits. He rolled out of the way as several smaller eyes seemed to melt out of the larger monster.
His mace was spinning around him in circles, Smashing the tiny creatures out of the air as he advanced towards his goal. With a grunt he threw the head of the mace back at the eye once more. It seemed hours later of the same tactic the eye started spinning, he hoped it was how this thing died it stopped spinning slowly The Warrior watch as a line seemed to split along the line. Letting out a sigh The Warrior slowly turned around thinking it was over until an unnatural Screaming roar split the night.
Spinning around in almost fear the warrior looked at the now transformed eye. It didn't even look like an eye anymore, it had changed that line that he had seen was now a mouth a large mouth with very very sharp teeth. Shaking h himself out of his stupor the being induced in him the warrior jumped to the side as the screeching beast hurled past him at mind boggling speeds. Barely keeping up now The Warrior noticed how different this beast was at this point in the fight.
Where before it would bruise or break something when it impacted now it sliced and slashed, with its teeth groaning The Warrior knew how long this night was going to be. And with a surge He leapt back into the fight, his first of many great fights. As dawn broke over the horizon The Warrior stood Victorious as the Smoking corpse of The Eye of Cthulhu burned away in the light of the sun. The Warrior looked and saw laying there with the horrible image of the eyes second stage a shield.
As he hefted the shield he grunted the soreness in his muscles not helping him lift the shockingly heavy shield. He grinned under his shining armor covered in the blood of the monster, at least he got something cool out of this fight. He went to take a step forward, his form blurred and then smashed into the side of a hill flopping to the ground he groaned "Not my finest Moment to be honest." He muttered to himself as he stood up and swung the shield over his back instead hoping whatever power from the monster was imbued in it would activate again as he began his trek home on this fine day.
As the story finished the faces of small children looked upon the same older man as before just as enthralled with his story as they had been with the first he told. The old man grinned at them. "See children I told you of his greatest Battle and now his first True Battle. Maybe I will come back and tell you of more of his battles as there are many more. That is if you stay well behaved." His deep voice flowed over them as he stood. The children snapping out of their amazement proceeded to tell him how good they would be. He smiled at them as he left heading home once more.
A/N: Been a while hasn't it, Listen I'll be honest I barely had the motivation to finish this installment in The Warrior I know I said it would be a one shot but I grew to like this story idea so I will write some more every now and then. The reason why I haven't had the motivation to write much is that I'm moving soon. Trust me I'll try to write more and get a chapter out for the other stories. Just give me some time. Thanks all who show up and read this chapter!
