While Glynda Goodwitch comes off more strict, Mable Oak, a bear Faunus with long brown hair tanned skin hazel eyes, was… a teddy bear as most called her.
This opinion was shared by the new students.
Or at least the majority that understood her, a few struggling to understand her. One such student was Cecilia Dumas(No relation), a short French student with short blonde hair, blue eyes.
"E-excuse me," Cecilia decided to call one of the other students, the girl with a red cloak, Ruby, who turned to look at the girl. "C-can you help me? Comment dire… Madam Oak's speed… talking? I am struggling to… u-understand? Yes, understand."
Ruby seemed a little surprised by the girl talking to her, it was the first time Ruby met someone who couldn't speak English, which was going to happen a lot now. "Speed talking? Do you mean Ms. Oak's talking too fast?"
"Oui!" Cecilia jumped where she stood. "I am struggling to understand, speaking too fast."
"Oh, she's just explaining just things about the campus, don't worry," Ruby assured the girl. She took a look at her jacket and looked at the flag, "You're… Russian?" Ruby guessed, she knew France's flag was red white and blue, but so was Russia's.
"Ah, Marci,"Cecilia said, smiling and holding back a chuckle. "I am actually
Français, French, not Russian. Our flags look somewhat similar, but not the same. Sorry for bothering you."
Ruby shook her "No it's fine. I'm Ruby by the way, Ruby Rose!" she extended her hand to the girl.
"Cecilia Dumas, no relation," the short blonde smiled back to Ruby, accepting her hand.
"Relation to who?" Ruby asked.
"Alright everyone," Ms. Oak called to everyone, "just look for your names, it'll have your new dorm rooms and after that you'll join your new units. Your stuff will be dropped off in your new room."
"Good lucky mon amie!" Cecilia waved Ruby goodbye, leaving the reaper by herself.
Ruby would eventually eventually find her room, but what she soon would hear worried her. Hearing a few students referring to them as "Fresh meat" which made Ruby a little anxious.
But Ruby couldn't worry now! She will be meeting her new team soon, and they'll become friends! And have lots of fun! And things will be awesome!
Or at least that's what she hoped.
From what Ruby understood, each unit was made of 16 people, each from the same year, and made of students from all over Earth, and for Ruby and a few other cases Remnant as well.
"Let's see… rooms are shared between two people, on a floor with eight rooms and a common room, and I'm in room H-303… Oum, this place might be bigger than the main campus," Ruby muttered, "but, this should be it!"
And here she was, Dorm H. Hopefully she'll be fine. Nothing bad will happen, she's sure of it!
"You bloody Yankee! Stop trying to scare the new students!" oh God, that American and British guy was here. "You as well Yu! Don't try anything!"
Ruby took in a deep breath. Okay, things won't be that easy, but not doing anything won't result in anything!
Ruby walked in, and what was she greeted with? A scene with Alex being covered in water with ice scattering the floor, Arthur standing on top of him, wearing what Ruby would soon learn was his trademark red coat, and Yu holding back laughter.
"Why can't you let me have nice things, ya damn red coat!" Alex yelled at Arthur. "Yu! Help me!"
"Yamenaide, kore wa omoshiro sugiru!(Don't stop, this is too funny!)" Yu said, laughing so hard she started to cough.
Ruby didn't know what was happening. "Um… hello?" Ruby called out, getting their attention. "I-I'm Ruby… I'm looking for the third year team here?"
The three students looked at one another, then looked at Ruby. Arthur picked Alex up, and Yu managed to collect herself.
"Hello Rose-San, good to see you again," Yu greeted her. "Didn't expect you'd be Nevo's replacement."
"You know her Yu?" Alex asked.
The Japanese student nodded her head, "Yes, me and Mathew met her and another student."
"Nice to meet you, Ruby was it? I'm Arthur Ride, a student from England of the United Kingdom," he then pointed to Alex, "And this is Yankee Sam, he's an idiot."
"Oh, shut up!" Alex yelled. "I'm Alex Delgado, not Yankee Sam, and I'm from California, U.S.A.," he said, extending a hand. "Don't mind this tea loving red coat. You are, unfortunately, in the same unit as him, but luckily you have people who aren't as bad as him, Yu and me!"
"Oh, shut up, oil lover!"
Yu walked up to Ruby, grabbing her by the arm. "They'll be like that for a while, come on, I'll introduce you to the rest of our unit."
Over the next hour, Ruby would be introduced by Yu to the rest of the unit. There was Kim Sun-Hee, a South Korean student, and then there was Yuri Volkov, a Russian student who was with a German and French student Lorielei Weber who was half Remnant which was obvious due to her light blue hair and green eyes, along with Frances Laurent.
And within the time she spent with her unit, she learnt about a funny relationship with three of the members, Frances seemed to get along with Alex, yet while Alex seemed to have some a somewhat friendly relationship with Arthur, Frances and the British student seemed to be moments away from actually fighting.
Ruby also got to learn more about her other members like Sun-Hee and Yoon, who both seemed to love playing video games together along with Yuri, who seemed to be able to get everyone to shut up at the drop of a hat, maybe it was because everyone respected(feared) him.
Overall, today was a good day for her.
Whitley's day wasn't the best. His team was made either overly loud individuals or they were super standoffish. Though Mathew was in his team, that made things a little better for him. So Whitley decided to stick to a familiar face.
"Hey Whitley! Mathew!" Ruby greeted the youngest Schnee with glee, Alex, Yu, and Arthur following behind her, "How are things going?"
"Ruby, good to see you," Whitley greeted, "I see you're with your unit?" he said.
"Well, Yu isn't in our unit, but yeah. How are things going for you?" Ruby asked.
Mathew snickered at his new "Whitey got a Irish kid mad at him," much to the dislike.
"I'm sorry, but I didn't know that Irelands and Scotland were in different countries!" Whitley said, giving Mathew a glare. "I'm sorry we Schnee's don't pay attention to your world."
"Sure, sure," Mathew chuckled. "And Brits didn't try to take over the world for better food, only to not use it."
"I resent that!"
"Whitley?" a voice called, the young Schnee looked at his older sister.
"Ah, sister," Whitley took in a breath then put on a smile, "How was your day? Excited for initiation? For teams? How's that going to go?" Whitley asked.
"Just fine," Weiss said, looking at those around her brother, "and I see you're associating with… Terrans." Weiss's words got a reaction out of the people of Earth, even the constantly bickering American and Brit, looked at each other then at Weiss.
Whitley sighed, "Yes, they make up a majority of my classmates. Now then, let's eat breakfast," he said, walking off with his sister.
"Well… I hope no Terran is on her," Mathew muttered under his breath, getting nods and muttered agreements
"Probably would call us walking talking monkey's," Alex said in a joking tone, getting a punch from Arthur, though getting a chuckle from the others, everyone except Ruby.
"Why would she call you monkey's?" Ruby asked, Ozpin had mentioned it once before but she didn't exactly understand why he said that and what he ment.
The Terran students looked at Ruby, "Want a simplified version?" Mathew asked, "Alright, long story short humans from Earth evolved from apes."
The news about evolution shocked Ruby, not that she thought about something like that was unbelievable, but she thought, "Really?! That's so cool! You guys actually evolved from apes?"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, survival of the fittest, our jaws have also gotten smaller and have caused dental issues, but that's not important! What is important, is that girl eating pancakes!" Alex said, pointing to a ginger haired girl eating a mountain of pancakes.
"Dear gods, she is eating more than Americans," Mathew said, throwing shade at the Americans. "Quick, we must get a seat by her!" the Aussie said, running off with a tray.
"Whitley, you shouldn't be associating with them," Weiss didn't seem to be in a good mood, then again, Whitlet couldn't really remember the last time she was in a genuine good mood. "We're Schnee's, we shouldn't be associating with monkey's who's only real talent is finding new creative ways to kill each other."
Whitley only let out a sigh, nodding along. He didn't want to deal with this. He only was here due to father wanting to make good publicity with the Terrans, but still, despite that Whitley wanted at least to enjoy his stay away from his father, even if he hung out with monkey's who's true talent was killing one another.
"Weiss, whoever I associate with isn't your concern," Whitley said, eating his food, "and I would have to be with them regardless of my want. They make up a majority of my school."
That got Weiss upset, her letting out a scoff, "Shouldn't you be getting ready for class soon?"
Whitley gave a chuckle, "Oh, didn't you know? We start school next week, for the first few days is used for settling in. Now, sister, I am going to my unit, I have to smooth something out with an Irish student."
"This is ridiculous, I don't remember putting my stuff in locker 636 yesterday!" Jaune Arc, a young soon to be huntsmen in training looked around, honestly he couldn't remember much after being shot out of one of those rocket lockers. "Gah, where is it?"
"Just up ahead!" a voice said behind him. "Sup Elton!" Jaune turned around, behind him was a girl with tanned skin shoulder length brown hair with blonde highlights , if Jaune was right, she had a faint Italian accent.
"Elton?" Jaune asked, "My name isn't Elton, it's Jaune," Jaune said, which made the Italian girl start laughing.
The Italian girl kept snickering, "So your name is John? Oh, this joke is very funny!" she kept snickering. "Come, my locker is by yours. I'm Annie Boita, if you can't tell, I'm from Italy," Annie introduced herself. "Anyways Elton, I'm the one who called for your help when you got pushed into a locker, mister Rocket Man."
Jaune seemed confused by her but decided to follow. "Well, my real name is Jaune Arc, short, sweet, rolls off the tongue, ladies love it," Jaune said. If he does as his father said, he'll definitely do good here.
"Do they?" Annie raised an eyebrow. "And Jaune Arc? Like Jeanne d'Arc? The saint?" Annie questioned.
"W-well, my mom said women like confidence, so you know, I thought I'd be confident," Jaune muttered, feeling a blow to his not so big ego.
The Italian girl just sighed, "I don't think she meant false bravado, more about confidence in yourself," Annie said, putting on odd looking combat boots. "Just be yourself."
Jaune thought about it before smiling, "Maybe you're right, thanks Annie!" he said, taking her hand and shaking it.
What Jaune didn't notice was the look of both fear and aw around him. Terran students watched as Jaune Arc shook hands with the one who earned the name the Next Caesar. Three time victor of the Beacon World War.
"Will all first year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation, please. Again, will all first year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation," Professor Goodwitch said.
"Well, we gotta get going!" in her entire combat gear. Long dusty brown cloak, covering her breast plate, her legs protected by leg armor and steel toed combat boots, her weapon of choice was a simple mechashifting weapon, a glaive that could extend and retract into a sword.
"For years, you have trained to become warriors. And today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest. Now Miss Goodwitch, if you would," Ozpin gave the speech over to Glynda.
"Now, many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams, but unlike our training academy, you will have more say in your team than just a computer. You'll be receiving your teammates, today."
Ozpin spoke, "These teams will be with you for your entirety at Beacon. So for your best interest, pair with someone you can work well with. Now, that being said, the first person you make eye contact with will be your partner for the next four years. After you partnered up, make your way north. You will meet many opposition's along the way. Do not hesitate to kill, because if you do, it will not hesitate to kill you instead." Ozpin's words got verifying reactions from the students, Jaune swallowing air.
"You will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation, there will be no hand holding, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple, at the end of the path containing several… relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately."
"Any question?"
"Yeah," Jaune raised his hand.
"Good, now take your positions," Ozpin told his students, and his favorite toy was off.
"So.. um, what is this landing strategy?" Jaune asked, "Will we be dropped off, or something?" Jaune asked.
"No, you will be falling," Ozpin said.
"Elton," Annie tapped, as he turned he saw the launch pads flinging students off the cliff. "Not good at landing?" she asked, getting a scared nod from the blonde. Annie looked back, thankfully there was a good amount of students between them, "alright, hand me your scroll."
"What?" Jaune asked, confused as to what was happening.
"Just do it, scemo!" Annie told him, which he quickly complied with, swiping it out of his hand, she tapped a few things on his scroll. "Alright, when you're up in the air, press okay. Your locker should come out and help you go to a safe place to land, like a punch of trees," she said, handing his scroll back. "Understand?"
"Y-yes?" Jaune responded.
Soon their time had come, and soon Annie followed by Jaune got launched into the air.
And following Annie's instructions, he pressed okay, and he could see his rocket locker being launched out of the school. Lucky for him the cliff was by the locker rooms.
Though soon after he latched himself to the rocket, he released something.
He couldn't go.
"AHHHH!"
"Are you sure that Ms Boita helping out Mr Arc was a good idea?" Glynda asked, looking at the young man who just got hit by a flying javelin, which could be heard hitting a tree, with a following thank you and sorry.
"Glynda, haven't you learned? It would make bad internment to NOT have him on a rocket propelled rocket.
Glynda sighed, "You are hopeless sir," she muttered.
"D-did he use a rocket to propel himself?" Alex muttered.
"Yep… and he was talking to the Next Caesar…" Yu said, watching in some horror. "I don't envy our upperclassmen. She's a scary Italian."
"The Next Caesar?" Ruby asked, watching the TV play as they watched the initiation. "Who's that?" All eyes looked at Ruby as if she said the sky was green. "What?"
"Ruby, Annie "Next Caesar" Boita is the first three time winner of the Beacon World War!" Sun-Hee said to the young reaper, going right to her face. "She managed to take down the Red White and Blue Alliance by herself! That's twenty five percent of the student body!"
"Her eyes…" Arthur's voice was all but a muffle. "She defeated us all. And those words didn't leave me for weeks!"
"W-wait, who is she?" Ruby asked, "Who are the Red White and Blue Alliance? What's the Beacon World War?!"
"Kid, she's probably one of the most powerful students on campus," Yuri said. "And the Beacon World War is a tradition we do, every year we have a war of the countries, and the R.W.B.A. was an alliance to keep Annie from getting her third win. We got defeated with ease."
A brief moment of quiet was shared between the American, British, French, and Russian students.
The silence was broken by Lorelei who grabbed the remote. "Wanna watch some Hell's Kitchen?"
"Oh, hell yeah/Sure/Better than some people running for their lives/YES!" multiple people agreed.
"What's Hell's Kitchen?" Ruby asked, and like earlier, she looked like she asked what was the name of the kingdom they were in.
"We're watching Hell's Kitchen," Alex said, grabbing the remote.
Annie had made it her mission to find Jaune, it was obvious he was over his head, and she wouldn't let Rocket Man die! Not on the name of Elton John!
The problem was that when she launched she planned on landing by Jaune's locker. What she didn't plan on was whoever it was launching him off the locker. She saw the javelin and where Jaune went with it, but the only question was will she get there first
She needed to hurry.
Holding a few fingers so she didn't see anyone's face at first glance should help a little.
Admittedly, throwing her main weapon wasn't the wise decision, but that boy looked like a scared kitten. All she could hope for was that she didn't make a mistake. Pyrrha just hoped she didn't get partnered with the Schnee or someone who just wanted her for fame.
Though she knew what she'd probably have to deal with. She'd have a fan that'd say "Oh, you're Pyrrha! I'm so lucky to be on a team with someone as cool as you!" and something like that.
She didn't want that though! Just have normal friends who don't know you're famous! Was that so hard to ask?!
She couldn't believe her luck.
First she had to keep spending time with her father's mini-me, then she found out after she thought would have freedom that she'd also be attending Beacon with her, she then found her brother associating with those… monkeys! She knew if Father knew he was actually associating with them she'd get an earful, and now she couldn't find a partner in these Grimm infested woods. She'd be damned if she failed because her luck had decided to toy with her.
She was a Schnee, and Schnee's didn't fail.
"Hello!" a voice called. "Someone?" it was coming from behind the bushes! She'd finally get a partner. Pyrrha would have been more acceptable, but if it meant passing, she'd be fine.
She thought that till she saw the person calling out voice. A blonde boy stuck in the tree. He couldn't even get out.
She was not going to have a useless partner.
"Hey! Wait!" the boy saw her! Okay, the best she could do is just ignore her. "Please help me!"
"Don't worry Elton John! I'm here!" someone yelled, and they were running fast. Too fast!
"Watch out!" Weiss yelled.
"SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!" Pyrrha didn't know what she was hearing, but someone sounded angry. And they were close, but Pyrrha had other things to take care of.
"Hello," Pyrrha waved. "Do you know what's going on?"
"I'M SORRY ELTON JOHN!" Annie yelled.
"WILL YOU BE QUIET!" Weiss yelled back.
"Someone I know…" Jaune said, looking at the direction of Annie and Weiss. "So, mind bring me down? I'm stuck and this is very uncomfortable."
"One second," Pyrrha said, letting Jaune off the tree.
As Pyrrha got Jaune down, the yell had subsided and the two had moved over to Pyrrha and. now on the ground, Jaune. Both Weiss and Annie's jaws would have dropped.
"Pyrrha, good to see you!" Weiss greeted the Invincible Girl, who put on a smile.
"Hello again!" she greeted. "I see you found your partner." If Pyrrha could, she'd do a victory fist pump.
"Elton! Are you okay? Did you get hurt?" she asked, looking over him.
"I'm fine, also my name is Jaune," Jaune corrected.
"I like Roshni," Ruby muttered as they were watching Hell's Kitchen season 10. "Hey, how do you think that rocket guy is doing?" Ruby questioned. "Think he's doing alright?"
"One way to find ou-AAHHH! She's there! The Next Caesar!" Yuri yelled. She, Weiss, a blonde boy and red haired girl.
"Hey! It's Whitley's sister, Weiss!" Ruby said pointing at the screen.
"Oh yeah…" Arthur said, not even an hour ago the Earth students could figure she liked them. "I feel sorry for whoever is her partner."
"Hey, Rose. Isn't your sister also doing initiation? Why don't we try checking for her?" Yu asked, tossing Ruby the remote.
"Really? Sure!" Ruby flipped through the camera's, which all had students on them till she landed on one of a blonde brawler fighting a Ursa. "Go Yang!"
"That's your sister?" Lorelei asked. "You look nothing alike. Is she your half or step shwester?"
"Half," Ruby answered, looking back at the scene, Yang had found a partner, a girl in black and white with a bow. Now Ruby would have not thought anything about it, but the reaction from Frances caught her attention.
"No way!" he yelled, pointing at the screen. "That's Blake Belladonna!"
"Who? Is she some important Earth student like Annie?"
"No, she's from Remnant. She's the daughter of Ghira Belladonna, the founder of the White Fang, before they went all terrorist under the rule of Sienna Khan, but anyways. Blake is basically fucking Faunus Royalty!" Frances said.
"How the hell do you know all that?" Arthur asked.
"I had to write a report on Remnant history and decided to do it on the Faunus Rights. I did research on the life of Ghira to help and found out about his life!" Frances said with pride.
"Hey! Commercials are done! Hell's Kitchen is back!" Alex yelled, taking the remote.
"This way! No, wait. This way!" Weiss said, as if she knew what direction they should be going.
"Weiss, maybe it's time for use to admit we're lost," Jaune said, looking around.
"We're lost," Annie said, laying on the dirty grassy floor. "She just won't admit it," Annie glared at the heiress.
"I know where we are going!" Weiss said, stopping a foot.
"Oh? And where is that? Because that push with Elton's dumb walking stick is right there!" Annie yelled, pointing at the bush with a stick that could possibly be a walking stick broken in half.
"I thought that looked familiar," Jaune mumbled to himself.
"Now, now, calm down everyone," Pyrrha tried to be civil. "Annie, I'm sure Weiss is trying her best."
"Well her best is getting us lost," Annie said, getting up from the floor. "Greek looking girl, boost me up that tree," she said, pointing to the tree behind her.
"Hey! Do you know who you're talking to?" Weiss glared at her partner. How could she act no nonchalantly when in the presence of both herself and Pyrrha Nikos!
"Not really? Is she someone important?" she asked, climbing the tree. It took everything Pyrrha could to not drop Annie. Why?! Why could she be her partner! "Cuz, unless I find ya interesting on T.V. or the radio I don't really care."
"She's Pyrrha Nikos! She graduated top of her class at Sanctum!"
"Never heard of it!" Annie said, getting a snicker out of Jaune.
"She won the Mistral Regional Tournaments four years in the row!"
"Impressive! But still don't know or really care about who she is! No offense," Annie said below her.
"None taken," Pyrrha would gladly commit murder right now to have Annie as a partner!
"She's on the front of every Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flakes box!" Weiss used the last bit of knowledge she knew to try and get a reaction out of Annie.
Annie popped her head down, looking at them, "My favorite cereal is Cinnamon Toast Crunch, so that means nothing!"
"Ah! That's you!" Jaune said in amazement, "They only do that for star athletes and cartoon characters!"
Okay, Pyrrha could work with Jaune and get along. He didn't seem to know her enough to be annoying! She'll be fine. "Yeah… It was pretty cool. But the cereal isn't that good for you."
"That's what got your reaction?!" Weiss yelled. Her partner was an idiotic monkey and Pyrrha's was a complete dolt!
"We can pick this up later! I know where we're heading!" Annie said. "North is that way, with the walking stick! Tally ho!"
"How do you know it's that way?" Weiss asked skeptically.
"We're in the northern hemisphere, it is ten twenty eight. And we can see the sun is in the east. North," Annie said, walking on ahead.
"So… wanna tell each other about ourselves?" Jaune asked. "It'd be good for the future."
Weiss didn't want to dignify the dolt with a response, but both Pyrrha and Annie both agreed.
"Alright, well for introduction's, I'll go first!" Annie said, raising her hand with glee. "I'm Annie Boita! I come from Rome, Italy, the country that looks like a boot. My weapons consist of my glaive, which I call Veni Vidi Vici, it can also mechashift into a sword and my jet combat boots," she said, hitting her boots with her glaive. Oh, and my semblance is just a speed semblance I call it Overclock, though I have been able to get to Mach 2 once."
"Interesting," Pyrrha said. "Well, hello, I'm Pyrrha. I'm from Argus in Mistral. My weapons Miló and Akoúo̱, Miló can mechashift between a javelin, a Xiphos, and a rifle. Akoúo̱ is my shield. And my semblance is polarity."
Despite Weiss not wanting to be part of this, she also had a soft spot on being left out. "I'm Weiss Schnee, my weapon is a Multi-Action Dust Rapier named Myrtenaster. My semblance is Glyphs. I can make glyphs to hold things in place, platform, enhanced speed, time dilation, and gravity."
Everyone turned to Jaune. "W-well, I'm Jaune Arc. short, sweet. An-" before Jaune could finish, he thought about what Annie said. "And… I hope we can get along. My weapon is called Crocea Mors-"
Jaune's introduction was cut short by the sound of a squeal. Everyone turned to Annie. "Oh my God! That is so cool! Not only are you named after a saint, but your weapon shares a name with Julius Caesar's weapon! So cool! It's like mine! Veni Vidi Vici! Caesar buddies!" she cheered.
"So, what's your semblance Jaune?" Pyrrha asked, Jaune got nervous.
"W-well I do-AH!"
And like before, Jaune got interrupted, only this time by a tree root. Jaune fell face first into the Earth.
"Jaune!" Pyrrha rushed to her partner's side. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," Jaune said, a little blood coming from his nose. "Oh, guess not."
"Well, use your aura and heal it up, we gotta get going," Weiss said, walking past them.
"Aur-what?" Jaune asked, while Weiss was not within hearing distance, Annie and Pyrrha were.
"Hit your head? Aura," Annie told him.
"Bless you," Jaune told her.
"Jaune… you know what aura is, don't you?" Pyrrha asked.
Jaune let out a nervous laugh. A realization fell onto Annie.
He didn't know what aura was.
He didn't know what a landing strategy was.
He was a clutz!
"Hey… Jaune," Annie asked, walking up to him. "Where did you train?"
"I was taught at home," Jaune said, a technical truth.
"Jaune, tell me? Do you like Italian girls?"
"W-what?" Jaune asked, confused.
"Because you might as well be fucking with me and Greek over here," she said with a straight face, getting a blushing Jaune and Pyrrha in return. "If there is one thing harder than passing initiation, it's getting the transcript to get onto Beacon!" Annie said. "And someone who doesn't know landing strategies, aura, and let's be real, you're a bit of a blonde… you faked it?!"
Annie covered her mouth, Jaune's face turned from scared to horrified, and Pyrrha was shocked. But Annie, Annie was on the verge of laughing. "NO WAY! You either have to be the most ballsy person I met or the most stupid!"
"Please don't tell anyone!" Jaune pleaded with them, getting on his knee, and begging them.
"Jaune…" Pyrrha didn't know what to do. Should she kill the boy's dreams or let him continue.
"Sure, besides, the great Wizard of Oz probably already knows, HEY PROFESSOR!" she said, waving at a tree."
"Behind you," the voice of Ozpin said. "And of course I know, I'm not dumb Mister Arc, and if Terrans have taught me anything, is be prepared for any way to die, that included forged transcripts!"
Jaune looked at the camera in horror, "But, if you are ballsy enough to try, we won't stop you. Keep that on the D.L. by the way and we' wil let you in on the betting pools. And if you manage to show some potential, we'll be sure to train you into a great huntsman!"
"Ozpin! What are you doing?"
"Remember Jaune, stay quiet about the loophole, and you will be part of the betting pools!"
"DID YOU JUST INVITE A STUDENT TO THE STAFF BETTING POOL?!"
"DAMN IT GLYNDA I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE TERRAN ONE! NOW WE HAVE TO LET HIM IN! W-wait Glynda, put that down! Glynda GLYNDA!"
The camera microphone went quiet.
"Well…" Annie said, "Yeah, we have a betting pool. So, about Jaune's Aura…"
"And remember Ruby, when cooking this, don't use too much oil," Yuri said, after watching Hell's Kitchen the students of her unit decided to try cooking. "Remember, too much oil and it'll ruin the dish."
"Why? What will happen? I'll drown it?" Ruby asked.
"No, this," Arthur said, spilling vegetable oil on the ground.
"Oil! Who dropped the oil?!" Alex yelled. Seeing Arthur spilling oil on the ground. "You idiot! They'll come!"
"Who?" Ruby asked.
"THE AMERICAN'S! THEY'RE BREAKING THROUGH THE WALLS! HIDE THE OIL!" a first year student yelled. "READY THE DEFENSIS!"
"Oh, God! Arthur why did you do this?!" Yuri yelled.
"She had to learn," Arthur said.
"AT OUR EXPENSE!"
"HERE THEY COME!" another student fully dressed in heavy armor. "Protect the oil!"
"AHH!" HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!" Jaune yelled.
What was Jaune Arc, the newest member of Beacon to have his aura unlocked? Well, someone- Annie- decided it would be a good idea to pick a fight with a Nevermore. Well that didn't go well, and what did they do? Hide in a cave! A dark cave with a giant Deathstalker, which was now chasing after Weiss, Annie, and Pyrrha, while Jaune was flung into the air and landed in a tree.
"Hey, are you okay?" Yang looked at her fellow blonde, "You hit that tree pretty hard."
"Yeah…" Jaune slowly, and painfully got off the tree, walking to the temple, along with a ginger girl holding a red King of Diamonds. Jaune pulled a red king of hearts.
"Hey, are they running with a Nevermore and Deathstalker on their tail?" Blake asked.
"Hey! Jaune!" Annie ran up to them, collecting a card, a red Jack of Diamonds. "You okay?"
"Just used a tree as a cushion," Jaune said, hitting his back.
Soon Weiss and Pyrrha landed with the Nevermore circling them.
"Yay, we are all here, let's die together!" Yang said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Weiss really couldn't believe her luck. She must have had a curse that made her day the worst.
The American students had somehow still stood tall, they pressured the others for demands for oil they threatened to throw away all the coffee and tea, something they had somehow managed to get all of.
Now this might have been a mistake as they were soon attacked by Italian, coffee drinkers and the Turks massive tea drinkers. But the Italians were no match, for little did they know, the Russian joined the fight, maybe it was the revenge on Annie, who knew, but what started as just a simple time watching Hell's Kitchen turned into an all out war.
Ruby received a call, "Hello?" Ruby answered.
"RUBY?! Is everything okay with you?!" It was Whitley? He was panicking, loud yelling could be heard and he was whispering. "Tell me, where you are right now?"
"Sorry, Whitley, why are you being so quiet?" Ruby asked.
"The Icelandic students, they have begun taking the Remnant students, they said they plan to win this war? I don't know what's happening but things are getting much worse! The Americans are fighting with the Chinese, the Chinese allied with the Japanese, who is allied with Russia, who is attacking the Chinese, and it's all madness!"
"You there! You're a Remnant!" a student yelled.
"HIDE RUBY ROSE! HIDE!" Whitely yelled into the phone. The call ended.
"Whitely?! Whitley?! NO!"
"Hey, what's going on? Sun-Hee asked, eating popcorn.
"They Icelandic students seem to be rounding up the Remnant students and there is all this fighting!" Ruby said, looking outside to see nothing but chaos, when just an hour ago everything was just fine.
"Ah, a Beacon World War. Starting quite early this year... " Sun-Hee said, "you fighting or what?"
"W-why is this happening?!"
"Oh, you know, those with the flare for the dramatic, multiple countries that both love and hate each other. I expect to see one or two North Korean students after me in the hour," Sun-Hee looked at her watch. "So fight? Because if so, I should mark an alliance with the Vale kids."
"How long does it last?!" Ruby questioned.
"The alliance? It varies, the war? Till one nation is left," Sun-Hee explained. "So, I'll put you down for yes?" she said, pulling out her phone.
Ruby Rose, the young Huntress in training, had made a choice that day. She'll be the one to end this war.
"Sure."
"Alright," Sun-Hee nodded her head, "Get your gear, we'll move out as soon as you're read."
(A/N: This somehow went from initiation to a war. I don't know how, but it got there.
Anyways! Leave a review! Hope you enjoy it!)
