Izuku looked over and saw Eraserhead in a yellow sleeping bag glaring at the blondie. "Bakugo. You just attempted assault on a classmate. Explain to me why I shouldn't expel you right now.
"Uhh...um." The now named Bakugo was searching for words, looking increasingly panicked as time passed.
"That's what I thought. But since you scored the highest on the entrance exam overall, I can't expel you without getting Nezu mad at me."
Bakugo uttered a sigh of relief and sat back down. Izuku walked over to where he saw his name on a desk. Next to him was Mineta, who was staring at Momo Yaoyorzu's...um let's just say her body. Izuku slapped Minrou and started chatting with Minoru and Shogi who was directly in front of him. In fact the only members of his friend group who weren't right near him were Ashido, who he hadn't met until a few months before, and Shoto, his childhood friend.
Yaoyorozu sent Izuku a look of thanks and started talking with Shoto, smiling as she saw a small blush appear.
"TIME FOR QUIRK ANALYSIS! GRAB YOUR GYM CLOTHES AND MEET ME A FIELD GAMMA!" Exclaimed an awake Aizawa, their homeroom teacher. He had just had a whole batch of coffee specially devised by Nezu, so as to give him enough caffiene to not sound depressed, while not making him overweight at the same time. The amount of caffiene in one batch was similar to about 70 batches of black coffee. Adding milk only made it 69 (nice) batches.
When they got to field Gamma, they lined up in front of a softball pitching mound.
"Midoriya, step up, since you got the highest score on either exam, and throw the ball as far as you can without stepping outside of the circle."
Izuku stepped up, grabed to softball, thought then asked a question.
"Am I allowed to go up?"
"Sure as long as you don't leave the circle." was what Aizawa-sensei told him.
He flew up about 300 feet slowly, without moving to any side. When he reached his destination, he threw the ball. He sent 10 feathers to accompany it, pushing along the ball in the air and making sure it didn't fall. He got it a good distance before he couldn't see it anymore, which at his height, the horizon was about 42 km away. He dove back down, the only time he left the circle and landed in a superhero pose with a dude with weird elbows wistling at his display.
"According to this meter, it made it about 45 km, counting as it rolled until it stopped. They went on to do all the other excersises which were mostly kind to Izuku. The only ones he was bad at were the side jumps and grip strength.
After the training, they went to lunch. Izuku got his food and went to a table with his regular friend group. Joining the normal ones were Yaoyorozu and Uraraka.
"So, Midoriya, are you in some way related to Hawks? You're quirks are very similar." Yaoyorzu voice her questions and Uraraka nodded vigorously.
"Hawks is my dad, and Uraraka, is your neck okay?"
"I'm fine. Thanks!"
"Having a pro hero dad sounds so interesting! What's your quirk called?" Yaoyorozu continued her interrogation while the rest were working on getting Minoru to stop staring at Yaoyorozu's chest.
"My quirk is called Peregrine Wings, but I call it Peregrine for short. As for a demonstration of my abilites, you already saw me dive and fly slowly, and I can manipulate feathers." He shot a feather at Minoru's eye. "Minoru, stop staring at Yaoyorozu and Uraraka." He proceeded to stand up and spread his wingspan of 13 feet(4.3 yards).
Yaoyorozu sat down across from him and started asking more questions, making different portotype designs based on them. She also made his wing pockets bulet proof. By the end of lunch, she had a pack with straps around her arms. When she flapped her arms, the wings moved with her arms and she had a button in each hand to power two rocket thrusters on either side of the pack. The group arrived at the classroom as the bell rang and Yaomomo took the pack and neatly folded it into a square the size of a suitcase, with a convenient handle further fitting the suitcase analogy.
In walks, or should I say dives, All Might, stating "I AM HERE...WALKING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"
"That's not normal."
"Today we're gonna be doing mock battles. Suit up and meet me out there!"
The class saw suitcases emerge from the wall, they all ran up and grabbed their respective cases. They then went to get changed.
When Izuku arrived, he noticed how only 5 of his classmates were already there, Yaomomo, Ojiro, Fumikage, Kyoka, and Krishima. Yaomomo, Kyoka, and Fumikage came over to examine his costume.
He had a green jacket on, which could be automatically shirnked down to the size of his hand. Underneath, he wore a very streamlined black outfit with a green accent. He wore a yellow visor, similar to his dad's, and he wore green sweatpants. Basically, he wore his fathers costume, but green with a few changes. His visor also had a special A.I. programmed into it.
Hello, D.E.C.U. (Defense, Endure, Combat, Ultimate. He would have gone for D.E.K.U., but he couldn't think of a fitting word for K. they're pronounced the same anyways.)
"Hello, Izuku. Today's a sunny day with a 21°C temperature. If you press the button on your collar, you can shrink your jacket."
"Midoriya, your costume can talk to you! Ive never enven heard of that!" Uraraka gushed.
"Yeah I made her myself." Izuku looked proud about his creation. Jiro poked his face with one of her Jacks. "Don't get too big-headed, Izuku." She said.
As the rest of the class started emerging, All Might bellowed, "Remember, the clothes make the hero. Your clothes make you approachable, so make sure to smile!"
Izuku smiled as the rest of the 'Dekusquad' approached. He nodded to Mezo as Minoru started a rant about how he had a diaper. Izuku promised to go to the support studio with him later, and that shut him up. Then the teams were announced. They were to fight in teams of 4 in a villain vs. Hero situation along with 4 Class 1-B students who Nezu thought were closest to transferring to class 1-A
Team A: Izuku Midoriya, Kyoka Jiro, Fumikage Tokoyami, Ochaco Uraraka
Team B: Toru Hagakure, Shoto Todoroki, Masahirao Ojiro, Hanta Sero
Team C: Katsuki Bakugo, Mezo Shogi, Minoru Mineta, Itsuka Kendo
Team D: Momo Yaoyorozu, Denki Kaminari, Tokage Setsuna, Rikido Sato
Team E: Eijiro Kirishima, Yuga Aoyama, Tsuyu Asui, Ibara Shiozaki
Team F: Mina Ashido, Koji Koda, Jurota Shishida, Tenya Iida
The lots turned out like this
Team A vs. Team C
Team B vs. Team E
Team D vs. Team F
Teams A,B, and D were the heroes, while teams D,E, and F had to protect the bomb as the villains. Bakugo's team went in to set up qnd prepare for the incoming attack.
Izuku was with his team as they strategized. "Alright, Uraraka, you make me weightless and I'll fly around, reporting anything I see. They're most likely going to cover the room with the bomb with Minoru's grapes, so Tokoyami, you'll use dark shadow to fly past, while Jiro gets rid of the grapes with a soundwave in case one of us has to touch it. Uraraka, you try to distract them. Bakugo will probably try to seek me out since I'm the son of Hawks, so I'll keep him at bay. i don't know what Kendo's quirk is, so be careful."
They all nodded and waited for the battle to start.
"LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!" They heard Present Mic and Izuku saw a YEAAAHHHH a few buildings away. Immediatly, Izuku flew up, faster than ever thanks to his weightlessness. He peered through every window until seeing it on a floor with a few pillars, but otherwise just the bomb. 'How do they move that?' He alerted Jiro using D.E.K.U. and flew down a few floors. He crashed through the window, hoping to make noise. Sure enough, he heard explosion after explosion as suddenly Bakugo appeared being trailed by Mezo.
Izuku pivoted in the air away from an explosion and shot feathers at Bakugo. Every feather was exploded or Izuku had it return to him. He pulled capture tape and what looked like a grenade, but painted the same shade of red as Hawks' feathers. He threw it and immediatly feathers popped out. At least two hundred. His father had spent all of the feathers on his wings making this once and Izuku was happy to finally use it. While Bakugo was blowing up the feathers, Izuku captured Mezo with the tape, as he had had feathers poking his eyes, keeping him occupied.
Izuku then jumped out the window as it was announced that Mezo had been captured. Bakugo, having cleared all the feathers, snarled at Izuku and jumped out the window, keeping himself in the air with explosions from his feet. He attacked Izuku, but he was very rigid in his movements and Izuku easily dodged him with his grace in the air. He started circling around Bakugo, outraging him, but his circular movements kept him in one spot. Izuku constantly attacked with one or two feathers at a time only for them to be blown up. Then Izuku lifted his hand as if he were a conductor, and pulled it down. Bakugo found his arms and legs pinned and started to fall.
Izuku carried him down with feathers as well as bringing Mezo down.
"Katsuki Bakugo is out."
"The heroes have captured the weapon! Team A wins!"
Izuku peered through the window, and saw Jiro clutching the bomb. She had apparently distracted Shiozaki enough to get there. He brought Fumikage's captured body down and untied him as well is Minoru.
When they reached All Might and the group, he started asking them questions.
"Who was the MVP of the battle there? Yes Young Yaoyorozu."
"I think it's Midoriya, as he held off 2 members of the team, making the fight for his teammates much easier."
"Correct, but I think it should also be Young Jiro, as she strategically got rid of the grapes all around her, while fending off her opponents, allowing her victory. You all did well."
The rest were kind of boring. The only moment of interest was when Shoto froze the entire building, yet Izuku paid rapt attention anyways as he learned of his classmate's quirks.
HELLO! This story is doing pretty good and I'm hoping for an update schedule of every thursday/friday and monday, as I have more time to write on the weekends.
I'm leaning towards IzuJiro right now, but I've been considering harem, even though they're not my favorite, they're easy to write.
Next chapter is trauma, villainy, USJ probs. I was having trouble naming D.E.K.U. so any suggestions for K or U are appreciated. (no kill)
I was also wondering if I should give him a different costume, but I can change it a lot. Also he's a genius now.
Mainly, and I know this sounds tacky, I was very appreciative of the views. I got someone from Lebanon! At the time of writing I have exactly 500 views. Hope you all enjoyed!
Sorry if I made this seem too short, I just don't really care for this part.
Also, should I give Izuku OFA? It seems useful for me to write with, but I'm worried it might wreck the story. what's your thoughts?
