Chapter 2
The Delinquents cheered as they all jump out of the dropship.
Clarke jumps out, smiling.
She walks towards as she opens up a map that said Mount Weather.
She looks up and sees a mountain as she hears a voice come up behind her.
"Why so serious princess"? Finn says as walks up behind her.
"It's not we died in a fiery explosion". Finn continues.
"Try saying that to the two guys who tried to follow you out of their seats". Clarke says.
"You don't like being called princess, do you princess"? Finn asks.
"Do you see that peak over their"? Clarke asks him.
"Yeah". Finn says.
"Mount Weather, there's a radiation-soaked forest between us and our next meal". Clarke says as she looks at the mountain again. "They dropped us on the wrong damn Mountain". Clarke says.
The Ark
"Here it is, we know they've landed but communications are down, which means we're still blind to conditions on the ground". A man named Marcus Kane says.
"Thanks to Abby's wristbands, at least we know how those conditions affect the human body, which is more than we've had for 100 years so nice work". He says nodding his head.
"Now, what are they telling us"? He asks.
"Two dead kids, dark tiles". A woman known as Abby says as she points at the hundred's vitals.
"Mr Jackson please share our theory with councillor kane". She tells Jackson.
"Of course , granted they've only been on the ground for seven minutes, but as of now, we believe the fatalities are do to the landing, not radiation levels". Jackson says.
"Both boys died at the same time that we lost contact with the dropship". Abby says.
"Rough landing, that's your theory"? Kane asks.
"The dots connect". Says Abby.
"Would you agree that if was radiation, we'd see fatalities climb fairly quickly now?
Because I'm noticing a lot of red on that board". Kane says.
"Spiking vital signs two possibilities one, injuries sustained during landing". Abby says.
"And the other"? Kane asks.
"They're excited to be there". Abby says. Kane nods as he looks at the vitals.
The ground
Wells walks out the dropship. "We got problems". He tells Clarke, who was drawing her map.
"The communications system's dead, I went to the roof a dozen panels are missing, heat fried the wires". Wells continues.
"Well, all that matters right now is getting to Mount Weather Clarke says.
"See, look, this is us, this is where we need to get to if we want to survive". Clarke. explains.
"Where'd you learn to do that"? Wells asks.
Clarke stays quiet.
"Your father". Wells says realizing.
"Cool, a map". A teen known as Jasper says up behind them.
"They got a bar in this town? I'll buy ya a beer". He says.
"You mind"? Wells says grabbing the teen's arm.
"Hey hands off him he's with us". A teen known as Murphy says with a posse behind him.
"Relax, we're just trying to figure out where we are". Wells says.
"We're on the ground, that's not good enough for you? Bellamy asks as comes up to them.
"We need to find Mount Weather, you heard my father's message that has to be our first priority". Wells tell the prisoners as he walks towards them, Clarke follows.
"Fuck your father". Octavia says.
"What you think you're in charge here, you and your little princess"? She asks.
"Do you think we care who's in charge"? Clarke asks.
"We need to get to Mount Weather, not because the Chancellor says so but because the longer we wait, the hungrier we'll get and the harder this will be, how long do you think we'll last without those supplies"? She asks.
"We're looking at a 20-mile trek, ok, so if we want to get there before dark, we need to leave now". Clarke explains.
"I got better idea". Bellamy says.
"You two go, find it for us, let the privileged do the hard work for a change".
"you're not listening, we all need to go". Wells explains.
"look at this everybody, the Chancellor of earth". A teen known as Murphy says as he pushes Wells.
"You think that's funny"? Wells says as Murphy trips him.
"Wells"! Exclaimed Clarke as one the prisoners grab her.
Out of nowhere Finn jumps down in front of Murphy.
"Kids got one leg how about you wait till it's a fair fight"? Finn says as Clarke helps Wells up. Murphy looks at Finn as he walks away.
"Hey spacewalker! "Rescue me next"?Octavia says as she comes up to Finn, smiling
Bellamy glares at her "What? he's cute. The younger Blake said.
"He's a criminal". Bellamy says.
"We're all criminals". Octavia says.
Bellamy pulls her away.
"look o, I came down here to protect you" He says.
"I don't need protecting. I've been locked up one way or another my whole life. I am done following orders. I need to have fun, bell. I just wanna do something crazy just because I can and no one, including you is going to stop me". Octavia says.
"i can't stay with them, o". Bellamy says
"What are you talking about"? Asks Octavia.
Bellamy stares for a second. "Look I did something, ok, to get on the dropship, something that they will kill me for when they come down, I cant say what it is just yet but you have to a trust me. You do still a trust me don't you"? He asks.
"Yeah". Octavia says.
Clarke checks Wells leg as Finn comes to them.
"So, Mount Weather. when do we leave"? He asks.
"Right now. We'll be tomorrow with food". she tells Wells.
"how are the two of you going to carry enough food for 100"? Wells ask.
Finn turns around and grabs two teens.
Monty Green and Jasper Jordan.
"four of us. can we go now"? Finn asks
"Sounds like a party. make it five". Octavia says as she runs over.
"Hey what the hell are you doing"? Bellamy asks.
"Going for a walk". Octavia tells him.
"Hey, were you trying to take this off"? Clarke asks Finn as she grabs his wristband.
"Yeah so"? Finn asks
"So this wristband transmits your vital signs to the Ark take it off and they'll think you're dead". Clarke explains.
"Should I care"? Finn asks
"Well I don't know do you want the people you care about to think you're dead"? Asks Clarke. "Do you want them to follow you down here in two months? Because they won't if they think we're dying," Clarke says.
Finn stops for a second. He nods.
"Okay then, let's go". Clarke says as the prisoners walk away. She turns to Wells.
"You shouldn't have come here Wells". She says as she walks away. Octavia comes to her. "Before you get any ideas Finn is mine". She says.
"Before you get any ideas, I don't care". Clarke says back as they walk in to the woods.
