The Legend of Zelda Ocarina Of Time: A Twist of Fate: The Original
So, things got a little weird right around this point. I got a shield, a sword, an audience with the Great Deku Tree, but... I still had questions that needed answering. Like, why me? I was just the tomboy with no fairy. I barely knew how to use the sword I had found. But as it is.. this is my tale.
Comforting A Friend
'I don't belong here!' I thought, as I kept running everyone turned on me accept Saria and my fairy Navi. "Link!!! what are you doing? you can't leave the forest you'll die!" Navi pulled on my hair but I kept running, until a hand grabbed my arm and pulled me back. "Linkette! please stay!" Saria said with pleating eyes. One look at Saria's face and I broke down sobbing into my friends shoulder, as the Skull kids watch us worriedly from down bellow. I was drained, tired, Dirty and I felt like everyone else had betrayed me. Eventually my mind and body drained I cried until My body and mind passed out from exhaustion. But when I came to both Navi and Saria were looking down at me with concern. "Are you alright Link?" Navi said with worry "I'm fine what happened?" "Pour Linkette after you came back from the Great Deku tree you tried to leave, the forest! I was so worried about you Linkette." "But now what do we do Link?" Navi chimed in. "How about we go hang out in the lost woods for a while?" Saria said with a bright smile, then we thought of a plan to sneak out into the woods without any of the other Kokiri noticing.
So at nightfall Navi, Twilight, Saria and I snuck out of our houses as we headed to the secret place that Saria only shows her friends. "Hay Linkette lets hang out today and tomorrow." I smiled and nodded happily as I spoke, "That sounds like a lot of fun lets hang out here, if that's okay with you?" Saria nodded as Navi frowned, then she piped up, "But Link..." I sighed at my fairy as I replied, "come on Navi lets just have a little fun! Please? we don't have to leave right away... so just relax." I replied giggling at my fairy's actions. "Okay fine... but just for a few days then we have to leave." I sighed once more as I answered, "I don't want to leave... do I have to?" I said pouting up at my fairy with puppy dog eyes. Navi was not amused but Saria and Twilight bursted out laughing. I smiled Impishly as I looked back at my friend, knowing I had won the argument between Navi and I, while Saria laughed at my expression.
So for the rest of the day Saria and I hung out in the Lost woods. We both ended up falling asleep in the woods. When I awoke I noticed that my throat felt sore, so I laid back down suddenly feeling hot and cold at once. I was awoken by Saria gently shaking my shoulder. I open my eyes and I looked up at my friend with fever glazed eyes. With a groan I rested my burning forehead on Saria's shoulder. "Hay Linkette are you oka... oh my goodness your burning up!" My only response was a violent cough, as my eyes slipped shut once more.
She then stood up gently and very carefully lifted me on to her shoulders causing me to wimper in pain, clinging even tighter to my friend in the process. Saria looked up at Twilight and Navi with worried blue eyes, "How in the world could Linkette get a fever in the middle of the night?" She asked the two fairy's as she started the walk back to her house.
When we got to her house she gently layed me on her bed removing my forest green headband that kept my emerald Green hair in place. Yes I have Emerald green hair Like Saria does. It was Mido's fault as it usually was... he hated me for some reason, but anyways... we have the same hair color thanks to Mido... he had dumped Emerald Green Hair Die into my once bright red hair. That jerk had messed up my HAIR!!! And the day it happened we were all having our yearly festival. Saria had braided my hair and she had tied it with a forest green headband, and to Finnish she had also put 2 flower pins in my hair as well as her own. Then later... mido had snuck up on me and Saria and he had dumped the hair die on my braided hair. I had screamed at Mido for messing up my hair... so both Saria and I had lunged at him. After that... Well lets just say the great Deku Tree was not pleased with Saria Middo and I fighting eachother. That next day after the incident the Great Deku tree had given us a very Stern lecture about playing nice.
I woke up a few days later feeling a lot better, because I had been sick Navi let me stay in the forest for two more days so I could hang out with Saria and my other friends. I sighed as I headed to the Sacred Forrest Meadow so I could meet up with Saria like we had planned, once I got there Saria said, "I have something for you Linkette... it's a Fairy Ocarina I make one for all of my friends, here I'll teach you my song!!!" Saria said as she practically dragged me to the tree stump. We played her song for what felt like hours, and by the time we headed back to the village it was twilight.
I was really mopey about having to leave the forest and leaving Saria, but I had to leave, even though the thought scares me to no end. I took a deep breath as I slowly made my way to the bridge that served as the borders between the forest and the outside world.
