I've been thinking about a ship and I'm so close to making this a DickxRaven that I might do both. Idk. Leave some comments and tell me what you think.
15minlt: Okay so I've decided this will be a Multi Ship thing. Raven will be shipped with four characters; neither none of one will be her final ship.
Also through out the story if you have read Primal Desire. I will be making references through the story. Jejejejeje.
Her vision was blurry, so she couldn't tell where she was at first glance. Until she remembered what Rage said, "Oh, and tell Happiness I say hey."
And then she was pushed into a portal she had no idea that was forming behind her back. So Rage wasn't the answer then she was on next to Happiness, she may be of most help. Once Raven's vision was good enough for her to scope her surroundings, she stood up on her feet. The brightness of Happiness's inhabitance made her cringe though, she smiled and let out a breath of relief. Many wouldn't expect her to have a funny or happy bone in her body. But everyone has one, some happier than others. Raven slowly walked around the inhabitants, looking for the girl with the pink cloak. The longer she looked, the more worried she became. "Where are you?"
"I'm right here, silly." Happiness tone didn't have the glee that it usually has. Raven glances behind her to see the smiling clone but the smile appears to be fake. Raven's smile drops, she faces the clone, and as she realized the fakeness of her smile, the inhabitance became gloomy and a snowstorm seemed to be forming above them. Raven closed her cloak and looked straight at happiness," What do you desire, Raven?"
"I don't know, I thought you could help me figure that out," Raven stated, already knowing she had to figure it out on her own. "But I know you can't just give me the answers so, just need advice." Happiness nods in understanding. " Well, I can tell you now, that I have no idea. I am one of the few of your emotions, who don't know what we want."
"What? But why, I thought my emotions were balanced this whole time?" By the look of Happiness herself and her home, one could tell she hasn't felt good in a long time, and when Raven realized that she was so unhappy, the true state of the clone revealed itself. "As many say, it called fake it to you make it and that was what you were doing, you weren't happy when you were alone, you weren't happy when you were with that family, you were satisfied but not truly happy, you faked it for the ones you loved which cause you to be unhappy with yourself, true happiness and love starts within and once you find out what makes you truly happy, you will find what you desire."
"Wait, so, I think I'm catching on, you guys are saying the same thing but in different terms. You guys are always saying how certain things won't work to finding what I desire the most."
"Yes, most humans know what they truly desire but you aren't fully human, and being a hybrid comes with a complicated aspect of our biology, which means we are a mix and we miss things that regular humans and demons would know right away." Raven understood and knew this was the end of her trip to Nevermore. "Thank you, Happiness, get better soon." Happiness waved as she faded away back to the human world. Raven's body morphed from the shadows, the sun was making its way up. She knew Richard would be worried since they should be leaving for their trip today. She knew he would probably let Bruce know where they were going beforehand. Raven made her way back to his home and she got an ear full.
Their first stop was at Wayne Manor, to talk to Bruce. " Be careful while you are out of the country, especially your Raven, you could be snatched up and knocked in a matter of seconds if you don't pay attention." Raven nods in understanding, some dangerous foreign countries are not suited for women. Alfred supplied the two with advanced technology, communication, and supplies for the trip. Bruce also supplied them with a private jet, that can hide in its surroundings. "According to Devine, the bible should be located in the Czech Republic, I have no memory of me here the first copy was held but we will have to go off of his word."
The pair were off in minutes. Heading towards the European country. Raven had Devine on speed daily just in case something didn't add up on his end. The trip from Michigan to the Czech Republic was a long one but would have been longer on a government-owned plane. The jet got them there just when the sun was coming up. Devine was the type of guy who says he knows a guy who knows a guy. And that's what he did. He had given them an address according to him this guy knew a lot about the book even about the information that wasn't in the book. Information about the guy who wrote it as well. Raven spent the entirety of the fly there thinking about what she desired. Was she truly not happy with herself? What could have caused her to become insecure in her abilities? Why was she having a hard time figuring this out?
They landed in a secluded area.
Richard safely landed the private jet, "You ready?" Raven hums in response. The two walked out of the aircraft and watched it turn transparent. Raven raised her palm and a dark abyss formed in front of her. She looked at Dick who seemed unsure. She wanted him to go through. "I'll go first, just hurry behind me or it will close."
She walked past the threshold of the abyss and appeared right in front of the woods they left the aircraft in, Dick emerged from the portal milliseconds after Raven did. " According to Devine, we have to meet with a specialist heifer to try to retrieve the book.
"We don't need one, I am a demon and my family's blood is covered in that book, so I am protected, as long as you don't speak incantations you should be fine." He stammers as the dark sorceress walks away. He follows behind her and looks down at the girl as they walk and emerge into civilian. "What do you think we should do?"
"First thing she should do is find the museum where they are holding the book. Next, we scope the place out, and then when night comes we do a stakeout." Raven stated and Dick was confused. She was walking in these streets like she grew up here but what she was doing was using her earthly connections, which was parsley weak because she had shoes on but strong enough to give her a mental map of the town they were in and the next two towns up north. "There are so many holes in this plan."
She stopped in her tracks, ", What do you mean." Her clueless look made him sign, "Number one, how do we know for sure that Devine was telling us the truth that the book is still here. Number two, how can we stakeout? We have no car and there are no hotels or motels around here."
Well…. His worries were soon washed away. Raven is an empath, another word for a lie detector. Two, Raven honestly didn't know how they were going to stake out but when they arrived there was a small hotel across from the museum. Raven let a small smirk form when Dick finally realized her plan would be viable.
Dick had transferred US dollars to match this country's currency. He was able to pay for a motel that gave them a good view of the museum. Raven sits on the one of the two beds. She felt slightly weak and thought back to Happiness. She seemed so fragile and she knew that was all her fault, she hadn't balanced her emotions like she was supposed to, she had been providing for others more than she provided for herself. Her yin and yang, her masculine and feminine were not balanced and when they weren't balanced, that affected her powers which she hadn't used intensely in years. "I'm going to watch from the window, just relax." Dick says, he grabs a chair and sits it next to the window with a couple of snacks he bought.
Raven takes off her thick clock, she was wearing spandex gloves that started from the creases of her finger to her elbow. Her shirt was sleeveless and was a thin black turtleneck. Her bottoms were black sweats that fit her well. She wore socks on her feet that went up to her knees, they were open toed, just in case she wanted to connect to the earth again. Her shoes were parsley new but still black, she wore all black. She took a deep breath in and as the breath inflated her lungs, she became weightless. Her left leg lifted right before he right did the same, They moved so she could be in the lotus position. And as she exhales, she relaxes. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale Exhale.
Those words echoed in her mind, this time Raven wasn't going into the Nevermore, she was traveling, without her physical body. She felt like she needed to look for something. And usually after she traveled and looked around, visions came to her. Her soul moved quickly from the atmosphere, she looked down to see earth. She quickly moved back within the atmosphere, just hovering over the towns and cities she passed as she looked for her answers. And what she got was…. Superman.
What?
Superman, yes, the superman simple. Soon, she flashes images flashing and blinding the girl for a second. What did she see?
The Superman symbol ,Dick Grayson...
Wonder Girl, a nude body of a well built man, a woman and man with green skin.
Her soul was snatched back into her body as her consciousness was overwhelmed. She opened her eyes to a dark room, Grayson chewing in snacks and looking out the window into the well lit city. "Richard."
"Yes."
"Did you work with superman when you were younger?" He was silent for a second. "Rarely but I did work with his son. Connor Kent."
Raven nods, now understanding why she saw a young Dick Grayson and the S symbol that means peace. What did Conner have to do with this? Connor and Raven had an awkward relationship. Especially after the time Raven got drunk as a teen and flirted with him when she was with the titans. After that all their encounters were full of tension, it didn't matter which type, as long as it was tension it was there.
She would have to deal with it later for now…. Stake Out.
