I Have a few Stardew Valley Stories I have been meaning to share for a while.
Sorry I have been gone so long. College keeps me busy as does my job on the weekend.
I have about 3 weeks off (with the exception of weekends when I work)
SO here's hoping, along with new stories, that I can finally update some on going ones too~ ;)
Thank you for your patience~

Hana ran barefoot through the trees. Leaves cracking beneath her feet on the Forest floor.
"Hana~...Hana~...Hana~..."
The high pitched voices of the trees echoed her name as she ran. She soon found herself stopped in front of a tiny hut.
"What is this?" she asked herself as she dropped to her knees. A dim glowing light came from within, as well as a language she didn't understand, and yet did. It sounded all too familiar to her as she reached her hand inside...and...

"Hana?" Willow called to the sleeping Ginger who woke up right with her arm out stretched.
"Are you ever gonna wake up?"
"...I'm awake." Hana said softly as she rubbed her eyes.
"Check it out~" Willow beamed as she brought in a 15 pack of Parsnips., "A House Warming gift from Mayor Lewis!"
"What is it?" asked the ginger curiously.
"They're Parsnips." Willow giggled, "I went ahead and cleared an area, so we could plant them!"
"I see..." Hana blinked, "I didn't know you knew anything about gardening, Willow..."
"Of course I do...said Willow, "My dad is the one that helped tend to your Grandpa's fields in this place when we were little, remember?"
Hana fell silent...blue eyes glassing over once again.
WIllow blinked for a while and sighed as she leaned in forward and spoke to her dear friend softly.
"Hey..." she called to her, "You still like flowers, right?"
"Of course." Hana responded softly.
"Well." blinked Willow, "How about we go check out the local Market?" she asked, "We could see if they have any flowers in season, what do you say?"
"...Okay."
They wandered around Pelican Town. A lot had changed, but at the same time everything was the same. Old places...New Faces.
They turned into the Market, the bell chiming in their arrival.
"Hello! Welcome to Pierre's!" waved the man behind the counter, "I'm Pierre, the owner, is there anything I can assist you with?"
"Yes, actually." said Willow, "I'm Willow, and this is Hana, Chester's granddaughter." she stated.
"Ahh, you're old Chester's girl!" Pierre smiled, "Yeah he spoke an awful lot about you...I'm sorry for your loss." Pierre smiled.
"Well...Grampa Chester left her the deed to his farm." said Willow, "So we just moved in over there now."
"Oh I see." Pierre beamed, "That's wonderful news!"
"Yeah." Willow smiled, "Anyway, Pierre, we were actually coming here to see if you had any flowers?"
"Hmm...flowers, huh?" Pierre pondered, "Well actually I do believe that Tulips and Blue Jas is in season!"
"Ah! That's wonderful!" said Willow hugging Hana's arm, "Isn't that wonderful, Hana? Tulips and Blue Jas are in season!"
"Yes..." the girl said softly with a small smile.
Willow shared her happiness. It was a temporary bliss, but an improvement for the better.
"I'm afraid we don't have too much to spend at the moment." Willow chuckled, "But we'll gladly take 10 packs of each, okay?"
"A pleasure doing business with you ladies~" Pierre grinned.

"There...that's the last one." said Willow.
She and Hana knelt together as they planted the flower bulbs not too far from the Parsnip Garden.
"I bet those are going to be beautiful when they bloom~!" she grinned.
"Yes...they will." said Hana with a soft smile. Hana was relieved to finally see her mood change gradually. She knew it was hard for Hana to be here...but this place was her Grandpa's pride and joy. And her grandpa was her whole world.
"Wow...we have a lot of work to do here, huh?" said Willow, as she glanced over all the scattered rocks and over grown brush mingling with the abundance of trees.
"But once we have this place running again...I know we'll make Grampa Chester proud." she said softly placing a hand on Hana's shoulder, "YOU will make him proud."
The ginger haired girl nodded and managed another smile as she placed a frail hand over the other's. As the wind blew around them Willow didn't seem to notice much...
But Hana could swear she heard the call of her name in the trees.
"Hana? Are you okay?" asked Willow as she took noticed to her suddenly perked up attention. She seemed entranced by something in these old woods.
"...Yes..." she said softly with a tilt of the head as dancing green seemed to hop just barely across her vision.
"...Everything is fine."
