Tsubaki is a fun character to write.
"What the hell is that?" Tsubaki almost fell over as a massive explosion washed over her apartment, rocking her while she was doing her exercises. Rushing to her window balcony, she heard and felt another explosion rock the city and saw a huge waft of smoke rising from some fixed point. "What is going on here?" Concerned, she threw herself out of the window and shot down the street, moving towards the constantly increasing explosions. After about two minutes, she found the source of the explosions... "Bakugo. what is happening to you?"
She saw the boy, wrapped in a horrible brown sludge that seemed to radiate life. It was fluctuating and revolving around him, wrapping around his body in a horribly disgusting manor. Waves of potentail energy oozed off of Bakugo, like cool waves of energy, showing his stalled movements and inability to move.
"Why is no one helping him?" Rushing forward, she saw a group of pro heroes just standing there like lumps with a crowd of people standing in mass and in the way as per usual. Including but not limited to, Mt. Lady, Kamui Wooods, Death Arms and the water guy from earlier... all just looking helplessly like lumps. Well that wasn't entirely true, the water guy was putting out the fires Bakugo caused, Kamui woods was saving people from the fire... still, Her heart sank, as much as she hated Bakugo she could not and did not wish him dead. He was a kid, and he could grow, change or become better... he didn't deserve to die like this.
She moved, but before she took more then a step she saw Midoryia, sweet stupid Midoryia blasting towards the villian at blinding speeds. Her heart sank and she felt more power wash through her. With a great leap she hopped over the crowed of idiots watching the scene, she landed hard, taking advantage of the motion to absorb the recoil. She sprinted hard, each step adding to her power until she reached her almost friend and Midoryia.
"What are you doing?" She called out as the green haired boy was tearing at the living sludge. "He's too strong, even the idiots pro heroes can't stop this creep."
"My legs moved on their own!"
Her heart sank even deeper and she knew what she had to do. Closing her eyes, she let go of her iron control, feeling her body flood with the power of training, her heart constant beating, absorbing Bakugo's' blast earlier, running to this place... a thousand acts that empowered her. Channeling that strengnth into her hand, she charged the beast and unleashed a single punch.
She was stunned by the force of her blow, it sent her and Midoryia back with just the gale force, but it worked tearing apart the sludge monster and dispersing it's remains everywhere, sending Bakugo flying across the ground. She heard silence, as the winds stopped even the fires, but she didn't care as she collasped, her energy drained leaving her tired and dizzy. She had only ever expended her powers once other time, and it had left her hospitalized for a week back then...
But she wasn't seven years old any more, she was fourteen and so much stronger. Standing tall, she walked over to Bakugo and lifted him up, evaluating his body for injury. To her gratitude, she saw no injuries what so ever bar a few scatches. The boy recovered quickly but even he knew better then to interrupt her evealuation and just allowed her to monitor him. Soon enough she let go and helped him to stand.
The pro heros approached then, looking at her with shock. "How did you do that?"
She glared. "How is it that a Quirkless boy is braver then all of you trained heroes? The beast was made of sludge, pure water would have easily washed him away. You lot are pathetic. We are fourteen, I'm a girl, and we have a bigger set then the lot of you." Marching past them, she grabbed Midoryia, who looked terrified at her wrath. "Why did you run after him? He's a sociopathic bully, your bully and you had no quirk... I swear I will teach you self preservation... but first I'm escorting you home. I don't trust you to not get into danger on the way back." Lifiting the much smaller boy up, she started to drag him away, all while ignoring the cheering that filled the air.
"Girl... " She turned to face Death arms, who was still sort of hesitant. " You did good, that power and that skill... you really were something."
"Thank you, but you weren't. A child could have died, people could have fried from his explosions and the fires he started. Your a disgrace." She knew she was being cold but she was fircely agaisnt a lack of competence. "Do better so others don't have to suffer from your failures. I'd advise you collect the sludge before it reforms."

They made it close to Midoryia's home when Bakugo's loud steps approached them. He was rushing towards them, angry as usual. She moved herself in front of Midoryia, eyes cold as midnight as she glared at the idiot. "What do you want Bakugo?"
The blonde stopped, somewhat out of breathe.
"Listen. I would never ask for a weakling like you to help me. Don't think you can look down on me! Huh, Got that!? I was fine by myself! You're just a quirkless failure who won't even cut it as a rent-a-cop! You didn't help me! You did nothing, don't forget it! I DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING!" He growled hatefully before stopping as he looked at her. "I... I... I don't you anything either."
Her hand wrapped around his throat in an instant, lifitng him off of the ground easily. "You owe me everything. Grow up or I'll start breaking bones. I am in a foul mood, so back off cretin." She threw him away, daring him to lay a finger on her charge. "Go home and be a good boy before you get me really pissed."
He growled at her but did indeed stomp off, hateful and angry as per usual.
"Wow... I have never seen Kaachan so afraid of someone... your really something Tsubaki. I bet you will have no trouble becoming a hero." Midoryia's sweet voice drew her attention back from her rage.
"Thank you, your sweet... now, I have to punish you for being a pain in my ass... I know." In the blink of an eye, she slapped his ass hard, making him yelp loudly. She repeated the action a dozen more times before she stopped. "You scared me half to death, do you realize how close to death you were? Hmm? Now get up and go home and behave yourself or I swear I will deal with you with more spankings."
The pale boy scrambled back, holding his butt in pain. "Yes Ma'am."
She turned on heel... just as someone barreled into the scene, radiating more potential energy then anything she had ever sensed, screaming. " I AM HERE!" She whipped around, ignoring her weakness as she readied herself to deck the source only to see All Might himself, looking buff and badass as per usual. She rolled her eyes at his dramatics.
"All Might! Why are you here?" With more familiarity then he ought to have, Midoryia adressed teh Number One Hero.
"HAHAHA! I am here for you, young Midoryia. Young women, if you wouldn't mind, I need to talk to Young Midoryia for a bit, in private." As. ll Might beamed a smile at her, making her roll her eyes. " I must say, your heroics earlier were amazing. So much strength, that single blow was incredible. You saved the boy's life no doubt."
Frowning. she nodded only when the Green Haired Boy looked at her with acceptance. "Fine, but your in charge of his safety. If one hair on his head is hurt I will kill you." Kissing Midoryia's cheek once more, she turned and walked back home, hoping that whatever was about to happen was good for her friend.
"""
BAM!BAM! Her fists slammed into her punching bag, her body reabsorbing the recoil, easing her wariness. She felt stronger with each hit, each strike, slowly her reserves increasing. She would need to work out for hours each day to be able to do what she did before. She had depleted far too much power and it left her weaker then she had been for almost seven years...
And that was the secret to her Quirk, she had to store power to use it, otherwise she was no different then anyone else. The problem was she never stopped storing power so it was an easy thing to become overloaded with strength and might...
She hated it, the constant iron control that was required to just exist... but alas, there she was.
" I hope Midoryia got home okay..." She mumbled as she switched her stance and started to add kicks to her bag. The blows felt good on her skin, her body and bones needing the strength it gave her. "All Might seems like an idiot, hopefully he takes care of him."
This went on for an hour before she stopped, figuring it was time to get ready for bed. It had been an exhausting day and it was time for some nice sleep...
Saving an idiot did that to you.
