February 29, 1987

It was the middle of the night where Howard Stark, an famous genius inventor and CEO of Stark Industries and his wife Maria Stark were were driving back to their home the Stark Family Mansion in New York City after Howard had a long meeting at the headquarters of S.H.I.E.L.D since Howard was one of it's founder. The two of them have been happily married for many years where they had meet when Howard was visiting one of his casinos in Monaco, it was there when Howard noticed Maria Carbonell being escorted by her bodyguards.

Howard had managed to track her down to one of his hotels in order to give Maria back one of her earring that she had dropped, Howard charmed her and manage to get a date which eventually led to them getting married and having a son together who they name Anthony Edward Stark but everyone calls him Tony who was a genius just like his father maybe even more so. Howard and Tony didn't have the best father and son relationship as Howard was very strict with Tony and he was old enough he sent Tony away to a boarding school however despise all of this Maria knew that Howard care for their son and he hoped that one day he could be able to tell Tony about his real work with S.H.I.E.L.D.

However as they were a bit away from New York that was when up in the night sky light up like many fireworks went off at the same time which surprised the two.

"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL!" Howard shouted in shock.

Howard immediately slammed down on the brakes causing the two to be constricted in their seatbelts from the sudden stop.

"Maria are you alright?" Howard ask worried for his wife.

"I'm fine Howard but what the hell was that?" Maria ask curiously.

Both Howard and Maria then leaned in close to the windshield to get a better look on what was happening outside and it then they saw a comet shooting across the night sky, however as they saw that the trail of the comet evaporated too fast, it wasn't a comet at all but something else. It pulled towards Earth at high speed and the object was a red streak as it broke Earth's atmosphere and the sound of it as it entered the object orbit made the sky roar and the force from it shook their car.

"Holy Shit!" Howard said as he saw the object flew over them.

The sound from it's crash shook the ground significantly where it had crash-landed causing the people who were in their homes which were just a bit away to believe it was a earthquake, Howard immediately got out of their car and went towards where it was but he stop when she heard Maria callout to him.

"Howard be careful! We don't know what it could be!" Maria said concerned for her husband.

"Don't worry dear I know what I'm doing" Howard told his wife as after everything he has seen and done during the second World War and afterwards he was far more prepared for something like this then should a random civilian find it instead of them.

As Howard and Maria continue to walk towards the crash site though the smoke and steam which clouded the air making it difficult for them but they continue though it and as they continue waking towards the object they almost trip as the object had made a crater but that didn't stop them as the of them slide down to the crater, and once they reach the bottom that was when they both gasp as they saw it a small spaceship.

"My God!" Maria muttered under breath as she stared at the strange small craft.

As they walk towards the spaceship and was about to touch it that was it open causing the two to jump back but as cockpit opened up what they saw cause Maria to smile while Howard look shock, as it revealed a baby boy with black hair and he was wrap in a little red blanket.

As Maria reach in to pick the child up but she was stop when she heard Howard.

"Maria what are you doing we don't know if it's safe?" Howard ask concerned.

"It's not a thing Howard he's a baby" Maria said firmly.

Maria reach in and pick the child up who was asleep in her arms which brought a smile to her face while Howard look at the child in his wife arms

"Where did he come from?" Howard ask out loud curiously.

(In Man of Steel when Clark first arrive on Planet Earth he had differently breathing because of the Earth's atmosphere but he quickly adapted to it however in other Superman's media he never had that problem like here, also this whole scene I've base it off from the Superman animated TV show where Kal-El was found by Jonathan and Martha Kent)

"What are we going to do now?" Howard ask curiously wondering what exactly are they going to do with the child while he already knew exactly he was going to do with spaceship which was to take it back to his lab at his mansion so he can find out everything he can about it like how it works to use it's advance technology for both his company Stark Industries and S.H.I.E.L.D.

"What do you mean 'What do we do with him' isn't obviously we're going to adopt him of course" said Maria.

"Maria, come on! What are we going to say? How we going to explain how we found him?" Howard questioned.

"If don't and people find out what he is then they will lock him away and I won't let that happen" Maria said firmly as she wasn't going to allow this child to be raised in a lab with doctor's.

"I guess can pull some strings" Howard said as he knew that once his wife puts her mind to something there was nothing going to stop her and it is one of the many things that Howard loves about her.

"Howard look his he's reaching out for you" Maria said and truth to her word the baby was reaching out towards Howard so she handed the baby over to him.

As Howard held the baby in his arms he couldn't help but smile "He's a cute little fella".

Suddenly the baby latched on Howard's index finger of his right hand and he felt the strength the baby used to hold his finger, "Got a strong grip to" Howard said causing Maria to let out a playful chuckle.

However that was when the baby then added more pressure to the finger, "He's really strong" Howard said as he try to pull his finger away but to his surprise, he could not.

The baby who was just playing gripped even harder, "Okay, he's too strong" Howard said with his face showing how much he discomfort he is in as the body gripped tightened to the point it was uncomfortable and the bones in his index finger began let out cracks in protest as they broke, "Owowowow! Damnit!" Howard said in pain.

Seeing the distress on Howard's face, Maria began making funny faces at the baby causing to let go of Howard's finger and as everyone looked at his finger which has turn a dark shade of purple.

Maria looked at her husband's finger in shock, "Are you alright, Howard?"

"Yeah he's strong little guy" Howard said as whatever the baby was, he was undoubtedly strong where he is strong enough to break a grown man's finger by just squeezing it and since he is just a baby meaning he'll only get stronger as he grows older.

Howard try to flex his index finger but all he got was pain, "I think he broke my finger" Howard said chuckling lightly at what he just said, a baby had just broken his finger by squeezing too hard. Howard look at the baby and he was reminded about Steve Rogers aka Captain America the world's first and so far only Super Soldier and Howard wondered that perhaps this child could become as or even stronger than the legendary hero.

"So umm do you have any ideas for a name for him?" Howard ask curiously.

"How about Clark or Christopher or even Arno?" Maria said thinking up on what she and Howard will name their son.

"Well I've always like the name Nolan I did considered naming Tony it, what you think Peggy?" Howard ask.

"Nolan yeah I like it" said Maria.

"And hey why not use Peggy's last name to be his middle name I bet she would love that as she was jealous that we made Edwin's name Tony's middle name?" Howard ask.

"Then that's his name, our son Nolan Carter Stark" Maria said while smiling happily as she look down at her now son who has fallen back to sleep.
