Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here Class 1-A is still awaiting news on whether Midoriya is found or not...
But then a new villain shows up...which would slowly attract Class 1-A's attention...

Ch. 2: Fushigina ansatsu
Heights Alliance.
The scene shifts at the living room area, where Class 1-A just arrived after attending classes at UA Academy, and like before, they were sullen and somber, as they really felt that something is missing in their lives and felt that things are not the same as before, as if something very important is missing and cannot just be replaced.
Mineta and Kaminari's moods were sullen as they feel that things are not what it used to be as that someone is not here, and especially when not at UA Academy. They glanced around them and felt that nothing much has changed since that day when bad news struck them without warning and now they would have to face such harsh reality.
"We're about to become second year students…"
"In several weeks from now…"
"But somehow I don't feel like celebrating…"
"Yeah…HE is not with us…"
"I agree…"
"Hope he is found…"
"Preferably alive…"
"Couldn't agree more…"
Uraraka is being comforted by Asui after noting her sadness while Iida tried to raise everyone's morale with little success, while Ojiro, Sato, and Shoji looks on seeing that up until now, the entire class are still at loss over the disappearance of one of their classmates, and there has been no new developments as to whether he is still alive or not.
The trio noted that since his disappearance it affected the class in a way which proved difficult to get over and how it affected UA Academy as a whole, as the Big Three were also concerned about the person's disappearance without a trace, and that All Might is visibly concerned as well.
"This is bad."
"Indeed."
"Why him of all people…"
"I wish I had an answer…"
"Was the internship a mistake…?"
"Don't say that."
"Yeah…HE wouldn't like that…"
"HE is not dead."
"We know…"
The person in question is none other than Izuku Midoriya. He disappeared after a work study went awry after stopping a group of villains from carrying out a shallow deed of trying to eradicate 80% of the population's Quirk, and while the Endeavor team succeeded, it came at a price as Midoriya seemingly DISAPPEARED after the plane he was on while fighting the mastermind crashed outside Asia, in which the mastermind's body was found but not Midoriya's.
Several retrieval teams, including the coast guard, tried everything to find Midoriya, but were unsuccessful, which made Bakugo and Todoroki appeared apprehensive as they do not want to face the possibility that their classmate died and his body never found.
Several weeks later pieces of Midoriya's hero costume were found somewhere within the crash vicinity yet his body was never found. They told UA Academy and Endeavor that they will have to brace themselves as the possibility that Midoriya died is quite high as his body has not been found until now, and All Might was silent as he fear for the worst outcome.
Now six months have passed and there is no word yet on the status of the search, and Class 1-A is starting to brace themselves for the worst. In just several weeks they are about to become 2nd year students, yet they didn't feel like looking forward due to the fact that Midoriya wasn't with them.
"Damn…"
"We'll be 2nd year students in a few weeks…"
"But I don't feel like celebrating…"
"Me too…"
"It wouldn't be the same without Midoriya..."
"Man...I wish he were alive…"
"We need a sign…"
"Anything would do…"
Iida saw the sullen atmosphere and tried his best to lift his classmates' spirits and assured to them that Midoriya would be found soon and that he is alive and well, which Kirishima slowly nodded, though Mineta and Kaminari were reluctant to agree as they both fear in facing the possible reality that they may never see their classmate again.
"Please, Iida..."
"Don't give us false hope…"
"It'll make us more depressed…"
"We really wish that Midoriya is alive…"
"We just need a sign…"
"Anything would do…"
"…"
"…"
Suddenly, the door opened and someone stood before them, who turns out to be Neito Monoma, and he choose the wrong time to antagonize the rival section and taunted them by saying that Class 1-B is on the verge of becoming sophomores and that they now have the advantage in numbers as Class 1-A now lacked one and assured that his class will emerge as the superior ones.
As most of Class 1-A ignored him, tension started to flare as Monoma insinuated that Midoriya's disappearance is due to his own carelessness, and said that this is why Class 1-A went downward, and bragged that Class 1-B will not do the same stupidity that Midoriya made.
This resulted in Bakugo reacting in pure anger and uses his Quirk, and though Kirishima managed to restrain him, the Explosion caused the wall to gain a huge crack and Monoma was shaken, and there Kirishima tried to calm Bakugo down as his classmate screamed in fury for mocking Midoriya's fate as if he were a garbage.
"Bakugo! Calm down!"
"Let go! I'll kill that asshole!"
"He's not worth it!"
"He is! He insulted Deku!"
"But…"
"Deku is not a trash! He's one of us! And I won't let that jackass insult Deku!"
"Just ignore him!"
"Like I care!"
Ojiro, Fumikage, Shoji, and Jiro stood up, confronted Monoma and are now willing to follow Bakugo's lead as Monoma's actions were uncalled for and that he is intentionally attempting to rile up Class 1-A, as well for his insensitive remarks about Midoriya.
"You…"
"How dare you…"
"Calling our classmate trash…"
"You picked the wrong time to pick on us…"
"Midoriya is one of the best…"
"He deserved respect…"
"Don't you dare mock our classmate…"
"Or you'll regret it…"
Itsuka Kendo arrived, and having just heard of what her classmate did, she punched him on the stomach and he kneels down in pain, as she is not pleased with what he did, as she too heard of what happened to Midoriya and she is now pissed at how foolish Monoma is, and tells him to either he cease his actions for good or she would petition Vlad King to have Monoma removed from Class 1-B.
Monoma stared wide-eyed at hearing this and tried to rebut, but Kendo grabbed him by his collar and said that what happened just now serve as a wake-up call as his comments were not only insensitive, but it really provoked Midoriya's classmates as they were worried about whether Midoriya is still alive or not, and thus Monoma should not use THAT as a way to bully Class 1-A.
However, Uraraka, Hagakure, Ashido and Sero urged Kendo to petition to the UA teachers to have Monoma kick out of the hero course as Monoma is not acting like a real hero after his disparaging comments about Midoriya's disappearance.
"Expel him from the hero course!"

By then, Aizawa came and calmed everything down and told Monoma to head for the teachers' lounge as he is about to get a mouthful of sermon, while telling Bakugo to come along as he will have to explain the damaged classroom wall.
As Monoma protested, he was wrapped by Aizawa's capture cloth while Bakugo reluctantly went along, and Kendo deeply apologized, and said she will tell Vlad King about Class 1-A's petition, as she made it clear that she is fed up with Monoma's antics.

Much later, the scene shifts at the cafeteria, where some of the Class 1-A members are having lunch, and there Kirishima saw Bakugo coming, and he asked how it went, and Bakugo reluctantly said that he managed to avoid another house arrest as long as he doesn't do it again after hearing the circumstances, and Todoroki said it was fortunate.
As the trio began eating their lunch, a news flash appeared on TV, which shows that pro hero Uwabami was found dead at a park, and the footage showed that she was beheaded, which caused Yaoyorozu to gasp in horror as she felt that it was too brutal.
Then another news flash showed that a pair of local pro heroes are found dead in other parts of Tokyo, where their bodies are found sliced apart like meats being sliced by chefs. The footage shown were graphic as it showed that one of the victims were sliced horizontally, which caused Jiro to stare wide-eyed and knelt down before vomiting.
Yaoyorozu and Uraraka then helped Jiro to calm down seeing how affected she is in seeing the graphic scene on the news.
"Jiro!"
"Jiro!"
"…"
"Easy…"
"Relax…"
"…"
"There, there…"
"It's okay now…"
"…"
As more news about the killings are broadcasted, some of the UA students are starting to get nervous as they couldn't believe that some pro heroes are killed off easily.
"No way…"
"Several heroes…killed…"
"Damn…"
"Was it Stain…?"
"He's still behind bars…"
"Then who…?"
"Damn it…"
"I want to go home…"
Bakugo, Todoroki and Kirishima noticed it and glanced at each other, as they sensed that a new villain has emerged, yet Kirishima wondered if Stain is behind this since he uses a similar MO, but Todoroki said that Stain is still jailed at Tartarus, and Bakugo suggested that it could be Spinner, yet the trio appeared unsure about who the murderer is.
"Oh man…at a time like this…"
"So the League is active again…"
"Hmph."
"Will we having work studies again…?"
"Depending whether Endeavor or Fat Gum would summon us…"
"Whatever. We should go beat them up."
"Bakugo…"
"Bakugo..."
Aizawa and Present Mic saw the news as well and there he told the students inside the cafeteria to head back to Heights Alliance after classes and instructed them not to engage in unnecessary battles unless circumstances call for it which the students nodded, and there Aizawa told Present Mic to keep watching the news as he will talk to Nezu about this.

Somewhere within the city, an unspecified figure is seen standing over a huge skyscraper as the figure looks down at the ground, where you can see pedestrians and vehicles are moving about, and soon they got word of the news and it became a trending topic.
The scene zooms closer to the figure, where you can see his appearance, which shows his round face framed by a short mess of fluffy dark-green hair which sticks up at odd angles around his head, casting noticeably dark shadows onto itself.
His eyes are large and somewhat circular, their irises the same green color as his hair, which at times are very watery, and are usually stretched quite wide, giving him an innocent, energized appearance. He has a set of four symmetrical freckles in diamond formations, one on each cheek.
However, the lower half of his face is covered with a yellow cloth which is affixed to a rather long scarf that was affixed around his neck, while his costume resembled that of a ninja-like uniform though it did not have any sleeves, and then the scene shifts at the chest portion of his costume where it shows the kanji for the first character of his codename imprinted in red on the upper left of his chest, shin and wrist wraps, and a loose, metallic belt.
He also sports a single shoulder pad on his right shoulder, fingerless gloves and a mechanical Gauntlet.
The figure just stared intently as he appeared emotionless as if he has no feelings at all, but then his attention is diverted when a pro hero passed by and noticed the figure and approached him, sensing something suspicious, and carefully approached the figure to see if this figure poses a threat to society or not.
The pro hero is identified as Air Jet, and he got a look on the figure's partially-covered face, and noted the hair and description which matches the one UA Academy student who went missing for the past six months, and this made him wonder if this figure in front of him is the one or of this figure is someone else who looked like the missing teen.
"You…"
"…"
"You looked familiar…"
"…"
"Who are you…?"
"…"
"What are you planning…? Are you behind the spate of killings?"
"…"

Hope you liked this chapter, as I borrowed portions of the ongoing manga where Class 1-A's students are about to become 2nd year students…yet are depressed at the thought of moving on without Midoriya…
Things take a turn as some pro heroes were reportedly killed, off with Todoroki, Bakugo and Kirishima taking guess that blade-wielding members of the League of Villains are on the move…
Air Jet makes his appearance and encountered a mysterious figure, yet he feels that the figure is awfully familiar…as portions of the figure's face resembled that of a missing UA Academy student…

As Class 1-A struggled to move on with their lives, the hero society are suddenly brought to an edge when an UNIDENTIFED INDIVIDUAL committed various assassination hits on some pro heroes…which would soon catch the attention of Todoroki and Bakugo…as they got wind on the news of another killing which is near their vicinity…
