Chapter 2: Painful losses

Four strong, proud warriors stood in front of one evil, menacing tyrant prepared for a gruesome battle. Crude looked at all four warriors completely powered up and decided that he would do the same. Crude began to slowly build up his ki letting it flow out only a little. The higher he raised his energy the more fear began to creep into the minds of all four warriors but their pride is far too strong to give into the pressure of fear. "Alright, I've raised my power to 15%. We can now begin." Crude said with a small grin. Gotenks was the first to charge at Crude. Gohan yelled for Gotenks to wait and follow the plan but he didn't listen. He launched a series of ki blasts then followed up with an incredible combo. Crude did his best to maintain a serious face but he couldn't help but to laugh at the futile effort from Gotenks.

"HAHAHAHA! You're a pretty strong kid but at my current power level I could kill you in my sleep." Crude said as he wiped away a tear from laughing so hard.

"I was only testing your strength. Get ready for a real fight." Gotenks said full of confidence.

"Don't even try it kid. I'd hate to kill a kid first. Also, what kind of men are you to let a kid do all the fighting?" Crude said confused.

"Don't underestimate what we all can do!" Piccolo responded angrily.

"Fine then. All of you attack at once and if I feel like all of you aren't trying to kill me then I will immediately end the fight by ending your lives." Crude said with a straight face.

Piccolo jumped behind Crude while Gohan and Tarble moved to his right and left sides. All four warriors launched in at the same time attempting to land a single hit. Without taking a single step, Crude dodged every attack and in an instant all four warriors were sent flying back into the hard ground. All four fighters stood up and brushed the dust off their clothes and stood there confused on how he landed an attack on all four of them. Gohan and Trable rushed in and began another assault. The two saiyans managed to land multiple hits and even left a scratch on his cheek. Piccolo and Gotenks stayed back and used ki blast to close off all possible openings to escape. Crude caught one of Tarble's punches and swung him down into Piccolo and Gotenks and fired two large ki blasts between them which left Gohan alone. Piccolo and Tarble stood up and went to help Gotenks but sadly they had diffused and were unconscious. "GOTEN! TRUNKS!" Gohan yelled as he looked at the two boys lying on the ground. Crude took that small window to begin his attack on Gohan. Crude dashed toward Gohan and landed a hard punch in his gut that made Gohan revert to his base form then followed up with a furry of combos and ki blast. Piccolo and Tarble flew into the air to help gohan but Crude was one step ahead of them. Crude sent Gohan flying into the ground with a single kick to the head, leaving Gohan unconscious as well. Crude then turned and grinned at the two remaining warriors.

"This guy is on another level. We can't beat him alone. You have to get everyone and get out of here!" Piccolo yelled.

"We can take him! We just have to keep trying!" Tarble said.

"I'll hold him off long enough for you all to get to the ship. I have a new technique I've been saving. "

"Fine then. Be careful and use your head."

Tarble descended and went to pick up Trunks and Goten. Just as he made his way towards Gohan the ground began to shake uncontrollably. Tarble picked up Gohan and flew everyone back to the ship. The ground was still shaking severely so Tarble flew over to where the fighting was taking place and saw piccolo surrounding himself in a dark green ki. "You need to leave right now!" Piccolo yelled up to the ship. Crude stretched his arm out to blast the ship from the sky but Piccolo stopped him by wrapping his arms around Crude's body until he couldn't move. Tarble fired the ship up to full speed and left as fast as he could. Crude flexed his muscles and escaped Piccolo's grasp. Piccolo began charging his ki but not only did his ki grow but his body began to enlarge as well. Crude's eyes got wide as the namekian warrior grew to be the size of a great ape. "Wow! That's a great powerup but you only made my target bigger." Crude said. Piccolo stretched his arm out to grab Crude but he wasn't fast enough. Crude dodged the attack and severed Piccolo's right arm while closing in on his chest. Crude placed his palm onto Piccolo and uttered one word. "Hakai." Piccolo didn't know how to react to his body slowly turning into dust. As his life flashed before his eyes he could only think about all the good times he had on earth.

Meanwhile back on Earth, Yamcha and Tien were hanging out at Capsule Corp. waiting for Goku and Vegeta to get back. Just as Bulma was setting up food and drinks for everyone a bright beam of light shot down from the sky and when it vanished Goku, Vegeta, Whis, and Beerus were standing there. Bulma saw Goku and Beerus locking eyes with a giant plate of chicken and other meat and immediately ordered for her chef to bring out more food. Vegeta decided to take a shower while Goku and the others ate. Everyone was laughing and stuffing their faces and that's when the ship carrying Tarble and the others came over the horizon and made its way to the landing zone in Bulma's backyard. Tarble emerged from the ship and started to yell for help because the others were still badly hurt. Goku and the others ran over to help and that's when Vegeta and Tarble finally reunited. "W-what are you doing in a ship with our kids and why are they hurt?" Vegeta said angrily. Tarble explained to everyone everything that had taken place since he met crude. Goku couldn't help himself but to get excited over the thought of another super strong fighter. "If he is really that strong at only 15% then we might need an extra hand. Maybe Broly feels like rampaging again." Vegeta suggested. Tarble jumped at the idea of bringing in extra help. Tarble asked Whis and Beerus to help but they had to inform him that Angles and Gods can't interfere in mortal disputes. Goku suggested that everyone go to the healing pods while he and Vegeta go to get Broly. Just as he normally is, Broly was doing his daily training when he saw Goku and Vegeta. Goku went and explained to Broly that there was a fighter that might be stronger than the three of them put together and that they would need his help to defeat him. Once Goku and the others returned they all sat and discussed how they would handle things once they found Crude.

Back in universe 6 Crude was continuing his search for strong warriors. Crude came across a planet being destroyed and decided to find the source of the power. What he found made him smile because he had never seen anything so bright and shiny. A golden warrior stood before Crude showing off his power and having fun while doing it. The golden warrior turned around and fired a quick red beam of ki but it was pointless as Crude just opened his mouth and swallowed the beam whole and blew the smoke from it out of his nose.

"You seem to have a good idea on what actual peace is. Would you like to join me on my mission to end the so-called gods? If your answer is yes then tell me your name and the nearest planet with strong fighters." Crude said with his infamous grin.

"That actually sounds like something I could take part in. The closest planet I can think of is Planet Sadal and my name is Frost." Frost said as he powered down from his golden form.
