Stepping Into Protection Mode:
Brunelle Village: Two Years Later:
Axis, Aziel, Cavor, Debu, Babu, Djimbi, and Escoa were discussing what to do about the wraith when Soraya showed up. Soraya and her people had told Axis and the others who the wraith were and why everyone in the galaxy was so afraid of them after the wraith had showed up the first time. Axis and the others had told them that they would do whatever was deemed necessary to keep the village and people of Bruen safe.
Knowing that it wasn't just the people of Bruen that were being attacked by the wraith, Axis and the others wanted to do something about it. So, after sharing how to make weapons with Soraya and her people, they made a plan to go gather information on wraith inhabited planets and destroy them while they were-in other words-asleep. Soraya knew of only one way to get that kind of information. She told Axis of a city that had a database that they could get that information from. The city was called Atlantis and it was run by humans that had just entered the Pegasus Galaxy. Axis sent Djimbi and Escoa with Soraya and two other villagers to Atlantis through the Stargate.
This wasn't just a strategical plan they were hatching. Going to Atlantis and stealing the information about wraith inhabited planets meant that they might make an enemy of Atlantis. It didn't matter, they needed that information and they needed it now, before any more people were completely wiped out by the wraith.
Atlantis:
"Unauthorized off world activation."
That's what could be heard throughout the Gate Room as Colonel Shepard and his team were called in. Mr. Woolsey and the others were waiting for something to happen. Colonel Shepard and his team had just gotten into the Gate Room before the doors sealed shut. The shield was down and people and robot looking things came through the gate. Before anyone could react, one of the robots hit its hand on the floor and everyone was unconscious, well mostly everyone. Ronon and Teyla were the only ones that weren't affected.
Using what little time they had, Soraya and her fellow villagers went to the control room and were met by Ronon and Teyla, weapons in hands.
"Where do you think you are going?" Ronon asked.
"Out of the way. Escoa, relieve them of their weapons."
"With pleasure Soraya." Escoa used her magnet weapon and pulled the guns from their hands. They looked pissed.
"We are only here for one thing and then we will be out of your way. Don't worry, you're people will wake up in about an hour."
"What do you want?" Teyla asked.
"We are here for some information and this database will give us exactly what we need. We'll be long gone before any of them wake up." I said as I plugged the chip into the database and let it search for what we needed. Ronon and Teyla could do nothing but watch as the chip downloaded from the database the coordinates to every wraith inhabited planet and even those that were uninhabited all together. This was going to be a battle that they could not stop and probably wouldn't want to stop.
"We're done here, let's go. Kieran, dial the gate and let's go. We don't want to be here when everyone wakes up."
"Yes ma'am."
Ronon and Teyla watched as Kieran dialed the gate back to wherever these people came from and then watched as Soraya grabbed the chip and with their robot friends, left the way they had come. The whole take over had lasted only ten minutes. Now the real fun was about to begin.
Bruen:
Soraya, Kieran and Fulmer walked back through the Stargate with Djimbi and Escoa. They had all the information that they needed to make a definitive strike against the wraith that would result in the wraith being wiped out for good.
As Axis and the other Autobots downloaded the coordinates to the wraith planets, ten Autobots were left behind to defend the people of Bruen. Soraya and the others would make sure that the wraith were taken out for good. Soraya had been building an army since the Autobots came to Bruen and decided to stay. The army had grown in numbers after the people of some neighboring planets had found out about the robots living on Bruen. People had uprooted their villages and traveled to Bruen and started their lives over with the help of Soraya and her people.
Thanks to Axis and his army, Soraya and her people were able to build an army as well. If the wraith came while the Autobots were away, then Soraya and the surrounding villages could keep everyone as safe as possible. Soraya and about twenty warriors would be going with Axis and the others. The weapons they had had come from materials Axis and the others had sacrificed from their own bodies so that the people could keep themselves better protected. And so the first wave was sent through the gate.
M4R549:
Soraya and the warriors stepped through the gate after Axis and his army went through. The wraith were taken back almost immediately and never had a chance to get soldiers on the ground before Axis and the others started fighting. This planet was home to five Wraith Hive Ships and the people of Bruen knew that this was going to be a battle no one would forget. Unable to get troops on the ground, and thanks to the robots, unable to get their Hive Ships in the air, they sent out wave after wave of darts. All the darts were destroyed and before long, only the hive ships were left. But without main weapons, they were unable to defend themselves.
As the smaller robots transformed into motorcycles and Soraya and her army got on, the robots that hadn't transformed stood guard. Soraya and her people headed into the hive ships and straight for the bridges. Soraya knew what she was looking for. She was looking for any kind of gadget that would show them where any more wraith ships were located. The ones in orbit were going to be hard to get to, but with their ability to transform into anything, Axis already had robots transforming into Hive ships, cruisers and darts.
By the time the battle was over and all the information had been grabbed from the defenseless Hive Ships, the surviving wraith were at a standstill. Once the Autobot darts were in the Autobot Hive Ships, the Cruisers and Hive Ships took off. Those still on the ground, dialed the Bruen planet and Soraya and her people walked through. The Autobot Hive ships took aim and destroyed the wraith hive ships and the surviving wraith as soon as the gate shut down.
Atlantis:
As the warriors and Autobots traveled back to Bruen, the people of Atlantis were beginning to wake up. Ronon and Teyla had been unable to stop the intruders from hacking the database of whatever they wanted. And to make matters worse, they had made sure that they couldn't fight back. Ronon and Teyla's weapons lay on the ground next to the gate. Colonel Shepard, Rodney, Mr. Woolsey and Amelia were the first of the many in the gate room to wake up. They were met by Ronon & Teyla who helped them up.
"What happened? Colonel Shepard asked.
"As soon as the Gate Room doors closed and the Gate shut down, the robot hit its hand on the floor and emitted some kind of shock wave that took nearly everyone out. Teyla and I were the only ones that weren't affected by the shock wave." Ronon explained.
"What were they after?" Rodney asked.
"They went straight for the database. The leader, I think her name was Soraya, plugged in some kind of chip and downloaded some gate addresses. We haven't been able to figure out why they wanted these addresses but they did use our DHD to gate back to wherever they came from."
"Well just give me a few minutes to figure out what they downloaded and then we can go after them."
"How come you guys didn't stop them?" Mr. Woolsey asked.
"The robot had some kind of magnetic weapon that disarmed us. We grabbed our weapons soon after they left. Oh and another thing, the robots were talking with the people, as if they were comrades."
"Have the two of you ever come across a race of people this technologically advanced, other then the Replicators of course?"
"No, never even heard about any race being this technologically advanced other than the Ancients and Replicators." Teyla said.
"Huh, that's weird."
"What's weird McKay?"
"All they downloaded was the location of every wraith inhabited planet in the galaxy and even some uninhabited planets that even we haven't been to."
"Why would they do that?" Amelia asked.
"Maybe they plan on taking out the wraith all by themselves. I mean think about it. If they have more robots like what came through the gate and they are on good terms with them, then why not. The robots must be protecting the planet where these people live and must have figured out that in order to stay in this galaxy, they would not only need to protect one planet but all of them too. Why not? This could be good for us. We could have allies out there that even we didn't know we ever had. They could help us get rid of the wraith once and for all. And if the wraith don't know how they're finding them, then they'd be on the run for sure."
"Did you happen to get the location of the planet they dialed to after they hacked out system?"
"Yes, I was just about to get to that part."
"What part? Where are they?" Ronon asked.
"They are on M3X387. The Ancients at one point had an outpost there and according to the database, the people called it Bruen. But that's the kicker; they've never been technologically advanced like we saw them to be. So maybe, the robots showed up some time later."
"You mean like from outer space, from some place else in this galaxy."
"Or another galaxy."
"What are you talking about McKay?" Mr. Woolsey asked.
"I have a friend that works with a General Wurshower back on Earth. According to him, Autonomous Robotic Organisms or Autobots for short showed up on Earth a few years back from a planet called Cybertron. It was an all robotic planet between the Milky Way and the Pegasus that had been destroyed in a battle between the good robots-Autobots-and the bad robots-Decepticons. The robots were looking for some kind of cube like thing and ended up having an all out battle in the streets of Arizona. After the cube was destroyed and the Decepticons killed, the Autobots stayed on Earth. About a year ago, the Decepticons came back with a whole lot more power then they had the first time. More Decepticons also meant more Autobots. They had another battle and again the Decepticons lost. So couldn't these robots be from the race that ended up on Earth? I mean think about it, if they are a part of the Autobots, then there could very well be more of them than what we saw here on the base. And if so, they could-technically speaking-transform to look like anything they came across. They could even transform into wraith ships and travel through space like that. Now if they have managed to transform into wraith ships, then the biochemical compounds would be different. Instead of wraith radiation they would have their own kind of radiation, which according to my friend, is off the charts, even for Replicators. So, do we trust the people of Bruen or not?"
"That was a long explanation. But if they were headed to the Milky Way, how did they end up in the Pegasus Galaxy?" Ronon asked.
"Maybe they took a wrong turn or something. Whatever the reason, we could have the wraith on the run for good. We could take back the galaxy and they wouldn't be able to do anything about it."
"He has a good point. So maybe these people decided to fight back instead of wait for the wraith to come back."
"Whatever the reason is, I say we head to M3X387 to find out the real truth."
"I agree. But maybe we could wake the rest of the people up first."
"Probably a good idea."
Bruen:
Soraya and her army were back on their home planet when the Hive Ship Autobots showed up. Using the detection system that Escoa had, they were able to figure out that the Hive Ships in orbit were the Autobots and not Wraith. Once the Hive Ships were settled on the planets surface and the weapons used during the attack on M4R549 put away, the Autobots transformed back into their normal bodies. Step one of becoming Protectors of the people of Pegasus was complete. The next few steps would be crucial.
The people of Bruen weren't expecting the Atlantis team members to come after them so quickly or to figure out what they were up to so they went about their normal duties. Attacking M4R984 would be the next day, of course that meant that they would be attacking a wraith planet every day of the week. No matter what happened, the wraith were going to become extinct sooner or later and if they could somehow find any Wraith Labs, that would work a whole lot better because they would be able to stop the wraith from cloning themselves or from experimenting on any one else in the galaxy.
The Gate:
Soraya was with Escoa and Djimbi by the Stargate when it was activated. Axis and the others who had transformed into Hive Ships, Cruisers and darts were about to transform back into them when the first of the Atlantis team walked through the gate. Weapons and transforming were stopped for the time being as Soraya and Kieran walked up to the gate. Ronon and Teyla were the first they saw and Djimbi and Escoa backed off just a little.
"Did you really think that we wouldn't follow you back to your home planet?" Teyla asked.
"We figured you might but we aren't going to fight you about it. You had information that we needed and we knew that you wouldn't give it to us unless we took it by force. It was the only way we could get the information that we needed."
"You could have asked to borrow it." Rodney said.
"We could have, but you wouldn't have let us take it off the base without accompanying us. Sorry, but we needed that information permanently and you weren't going to give it to us."
"All you took was information about wraith inhabited planets and some uninhabited planets. If all you wanted was information about the wraith we would have shared it with you. The wraith are an enemy of us as well." Colonel Shepard said.
"Maybe so, but you've had dealing with the wraith and are friends with some of them. No thanks, besides you can't stop us from what we are doing. We were about to head out so if you'll excuse us."
"Head out where?" Ronon asked.
"To M4R984, planet number two that we plan on attacking."
"Planet number two? Did you already attack a wraith planet?"
"Took out five hive ships on M4R549 in twenty minutes. Got all the information we needed from the ships before blowing them up and killing all the surviving wraith. They never even had a chance to get soldiers on the ground; we took them by complete surprise. According to the wraith tech we stole, M4R984 has at least ten hive ships and their escorts on the ground. They'll never see us coming."
"And how do plan on sneaking up on them?" Dr. Keller asked.
"In Hive Ships of course. Axis and the others were just about to transform into them when you arrived. You're welcome to have your ships meet us at the coordinates but believe me, we don't need their help. Let's go!"
Soraya announced that it was time to leave and left the ten Autobots that stayed behind before with the villages and headed towards Axis and the others that had just transformed. Once inside the ships, they departed from the planet and the Atlantis team returned to Atlantis.
Once back on Atlantis, the team was beamed aboard the Daedalus. Both the Daedalus and Apollo went into Hyperspace at the same time and headed for the coordinates that Soraya had mentioned they would be going to. They got there just as Soraya and her Autobots did.
M4R984:
Soraya, who had been aboard Axis and Kieran who had been aboard Escoa were still in orbit as the remaining hives, cruisers and darts started descending to the planet. The wraith probably thought the ships were there comrades coming back from a scouting mission, but were about to find out that that wasn't even close to being true.
