A/N: This next one shot was created with the idea of changing the genre of Symphogear completely, going about it by making it similar to Dragon Ball Z. This is the first of two parts taken with the idea of if Shem-Ha's inclusion in the story was similar to that of Super Buu from the Majin Buu saga of DBZ. With that out of the way, Enjoy!

Symphogear Z Part 1

Last time on Symphogear Z: The Symphogear wielders confronted the ever-growing threat that was Shem-Ha Mephorash before her onslaught of Earth could continue any further. While it seemed that they could handle her at first, Shem-Ha got the upper hand and stole the souls of Maria, Kirika, Shirabe, Tsubasa, and finally Miku, leaving only Chris and Hibiki to fight for their lives against their friends' powers. Will they be next to join in this monster's assimilation? The battle for Earth continues... Now.

A Last Resort! The Birth of Cibiki!

Chris and Hibiki stood speachless as Shem-Ha absorbed Miku's soul right in front of Hibiki. The monster had originally aimed to absorb Hibiki, but Miku sacrificed herself for her Sun's survival.

"MIKU!"

"How foolish. Sacrificing one's self in order to protect another. It will all be in vain in the end."

The monster laughed as she finished assimilating Miku's soul into herself, tossing the lifeless corpse aside before setting her sights back to Hibiki.

"Fret not, Tachibana Hibiki. You will see your friends again shortly. All you must do is accept your fa-"

Several rockets came flying at Shem-Ha's face, causing a massive explosion on contact.

"What are you doing, you idiot? Run!"

"But... Everyone is... Miku is..."

"I know! But she gave her life for yours! It's like you keep on saying, 'Don't give up on living!'"

"You're right, Chris-chan... Miku wouldn't want me to give up. So I refuse to give up on living!"

"How foolish."

Shem-Ha emerged from the smoke, slowly regenerating the injuries she suffered from Chris' surprise attack.

"But then again, you mortals were always such foolish creatures. So it makes sense you would give yourselves such false hopes."

Chris clenched her fist at hearing Shem-Ha taunt them.

"I'm starting to get real tired of you and your whole god complex, you freak!"

Chris unleashes another barrage of missiles at Shem-Ha, before grabbing Hibiki and running. Unfortunately for the remaining Symphogear wielders, this attack was simply blocked by a magical barrier.

"Did you really think that was going to work twice? Even after I was able to easily recover from the first attempt?"

In a swift motion, Shem-Ha appeared in front of the escaping wielders and knocked them to the ground with a single slash.

"It is impossible to run from the fate that awaits you now. But I admire the fact you think you still have a chance."

"D-Damn you!"

"That's right, curse out the world for being born weak. But fear not, for I shall take that weakness away from you both, and make you stronger beyond mortal comprehension through m-"

Suddenly a new figure arrived on the battlefield and punched Shem-Ha into the nearby mountainside.

"Good. I made it before that thing could take all of you."

"Master!"

"Geezer!"

Genjuro Kazanari arrived just in time to save Hibiki and Chris, giving them a proud smirk as he looked back at them.

"Elfnein-kun, take them away from the battlefield. I'll handle this while you get them ready."

"Understood Commander!"

Elfnein showed up behind both Chris and Hibiki and began to transport herself and the wielders away from the battle.

"Wait! Master no-"

"Good. Now all that's left is to hope Elfnein-kun's plan works."

As if on cue, Shem-Ha emerges from the mountain she was thrown into and bolts back to Genjuro.

"Another fool wishes to die for this planet? Wait. Where did the other two go."

"That is none of your concern! I'm your opponent now, not them!"

"Whatever. You shall die the same as the other mortals of this planet."

Genjuro and Shem-Ha started to trade blow for blow, impressing the latter at how someone could be so strong despite his lacking what her other opponents had. Meanwhile, Elfnein took Chris and Hibiki away from the battlefield to initiate their plan.

"What the hell are you thinking? The Geezer's as good as dead fighting that thing alone! Take us back!"

"Not yet, Chris-san. He's buying us time."

"Time? Time for what, Elfnein-chan?"

Elfnein reaches into her pockets and pulls out a pair of wristbands.

"Time for you two to become one."

"What?!"

"These wristbands will allow you two to become one for a limited amount of time. All you have to do is wear these, wear the pendant of one another, and recite your holy chants as if you were wearing your own Gears. Once that's complete, you should become one."

"T-That's absurd! How do you even know this will work? Surely there's another way to go about beating that thing!"

"There are no other options left. Shirabe-san and Kirika-san were able to assist me with the prototype for this, so there is a 90% chance that this will work."

"If that's so, then why didn't you just give it to them? If this works as you say it will then surely they wo-"

Chris recieved a powerful slap from Hibiki. "We don't have time to argue about it Chris!" Both Chris and Elfnein were surprised by Hibiki. "I'm sure you'd rather do this with someone like Maria-san or Tsubasa-san, I get that. But like Elfnein-chan said, we're out of options. So quit acting so stubborn and trust in Elfnein-chan's plan! If not for me, then do it for the others' sakes!"

In any other circumstance, Chris would've refused this plan, but for once, Hibiki had her beat. "Fine! Just give me the damn thing!"

Grabbing the wristband from Elfnein, Chris reverted out of her Gear and handed it to Hibiki as she did the same. Once both parties but on their wristbands and each other's pendants, they both sang their holy chants.

"Killiter Ichaival tron"

"Balwisyall nescell Gungnir tron"

The pendants around their necks began to glow brighter than ever, engulfing the wielders in bright lights that eventually merge together in a massive pillar of red and yellow light. "It worked!"

Meanwhile, try as he might, Genjuro could only keep up with the monsterous Shem-Ha for so long before he would tire out.

"I'm impressed, mortal. You managed to hold your own against the power of five Symphogear wielders where others would simply perish. You shall make an excellent addition to my power."

Shem-Ha laughed as Genjuro struggled to stand. But then she noticed the brilliant pillar of light in the distance. When the light dissipated, Shem-Ha was kicked twice as far away from the battle as she was from Genjuro's attack. When the dust settled from the attack, Genjuro was greeted by the sight of a woman with a mixture of long white hair and short light brown hair while wearing armor that resembled both Hibiki's Gungnir and Chris' Ichaival.

"Hibiki-kun? No. Chris-kun? That doesn't seem right either."

"Leave the rest to us now. Elfnein-chan will explain everything."

As if on cue, Elfnein arrived on the battlefield.

"Commander!"

"Get him to safety while we settle this."

With a nod, Elfnein left the battlefield with Genjuro in tow. As they left, Shem-Ha reappeared. "You mortals must really crave death to land as many blows as you have."

In that moment, Shem-Ha recognized the new warrior's armor and became confused. "Tachibana Hibiki? Wait... No, you're... Yukine Chris?"

"I am neither, and I am both."

The woman looked to Shem-Ha with her set of orange and purple eyes and smirked.

"Then who are you?"

"You may call me Cibiki, or more accurately, the one who will bring about your end!"

"Bold. I may not know how you two became one, but it will not matter in the end. You will join the rest all the same!"

"Then how about we stop with the formalities and get to the part where we kill you?"

Thanks to Elfnein's wristbands, Yukine Chris and Tachibana Hibiki merged into one and became Cibiki. But will this power be enough to avenge their fallen allies? The battle for Earth's survival concludes... Next Time on Symphogear Z!

"You will rue the day you thought you could match the power of a God!"

"Then it's time to put your money where you mouth is, 'God.' You've rambled on long enough!"
