In the Living Room, Dolly, Dylan, Dawkins, and Dixie were explaining to everyone about the meteor's powers and the reason for theirs and the Canal Crew's mutations.

Fergus: "So, let me get this straight. You guys found a meteor from outer space."

Dolly and Dylan nodded.

Fergus: "And said meteor is filled with a glowing yellow goo that is loaded with dark matter."

Dawkins and Dixie: "Yes."

Fergus: "So… and stop me if I'm wrong… you guys took that thing to your house, where your family lives, and studied it to find out that this meteor can give people superpowers. Without telling them that it could be dangerous, or cleaning yourselves off before you came inside the house?"

Dolly: "Pretty much. And looking back, that was a pretty stupid idea."

Dylan: "We didn't want anyone to freak out!"

D.J.: "Dylan, I think after what just happened, freaking out is the appropriate reaction."

Dolly: "Sorry, guys. But at least we know what this stuff can do now. We should keep it safe from other people until Mum and Dad get home."

One pup stood up to protest. This was Dobie, a pup who dreamed of being a police officer when she grew up and followed the law accordingly.

Dobie: "Dolly, that doesn't seem like a great idea. I mean, there are laws against that kind of thing. What if the police get suspicious?"

Da Vinci: "And what if the government gets wind of this? They could come after us to try and get that meteor and dissect you to find out how your powers work!"

Dylan: "Oh, dog! Dolly, they're right! We have to give this to the authorities!"

Dolly: "Dylan, humans aren't the smartest people! Do you know what they'll do with this stuff? Probably cause a world war or something! We can't let anybody find out we have this!"

Dylan: "Well, people are going to be suspicious, Dolly! What do we do when people start snooping around?"

Dolly: "We'll think of something! We can't just let them have that…"

The ground suddenly rumbled, and Diesel popped his head out of the ground.

Diesel: "Hey, what'd I miss? You guys wouldn't believe what I found in the bedroom!"

He goes back underground and comes back up with the meteor in his paws, along with some of the residue on them.

Diesel: "It's all slimy and awesome! I can't wait to bury it in the backyard!"

Dylan: "Diesel, no! Put that rock back in the bedroom now! That stuff is danger…"

Diesel dropped it to the ground, but as he did, it cracked open and sprayed the mutagen onto the rest of the pups, who screamed in fear.

Unfortunately, that was also the same time Doug and Delilah came home with lots of pizza as a surprise.

Doug: "Hello, honeys! We came home with…"

Some of the mutagens was sprayed onto them, leaving them in shock.

Delilah: "What on…"

Dolly: "Uh… we can explain."

25 minutes later…

Delilah: "So, just to recap, that meteor from space is loaded with a highly dangerous mutagen, which is all over the house, has all covered every one of the kids and even your friends, and us, and now we will develop superpowers when the mutagen kicks in. Is that right?

Dolly and Dylan: "Yes, mum."

Doug: "Kids, why didn't you just leave the meteor for the police or the hazmat team? Keeping a dangerous substance inside a house is incredibly reckless!"

Dolly: "But you know what humans will do with this stuff! We could be looking at…"

Delilah: "Dolly, you can't just assume every human you meet is evil! Sure some are monsters, but there's also a lot of decent people here! And Dylan, what on Earth told you touching a radioactive liquid was a good idea?"

Dylan: "I thought it was just something that was protected by the meteor's shell! I didn't know that it caused a person to get powers!"

Doug: "Son, either way, it was a terrible idea! (Sighs) Look, until we find out what powers the pups have, we need to find someone who will help us learn to control them, and make sure they don't tell anyone else."

Delilah: "But in the meantime, both of you are grounded."

Dolly: "But, Mum!"

Delilah: "Sorry, Dolly. But this all happened because you and Dylan didn't think about the consequences of your actions. So until we find someone to help us, you two have to make sure the pups don't get into any danger or mischief. Understand?"

Dylan: "Yes, mum. We'll make sure no one does anything dangerous or stupid. Right, Dolly?"

Dolly: "Yeah. This is our fault, after all."

Delilah: "Thank you both, loves. Now, let's get the pups dinner, and get some beds ready for the Canal Crew. They're staying here until we find that person to help control these new powers."

Doug: "But before we get everyone ready, can you tell us when you all got your powers? Because that mutagen has a timed effect from what you told us."

Dolly: "We all got our powers after about a half-hour, Dad. Wait… Dylan, how long has it been since that goo splattered on us?!"

Dylan: "Uh, 29 minutes. Wait, 29 minutes?! Oh, dog!"

"Suddenly, a black and white blur generating lightning shot out of the kitchen. It stopped right in front of the four, revealing itself to be Delgado."

Delgado: HeyMumandDad!Igotsuperspeed!Ohthisissocool!Everyoneelse'spowersarekickingintoo!Comeonandsee!

Delgado zipped back into the kitchen in a blue and yellow flash of lighting back to the kitchen.

The four ran to the kitchen after him and were completely shocked by what they saw.

Dizzy was creating thunderous balls of energy in her hands, while Dee Dee turned into a bolt of lightning, zipping around the kitchen, Da Vinci was floating in the air in a rainbow-colored glow, creating solid light objects of different colors, DJ was playing on his keyboard, and little white glowing globes shot out, playing music.

Diesel was becoming excited and suddenly he morphed into a creature that looked like it was made out of lava. Destiny was controlling water from the sink with her hands glowing and shaping it into mini statues of herself and her other triplet sisters, while Dallas was shooting blue and white gusts of energy from her hands, turning them into mini ice sculptures.

Deja Vu was creating clones of herself by splitting apart, Dimitri 1 was floating in the air, his feet shooting out fire to keep him aloft, Dimitri 2 was throwing tiny rocks at windows, which exploded, and Dimitri 3 was shooting beams from his hands which shrank or enlarged whatever they hit.

Deepak was floating off of the ground, his body glowing green as he sighed, Dante was standing there with his body covered in red marks and spikes, and his eyes glowing red with a red third eye on top of his head.

As the pups discovered their power, Doug and Delilah suddenly noticed that their paws glowed.

Delilah: "Oh my dog!"

Doug: "What can we do?"

Suddenly, Doug's body turned into red metal, his tall grew and elongated, his eyes turned blue and his back had a panel open, which a large water cannon emerged.

Doug: "Oh my kibbles! I'm a firefighting machine!"

Delilah: "Well, that's amazing, Doug! But what are my.."

*A tiny black ball formed in her right paw, and a tiny glowing white ball formed in her left."

Dolly: "Whoa! What can you do, Mum?"

Delilah: "I don't…"

*A large rock came flying at her, and as she raised her paws to defend herself, a black vortex appeared and broke it apart, molecule by molecule, and sucked it in."

Delilah: "Wow…"

Dylan: "This has been a weird day..."
