A/N Ok I am back with a new chapter and sorry if my chapters are too short, but I am juggling school with my obsession. This chapter is where the game changes. Also, I have read many fan fics so if I subconsciously use something from theirs, and you know please tell me, so I can give them credit for their work. Lets gooo :)

Hogwarts Headmaster's office

October 11, 1980

"James please listen to me, we have intelligence that the Dark Lord will be coming after the twins, you have to go in hiding."- "Albus I am a Gryffindor I can't just be a coward and go into hiding!" Albus sighed, Lily and he were constantly trying to convince James to take a break from the Auror Department and go into hiding, but it was to no use. James wouldn't stop trying to play a fight that he was probably going to lose. Nobody survived if Voldemort was after them.

"JAMES POTTER YOU HAVE TWO CHILDREN NOW, IF YOU LET YOUR STUPID GRYFFINDOR BIGHEAD GET IN THE WAY OF MY BABIES' SAFETY I WILL DIVORCE YOU AND TAKE THEM IN AN UNPLOTTABLE LOCATION! James-sniff- please I want my children to live."

"Lily OK, but I can't go back to the Manor I still need time to recuperate from my Mum's death. Albus can you add wards to the cottage in Godric's Hollow we can live there for some time and then return to the Manor."- "Of course James I think we should add a fidelius for good measure, do you think I should be your secret keeper?"- "No Albus I think Sirius should be the secret keeper." Not wanting James to go back to the hardcore Gryffindor attitude he nodded in agreement and the Potters floo'ed back to the town house and went straight to the nursery.

In a weeks worth of time the Potter's had moved into the cottage and the wards were set up all except the fidelius which Sirius would cast in a few days.

"Honestly, James I talked to Peter and told him that I would cast the fidelius, but he had this brilliant idea where he casts the fidelius and then you guys make me the decoy secret keeper and nobody will suspect it is Peter. And he thinks that Remus is the traitor, so we shouldn't tell him or anyone about this."

"I think that's a great idea" Lily pitched in "We should get hm to come tomorrow because he is leaving to meet his mother the day after tomorrow."

"If you both think so then let's mirror call him right now, I don't want to wait any longer."

And they did.

(1 month before the attack)

Potter Cottage

"I love you Amy, oh yes I do my little cub I am sorry I couldn't come and meet you too often, but that doesn't mean I don't miss you. You are my cub and I will work day and night if it meant you could live in a safe world." At that Amethyst leaned into Moony's chest and hugged him as best as she could with her tiny and chubby arms. Amy changed a lot since she grew older, now she could read and talk. She had already shown many signs of accidental magic. It turns out that Amy is a Metamorphagus, while not a full metamorphagus she could still change the colour of her hair at will. Even if she couldn't speak in proper sentences she changed her hair to explain how she felt.

Light Pink would mean she agrees with you, Hot Pink means that she wants to read, Light blue means that she wants to fly on her little broom, Dark blue means that she is about to sleep, Red means she strongly disagrees, White hair meant that she was confused, yellow means that she is hungry, Lavender means that she is scared, Grey means she is bored, Orange means she wants Padfoot, Mint blue means she wants Harry, Fiery Orange means she wants to go to the Burrow, Turquoise means that she wants Prongs, Caramel brown means She wants Lily and Golden means that she wants Moony. Because she isn't a full metamorphagus she can't change the texture of her hair which naturally now fell to her back in neat waves.

Harry and Amy were very fond of each other and Harry had begun to show signs of magic too, yesterday when Prongs ate his little banana he vanished his father's glasses and only brought them back when James apologized. Both the twins showed a great interest in flying and did so very well on their training brooms.

Amy always held a stuffed dog she received for her first birthday wherever she went, the stuffed dog was a present from her godfather which doubled as a tracker for the child. Amy and Harry's birthday party was family only for the safety of the family. To flaunt for the fact that Amy's first word was "Pa-foo", Sirius got a cake with a grim and orange lining (orange being the colour that meant Sirius) for her. Harry's cake was a light blue with an animated broom because his first word was "fwy".

Amy and Sirius spent so much time together that Lily was on the lookout for pranks even coming from a one-year-old because Amethyst was a very bright child.

31st October 1981

The day of the attack

Potter Cottage

"He's here Lily take the tw- he was interrupted by Voldemort's flick of hand which had him down with a stunner.

The Dark Lord walked up the stairs to a door which said Princess Amethyst and Prince Harry. Inside he could hear the sobs of a woman, and he lazily muttered an incantation which opened the door and the furniture that was lined in front of the door vanished before it could fall to the ground. Inside Lily Potter was holding a rope and was standing in front of the cot. The rope was supposed to be a Portkey because nobody could apparate in the house and the windows were all sealed by Voldemort. But before Lily could finish the Portkey she heard the door open, so she stood in a dueling stance and fired a Protego which stood the force of Voldemort's stunner. Naturally the Dark Lord was impressed.

"Well, well, well Mud blood you certainly are more impressive than your Pure-blooded husband who fell in a second." The force of Voldemort's spell was pushing the struggling witch backwards.

"Please spare my children they are innocent." At the sound of the evil laughs from the insane dark lord Amy woke up.

"Mum whu happen to Amy's room?" with that question the Dark Lord's attention turned to the little baby who was standing in her cot clutching a stuffed dog.

The Dark Lord was getting frustrated and quickly stunned the crying witch with a wordless stunner. Now he turned to the little girl whose hair changed from jet black to a dirty white.

"Ah a metamorphagus how lovely, such talent gone to waste- at this point Harry also woke up and started crying at the sight of cruel scarlet eyes- oh I hate whiners Silencio! Now back to our talk little Amethyst was it?" He was interrupted in his little speech when a small glass cube hit him on the back of his head.

" Don make Hawwy cwy bad man!" And her hair turned red to match her anger.

"You filthy little tyke, how dare you! AVADA KEDAVRA! Before it could hit either of the twins Amethyst created a golden shield to surround her and her little twin. The spell defected and Voldemort screamed in agony as he felt pain beyond pain. Amy fell back and hit her head making her unconscious while Harry cried due to a piece of the ceiling falling on his forehead leaving a jagged V scar.

Meanwhile…

Sirius Black felt something pull his magical bond and he apparated outside the Potter Cottage. He was shocked the upper level of the cottage was blasted apart in debris and dust. He ran as fast as he could in the cottage to find a slump James Potter but to his utter gratefulness he could see his chest coming up and down in a steady beat. After a quick Enervate he and James found Lily in the same position, and they helped her too.

"My babies Harry, Amy find them!" Lily cried in tears.

"They are right here they both seem alright and alive, but Harry has a scar on his forehead we need to go to Dumbledore right now he will know what to do." The three made their way outside because the floo was utterly broken to side apparate to Hogsmeade.

Hogwarts

Headmaster's Office

The infants were asleep from a mild sleeping charm. Sirius didn't want to leave his pup not even for a second, so he sat with Amy in his lap rocking her back and forth. Her hair was gradually making its way from the angry red to an orange.

"So it's true my little Harry will be the one to fight Voldemort when he returns."

"Yes I am afraid so Lily, I wouldn't want a burden so heavy on the shoulders of a little boy, but Fate is not always fair. The Dark Lord has marked him, and he will have to fight him again using whatever power he used this time. Harry Potter is the Boy who Lived the Savior of the Wizarding World. Marked by Fates."

But nobody saw the lightning bolt scar the on the cheek of Amethyst Lily Potter. A scar which she unknowingly hid with her metamorphic abilities.

Fates were laughing at the mistake of the old coot, the So-Called "Leader of the Light".
