As it turns out, Prof discovered that the PPG's had a limited food capacity and going past it would kill them. The food capacity was at 9,947 when Blossom started choking, and even though it was below it, Prof also discovered that there was a 25% chance that going under it would kill them. Currently, Bubbles and Buttercup were at 9634 and 8275 respectively.

They were in shock of what they just heard. They were dying by eating? That was impossible! They wanted to not believe it, but at the same time, it just made too much sense. They needed to find a cure so that they could stop this, fast! And so they went back into their rooms and started planning. The sadness surrounding Townsville would not stop them from giving her a great funeral.
