My family and I are moving to Michigan. My name is James Knudson but my friends call me J.D. My mom and dad, my sister, brother-in-law, niece, nephew and I are moving into our new multi-million dollar mansion in Royal Woods, Michigan today.

As I was walking out the door of our new home I called out to my mom, "I'm going to go check out the neighborhood."

She yelled back to me, "Be Safe!"

I was checking out the neighborhood, and as I walked along Franklin Avenue, I found one house that was really chaotic. The house was 1216 Franklin Avenue. It looked like a lot of people lived there and a lot of noise was coming from it.

I stared at the house and said out loud, "Boy that house is hectic."

As I started moving along I accidentally bumped into someone since I wasn't watching where I was going.

I yelped in slight pain and started apologizing immediately, "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going."

The person I ran into was actually a kid with white hair, and his name was Lincoln.

Lincoln brushed off the apology and said, "It's okay. It happens to me too. Oh you must be new here. I'm Lincoln Loud."

I smiled back at him and shook his hand, "It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm James Knudson. But call me J.D. Me and my family just moved here from Castle Rock, Colorado. We live in that mansion 1 block southwest of here."

I then pointed a behind me to the direction where the mansion was located.

Lincoln looked awestruck as he replied, "Wow! That's awesome. Let me introduce you to my family."

I shrugged my shoulders since I've got nothing else to do and it would be nice to make some friends. So I replied, "Okay,"

So, I decided to follow Lincoln to his house, and then we went inside. When I saw the inside, I couldn't help but notice it was just as big as where I used to live.

Lincoln saw me looking around and said, "Welcome to the Loud House. Let me show you around."

He took me straight to the kitchen first, and introduced me to his parents who were standing by the door.

Linclon spoke to his parents while introducing me, "Mom, Dad, I'd like you to meet J.D. Knudson. He just moved here from Castle Rock, Colorado."

Lynn Sr. smiled at me and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you J.D. I'm Lynn Loud Sr. and This is my lovely wife Rita."

I shook both of their hand politely and said, "Pleasure to meet you both."

Rita then broke the ice first and asked me, "So how do you like it here in Royal Woods?"

I spoke enthusiastically as I responded, "It's Awesome so far."

Lynn Sr smiled even more brightly and said, "Well welcome to the neighborhood."

I smiled in appreciation and said, "Thank you."

Lincoln interrupted the conversation, and I turned to him as he said, "Come on J.D. Let me show you our pets."

I turned back to his parents and said politely, "Okay. It was nice to meet you both."

Lynn Sr chuckled and responded, "Pleasure is ours."

We left the kitchen and went back to the hallway where Lincoln introduced me to his pets. A dog, a cat, a canary and a hamster.

Lincoln pointed to each pet as he introduced them, "These are our pets. The dog is Charles, the cat is Cliff, the canary is Walt and the hamster is Geo. We named them after cartoon characters."

I couldn't help but notice how adorable they were and said, "They're so cute."

Lincoln nodded happily at that, "I know. Let me show you my room."

We left the pets to do their own thing, and Lincoln took me upstairs to show me his room. When we got to his room, I couldn't help but notice how small it was.

Lincoln waved his hand around his room and said, "This is my room."

I couldn't help but voice my previous thoughts out loud, "It seems rather small."

Lincoln didn't seem all that concerned about it as he responded, "Yeah it's a converted linen closet but, I'm happy with it."

I shrugged my shoulders at this and looked around his room. He had a lot of really neat stuff. Then I said, "Well whatever works out. You got a lot of cool stuff."

Lincoln blushed a little in appreciation and said, "Thanks. Also I have 10 sisters."

I was shocked when he said that he had that many sisters. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't keep the shock out of my voice as I yelled, "10 Sisters!? Holy Guacamole!"

Lincoln didn't seem suprised when I shouted this. He's heard this many times before. since many people can't believe he has that many sisters.

Lincoln said, "I know. Would you like to meet them?"

Once I got over my shock at having 10 sisters, I said in a calm voice, "Sure."

We then left Lincoln's room and went to the nearest bedroom. This bedroom had a crib, a bed and a chemical set. We went over to the crib and Lincoln introduced me to the baby.

Lincoln and I looked down at the baby and he said, "This is the youngest: Lily. She's 15 months old."

I couldn't help but notice how adorable she was, "Aw, she's so cute."
Once I said this, Lily looked like she was about to cry loudly.

I saw this and I immediately knew what she wanted.

I said, "Oh I think I know what you want."

I saw a lavender blankie nearby and handed it to her. She immediately started calming down once she held it.

Lincoln was in awe as he saw this and said, "You're great with babies J.D."

I smiled in appreation and said, "I've had some experiences."

I picked up Lily from her crib and started to speak baby talk to her, "You want to see some silly faces?"

I started making lots of silly faces for her and she started laughing, and clapping her hands in happiness.

Lincoln was still stuck in amazement as he responded, "Wow, you are great with that."

I stopped making silly faces at Lily and put her back in her crib. Once she was back in her crib the second youngest sibling came into the room.

Lisa adjusted her glasses she then looked at me and said, "Greetings elder brother. Who is this fine gentleman you have with you?"

Lincoln decided to introduce us to each other. He pointed to both of us and said, "This is my friend J.D. Knudson. J.D. this is Lisa."

I smiled at her and said politely, "It's a pleasure to meet you Lisa."

Lincoln then continued the introduction, "Lisa is the genius of us. She's 4-years-old and she has a PhD and won a Junior Nobel Prize."

I was amazed and impressed that someone so young could accomplish so much. I put in my two cents, "Wow. That's amazing. I've noticed all sorts of high-technology equipment when we came in here. Lisa are you trying to figure out how to cure every disease known to man and invent new ways to benefit all of humanity?"

Lisa was glad someone apprietiated her talents and said, "Yes I am. I've recently came up with a cure for Escherichia Coli, street name: E-coli."

I was very impressed and said, "Wow! That is incredible."

But, before Lisa could respond a loud young girls voice screamed, "LAAANAA! STOP IT!"

Lana retorted back, "Make me!"

Lincoln sighed in exasperation and said, "We got another twin fight."

I was impressed that he had twin sisters, "Twin sisters huh? Cool."

We then left their room and went into the next room. This room happened to be the twins room who were fighting a moment ago. The twins were having a huge fight and a cloud was forming around them showing it was a serious fight.

I was shocked that they were fighting and at the same time I wasn't. Since some twins fight all the time. I turned to Lincoln and decided to ask, "Does this happen a lot?"

Lincoln sighs, "Yep it does."

Lincoln went over to the cloud that contained the twin sisters. He grabbed them by the scuffs of their shirts, and they stopped fighting once they noticed they had company.

Lincoln let go of their shirts and said, "Guys I'd like you to meet my friend J.D. He just moved here."

I smiled at them and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you both. Can you tell me about yourselves?"

The one wearing a dress decided to go first, " My name is Lola Loud. I like Tea Parties, the Color Pink, and photo shoots. I compete in Beauty Pageants."

I was very impressed and I could definetly tell that she competed alot. I complimented her, "I can see that. You have a lot of Pageant Crowns and trophies. You have quite the talent."

Lola beamed at me in appreciation and said, "Why thank you."

Not to be outdone by her sister the tomboyish one said, "My name is Lana Loud. I like mud, animals, and I'm a handyman."

She took out a buisness card from her overalls and continued, "I do toilets, sinks, showers and automobiles."

I took the buisness card and was very impressed. All I could say was, "Wow."

A frog hopped onto Lana's shoulder. She decided to introduce him to me, "This is my friend Hops"

I was impressed that she had a frog and I spoke to Hops, "It's a pleasure to meet you Hops."

I put out my hand tol greet him and Hops high-fived me with his tongue.

Lincoln finished off the introduction by saying, "Lana & Lola are both 6 years old and they have different traits."

I shrugged it off that was fine by me and i said outloud, "That's all right with me."

At that moment the 4th youngest sibling came in wanting to ask her brother something. She said, "Lincoln can I ask you a quick question?"

Lincoln smiled at her and said, "Sure Laney. But first let me introduce you to someone. This is my friend J.D. Knudson. He just moved here from Colorado. J.D. This is Laney Loud. She is 7 years old and she is our artist."

Laney turned to me and said politely, "It's a pleasure to meet you."

I smiled since she was the nicest so far and said, "Likewise."

Lincoln looked apologetic, "Sorry J.D. I miscounted. I have 11 sisters."

I waved the apology off and then I spoke back to Laney, "That's alright. It happens to me too. So what kind of pictures do you paint?"

Laney took us to her room and showed me all of her paintings. There were all sorts off paintings. and they were very beautiful. She had lots of talent.

I complimented Laney on her paintings, "Laney, your pictures are beautiful."

Laney was appretiative of this, "Thank you."

Lincoln then suddenly remembered Laney wanted to ask him something. Lincoln asked, "So what did you want to ask me?"

Laney looked abashed and said, "I forgot. I'm sorry."

I felt bad for her since that could happen to anyone. I said to Laney, "That happens to me too. I hate it when that happens."

Out of nowhere a pipe organ plays and the 5th youngest appeared scaring the heck out of us.

She was dressed as a goth and she said to Lincoln, "Hey Lincoln."

Lincoln caught his breath and replied, "Hey Lucy. This is my friend J.D."

I could tell she was into everything dark and meloncoly and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you Lucy. I take it you're into vampires and dark stuff?"

Lucy acknowledged this, "That's right."

I decided to impress her with a band that I liked, "I'm a fan of the band Within Temptation. They're awesome."

Lucy's tone of voice didn't change as she responded, "Interesting. I'm into poetry and I have my own funeral service."

She then took a buisness card out of her pockets and handed it to me. I looked at the card that said Lucy's Lament. It was very impressive. I told her, "Lucy's Lament. I'll have to call you when one of my family members kicks the bucket so to speak."

Lucy was grateful, and she then took out a piece of paper and said, "Thank you. I need a word that rhymes with "rain"."

I inwardly grimaced since I wasn't good at poetry but I decided to help her anyways. I then told her, "Poetry isn't really my thing but I know a few. How about Gain, Drain, Train or Chain?"

Lucy walked away as she thanked me for my imput, "Thank you."

I turned to Lincoln and I told him, "Lucy is pretty cool."

Lincoln agreed but shuddered a little bit, "Yeah but to me she can be spooky."

I didn't have any problem with that and said, "Well that's okay."

Not a second later someone yelled, "Heads up!"

A football came soaring into the room and I caught it on instinct.

Lincoln was impressed again, "Wow! You got quick reflexes."

I took the compliment, "Thank you."

Just then the 5th oldest came in. She was the one who threw the football.

She complimented me, "You caught my football? Cool."

Lincoln decided to introduce us to each other, "Lynn this is my friend J.D. J.D. this is Lynn. She's 13-years-Old and she's the Sports Fanatic and Athlete."

I said to Lynn Jr, "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Lynn Jr. replied, "Same here."

She decided to shake hands. As I took her hand to shake it I noticed she had a very strong grip.

I let go of her hand and complimented her, "Wow. You have a strong grip. What sports do you play?"

Lynn Jr. was very enthusastic as she told me what sports she played, "Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Football, Hockey, And More."

I was very impressed about the number of sports she played, "Wow. You have a tremendous love of sports. I watch a lot of football and baseball on t.v. But I mostly watch crime documentaries."

Lynn Jr. just replied, "Cool."

Lincoln decided to interupt us before we could go any further, "We still have more sisters to meet."

As we were about to enter Luna and Luan's room, Lincoln pulled out an umbrella as a bucket of water dumped on us. We didn't get soaked.

I was impressed with the prank, "The old water bucket over the door trick. A classic."

Luan came out of the room and joked, "Come on Lincoln. I thought we were Pails."

She laughed at her own joke and a rimshot was heard.

I laughed, "Good one."

Lincoln on the other hand groaned in response, "J.D. This is Luan. She's 14 years old and she is the jokester."

I smiled and said, "It's a pleasure and I can tell you have quite the sense of humor."

Luan smiled in appreation, "Thank you. I have a," she takes out a joy buzzer as she shakes my hand zapping me, "shocking personslity." She laughs and a rimshot is heard, "Get it."

I laughed some more, "You are so Funny!"

Luan takes out her joy buzzer and says, "Thank you I know what Buzzes you." She laughs again and another rimshot is heard.

I laugh again, "Lincoln, Luan is Hilarious!" I laugh the hardest ever as I say, "Call a doctor! I'm about to bust a gut!"

Lincoln ignoring me says to Luan, "J.D. just moved here from Colorado Luan."

Luan whistled, "Wow. I've heard it's beautiful there."

I finally calm down from laughing so hard. I decided to apologize, "Sorry about that. It is beautiful. The Mountains are gorgeous."

Suddenly we heard electric guitar music playing, and we saw the Luna the 3rd oldest playing.

I loved her music and said, " Rock on Dudette!"

Luna still playing says, "Thanks dude."

As Lincoln was about to speak Luna finished playing her music. Lincoln says, "Luna this is J.D. He just moved here from Colorado. Luna is 15 years old."

I said to Luna, "Pleasure to meet you Luna."

Luna replies, "Likewise Dude."

I noticed she was great with music, so I decided to ask her, "So you're the rockstar of the family?"

Luna comfirmed this, "Yep. My idol Mick Swagger is my inspiration and it's Rockin!" She then did a guitar strum, "Yeah!"

I gave her a rockstar pose, "Rock on!"

We left Luna and Luan to do their thing and went to the last room on that floor. Once we got there the 2nd oldest came out and she was very pretty.

She gave me confused look and said, "Oh hello there. Are you Elvis?"

I laughed at the compliment, "No I'm not. But a lot of people say that I look like Elvis brought back as someone else."

Lincoln spoke up to help clear up the confusion, "Leni this is J.D. He just moved here. J.D. This is Leni. She's 16 years old."

I told her, "It's a pleasure."

Leni replied, "Likewise."

I decided to tell her how pretty she was, "You sure are pretty Leni."

Leni blushed a little, "Oh why thank you J.D."

Leni decided to continue on to where she was going. We went inside to meet the eldest sister who was on her phone texting.

Lincoln decided to get Lori's attention, "Hey Lori."

Lori who was still texting didn't bother to look up as she responded, "Whatever it is, I'm busy."

I decided to introduce myself, "You must be the eldest of the Loud sisters. I'm J.D. I just moved here from Colorado."

Lori finally stopped texting and put down her phone and responded, "Oh. It's a pleasure. I'm Lori. I was texting Bobby."

I was curious if this was her boyfriend and decided to ask, "I take it he's your boyfriend?"

She had a fond look on her face as she said, "Yes he is."

Lincoln decided to add, "Lori is 17 years old and she's the bossy one."

Once Lincoln said this I saw that Lori's face was turning red in anger. All I could say without antogonizing her more was, "I see."

Lori started calming down at this and decided to change the subject and ask, "So how beautiful is Colorado?"

I responded in a fond voice, "The mountains are gorgeous. I loved Colorado and lived there for my entire life. I'm going to love Royal Woods even more. I got to get home and finish moving in to my huge mansion."

Once I said huge mansion the entire Loud Family came barging in. They were all amazed that I lived in a mansion and started bombarding me with questions.

I put my hands up and said, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! One at a time people."

Lola decided to speak first, "How did you get a mansion?"

I responded, "My family won the Jackpot of the Colorado Lottery and we're now filthy rich."

They all started speaking at once again. But quieted down once Lori asked, "Can you show us?"

I had no problem with showing them where I lived and said, "Sure."

I led the Loud family to our huge multi-million dollar mansion down the block and they were in awe once they saw how big it was.

Once we got there I said, "Welcome to my Humble Abode."

"You live in the old Morbucks Estate?" Lori stated in disbelief and awe.

I confirmed what she was saying, "Yep. I take it they were the previous owners of this mansion?"

Lola spoke next in a disgusted voice, "Yeah. Princess Morbucks was the worst, spoiled rotten and snobbiest child ever known here in Michigan. She went to our school at Royal Woods Elementary and after she went on several crime sprees she became homeless."

Lisa continued next, "All their assets were seized and they were evicted and forced to live on the streets."

I spoke with disgust as I heard this, "I hate people like that. She got what was coming to her."

We went inside my home and I showed the Loud's around and they saw all of the numerous rooms. The Loud's were amazed what the saw and couldn't believe that I lived there. They decided to leave and go back home after the tour. I finished unpacking my stuff and got into bed.

As I laid in bed I said to myself, "I'm gonna love it here in Michigan."
