Here's chapter two! Hope you enjoy! (Also-this was inspired by a headcanon I read, I'm not trying to take credit for the story idea, just the expansion of it. Many of my stories are expanded headcanons :))

Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson and the Olympians or any of the characters I use, and any similarities to any other story is purely accidental.

One sweltering summer day, Sally Jackson-Blofis returned to her apartment from a meeting and immediately turned on all the fans in the house. For the first time in a while, Sally was home alone, and she was looking forward to some quality time writing.

But before she could start, she noticed the dozen new voicemail messages she had received in the past hour.

She clicked on one and raised an eyebrow as Percy and Annabeth's voices blared through the speaker.

Mom, it's so hot!

Mrs Jackson, sorry to bother you, but we're out of ice cream. Do you have any?

The pool's closed for the day and they're not letting people onto the beach because of riptides or something. Any ideas?

And on and on it went, until the final message:

Mom, if someone doesn't answer the phone soon we're breaking into your apartment and stealing all of the ice cream. All of it.

Mrs Jackson pursed her lips and walked to the kitchen. Before she did, she pressed her ear to the door, from the other side of which she could hear faint strains of two voices squabbling like only two people could. Smiling, she pushed open the door to see two demigods laying on the floor, devouring buckets of ice cream, Sally's big fan aimed down at them. Percy had ice cream on his nose and Annabeth had popsicle juice on her chin.

Percy looked up. "Oh, hey, Mom." he said in an innocent voice.

"Hello, Sally." Annabeth said in an equally innocent tone.

And Sally just had to laugh.

Aaaand that's it! I hope you enjoyed! The next chapter should be up in a few days. Please RR, and see you next time!
