2. Dino
Dino, much unlike Yamamoto, had been an accident. They were walking around in the forest, as he had lost Enzio. Gokudera had insisted on walking with Tsuna, but his boss had begged him to keep an eye on Dino, and really, how could he say no to a request of Jyuaandaime?
He felt flattered that Tsuna trusted him with this task, so he ended up scouting the forest together with the other Italian. ''Oh, I hope he didn't get too close to water.'' Dino said. ''You really should take better care of him. Why did you bring him along and not hand him to one of your family?'' Gokudera asked.
''They went to a spa.'' Dino answered. 'Ok, the one spot you don't want Enzio to be.' Gokudera thought that was a smart decision. ''So, do you like your new family? As a kid, I never saw you smile this much.'' Dino said, making small talk. ''That is not really your business, is it?'' Gokudera scowled.
''If you say so. I like them, Tsuna will make a good boss.'' Dino said. ''No one can surpass Jyuundaime.'' Gokudera automaticaly replied, scanning the areas if he could see the turtle anywhere. 'Such trust.' Dino thought, sure, his subordinates were amazing, but he never seen this level of commitment.
''That Yamamoto kid is also pretty talented.'' he said instead, and Gokudera turned entirerly scarlet, remembering their encounter at the sushi place. 'Not anger.' Dino noted, before asking Gokudera's opinion. ''Where did you even drop that damn turtle?'' Gokudera asked instead. ''Well, I don't really remember where I dropped Enzio, but he can't walk all that fast.'' Dino said.
''So, he could be anywhere?'' Gokudera asked. ''Basically. He seemed rather hungry today though.'' Dino said thoughtful. Gokudera sighed. ''We are in a forest area, with plenty to eat, a scary amount of water, and your pet on the loose. Jyuundaime could be in danger any moment, so let's head back.'' he said.
Dino nodded, though checking towars the water, before he saw something moving. ''Enzio!'' he said, and pulled out his whip. ''Wait!'' Gokudera wanted to protest, none of his subordinates were there after all, but was too late. As expected of Dino, the whip lashed back, hitting Gokudera and Dino himself in the face.
''Damn idiot.'' Gokudera said, rubbing the sore spot. ''Enzio, near, water.'' Dino groaned, and Gokudera quickly moved downstairs. He didn't exactly knew what happened when Enzio would make it to the water, but the last time it happened, the mountain god wasn't all too pleased. Normally, he would blast the damn thing away with dynamite, but Gokudera actually did kinda care for animals, and it would worry the heck out of Jyuudaime.
He rolled down, grabbed the animal and now, though being bruised, he held the very much protesting Enzio in his hand, pulled away from the water. ''Yeah, yeah.'' he said, as the turtle screeched. Dino made his way down too, before taking Enzio from his hold. ''Thanks.'' he said as he cuddled the pet closer.
Just at that moment, Enzio decided to protest a bit more fierce, and bit Dino's hand, who dropped him into the water. He and Gokudera stared shocked, and in a matter of seconds, a hundred meter tall Enzio stood roaring in front of them. ''The mountain god!'' Gokudera shrieked, and Dino has a brief second staring in disbelief, before he said, ''Run!''
As they quicky headed away from Enzio, Yamamoto and Tsuna headed towards them, so they met up. ''Guess you found him.'' Tsuna said, and Dino nodded. He looked at Gokudera fiercely praying. ''I also droppped him into the water.'' Dino admitted. 'Seriously.' Tsuna wondered if Dino's mishaps were possibly as lethal as Reborn's planned attacks.
They ran out of the forest, as Enzio found a nice place to nap, and got dried up by the sun. When they found the shrunken down snoozing turtle, Dino gave a thumbs up. Gokudera, who didn't really knew were the mountain god had went too, finally calmed down. ''Well, glad that's over with.'' he said, and Dino smiled, leaning towards him to say something, before tripping over a loose pebble.
In the fall, he took Gokudera down with him, and his lips chrashed against the other Italian's, as they fell down to the ground. Gokudera laid there shocked, as Dino decided to make it a custom move, slightly pecking him, before sheepishly saying, ''Italian way of thanking you?'' Yamamoto nodded, that made sense to him, as Tsuna was just as shocked as Gokudera was, staring in total disbelief.
Gokudera, too shocked to even protest, got carried home by Yamamoto, as Dino cuddled his beloved pet. Out of nowhere, Reborn popped up, dressed as a hunter for whatever reason, before grabbing Enzio. ''It's a perfect time for a training.'' he said, before throwing Enzio in the water again.
