In New York; Eda who was now perfectly sober was walking with the others before groaning.
"Oh man, I don't feel so good. Those tequila worms aren't sitting right with me." said Eda.
Luz looked at her mentor.
"You should really lay off the booze." said Luz.
"I'll never do that." said Eda.
"We're here." said Tails.
The group stopped and saw a knife shop between two apartment buildings.
Eda became confused.
"This is where I sold the scythe? I was expecting it to be very fancy." said Eda.
"Beggars can't be choosers." said Crash.
"I hear that." said a voice and everyone saw a beggar laughing.
Crash shook his head.
Sonic opened the door and the group entered the knife shop.
He looked around and saw many types of knifes.
"Hmm, this is an impressive display." said Sonic.
"I know." said Luz, "Makes me wish I had a knife."
Then a buff man with a mustache and beard and snake tattoos on his arms appeared.
"Welcome to my knife shop, how can I help you?" said the man.
Everyone became shocked.
"That's who I sold the scythe to? Yeesh I need to lay off the alcohol." said Eda.
"Agreed." everyone said.
"I'm looking for a scythe that was sold here years ago." Dijal said before showing a picture of the golden scythe.
The man saw it and nodded.
"Oh yeah I remember that." He said.
He walked off before returning with the scythe, but it didn't have the gems.
Everyone looked at the man.
"Hey, what gives, where are the gems that were on this thing?" said Dijal.
"I removed the gems and sold them for a fortune." said the man.
This caused Dijal to become mad and hold his sword out to the man's throat.
"You sold the gems?" said Dijal.
Crash shook his head.
Interview Gag
"And people say I'm an idiot." said Crash.
End Interview Gag
"I made the gems into earrings for my wife, but then she divorced me and I sold them instead." said the man.
Crash pulled out a tiny piano and played the first part of Betthoven's fifth symphony.
Everyone looked at him.
"What?" said Crash.
"Try playing something a little more cheery." said Luz.
Crash did some thinking before he began playing the Rugrats theme song.
"Good thing I prepared for the reboot." said Sonic.
He pulled out a Reptar doll and squeezed it.
"I am Reptar, hear me roar." the Reptar doll said.
The nose then flared up before firing some fireballs out of it, shocking everyone as they moved out of the way.
The flames hit a lamp and the shop owner pulled out a fire extinguisher and sprayed down the fire.
"That has got to be the most dangerous toy ever. I want one of my own." said King.
"Who in their right mind would build a Godzilla knockoff toy that actually shoots out fire?" said Randy.
Sonic looked at the tag and saw that it said 'Pickle's Toys'.
"Figures." said Sonic.
Crash played the tiny piano some more.
But Dijal destroyed it with his sword.
The bandicoot however pulled out another tiny piano and played it.
"Why is he and his family even living with us again?" said Eda.
"The co author really enjoyed Crash's character. The main author was actually planning on him being a one time character, hence his one liner when he defeated Swiss Army. But since the co author liked Crash Bandicoot so much, he wanted him to move in. Sure came as a surprise to the main author since he was thinking that the co author wouldn't like him that much. Yet he's seen that Skylanders show on Netflix." said Luz.
Eda nodded.
"Right." said Eda.
Later; the group exited the knife shop with the scythe.
"Well, this sucks, I got the scythe back, but I need the gems to go with it." said Dijal.
Everyone was confused.
"I'm confused, what's with the gems on the scythe?" said Tails.
"The gems on the scythe are needed for the scythe so I can repel the beast. The gems represent the main covens one can learn on the Boiling Isles." said Dijal.
Everyone became shocked.
"Each of the covens? Boy, Belos would sure like to keep someone from having a weapon with the powers of all the covens." said Sonic.
Dijal nodded.
"I know Sonic, I'm worried." He said.
Luz became mad.
"Don't worry Dijal, Belos will have to deal with me." She said. "I've battled him and survived."
Dijal scoffed.
"Yeah right." He said.
"Actually it's true." said a voice.
The group saw Amity walking towards the group.
"Amity, what're you doing here?" said Luz.
"This guy used me to get to Eda." said Amity, "After he left, I figured he was either a bounty hunter, or someone who has history with Eda."
"History." said Eda.
King shook his head.
"I kind of figured it was Amity he got to spill the beans about Eda's location. If he had tried to get Willow or Gus to talk, they wouldn't have said a thing because of their bond with Luz, even if a truth spell were used." said King.
With Willow and Gus they were walking and stopped.
"I don't know why Willow but I think we should beat King up." said Gus.
Willow nodded.
"I agree." said Willow.
Back on Earth.
"Also, I managed to fight Belos and won. That was the Fantasy World fic that first introduced Crash Bandicoot." said Sonic.
"I'm still shocked the Co Author wanted me here, the main one I get but the Co Author?" asked Crash.
"But where could the gems have ended up?" said Randy.
"I don't know, I wouldn't be able to track their energy readings down so easily since they went missing 15 years ago. We'd need someone with enough smarts who can do lots of cross referencing in such a short amount of time." said Tails.
Sonic did some thinking.
"Good thing we know someone who can do just that." said Sonic.
Later; the group appeared in the Bounty Cave and told Meek who was doing some repair work on Jenny Wakeman about the golden scythe and the nine covens gems.
"So, you want me to try to figure out the location of eighteen gems that have the powers of all nine covens from the Boiling Isles which have been gone for fifteen years just to defeat a beast that'll return very soon?" said Meek.
The group nodded.
"That's pretty much the jist of it strange creature." said Dijal.
"I would, but I'm very busy right now." said Meek.
"Yeah, I crashed in Toon City again and wound up needing repairs." said Jenny.
"Why do you keep crash landing in Toon City Jenny?" said Randy.
Jenny looked at Randy.
"I keep getting shot down all the time." said Jenny.
Randy shook his head.
"Damn military." said Randy.
Dijal placed the golden scythe down on a table.
"I am in a hurry, I need to get the gems back on this weapon before the beast that can be defeated by this thing returns." said Dijal.
"Wow that's oddly specific." said Jenny.
Everyone looked at the robot.
"Really, your meerkat friend just mentioned the beast a little while ago." said Crash, "Besides, that was nowhere near specific."
Jenny looked at the bandicoot and became confused.
"I'm sorry, who are you?" said Jenny.
Crash smiled.
"Crash Bandacoot, new resident of the manor." said Crash.
Meek walked over to the table the scythe was on and pushed a button on a device before it scanned the weapons blade.
"I've got video games that are successful." said Crash.
A map appeared on the computer screen and nine dots appeared on it.
This shocked everyone.
"What is this?" said Dijal.
"I have found out where each of the coven gems are located." said Meek.
This caused Dijal to smile.
"Finally, now I can get the gems and return the golden scythe to it's glory." said Dijal.
"The gems of the Construction Coven are on Wumpa Island." said Meek.
Crash did some thinking.
"Wumpa Island, that's where I live. But if they're there, then it could mean that Doctor Neo Cortex has them." said Crash.
He shivered in fear.
"Ain't going back to his lab again." said Crash.
Daija looked at Crash.
"Why wouldn't you want to return to a lab you were created in?" said Dijal.
"I've been through a lot of stuff in that place." said Crash.
A bunch of machine gun firing and screaming was heard.
"Uh oh, Vietnam flashback." said Sonic.
"I was just a regular bandicoot at the time, but then I was mutated by Cortex's lab assistant N. Brio's evolve-o-ray, put through hours of excruciating hell of training to be the general of Cortex's army. All that time, forced to be a mindless slave before I was freed by sheer luck. It would have been a lot worse if the device I was going to be exposed to had the working component that I didn't accidentally destroy at the last minute." said Crash.
Everyone became shocked.
But Crash chuckled as the sounds stopped.
"But it was all worth it, I grew very close to a female bandicoot named Tawna during my imprisonment." Crash said before sighing, "But then I lost touch with her over the years."
"Wow, brutal." said Jenny.
Crash nodded.
"You have no idea." said Crash.
"And there are other gems in countries all over the world." said Meek.
Dijal groaned.
"Of course." said Dijal.
"But if we're to get these gems in such a short time, we'll have to split up to get them back." said Meek.
Everyone looked at Meek.
"It's the only other choice we've got." said Meek.
He cleared his throat.
"Alright, Crash and Luz will pair up and go for the construction coven gems, Amity and Randy will pair up, Sonic and Tails with each other, Eda and Dijal are teaming up." said Meek.
Amity is mad.
"HEY I WANT TO BE WITH LUZ!" She shouted.
"AND I DONT WANT THIS WOTCH TO BE WITH ME!" screamed Dijal.
Meek shook his head and pulled out a blunder buss before firing it in the air, shutting everyone up.
"NEXT ONE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT PAIRINGS WILL HAVE THEIR HEADS BLOWN OFF!" yelled Meek.
Interview Gag
Dijal gulped.
"I just wet myself at that moment." said Dijal.
End Interview Gag
"Besides, can anyone think of one good reason why Luz and Amity shouldn't team up?" said Meek.
Everyone minus Luz and Amity raised their hands.
"Any reason that doesn't involve Amity's love life?" said Meek.
Everyone quickly put their hands down.
Luz became confused and turned to Amity.
"What's your love life like?" said Luz.
Amity blushed and Dijal looked at everyone.
"Is she serious?" He asked.
"Nope, she's a bigger idiot then me." said Crash.
"Indeed I am." said Luz.
But she did a double take and became mad.
"Hey." said Luz.
"What about me?" said King.
"You work with Jenny as soon as I finish her up." said Meek.
King nodded.
"Right." said King.
Meek finished working on the XJ9 unit.
"There, all finished." said Meek.
Jenny smiled.
"Thanks Meek." She said.
King hopped on Jenny.
"Ok Jenny let's go." He said.
"So where should we each look?" said Sonic.
Meek looked at the computer.
"The healing gems are on Smash Island." said Meek.
Sonic chuckled.
"Dibs, I know people who go there." said Sonic.
"Eda and Dijal You two will take Smash Island." said Meek.
Eda became confused.
"Wait, after what the hedgehog just-"Eda said before being interrupted by Meek.
"Just tell anyone you encounter there that you're friends with Sonic and there won't be any trouble." said Meek.
"That's actually worked." said Sonic.
Eda nodded.
"We will try." She said.
"Also don't kill each other." said Luz.
"Amity and Randy in Africa, Sonic and Tails Austrailia, Jenny and King are in Asia." said Meek.
King nodded.
"Thank god it's not Korea." said King.
"The gems of abomination are in Korea." said Meek.
King gulped.
"Shit." said King.
"Don't worry, if the abomination magic gem is in South Korea, you'll be fine. Unless it's in North Korea where they don't take to kindly to American's, but what're the odds of that happening, am I right?" said Crash.
"It's in North Korea." Meek.
The bandicoot then gave King a gravestone that said 'Here lies King, the most cutest yet ugliest Cubone ever seen'.
King gulped.
He then noticed the Cubone part and became mad.
"I AM NOT A CUBONE!" yelled King.
