The WHiDAAA Cast reacts to Echidnut
A door could be heard opening, with The Warden talking to whom everyone presumed was Satella, The Witch of Envy. The very thought of her name was enough for some of the less mentally fortified to summon a small trashcan.
Warden: Oi, Stella, it's pretty hard maintaining the Electro-Psion and Mana-Matter balance and conversions just to make sure these guys don't explode, not to mention stabilizing local-space to support this pocket dimension, hell, even maintaining the theater, the extra rooms, and the atmosphere. So I'd appreciate it if you'll ease up for a bit, because I got you, some of the other Witches and the Warlock, some dragons, and even Flugel strapped with his AniWhore trying to get in.
Satella spoke back in protest, but the soft caring voice she had once possessed was now replaced by a much darker, distorted, and echoing voice.

Everyone suddenly felt the mental barrage and nauseating effects of being within the presence of The Witch, too busy to acknowledge the other names The Warden had mentioned. Excluding Roswall, who, to everyone's surprise, is sitting with his back against the left wall, holding his phone, which seemed to be connected by thin a white cord leading into the wall.
The Warden acknowledged her sudden shift of tone with a sigh of disappointment and annoyance.
Warden: Fan-Fucking-Tastic, now Envy is out. Keep out for a bit, and I'll do as much as I can to wake up Subaru.
Unbeknownst to The Cast, The Witch of Envy weakened her aura of miasma, sat down, turned on her phone, and saw a Live Feed of a sleeping Subaru in the Theater.
Warden: Sorry guys, The Bitch of E-, no, no, no, get the hell out of here you wannabe white goth.
?: It is a right of mine, to peacefully investigate a strange area. It is merely the curiosity of corporeal beings like us. Not to mention, the Scent and presence of my brothers and sisters convinced me to be here, just to let them bathe in my presence. YOU, Sir, have become hostile for no reason, other than the fact I merely wandered into here to, as the youth of today say, "Check out the place." I have done absolutely nothing to violate anyone's rights, my own inclu-.
The Witch looked up at the pale man with white hair and golden eyes, dressed in a white overcoat with gold buttons down the middle, and a gold high neck collar with evenly spaced black stripes. This thing had the audacity, stupidity, or bravado to try and separate her from her Love, and she wasn't taking to kindly that it spoke out of turn in HER presence. With a small turn of her head, she uttered, "Out," before casting Al Shamak.
Warden: Now that The Smug Edge lord is gone, I can go back to-
?: This is interesting, there's a new place I've never seen before, and did someone use Yin magi- oh, it's her.
Warden: What is it Edna, what do you wa-, never mind, I already know the answer to that. You got 2 choices here: Grab a phone and sit down somewhere or leave.
Echidna: First, my name is Echidna, known to some as The Witch of Greed. Secondly, why are they here? Third, yes, I would like to sit down inside with whatever you just said. I am just a tender young maiden after all, I wouldn't be able to resist or protect myself if a strong ruffian were to advance on me. I would rather be sitting down, enjoying a nice cup of tea, while learning more about my good acquaintance Subaru Natsuki and this unique environment.
The Warden, already out of anger and annoyance at this point, simply said, "Emilia is in there because I let her in, and Satella is here because Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." He gave a sigh of relief, opened a portal, and chauffeured Echidna, before sarcastically saying, "After you mon amie."
At first, The Cast was uncomfortable by The Warden talking to The Witch of Envy like she was 2 different people. Then, when the self-righteous man began talking about rights, some quickly recognized him as The Sin Archbishop of Greed, Regulus Corneas. When he stopped talking suddenly, everyone began to sweat like Roswall had cast multiple Al Goas. Then, at the mention of Echidna, The Witch of Greed, being allowed in, The Cast had broken all hell, heaven, and other realms loose as magic and weapons where cast while fortifying their position on standby.
Garfiel got his gauntlets, Frederica began to transform, Beatrice was draining Subaru's mana, Emilia summoned ice and held onto a Morningstar, Rem held onto a fast-asleep Subaru, Ram pulled out her wand, Ricardo got his cleaver, the cat twins readied their mouths, Felt instinctively went for her knife and realized it wasn't there anymore, Al readied earth magic and his Blue Dragon Sword, Priscilla pulled her fan out, Julius began readying his spirits and his sword, and Reinhard drew a glowing Reid.
All while everyone but Priscilla ran behind Reinhard and Julius, putting Petra and Rem in the farthest corner, waiting for the disaster yet to come. Roswall was nowhere to be found. Then, when a bright light came from the rear left side of the theater, a pale, slender woman waltzed in.
She had pale white skin, more so than Roswall, almost like she was made of a porcelain, a somewhat tight black dress that showcased, particular features, black dress leggings with grey stripes that touched the floor, bright white hair long enough to cover her back, a jade butterfly hairpin on her left, white fuzzy eyebrows and lashes, and intelligent dark hazel eyes with small light brown slits of pupils, staring with obvious malice directed at the Half Elf in the room, and curiosity attracting her towards the sleeping boy in the blue haired maid's arms.
Beatrice: Move one step closer to my contractor and I will be forced to engage, despite you being Mother, in fact.
She readied Al Minya.
Warden: She just wants to see what's going on
Garfiel: So, this bitch is the Witch of Greed? She don't look like all tha' much. But if she's bad, I'll fight for Boss.
He gave her a long cursory glance to size her up, noticed she had, features, like those of Elsa Granheirt.
Warden: She's one of the strongest magic users ever. And eyh, enough fantasizing.
Al: I just everyone to calm down, if she wanted us dead, she would've cast something large. But it looks like we got ourselves a Mexican Standoff.
Warden: Finally, someone with a brain and sense of humor. Maybe if we removed the other arm or a leg, we'd have ourselves a regular Einstein.
Ram: I am only acting accordingly to maintain normalcy and to protect my sister, not out of concern for Barasu.
Warden: Bull
Emilia: I'll protect him this time.
Warden: Go Team Subarilia, or is it Emilaru? The fans think you're the best.
She paid little attention, remembering what he had revealed earlier.
Felt, Petra, and Otto began to summon small trash bins
Warden: Really guys, and of all the times you spend fighting the Cult, Ma-Beasts, and standing near Subaru, you'd think you'd have a tolerance.
Roswall walked out from the hall in the rear right, noticing that everyone was piled into a little corner, facing off against his Teacher. Delighted, he sat down, and began to remove any traces of the escapades he's had on his phone.
Rem was holding onto her Subaru, greedily keeping his head close to her. The smell that the white woman gave off was similar, yet distinctly different than Subaru's, and the intensity had caused her horn to appear out of instinct. She cast an El Huma, despite knowing the woman in front of her was possibly the strongest magic user ever.
Reinhard: Madam, explain yourself before I must resort to more active involvement.
Echidna: I did nothing wrong, and if you think that I'm anyway related to that womanizer, you'd be more logical to fight Volcania in the middle of Lugunica City.
She slowly extended her right fist, pointing it out towards Reinhard, then carefully raised her thumb and extended her index finger. She brought her hand up to eye-level, and simultaneously said "Pew" as she shot a fingertip sized Goa, which hit the middle of the sword's handguard. She smiled contently as the sword stopped glowing, forcing Reinhard to put it back into its ornate scabbard.
Everyone just stared, dumbfounded, worried, that she had just easily forced The Sword Saint to sheath the Dragon Sword, Reid, and they had just lost the "Ace up their sleeve" as Subaru would put it. They put back their weapons, deactivated magic, detransformed, and started walking back to their chairs as they realized it would be suicidal to fight The Witch of Greed.
Echidna: What was the name of that smith? Doesn't really matter that much, because it wasn't the Sword God that blessed it, it was me. The builder knows best how to break, or in this case, damage, their creations.
As everyone was walking back, Echidna shot multiple looks of hate at Emilia, and said, "You disgust me, Witch's Daughter," to which Emila shot back, "Insults like that don't do anything, and you already said that at The Sanctuary,"
Echidna blew off her remark with and changed her attention to the blue haired girl in a maid outfit in the back, picking up Subaru as she got up. Rem felt her hungry, curious gaze fall on her and especially her beloved, held him closer in defense, then immediately felt a different presence observe her in anger.
Echidna: My my, how greedy of the two you, keeping all his being for yourselves. I'm not interested in him, just the knowledge inside him.
Rem held Subaru even closer to herself now as she walked past the Witch, who began to follow her back to her seat.
Echidna: How hypocritical of you, and you all say I'm greedy because I want to learn all there is. I'm merely a student, just like he was before She brought him over. I'm learning about anything I can, just like he is learning how to function in this world.
Everyone in the Emilia Camp, especially Rem and Emilia, offended that she, The Witch of Greed, would compare herself to the sweet, loving boy that's always risking himself, who's died over and over again, slowly losing his sanity with each death, suffering mentally with a damaged perception of time and self-value, suffering physically with self-harm in order to forget the things he's done and seen to himself and others; all for the hope that their current selves can be alive and happy.
Then she has the nerve to sit anywhere near them, much less near Subaru.
The current seating arrangement of the 25 rows of 30 seats is as follows:
Top Row- Crusch Camp occupying seats 5-7, with Frederica supervising Petra in seats 29 and 30
Row 15- Emilia and Felt Camps occupying in various seats, Garfiel in seat 2, Otto in 4, Reinhard in 10, Felt in 11, Ram in 20, Rem with his legs crossed over her's while holding his hand in 22, Emilia with Subaru's head on her lap in 23, Beatrice holding his other hand in 24, Echidna looking greedily at him from 25, Priscilla in 29

In the projection booth sits The Warden, and Satella sitting outside to the left of the door.
The rear left corner is a hallway connected to a portal controlled by The Warden. The rear right corner is a hallway that leads to The Casts' rooms, which are shaped to their will.
Warden: It's fine guys, she doesn't like to fight, or do anything much, besides learn. She's harmless, aside from those she truly hates, which are Satella, Envy, and Hector.
Otto: S-screen-sama, why do you talk like th-th-The Witch of Envy and Satella are 2 different people?
Warden: Because they are. Back some time, like 400-ish years ago, for whatever reason, Satella started to destroy the world, which you all call the Great Calamity. She killed some of the other Witches, Echidna being one of them, absorbing 1 of their Witch Factors, which manifested as the Authority you all know and love, Sloth, The Unseen Hand. Then, for whatever reason, she was incompatible with the Sin of Sloth, causing her to develop a 2nd, much darker, personality, probably to offset the power or damage, and this split personality was later given Satella's title of The Witch of Envy. And judging by their mutual obsession with Subaru, his ability might be the Authority of Envy, because you too would be jealous of someone if they could fix their mistakes in order to make the best outcome.
Everyone but Priscilla remembered that Subaru and Rem had first-hand experience with the power of The Authority of Sloth. In a failed loop, where Betelgeuse tortured Rem in front of Subaru by using his Unseen Hands.
It sort of made sense that Return By Death was the Authority of Envy. It would explain why Subaru has random outbursts of pain, which in reality, was time being stopped, with only Subaru being able to perceive what happened, his heart and anyone else's being caressed or crushed by The Witch, the latter of which happened to a failed loop's Emilia, and his density of The Witch's Scent being increased with each attempted declaration of his ability. She didn't want him to share her "love" with anyone else and will do everything to keep him quiet about it.
Warden: Hector is the Warlock of Melancholy, the sin of unwarranted depression. Before Echidna died, she established The Sanctuary as a safe zone that Hector couldn't enter. After she died, he disappeared, with little evidence remaining that he had even existed.
Anastasia: So, The Witch of Envy is the title for Satella, an' the name of her other personality?
Warden: Yes. Hey Echidna, you might not care, but Roswall and Regulas aren't you biggest followers or disciples.
Roswall was clearly enraged at the fact that he, who has been with Echidna and followed her all his life, isn't her best student or disciple.
Beatrice looked up and away from her contractor in confusion at the sound that she wasn't the most dedicated to Mother, that there was someone else other than her, Ros, and Lewes, that followed her.
Warden: Yes, Beako, Roswall, there is someone other than Flugel and you that is involved with Echidna. But they aren't from this pseudo-verse.
Everyone but a curious Echidna realized what he had meant after saying 'pseudo-verse'
Julius: So, someone from beyond the Great Waterfall, or the 'Real World' that you were talking about?
Warden: Yes. He is the Great and Wise, the Grandiose and Ecstatic. The one, the only, Echidnut.
Echidna: Why would you say my name incorrectly? My name ends with an "N" and "A".
Waden: I know what I said, "E-C-H-I-D-N-U-T", it's a play on words in 2 different languages. In Subaru's world, they have a bunch of languages, like here. In his world, there are 2 languages in particular, English and Japanese. To Subaru's perspective, you all are speaking Japanese, his native tongue. To the rest of you, he's speaking Lugunican or whatever your standard language is, with the Kararagian dialect, which was strange because if he were Kararagian, he would at least know about things in Lugunica like the culture and written language. That dialect comes from a specific area of his home country of Japan by courtesy of The Great Sage Flugel, who's also from Japan, and in case you didn't know, Al is from Japan.
Everyone but Priscilla looks at Al in surprise and understanding. Why he and Subaru got along so well, why they understood each other's strange words and sayings, which Ram had appropriately dubbed, Subarese.
Warden: I've set the rules in this dimension, so we are all speaking English for my sake, and it sounds the exact same as your native language. Back to the explaining, Echidna is the English pronunciation and spelling of her name, but in Japanese, which operates with a different set of characters and speaking patterns, her name is spelled and pronounced E-K-I-D-O-N-A or E-K-I-D-O-N-O. The name of this other person with a similar name made a joke out of it with his symbol. Let me just pull it up.
The screen turns back on, showing a picture of Echidna happily biting into a thick, circular piece of bread with a layer of purple frosting on top.
Echidna: Well, this new, I've never seen bread like that. The last time I happily smiled like that was when the boy drank my special blend of tea, and I prefer to eat small cookies instead of slices of bread, crumbs still get everywhere even in a dream realm.
Al looked at her, his face hidden behind his helmet, but it was immediately clear to everyone what he was thinking; "He drank the fuck you say?"
Warden: Dammit Echidna, they aren't supposed to know that yet.
'Yet?' Everyone thought.
Warden: In Season 2 of the show that you're all a part of, the Emilia, Crusch, and Anastasia Camps under Subaru and Rem finish off the White Whale and The Sin Archbishop of Sloth, Betelgeuse. Then go to The Sanct-
Echidna noticed how everyone reacted to The Warden mentioning 'Season 2' and 'Show', and quickly interrupted with a question out of her greed.
Echidna: Would someone explain what he means by 'Show' and 'Season 2"?
Warden: Someone give her the rundown.
Emilia shot a worried look at Rem, who then looked down at Subaru, then back up to Ram, who glared at Otto, then Garfiel, then finally Beatrice, who spoke up.
Beatrice: This "Warden" entity has revealed to us that we are simply constructs, or rather, characters in a fictional story in fact. It is a novel serie, a colored presentation called a 'show', and a black, white, and grey picture book series. This fictional story, named Re: Starting Life in Another World from Zero, or simply put, Re:Zero, was made by someone in another world, presumably from the real world, which is similar too, but not Subaru's home. And due to this supposed multiverse, we are only 6-7 years old due to another timeline or universe being created to accommodate our existence. This "story" is about how my contractor, whom all of you know as Subaru Natsuki, was removed from his home seemingly at random, I suppose. He was then transported to our world, with absolutely no knowledge of our customs, magic, history, or even writing. He then embarked on a way to survive in a new environment from zero and learns that he cannot *voice breaks* die permanently. He simply wakes up at seemingly random points in time, and this ability of his, which he has dubbed-
Beatrice begins to fall silent, as time slows to a stop, the world turns grey. She heard, no, felt a voice. She couldn't breathe, she couldn't move normally, she felt her body tense up more than she had when Ros had been attacked by Hector. Unseen Hands touching her source, but as she turned around to see if anyone was aware. Everyone, but Mother, and possibly The Warden, knew of the realized what had happened. She waited for The Witch to kill her and those around her. Second by second, slowly breathing, failing to calm her body which had tightened by instinct. She knew what The Witch's punishment was for those that talked about her "love" for the boy, the source of his suffering, the reason he sees himself as disposable, the reason he hates himself. His space-time breaking power, his temporal tampering, the repeating reason, his sickening ability-
Satella, or rather, Envy's voice spoke, "Í̶͜͝ ̶͗̇̍́̎͜ŵ̶̰̇̓͆ị̸̱͕̘̂͒̍̓̄͛̉l̸̪̞͖͐̂̇̆̓̑̊̅͜l̸͔̭̺̈́̄̑ ̵̨̛͇̹̼̯̹͓̏̊̅̃͝a̴̧͓̬̬̚l̵̥̬̞͖̙̮͕͌͊̓͋́̕͜l̵̘͙̎̈́̀̐̕͝o̴̢̬͊̀̏̍̉̿̚w̸͙̲̦͂̇͝ ̸̛͚̓t̷̞̿̅̈́̒͘ḫ̷̛͝i̶̓̈̾̔͛̿́̄s̴̜̹͈̘̦̍͒͗̔̚͝."
Beatrice returned to her senses, the world regaining its color after blinking, her cold sweat gone, her breathing returning to normal.
Beatrice: Return By Death.
Those 3 words brought back memories that would best be left alone, but Echidna smiled in delight, with the prospect of learning new things and reactions of others as many times as she wants, with no proof that it had happened.
The Warden opened his door, and saw She had reverted back to Satella, still holding onto her phone, watching a Live Feed of her love. "Hey Stella, keep up the good behavior and I'll let you in." She kept her gaze fixed on her phone but emitted an aura of happiness out of her black veil and shroud of miasma.
Warden: Enough reminiscing, let us put our eyes back on the screen so we'll learn about the True Apostle of Greed, The True Archbishop of Greed, the real Follower of Echidna: Echidnut.
The screen turned black, but not blank, as a rhythmic beat akin to metal pans being hit, then slowly, a still-shot of Reinhard smiling in the Royal Capital building came into view.
?: Heyo, this isn't going to be a normal video. It's gonna be more like a podcast, except it isn't live because no one would watch, but basically, I'm here with my friend David, who hasn't seen Re: Zero. David, why haven't you seen Re: Zero?
The scene changes to a moving segment of dark-skinned men in strange attire as a 2nd voice appears. The scene changes agin to an elderly man with blonde hair.
David: I didn't like the way it looked.
?: Be more specific, what-
David: Because the CGI backgrounds really pissed me off.
Petra: What's CGI?
Warden: Let me juuuuust..
Petra felt a tingle in her head and gained what felt like a years' worth of information within the blink of an eye.
Petra: Oh
The scene changes to a brown-haired woman making a face of confusion, then changes to a bald, dark-skinned man with a fuzzy mustache, then to an angled picture of Reinhard with his hand on his sword, surrounded by text. Only Al, Echidna, and Reinhard knew what it read. Reinhard had a look of defeat, realizing that the words around him were only translated thanks to a new Divine Blessing, only to read that a massive list of his Blessings and Protections were on that page.
?: Unforgivable. Alright, but David has seen a lot of anime. I'm basically gonna be telling him about some of Reinhard's abilities.
Reinhard: Sir Warden, I humbly request you end this viewing. This is a breach of National Secrets, and there are some, less trust-worthy, individuals that I would rather not have learn about myself.
Warden: Reinhard, shut it, everyone knows that you're the most powerful in this reality, maybe aside from Satella. It's no big surprise that you have quite a few Blessings and Protections. To quote Subaru from when he barely arrived, "Monster Hunter MY ASS, YOU'RE A MONSTER YOURSELF."
Reinhard remembered when Subaru had said that to him, how he said even he was a little offended by that remark. He still is a little hurt, even if he's asleep.
Warden: In case you guys didn't get the memo, the 1st guy talking is Echidnut.
Echidnut: David, Reinhard could shit on any character from any anime.
The scene changes to a woman surrounded by a crackling blur aura at night, then to a muscular blonde man in a yellow tracksuit like Subaru's. The man was wearing a black shirt, yellow pants, and a heart shape belt buckle. He was grinning as he was falling, surrounded by a translucent yellow aura.
Echidnut: You've seen One Punch Man?
David: Yes
The scene changes to a man in a blue-ish white robe, a look of distraught on his face as a menacing glow of red and black emanated from behind him.
Echidnut: Reinhard could wipe his ass with Saitama's head.
Laughter erupted, mainly from Felt as she was teasingly punching Reinhard's shoulder as he sat there embarrassed. He would never resort to such vulgar activities in any matter.
The scene changes to the moment when Reinhard had arrested Felt, and told Emilia, 'I shall be taking this girl with me'
Echidnut: He could fuck all your waifus, okay?
David: Okay
Al chuckled, stifling a laugh at the fact that Reinhard could do something seemingly obscene, everyone else confused by what Echidnut had meant. Beatice put her hand on his head to read through his memories, and immediately reeled back in disgust and disappointment when she saw what the speaker had meant by "waifus."
Echidnut: He could probably make the 2nd half of Dover real good.
The scene changes to what everyone thought was the White Whale, but upon closer inspection, it was just a massive fish with red eyes, a grey upper half, and rows of jagged teeth.
David: Oh shit
Echidnut: Nah, I'm just playing with you. No, he couldn't do that.
The scene changes to a laughing dark-skinned man with a thin layer of grey hair, an obese laughing man, and then Reinhard with a face full of determination in front of a sparkling orange background, with his shiny head of red hair standing out the most.
Echidnut: But no, if only. Basically, Reinhard is Jesus and by that, I mean he has the Divine Blessing of Water Walking.
The scene changes to a pond side reflection of Rem in her maid uniform, strolling in the evening, with her ankles barely visible.
Ram: Rem, no matter what time of day, you still maintain your elegance and composure.
Rem giggled in slight embarrassment, still holding Subaru's hand, but had noticed Echidna looking at him with, some, strange look in her eyes and she had leaned over her armrest, her torso above Beatrice, who was playing with her downwards spiraling hair, which Subaru had called, 'drill hair.' Both elbows on the rest, her hands on her cheeks, squishing her grinning face slightly as they support her head up.
Beatrice was obviously slightly annoyed, and Rem had become somewhat worried about what this Witch would do to him if she let go.
Echidnut: Which means he can walk on any type of water, including gas form, so he can walk on clouds.
The scene changes to Rem wearing a light blue dress, floating in mid-air, clouds passing around her.
Emilia: Subaru would say something silly like 'RMA'? Rem Major Angel?
Rem, once again embarrassed, that her Hero would call her something as beautiful as one of the servants of the gods.
Felix: So basically, you can fly?
Reinhard, tired and defeatingly: Yes.
Echidnut: 'How's he gonna do that?' You might ask. Well, he has super jumps.
Wilhelm: This is true. Once, I saw him leap from the slums to the Capital Building for an Emergency Summon.
The scene changes to a black, white, and grey drawing of Reinhard jumping towards the moon as his father, Heinkel, is enraged facing left, and his grandfather, Wilhelm, is facing to the right with a look of self-disappointment
Echidnut: He can also move as fast as he wants, and if he's riding a mount like a horse or something, he can make that animal go as fast as he wants them to as well.
The scene changes to a moment during the White Whale Hunt, where Rem was controlling Patrasch while Subaru was looking at Ricardo in attentiveness. Then to a close-up shot of Crusch in armor and sword in hand on her ground dragon, as mages standing behind her waiting for orders.
Echidnut: He can ride any animal like a snake, a mouse, a fish. He can make that fish do anything he wants.
Felt: What?!
David: Okay
The scene changes to a strange bright red fish. Then to a light orange haired woman on her stomach, with the telltale sign of embarrassment, part of her face, from under her eyes and across her nose. She was reading some strange book, with strange letters in large colorful font on the spine, and a random collection of horizontally parallel black lines with small characters on the left side of the book.
Echidnut: He could also cook that fish to perfection cuz I shit you not, he has the Divine Blessing of Frying, Steaming, and Boiling.
The scene changes to a dark-skinned woman with fake blue hair, holding a strange piece of meat. Then to a glass lidded pot with condensation underneath the lid, then to a large container of bailing water with strange yellow sticks inside.
Felt was the first to laugh. The fact that her knight, Reinhard Van Astrea, The Captain of the Royal Knights, The Sword Saint, a "rich boy", could perfectly cook thanks to one of his ever-increasing list of absurd Blessings.
Felt: Hey Rein, why didn't you ever tell me that you could cook?
Ram: I have no doubts that my dear sister is a better cook, but I would like to try some of your dishes, Sir Knight.
Reinhard: The last time I cooked something for a citizen, the entire country nearly went bankrupt because of how many people waited in line to try my food.
Roswall: So that would explain why the villages in my doooooooooomain were empty suddenly. I had just presumed that Ma-Beasts had just eeeeeeeeeaten them all.
Echidna: Young Ros, for what reasons would you speaking mannerisms be similar to a certain, Magic User's.
Roswall froze up, remembering what he had looked at while investigating the so-called 'Cult of Echidna'. He would never be able to look at his Teacher the same way again and would try to limit his time spent talking to her.
Emilia: *pouting face* ROSWALL! Why did you just assume that those poor villagers had just been eaten by Ma-Beasts?
Petra was sitting quietly next to Frederica, blissfully unaware what the others were screaming about, was still on her phone, but no longer watching Toradora. She was no longer on Netflix; she was on a new 'app' according to her newfound knowledge. She was on Crunchyroll, watching a fantasy 'isekai' series called Konosuba, which Frederica allowed her to watch it, assuming that it was for kids, with all the bright colors and quirky characters. Little did she know that her little sister Petra was watching a show about a strange person, one that claims he is an advocate for gender equality, one who, "Has no patience for one who talks about female privilege when it suits them, and then complains about someone not being a man when it's convenient."
The scene changes to a purple hued brown-haired woman biting into a ball of meat.
Echidnut: I'm not making this up. He also has the Blessing of Sodium Knowledge, meaning he will never get salt and sugar mixed up.
The scene changes to an overhead view of 2 bowls, one of salt and the other, sugar cubes, and a glimpse of a man sprinkling one of the two.
The scene changes to a tired looking man in a formal suit, a small mountain of strange white powder in front of him.
Echidna: That would be useful for Minerva, she makes disgusting cookies and tea. And they say I'm taste-less just because of my tea. It sometimes does get lonely at The Witches Tea Party. The 6 of us gather around, talk about what we've been doing, what we're planning, and we recently started hoping that Natsuki would show up more sometimes. Then Satella just has to barge in without letting us know she wanted to attend, the nerve of some people.
Everyone but Priscilla, Emilia, and Roswall were fazed at the fact that Echidna mentioned that there were other Witches besides her and Satella. Emilia saw The Witch of Vanity, Pandora, as a child in the Elior Forest, and the other Witches when they invited her to a Tea Party while undergoing a trial in The Sanctuary; Roswall had 1st hand experience what Hector, the Warlock of Melancholy, was capable of; and Priscilla didn't care, because a goddess like her had no reason to worry about trivial things such as other Witches.
David: That's okay. That's really handy.
The scene changes to a picture of Reinhard in the Capitol Building's main room, where Reinhard is talking towards someone while angling himself to the right of the camera.
Echidnut: Reinhard also has the Blessing of Poison Immunity so he could chug poison and he'll be fine.
Reinhard: That comes into use when helping the Royals check for poison, because even if I'm immune, my Blessings will tell me if something had been poisoned or contaminated by unclean hands.
The scene changes to an outdoor shot, where a short bald man and a young adult man wearing a black mask with matching robes are sitting across from each other with a table of goblets and alcohol bottles. Then to a man in pure white butler attire holding an appa.
Echidnut: He has the Blessing of Sickness Immunity, so doctor hate him.
David: Okay
Echidnut: You've seen- You've seen The Seven Deadly Sins, right?
The scene changes to a picture of 8 women arranged into 2 rows of 4. On the top row, a pale woman in all white; what looked like Emilia with red eyes in a dark version of her regular dress; a blonde woman with a ponytail and blue eyes; and a long pink haired, purple eyed woman that looked tired.
On the bottom row, a grey-haired "loli" with 2 blindfolds colored with black on top and purple on the bottom; then another "loli" with neck length pink hair and equally pink eyes, a green scarf that went all around her neck; Echidna; and a final "loli" with bright red eyes, a small white dress, and a green hair with large blue flowers along the top.
No one but Emila, Roswall, and Echidna recognized who any of them were, but still felt their instincts tell them to run away as fast as possible while using whatever defense they can muster.
David: Yes
Echidnut: You know Escanor?
David: Mm-hm
The scene changes to a burly blond man with gentle blue eyes covered in a sun-like aura, pointing at something with his index finger.
Echidnut: So Reinhard's like him. So when the sun's out Reinhard is stronger, except Reinhard also gains power when the sun isn't out.
David: So he's literally god.
The scene changes to Reinhard talking in the freshly destroyed loot-house, then to a blue-haired woman crying.
Felt: WHO DID YOU MAKE CRY!?
She started swinging at him, missing every swing as he lazily dodged.
Petra: Hey, that girl's name was Aqua, she's a goddess in this show that I'm watching, but she's kind of useless.
Everyone looked at The Sword Saint in disbelief that he could be so cold-hearted and cruel enough to make a god cry.
Warden: Wrong universe guys.
Echidnut: Yeah, um, he also gets stronger the more he bleeds, if you could somehow make him bleed.
The scene changes to a black, white, and grey picture of half of Subaru's face off to the side, with Reinhard screaming in pain as part of his chest is sliced open, making him bleed profusely.
Echidnut: He takes 80% less damage from every element. Healing spells cast on him are redirected to other allies.
David: That's a fucking flex if I've ever seen one.
The scene changes to a drawing of Reinhard with a sword ready, but the way the picture was drawn made him look smaller.
The cat twins: He's so cute like that, he almost looks like a like a baby.
Ricardo: He's still lookin' badass.
Echidnut: He literally doesn't need healing
David: So like, 'fuck off, I don't need your heals, take this'
The scene changes to another picture with the art style similar, where Reinhard can be seen easily tugging a rope, causing 3 men in identical dark green uniforms, a brown-haired man with an over robe like Otto's, and a blonde woman to become tied up while looking like she's having her best day ever; to go flying. A metallic blue being with 3 eyes on the left side of his head, 2 right arms extended towards the rope, is barely visible at the bottom, possibly on his knees.
Garfiel: Damn, he's strong. Oi, Rein, I'd like to have a lil' spar with ya' later. Reinhard gladly accepted non-verbally with one of Subaru's strange hand gestures, the one with his fist extended with the thumb upwards.
Echidnut: Yeah, he also has the Blessing of Unarmed Mastery. So he doesn't need a weapon because he's just as powerful with his bare hands.
The scene changes to a large stocky man with a well-groomed beard, tossing a sword off the side of a boat. The scene changes to a sight familiar to Felt, where he caught her foot after her failed attempt to kick his face.
Echidnut: So, if he does want a weapon, he has the Blessing of Item Mastery. Wich means that anything he's holding becomes, like, deadlier than a sword.
David: So, a fish?
The scene changes to a skeleton holding a fish large enough to cover his rib cage then back to the caught kick.
David: So, he can use anything as a weapon?
Echidnut: Yeah, he's also The Sword Saint, meaning he's automatically the best swordsman in the whole kingdom and he gets access to the legendary Dragon Sword of Reid. Which is on his hip right now in a sheath, but he can't take it out unless he's faced with a worthy opponent.
The scene changes to when he was fighting The Bowel Hunter back at the loot-house; he was charging up a sword with mana, unleashing a blinding strike of destruction. A new picture of an unfamiliar woman, with bright red hair like his, being handed a sword in the Capitol Building's main room.
Wilhelm couldn't believe his eyes. She was as beautiful as the day he lost her to the Whale, now rightfully avenged with its death. It was Therisa Van Astrea, his wife, Reinhard's grandmother.
Garfiel: Hey Rein. You go the Blessin' of Sex Swap or somethin'?
Felix: Even a dumb brute of a boy like you should be able to recognize the previous major Sword Saint.
Echidna: If she had been a little more open, I would've considered inviting her to a Tea Party. But the best I had was Reid. That pesky pervert, trying to grope Sekhmet, Daphne, and I every time he broke through. Forcing all 7 of us out from our dream-realm so he could try to show off his latest monster kill.
The Sword Saint and Demon couldn't believe what The Witch of Greed had said in such a sour tone. The 1st Sword Saint, Reid Van Astrea, the noblest and elegant of any knight, rumored to have had his soul trapped in the Dragon Sword to continue his service to the Kingdom of Lugunica long after his death; was a perverted old man with a fancy title and sword that lusted and bragged to the Witches.
Aside from them, Garfiel was struck the hardest. He had dedicated his childhood to learning the fighting style of Reid, with countless healed over broken bones and scars from practicing to prove it. He spent nearly 9 years learning how to fight like a crotchety perverted man.
The scene changes to Subaru meeting a newly ascended Dragon Priestess Felt, with Reinhard walking him towards her.
David: Jeez
Echidnut: Yeah, he is literally flexing on everyone. Also, any projectile he uses automatically hits his target and any projectile his opponent uses automatically misses.
The scene changes to his fight with Elsa, where he throws back one a kukri at her, only for her to dodge and start running wildly around him. Another change shows Felt revealing her plan if she were to become Queen.
David: Okay, so in a situation where he's grouped on, right?
Echidnut: Yeah
David: That group can literally never lose?
Echidnut: Well, the group can because they can get hit by shit. But Reinhard himself, he can't.
David: Yeah, but like, he can carry that group to victory?
Echidnut: Yeah, for sure. Um, the 1st attack against Reinhard always misses no matter what. The 2nd one does too. And so does every attack after the 2nd one. I swear to god, I'm not making this up dude.
The scene changes to the fight with the Bowel Hunter, when she was moving at inhuman speeds, striking and failing to hit Reinhard, who was dodging and blocking all her attacks.
David: It-It sounds like they were just out of ideas. So, they're like, 'Let's just make a character who has every ability.'
Echidnut: I mean, dude, he has the Blessing of Sodium Knowledge. Yeah. Reinhard can also read minds and wish for any Divine Blessing he wants.
David: So he literally has anything he ever wants?
The scene changes to the wall of text surrounding him.
Echidnut: I mean, there's not a Divine Blessing for everything, but there's a lot of them, and yeah, pretty much.
David: Basically, with that power he has every single power he could ever need.
Echidnut: The last one I'm gonna talk about is his Blessing of the Phoenix, which allows him to resurrect once if he dies somehow. But after that, it goes away.
The scene changes to the picture of him bleeding from his chest.
Felt: Pffft. Like he would get hurt a whole lot, much less die. I can barely see him getting hurt, but I could never imagine a world where he's dead. Unless The Witch of Envy and The OD fight him together.
Satella let off a wave of warning, causing everyone to feel dizzy. Echidna letting out a small laugh.
David: But he's never gonna need it.
The scene changes to 2 portraits, one of Regulas with his eyes glowing red, and the other, Reinhard, who looked like he was about to get a little more serious.
Echidnut: Keep in mind, he can also just wish to have it back right after he spawns. If you thought something was impossible, Reinhard could do it.
Various of scene changes, all having Reinhard carrying around Felt, who was trying to get away.
David: Well, so going back to him walking on water, can he walk on the water vapor in the air?
Echidnut: I'm sure he can, but that hasn't been implemented in the web novel yet. But I'm sure he could.
David: If he could walk on water, he could just literally just walk in the air.
Echidnut: Yeah, and here's another scary thought. So, there's another character in Re: Zero whose name is Satella, The Witch of Envy. David saw the 1st episode, so he knows.
David: Yeah, the 1st 15 minutes.
The scene changes to what looked like Emilia in a dark version of her everyday dress, but her face was obscured by a mysterious darkness, leaving only her neck down visible.
Echidnut: The 1st half, he knows who the Witch of Envy is. It's actually up for debate whether or not Reinhard could beat Satella in a fight. Re: Zero experts claim it would end in a draw.
Felix: Wha-
Anastasia: It looks like you have fans on the other side of The Great Waterfall.
Ricardo: Better hope so. But him being able to solo The Witch?
Ram: Those supposed 'fans' of yours are just sick perverts who take enjoyment in seeing us suffer. Sir Warden, is there anything you can do about these insufferable degenerates who would look at us reveal our secrets and privacy?
Warden: No can do. I'm not sure if we have free will or we're just being manipulated down to our last finger twitch by some unseeable and unknown mastermind.
Warden, thinking: Hey author, you think you could tell'em to ease up, it's getting hard answering all of them. I'm trying to not make them have an existential crisis down here.
Why not? What harm could it do. Hey Satella, do your thing or you'll get written out faster than Regulus could mention his wives or rights.
Satella released a massive wave of pure anger, mostly directed at The Sword Saint, and then began speaking to him, "Don't try to separate us. I only love him, and he only loves me, even if he doesn't realize it."
Reinhard couldn't withstand the repercussions of psychic communication, and felt his eyelids burn. It had been a long time since he had felt pain, and his Divine Blessing of Pain Nullification wasn't activating, so he felt what it was like to be near Satella or Miasma so thick it was tangible. He was screaming, darkness shooting out from his eyes, unholy black flames tearing him apart and restructuring him over and over, then it just stopped. He blinked a few times noticing no one gave any attention to his visible anguish and realized that words had been burned into the insides of his eyelids. "Stop". He summoned a small trash-can and began vomiting profusely. "That pain lasted only 1 microsecond" Everyone took their eyes off the screen and saw that the most powerful person they had ever known, was kneeling over, hands on a trashcan, hanging on to life like it was a fine tread. Those able to smell knew what Satella had done. The density of Witch's Scent so strong it almost rivaled Subaru's.
Echidnut: There's not really information about Satella. No one knows what her true powers are. We know a couple but she's pretty mysterious. We don't know much about her yet, but people say Reinhard would probably not be able to defeat her.
David: How?
Echidnut: I don't know, all of his projectile would hit no matter what. So if she has the same power, were every projectile hits but every enemy projectile misses. What happens?
The scene changes to his fight with Elsa, where he stomped the wooden floor to stop her advance.
David: I don't know. Shit.
Echidnut: I guess that's why it would probably be a draw.
David: But what if he didn't have Mastery of the sword thing?
Echidnut: The Sword Saint?
David: Yeah, where you could pick up anything.
The scene changes to the dark Emilia look-alike, sitting in front of an uncountable number of Unseen Hands.
Echidnut: Item Mastery? Satella probably wouldn't fight with a weapon. She uses those Unseen Hands. I don't know if you've seen them. They're basically just invisible hands, she can summon like 2000 of them. She can launch them at like 100 mile per hour.
The scene changes to Subaru in his tracksuit, frozen in a black and blue void, with only a pitch-black hand outlined in a glowing purple aura reaching for him.
David: Does this count as projectiles?
Echidnut: Yes
Both laughing over David: How would she be able to win? How would Reinhard be able to win?
Echidnut: We don't know much about Satella. I know Reinhard can turn off his Blessings because there is an instance in the web novel where he dies from a projectile. But he had to turn that ability off for that to happen.
Everyone's' intense stares of confusion were almost strong enough to break the silence, the only sound being Rem shifting her legs so Subaru's wouldn't fall on the floor.
How could Reinhard die? Everyone knew that about a year ago, Cecilus "Blue Lightning" Segmus had challenged him to a duel and lost within seconds. With Reinhard not even having a speck of dirt fall on his boots. Two legendary warriors, one obviously outmatched, and according to strangers, he would win in a fight against The Witch.
David: Why would he do that?
Echidnut: That's a spoiler, but basically, unless he turns it off voluntarily, nothing can kill him. So maybe Satella would have to take control of his mind somehow? Oh, I forgot to mention, Reinhard's immune to all curses, buffs, and debuffs too. Not that he needs them.
The scene changes to Reinhard casting the swing that destroyed the loot-house.
David: Basically, what you're saying is he can win at anything. And apparently this other girl is super powerful?
The scene changes to the all too familiar sight of one of her Unseen Hands caressing Subaru's heart, reminding him that she is always watching him and those he talks to.
Echidnut: Yeah, Satella's a badass.
The scene changes to a feminine physique enshrouded entirely by darkness, glaring eyes glowing white with hints of purple on the edges.
David: But if you don't know enough about her power, you can almost automatically say that Reinhard's gonna win.
Echidnut: Probably. I mean, the author of Re: Zero said that Reinhard is the most powerful person in the Re: Zero verse.
David: That's never gonna change.
Echidnut: Yeah, that's pretty much it. Reinhard has a lot more Blessings and Powers, but it would take forever to list them, and it takes forever for the writer to write them.
The scene changes to the Joint Camp Operation to damage the Witch Cult, when Subaru was inspecting a wagon while Felix was running himself on his back.
Warden: What the hell, you cat. I know that you already have no balls, but there's no reason to stick it to him.
The cat twins were failing to hold in their laughter, Felix failing to hid his ashamed face as the memory came back to him.

Echidna: Roswall, why is it that a stranger in another world has provided me more information than you have? I know that you've been trying to bring back my body, but have the decency to prepare material for my return.
The scene changes one last time to a picture of Echidna's face, smiling when she first let Subaru into her Tea Party.
Emilia: Echidna, what did you to him? That strange word is making me uncomfortable.
Echidna: Once at a Tea Party, I offered him a contract. He would be able to use my body and knowledge any way he saw fit in order to reach the perfect result. And in turn, I would use his ability to satisfy my thirst for knowledge. That poor boy never got the chance to answer for himself because Minerva had to get in the way.
Rem and Emilia couldn't believe what those terms implied. He has suffered more than enough by what they saw in Season 1. No one should have to die horribly more than once. He would've had to needlessly die over and over again because she let her greed for information get the better of her. They began choking on tears and sobs, Ram joined in; even her stone heart didn't want Barasu to suffer endlessly like that. Roswall had become a bit worried at what she said, and unconsciously disgusted but temped at the offer if it meant he would be closer to her.
Warden: Sorry to let you guys know, but this contract did and didn't happen. Remember, every interaction causes a new universe to form, while you here are the timeline you live in. In this universe, Subaru never took the contract. But remember how I said Re: Zero is its own universe? Well, the author has made a number of side stories over the years on Subaru's birthday, which in his world is the 1st day of the 4th month, or April 1st. In these side stories, What If's, better known as IF's, are what would've happened if Subaru choose the path of Sin over Virtue at specific points in time. Theoretically speaking, he is living in the Envy Route for whatever reason. So far, there are IF stories covering the Sins; Vanity, Wrath, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, Lust sort of, and Pride. For example, if he never jumped off the cliff in the loop where Rem died of the Ma-Beast bite, he would've fought Ram, send her into a coma, spiraling down a path of violence, and start the Wrath IF. In this route, he founded the most infamous criminal organization, Pleiades, and recruited some of the most feared and respected soldiers in all this world, including Cecilus and Halibel. He became known only as "The Purge King" because of his sheer brutality, deciding to kill people at the flip of a coin, much like a certain attorney with half a burnt face, with little regard for the consequences.
All but Echidna were shaken to the core at the sound of Subaru given the title of "The Purge King."
Al laughed at the reference The Warden made, appreciating his dark sense of humor.
Warden: Or in the Pride Route, where he was stuck in that 1st loop with the appa guy. He spent 89 tries trying to beat Elsa, because Reinhard never showed up. And after Reinhard did show up on the 90th loop, Subaru became overly obsessed with him being the perfect hero, and he starts turning Emilia into the Queen by some unorthodox means. He joined the Witch Cult and immediately became their Sin Archbishop of Pride and Envy, only to bring it down from the inside, and giving credit to Emilia's Camp, and eventually destroying Reinhard's reputation, turning the entire world against him, in the hopes that they would see Emilia as their savior, the one that stopped the man who had killed thousands of people, commit every crime, and had done things in the shadows, all in the hopes that she would be the only one to ascend.
Emilia worried the most about hearing Subaru becoming a Sin Archbishop just for her sake. He already has proven time and time again that he will do whatever it takes to make sure that she gets what she wants, no matter how many times it takes. Emilia, Rem, and Beatrice began to start choking on sobs and holding onto him tight. They could barely handle him dying more than once, knowing that he was borderline, if not already, mentally unstable. But dying more than 100 million times? They wouldn't want to know what he was like at that point.

Anastasia got out of her seat, attempting to run for her room of infinite possibilities, but didn't even make it past 2 rows when she realized she was being restrained by 2 belts. One was slung from her right shoulder to her left hip, and the other was strewn across her lap. Anastasia began to make a small pouting face, everyone laughing that she was stuck in a chair that looked like it was made for girls around Petra's age. Her mercenaries couldn't help but stifle a laugh because she was trying to act out like the child she is.
The room filled with the chuckles targeting an embarrassed purple haired Kararagian, most unaware she used to be used to embarrassment and defilement worse than this. The laughter eventually died down, and the populated Row 15 quickly realize that Echidna was walking in front of the Merchant's Camp in an attempt to get out.
Echdina: You greedy little girl. From slave to tycoon, backdoor deals and betrayal, illicit transport. You made yourself a name, clearly not as big as hers (making a pointing gesture with her head to the projection booth), but it might be a start if you can live long enough.
Echidna moved her hand off of the Hoshin name user and her fellow beastman, finished "racking" their brains of any information. She then walked back to her seat, with strong looks from everyone in the room. It was easy to figure out what everyone was thinking behind their disappointed and annoyed glares, 'Staaaaaaaare'
Warden: It was harmless, and besides, you guys were gonna learn eventually, and I think Subaru already knew, with all the time he spends near the Witches.
Emilia, Rem, and Beatrice suddenly felt Subaru start to move around, breathing louder with every other exhale. They moved their arms around him, trying to prevent him from falling, and saw that his face was shifting, like he was waking up uncomfortably from a nightmare to sun in his eyes while trying to reluctantly get up.
Echdina: So the boy lives.
Garfiel: Ey, ey. Boss, boss, this ain't funny. Quit the shuffflin' an' get up a'ready. You got all these awsome gals an' the rest of us waitin' for yu'.

You promised you would be by my side, no matter what; that I was your reason to live; you said that you loved me, and thanks to the Warden, I could finally understand. Without you by my side, who else would make a fool of yourself to protect me; who else would want me to love myself for who I am, not what; who else would whole heartedly say "I love you more than anything in this world", even after I did all those things.
