Chapter 1
First Gameplay and Interrogation
Futaba with Controller in hand is ready to play. She turns on the PS5 and inserts the game disc.
Ryuji looks at the box and finds a giant booklet and reads the title.
"Oh man I hate the Futaba right now. Yo Futaba you might need this." Ryuji said as he puts down the booklet down.
Futaba took one look at the Booklet and said.
"Ooo boy." Futaba said as she looked at the sheer size of the booklet.
"Excuse me Chariot but why does the Hermit need this guide?" Lavenza asked.
"Look at the title of the booklet my Strength." Ren said as Lavenza looked at the title of the booklet.
Person 5 Royal guide
"Ah I see my Trickster. Never mind then." Lavenza said as she sat back down.
As the game started up it asked Futaba about the thieves den. Futaba being the most experienced in regards to video games believed that it was related with online stuff. Futaba just picked no since she was pretty sure that there are no Sony servers in their world.
"Oh what's Atlus?" Sojiro said.
"Their either the publisher or developer of the game." Futaba said as the intro played.
Ryuji chuckled as he saw the giant versions of the thieves smashing Tokyo buildings and the like. Sae was surprised that Makoto was driving a motorcycle.
"Makoto please tell you had a license back then." Zenkichi asked.
"I do Zenkichi you should know since I'm the one who drove us around Japan with one exception." Makoto said as she and the rest of the thieves remembers…Haru's S-tier driving skills.
"Um I have a question who's the man in the tan trench coat?" Sophia asked.
This made the pre EMMA thieves silent until Ren broke it.
"You'll learn about him later Sophia." Ren said as they see Sumire's dance number and the raining gemstones.
"You know if that were a real thing you backs would be at minimum bruised as all high hell." Sojiro said.
"So you carried Morgana everywhere also I see Atlus again." Kuon said.
"Got to say the intro was fun." Ann said liking the intro.
"The song was catchy." Sumire said
"Haru don't lie because I know you wanted to say HARU SMASH!" Futaba said making Haru blush.
"Well I'm pretty sure that if you wanted to smash building like as well Futaba." Haru said.
"I know in fact the hammer they showed in the intro I actually have it." Futaba said.
"For real! No seriously do you actually have that hammer." Ryuji said.
"Huh got to ask who's the cat-like mascot?" Sojiro asked.
"You'll find out later Sojiro." Ren said with a grin.
Soon they see the title screen.
"Damn Ren nice entrance." Ryuji said.
"I must say the people who made this game is until now are very good the colors and contrast magnificent." Yusuke said impressed with the art style the game was going for.
Futaba wasted no time in starting a new game. Then it asked her if she wanted to use bonus content due to have Persona 5 save data.
"Huh so my gut feeling was right this is an updated version of the original Persona 5…by the way is there a copy of that game there?" Futaba asked.
"Nope I check and nada Firem must have thought that it was redundant." Ryuji said as Futaba shrugged.
"Anyway I'll pick yes since it might this be useful." Futaba said as she picked yes.
Then the game asked Futaba if she want English or Japanese voice acting.
"Huh this game has English voice acting? Huh kind of cool?" Futaba said as she thought about.
"Ehh I kind of want to see how I sound like in English." Ryuji said.
"Ooo that sounds like fun." Haru said.
"Soon the thieves agrees that they want the English voice acting". So Futaba picks English.
Soon the game starts where Ren and Lavenza hears a familiar voice.
"This story is a work of fiction."
This made everyone in the room chuckle a bit since this was ironic.
"Similarities between characters or events to persons living or dead in your world are purely coincidental"
"Total BS!" Ryuji shouted as Ann jabbed him in the gut.
"Ann as crass as it is Ryuji isn't wrong on that regard." Yusuke said.
Ann rubbed the back of her head.
"Only those who have agreed to the above have the privilege of partaking in this game."

"Like I have a choice." Futaba said as she agreed to this.
"…The Contract has been sealed."
"The world is not as it should be.
It's filled with distortion, and "Ruin" can no longer be avoided."

Now is the time to rise against the abyss of distortion."
Ren gave his Joker grin as he heard Igor's voice giving an explanation about Tricksters.
Now they see an open sea then they see helicopter fly by where they see a giant Casino where a giant neon sign of Justice with a cowboy hat and boots and a scale where one side has the word Win on it and is weighing down the scale.
"Huh a casino I wonder whose Palace is this?" Sae asked as the Pre EMMA thieves became awkwardly silent.
"Hey dad doesn't that neon sign look like that Justice Lady?" Akane asked.
"Hey you're right remove the cowboy hat and boots she looks like Lady Justice." Zenkichi said as Sae thought about and realized that they were right.
"Ren should we tell her?" Makoto asked as Ren nods.
"Yeah you might as well tell her since she was going to know anyway." Ryuji said telling to just bite the bullet.
"Ok Ryuji, sis this is YOUR PALACE." Makoto said as Sae went wide eyed.
"WHAT?! But who, how, why?" Sae said flabbergasted at the realization that this her palace.
Sae knew that she had a Palace but she didn't expect it to be a god damn casino.
"Ooo this music sounds good." Futaba said as she complemented the music.
Indeed Futaba-san. Yusuke said.
They soon sees Ren in his Phantom Thief outfit said outfit consists of a black ankle-length tailcoat, a high-necked waistcoat with gold accents, black pants, brown-black winklepickers and a pair of red gloves. His mask is a black and white, birdlike domino mask. He is also holding a suitcase.
"Wow so cool." Akane said with a blush as she sees Joker in all of his Phantom Thief glory.
She has a crush on Joker and crushing hard and that she knows that Ren and Joker were the same person well...yeah she was now crushing on Ren.
Soon the music changed and the thieves soon see a familiar silhouette but the persona spoke English.
"Good. Now get running!" A boyish voice said.
Hey that's Morgana. Ryuji said.
So that's what I sound like if I spoke English. Morgana said.
Another voice familiar to the thieves then spoke up.
"This is our only chance!" The voice said.
A girlish voice began to speak.
"Stay calm! You can get away now!" The voice said.
"Wait a god damn second that Silhouette is me…so that what I sound like if I spoke English huh cool." Futaba said.
Another silhouette appeared at the screen.
"Hey there's Queen." Ann said.
Makoto smiled at this.
"Wait that's you?" Sae said as Makoto nods.
"Just my silhouette sis." Makoto said with a smile.
"We'll retrieve the briefcase on our end." The other girl voice said.
Soon they hear another transmission. Futaba had now has control over the Joker on screen. After encountered a bunch of agents. Joker had to make another detour.
Soon those agents surrounded Joker and soon became shadows. Joker smirked and performed a backflip and removed its mask.
Which turned into some sort of Bull monster.
"WHOA! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" Sojiro shouted as he sees the monster.
"Oh just one of the shadows I fought during my probation. That's a Moloch if I recall correctly right Lavenza." Ren said as Lavenza checked her compendium and nods.
"Whoa did you fight things like that dad?" Akane asked.
"Hmm I think so but yeah I fought all sorts of monsters like that." Zenkichi said with a grin.
"Oh boy it's an JRPG, no wonder the guide is that big. Sidequests ahoy this will be a long I estimate a good…60 to 100 hours' worth of gameplay." Futaba said well then lets what we can do. Futaba said as she press the triangle button.
"A 100 HOURS?!" Sae shouted as her eyes went wide at that length of gameplay.
Persona! Joker said as he summoned his persona. Where Futaba only have two choices Eigaon or Brave Blade. She knew who this persona was but didn't want to spoil anything. So she picked Eigaon and the Moloch was hit but wasn't done yet. Soon the Moloch used a fire spell known as Agidyne and it hit Ren for 100 HP.
"Oof that hurt but nothing special I'll pick Brave Blade now." Futaba said as she did so which resulted in a crit and the Moloch's defeat.
"Looking good Joker." Morgana said.
"Still got it." Ren said with a smirk.
"Yeah yeah Ren now then let get you out of there." Futaba said.
Soon after going through a couple of rooms and after using his grappling hook. Joker soon finds himself surrounded. Where game Futaba tells him that even he can take on that many shadows.
Soon Sumire appears in her Violet attire and fought the majority of the Shadows leaving only two Ose's and a Jatayu.
"Huh just a bunch of trash mobs. No biggie." Futaba said.
Violet used an attack called Vorpal Blade to hit all of the shadows made critical hits making them fall down where both Joker and Violet tag team them and preform an All-Out attack. Soon Violet disappears and Joker makes a run for it but soon Joker manages to escape but unfortunately Joker gets captured and taken by the police.
"Ugh ho-gasp." Futaba started to say when she sees Ren battered, bruised and drugged.
"What the effing hell!" Ryuji shouted as they splashed Ren with water.
Soon the thieves saw how Ren was treated by the police and they were appalled by it especially Zenkichi who is himself an officer of the law and Sae who was a prosecutor.
"Ren as a Police officer I apologized for what these bastards did." Zenkichi said as Ren waves him off.
"Don't worry about those two last I heard they were working at a Big Bang Burger cleaning the bathrooms." Ren said with a grin.
"Good hopefully we'll have some good officers in the force." Zenkichi said as he looks at Makoto.
"Thanks Zenkichi and I know Ren will do well as a defense lawyer." Makoto said making Ren smile.
"Huh looks like they offer multiple choice for some events. Hmmm I get the feeling that the interrogation will be important for getting the good ending of the game." Futaba said.
"How do you know that there will be bad ending?" Ann asked.
"No clue but as an experienced gamer I've a sixth sense for these kind of things." Futaba said as Ann shrugged.
Soon Futaba sees that the game is asking her which difficulty she wants. The options were. Safe, Easy, Normal, Hard, Merciless.
"Hmmm I'll pick normal I can play Merciless on my own time." Futaba said as she picks the normal difficulty.
The thieves soon see the officers undoing Ren's handcuffs and one of them passing a clipboard telling Ren to sign his name.
"A coerced confession." Sae said as she was disgusted by this.
"Don't worry sis that's in the past." Makoto said as Futaba uses Ren's name.
Soon Sae enters in the interrogation room where she sees Ren.
"…I didn't expect it to be you." Past Sae said as she looks at Ren then at the floor where she finds an empty syringe.
"Those bastards…Can you hear me? It seems you've been through a lot. Almost anything can happen here… and I can't stop them." Past Sae said.
Past Sae soon explains what she wants from Ren and he places his hand on his head where he hears a familiar tune.
(Play Aria of the Soul)
"Oh that sounds nice." Futaba said.
"Indeed it calms me." Sophia said.
"Huh this is a nice tune what do you think Akane?" Zenkichi asked.
Akane nods as Ren remembers that familiar tune.
"It reminds me of home." Lavenza said as Morgana nods.
Ren soon sees a Velvet blue butterfly flying about only to disappear and hears a familiar voice.
"…You are held captive. A prisoner of fate to a future that has been sealed in advanced. This is truly an unjust game… Your chances of winning are almost none."
"Wait that voice is that Lavenza if she was speaking English?" Ann said as Lavenza nods.
Past Lavenza then explains that the only way to win this unjust game is to remember everything that Past Ren did that year ago. Soon the screen fades to white then black.
(End Aria of the Soul)
Then the game askes Futaba if she wants to save.
"Ok guys what do you think?" Futaba asked.
"Well the fact that I am appalled by how they treated Ren but other than that I think it's quite good." Zenkichi said.
"I must admit who ever my English voice actress is not bad very professional." Sae said liking her voice actress.
"I adore how they used Belladonna song." Lavenza said making everyone but Ren confused at this.
"Ah was it song when Ren saw that big ass butterfly?" Ryuji said as Lavenza gave Ryuji a pouting glare.
Ren meanwhile shakes his head.
"Ooo I like the part where Ren took down those monsters." Akane said.
"Especially that duet with Amamiya-san and Yoshizawa-san." Kuon said as Sumire blushed.
"Well I say must see more of this game don't we agreed." Yusuke said as everyone nods.
Soon Futaba saves the game and continues.
