Alright, everyone. Aaliyah and Redd are ready, and they're heading into the many minigames that Fall Guys has in store.
Quick note: I was going to put all the season 1 minigames in this one chapter, but there was so many, and I didn't want it to clutter up a chapter when the other season just added a few more. So I split this one into two parts.
This chapter here is only going to show Aaliyah and Redd's times in the race and survival minigames, while the next chapter will be the team games, and the finals.
Anyways, here are the records I recorded. Enjoy! ;)
Race Minigame 1: Dizzy Heights
Navigate the obstacles and race to the finish line!
The main theme for this level that the two squids saw was a bunch of circular platforms that seem to spin in whatever direction the arrows were pointing at. It also looked like there were cannons later on, too.
Redd and Aaliyah stretch, ready to run with these 58 other jelly beans that were around.
"Ready, Ali?" Redd asked her shy Octoling friend.
"I... I'll do my best." Aaliyah responded.
3... 2... 1... GO!
And so, they're off! Since the rules apply for Redd and Aaliyah, they had no advantage to make themselves go faster, else that would be an immediate disqualification. So they fast-walked along to keep the same speed as these jelly bean creatures.
They would step on the circle platforms, and, as they predicted, it spun around, staying true to the course's name. Redd was having a decent time moving faster with the help of these platforms. Aaliyah did, too, but she felt herself getting too dizzy. The yellow triangle bouncy pads also proved as an obstacle to every bean and sea creature out there.
Finally, after that ride was over, they made it to the cannon parts. The cannons would shoot out huge colorful balls. A bunch of jelly beans ran to another direction to avoid it. While others dove in and put themselves in a ragdoll situation.
Redd tried that dive strategy, and he could feel how hard the balls pressed against him. He grunts, trying to shake it off before moving on. Aaliyah played it safe, yelping as she barely avoids the balls.
"These balls are so big..." Aaliyah said to herself as she continue moving on. Finally, she met up with Redd, and they began to think on what to do for the next part. As they went up the ramp, they saw more spinning platforms up above.
"Welp... here we go again." Redd sighed. He went first, while Aaliyah followed him shortly after. However, Aaliyah yelps as she fell right off. But luckily, there was a path down below with spinning rectangles that had huge holes that she can jump through.
The innocent Octoling ran along as some jelly beans fell, and took the same path with Aaliyah. Redd managed to make it past that set of spinners, and meets up with his Octoling friend again.
Up another ramp, and they saw three large disc platforms that spun. The bottom one spun left, the middle on right, then the top one left again. There was also a cannon shooting big yellow balls at a fast pace to stop racers in their tracks.
Everyone jumps down, with a couple losing their footing, or ragdolling, and began to run and jump across the discs, while also avoiding the big yellow balls that came their way.
Redd helped Aaliyah guide her across, while some jelly beans were pushed back by the balls that aimed right at their direction. They then ran up another slight ramp that had a visually nice hexagon platform set that matched a traffic light. Except it was horizontal, and the yellow hexagon was down more than the green and red one.
Avoiding the balls from this point wasn't a problem. At last, Redd and Aaliyah cross the finish line.
QUALIFIED!
In the result square that the two were in, Aaliyah placed her hand on her forehead. Redd gently rubs her back.
"You feeling okay?" He asked.
"Mm hmm. Just a bit dizzy from all those platforms..." The Octoling answered.
Race Minigame 2: Hit Parade
Navigate the obstacles and race to the finish line!
Everyone would stretch to prepare themselves for the race course about to commence. There were some balance beams, and something down below. Redd shudders, hoping it wasn't an endless pit where they would have to fall down and start over again.
3... 2... 1... GO!
Everyone starts their running. Everyone tried to walka cross the balance beams, but they were more or less bumping into each other as they did so, resulting in most people falling off.
Aaliyah was first to fall, while Redd grunts before he does. On the bright side, they fell into a little slime slide. A bunch of jelly beans made noises as they got up immediately to continue their running. Aaliyah and Redd tagged along, and met up back to the other side where the balance beams led to. This way by falling must be better than they imagined.
As the race continues, everyone began to push along these fan things with four bars. It wasn't that big of a deal, as long as everyone doesn't clutter one spot and stand in each other's way.
When they got out, there was a large gate platform that opens and closes every few seconds. Redd and Aaliyah tried to squeeze through, but a bunch of jelly beans cluttered the gate, causing everyone to bounce back and ragdoll.
Luckily, most people got through after that clutter. Next, they were walking in a path to avoid the giant pendulums that swung across this wide path.
Unfortunately, Aaliyah managed to get hit by one, and fall down to the conveyor where she has to start over from the start of the path.
"Redd, w-wait for me!" Aaliyah called out.
"Hurry, Ali!" Redd exclaimed. Aaliyah did her best to avoid the pendulums. She did get hit by one of them, but fortunately, she didn't get knocked back again. She got up as soon as the hit took place, and continued her sprint.
Lastly, there was a large slime slide that goes up. Ands there were donut pillars moving side to side, each at different speeds. Redd was already half way up with some of those jelly beans.
Aaliyah takes a deep breath, then she runs along. The slime was slowing her down, but then again, it was slowing everyone down. Some of the donut pillars gently squished them against the wall. But one one mattered, and they kept going.
Aaliyah jumps once she was almost there, gets out of the slime, and crosses the finish line.
QUALIFIED!
The innocent Octoling sighed in relief, wiping the sweat off her forehead.
"Hey, good job!" Redd complimented.
"Hee hee, thanks..." Aaliyah giggled.
Race Minigame 3: See Saw
Run and balance across rows of see-saws to reach the finish line!
As the course implies, there are a bunch of large seesaws. Each of them are a different color: either yellow, blue, or purple. There were a couple safe platforms to give everyone some room to take a breather before continuing on the seesaws again.
"I used to love seesaws as a kid..." Aaliyah admitted.
"I liked them. But personally, I like swings and slides better." Redd chimed in. Aaliyah shows a cute smile, while Redd grins back.
3... 2... 1... GO!
And so, everyone begins.
The first row had three large seesaws. One was a little more to the left. It started out nice, until more jelly beans got on to tilt the seesaws even more than it already has been tilting.
But it was the first part, so people easily reached the first safe spot. On on the left, and one on the right. Next row, there were so many more of these seesaws. Lots of people were having a rough time getting past without tilting the seesaw so far back, that the beans start falling.
Redd and Aaliyah fell off twice now. Redd grumbled in annoyance, while Aaliyah looks back down, nervous to go for another run. But yet, they didn't give up.
Finally, after a long while, they reached the last safe spot. Redd and Aaliyah got on two different sides of the seesaw, and continue running. But they were quick to falling thanks to dozens of beans tilting the seesaw, causing everyone on it to fall off.
After several more tries, Redd managed to get farther, while Aaliyah was still trailing behind. They had to be quick if they don't want to be eliminated.
There were also two finish line gates. One on the left, and one on the right. So then all beans can easily get through. Redd manages to finally make it, and cross the right finish line, as that was the seesaw he crossed to make it there.
QUALIFIED!
However, poor Aaliyah was still left behind. She kept on falling off, as she couldn't balance herself through the seesaws to make it past. After several more tries, she manages to make it and run to the finish line.
But by the time she reached the platform...
ELIMINATED!
At the results square, Aaliyah sighed as she looks down.
"I'm sorry, Redd..." She apologized.
"It's okay, Aaliyah. You did your best." Redd cooed as he shows her a comforting smile.
"I'll do better next time.." Aaliyah said with a small smile. Then she fell down the square, as other beans that were eliminated followed shortly after.
Race Minigame 4: Door Dash
Break through doors and race to the finish line - some are real, some are fake!
There were lines of these unique looking doors. They had a nice white and pink striped pattern, but the odd thing about it is the eyeballs on top. The eyeballs are fake, but the point still stands.
"*shudder* The doors look creepy..." Aaliyah winced.
"I don't know why those eyeballs were necessary." Redd stated.
3... 2... 1... GO!
Everyone ran up to try and break through the doors. Redd stopped for a moment, and instructed Aaliyah to wait. They watched what the jelly beans were doing.
And it turns out they were diving to break these door. Some broke and opted a way through for everyone, while some let out a pink smoke cloud, and also played a buzzer sound to indicate that's a fake door.
Redd and Aaliyah look at each other and nod. They went through the door, and were met with another row. They dove through doors to try and find the real one. But that was the easy part. The harder part was every all these beans fitting in to get through, and it was a chaotic mess.
Each row went down in one door, and the amount of real doors decreased as a result. Those in front were the ones who tried to find a real door. If they guess incorrectly, they are punished for the chance to most likely be eliminated.
More rows going down, and after finding the one real door of a row of three, the people closest fell down to a large pit, where all they have to do is run to cross the finish line.
Fortunately, Redd and Aaliyah were in the middle, so they manage to reach the finish line after easily cutting through dozens of other beans.
QUALIFIED!
"Man, that one was pretty easy!" Redd boasted.
"Good thinking with learning what the jelly beans do, Redd." Aaliyah compliments.
"Heh, thanks, Ali!" Redd chuckled.
Race Minigame 5: Gate Crash
Avoid the moving doors and race to the finish line!
Unlike Door Dash those previous times, there were gates they had to avoid this time. There were rows of them to begin with, and some separate paths further down the line.
Aaliyah and Redd look further ahead, ready to prepare themselves for some evasive action.
3... 2... 1... GO!
The running begins, and some gates slowly rise up. They slowly went down too, and took about a second before reappearing somewhere else. The next row had four, appearing one direction, then having the next one rise up as the previous one goes back down. There were even some donut pillars moving side to side.
Redd didn't find this much of a problem, as he is experienced with his reaction time. Aaliyah didn't find it too difficult either, as she just waited. Some jelly beans had trouble passing it, while others were waiting and left behind.
The next row has separate paths with four small gates. They rise and lower down faster than the last row. The far left and far right one don't go down immediately. Rather, they cycle and lower after a few turns from the center left and center right gates.
"I'll go right, you go left!" Redd suggested, immediately running to the right side.
"Okay!" Aaliyah responded. She went to the left side to pass by the gates and donut pillars. Redd got past first, while Aaliyah stayed patient and waited for the right time before moving on.
Finally, the met up back at the center with the last row, where the gates would go through this pattern even faster. This one had only one pillar as well, as the row was smaller than the previous ones. The Inkling and Octoling manage to pass by it with some extra beans joining it.
The last part had three gates waiting at different cycles by the finish line, and they have to get a running start from the slime slide, and jump at the right time.
Aaliyah went first, and jumps to pass through the gate. Redd did that too, but he got too cocky, and bumps right into a gate that was rising up.
"Redd!" Aaliyah cried.
"I'll be fine! Just go ahead and qualify!" Redd called out. Aaliyah nods at Redd's request, and runs up to the finish line.
QUALIFIED!
Redd takes one last attempt. He waits a bit like what Aaliyah did, then when one gate was slowing down, he ran down the slime slide, and jumps past the gate. He even met up with some other beans that were crossing the finish line.
Redd gasped quietly, then he gets up quickly so he can reach the end himself.
QUALIFIED!
"That was a close one." Redd said.
"Patience is a true help for this game.." Aaliyah reminded.
"Indeed it does, Ali." Redd replied.
Race Minigame 6: Tip Toe
Avoid fake tiles and find the hidden paths to reach the finish line!
There were a bunch of tan-ish squares with different patterns. Some shook to mark they are fake, but it is up to everyone's wits and gut feelings to find the right paths to take.
"Ooh boy. This one doesn't sound good..." Redd winced.
"I don't know if I can find the right path straight away." Aaliyah admitted.
3... 2... 1... GO!
Regardless, everyone ran up once the countdown ended. Some beans jump, and found the right path. Others fell and respawned at the starting area. Redd and Aaliyah joined in and ran along the straight real path.
However, they ran too much, and fell off due to a fake square.
"Urgh, so it's not one straight path. Simple enough." Redd groaned. He and Aaliyah continued their sprint back to where they once were. It was a LARGE grid, so finding the right path seemed almost impossible.
Some beans were nervous to fall off, so they began pushing each other around to find out if a tile is real or fake. Some were bold to try it themselves. And some got punished when they found out it was fake when too late.
"E-Excuse me, jelly bean thingys...? Why are you all pushing each other...?" Aaliyah asked kindly. They didn't listen. They continue making noises to find a right path.
"This way!" Redd told them. Eventually, after a while, they found a straight path to get to the finish line. The red Inkling and the innocent Octoling began to make one last jump to qualify...
...only for them to whiff completely and fall down. They tried to run back when they respawned, but it was too late, as the qualifying members was going up by the second.
ELIMINATED!
"That game was honestly pretty stupid..." Redd groaned.
"I didn't like it.." Aaliyah said with a slightly annoyed look. She and Redd would fall off the square with the other jelly beans that got eliminated.
Race Minigame 7: The Whirlygig
Navigate the obstacles and race to the finish line!
There were a bunch of pink, thick fans to mark the theme of this course. They were scattered all over the place, and it honestly looked... very fun and colorful.
"Ooh, I like this place. It's colorful." Aaliyah said cutely.
"True, but let's find out how this minigame is going to fare for us." Redd stated.
3... 2... 1... GO!
Everyone began running to make it past the dreaded Whirlygig. There was a straight path to begin with, and on the other side, there were circles that had thin beams circling across. There was one on the center, one above it, and two more in between. One is on the left, and one on the right.
Redd and Aaliyah jumped over the beams to avoid it. Sometimes they got hit and were knocked down. But some jelly beans were using that to their advantage, and use the spinning beams as a boost to the next part. Luckily, there were some railings to prevent them from falling off.
Next, there was a small ramp up, with a conveyor in the middle to give them a boost to the large platform above. A large pink fan swirled around a gate leading to the next part of the obstacle course.
Some used that as a boost up, while others used one of the two small bouncy boxes to have an easier time getting up there. Redd and Aaliyah dodge the fan before they would get cluttered by some beans all around the one part back there.
There were some bouncy triangles as there was a lot of room to move around it. And everyone easily got part the fans that covered the way to the next part. It's like those fans aren't even a threat.
Then there was a part similar to the previous one. Except it was a large conveyor as a whole, and a two-bar fan was there instead of four. There were two conveyors on the left and right side in case anyone got knocked by the fans, and have to start over.
It took Redd and Aaliyah a couple tries. But they finally pass it. Now there was a left and right path with circle platforms with spinning beams. And also a conveyor in the center with a fan that was spinning VERY QUICKLY.
Beans that were attempting the center fan got knocked to the right side as a result, or just fell off.
"I'm gonna try the center fan!" Redd shouted, running to it to prove himself.
"I'm just going to take the right route..." Aaliyah said to herself. She played it safe, and jumps over the beams that spun around. It was no big deal for an Octoling like her.
When she got to the center platform, she jumps over the beams, waits for the wider fan to leave an opening, then jumps to the other side.
Meanwhile, Redd dives through the center fan and actually gets through it!
"Ha ha! I did it!" Redd cheered through a laugh. He then runs down, onto the center platform, and meets up with Aaliyah shortly after so they can qualify. There was no other obstacle. Just a ramp up to the finish line.
QUALIFIED!
"I really liked that one." Aaliyah said happily.
"Me too! We gotta do that again sometime." Redd chuckled.
Race Minigame 8: Slime Climb
Outrun the rising slime and survive through obstacles to reach the finish line!
There were a bunch of large ramps and obstacles for the way up on this famous course in the Blunderdome. Aaliyah took a few deep breaths, while Redd did some small stretching exercises to wait it out.
3... 2... 1... GO!
Everyone started running, and even bump into each other constantly. Redd and Aaliyah went up the ramp so they can get through the next path that had some pushing platforms. Some beans used the bouncy triangles from below to boost themselves up rather than just walk up there and play it safe.
It was easy to pass, but it was only about to get harder. On the yellow path further up, a cannon would shoot out huge balls. Lot of beans got bonked by these balls, including Redd and Ali for some time. But the rising slime wasn't too high up, and they had a lot of time to recover.
The next part had small jumps, and spots that had two large push platforms. Redd was pushed off once by them, but he met up with Aaliyah quickly once she waited it out and got lucky on that part.
Next part, there were conveyors going left, and donut pillars moving side to side at different speeds. That wasn't too difficult, but next up was some balance beams that fell to the conveyors they just dealt with. While Redd got far, Aaliyah lost her footing, fell to the conveyors, and were pushed by the pillars.
And fate have it, she fell into the slime when it got higher...
ELIMINATED!
"Aaliyah!" Redd shouted. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"I will avenge you." He squid quietly. But his thoughts were interrupted by jelly beans that were pushing him out of the way. One of them even looks at him with that blank stare.
Regardless, Redd continued his sprint. Next up, there was some slime to slow racers down, and also some small hammers added onto it. This was easy for Redd to navigate, even with the slime to slow him down. And now, there were four push platforms that went pretty fast, but different times and speeds.
Redd almost got hit by one of them, but he manages to catch himself before falling down below, and may cost himself falling into the slime. But luckily, the last part returned with the slime, but had donut pillars with a pendulum instead of hammers.
The red Inkling gets pushed a bit by the pillars, falls once, but gets back up and starts over. He navigates through it easier, then takes that last turn to the right, avoids the last two pendulums, and crosses the finish line that has awaited for him.
QUALIFIED!
"Ooh! Good job, Redd.." Aaliyah complimented with a small smile.
"I guess Slime Climb is rough for anyone." Redd admitted. While Aaliyah got knocked out of the square, a bunch of beans that fell into the slime did, too.
Redd knew that Slime Climb was a hit or miss course where you need luck or skill by your side.
Race Minigame 9: Fruit Chute
Dodge the flying fruit and race up the conveyor belt to reach the finish line!
All the course was is just a large conveyor belt. There were seven cannons behind the finish line, and two floating on hot air balloons on each side, to shoot out what would seem to be these giant fruits. There were no boosts either, so Redd and Aaliyah had to be lucky. The three triangles on the left and right side are the only possible boost they had, but they have to use it right.
"Giant... fruits? Are they real...?" The latter asked.
"I doubt it." Redd assured.
3... 2... 1... GO!
One of the cannons immediately shot out a log that rolls down. Redd and Aaliyah jump down, and a bunch of beans follow along. The conveyor made them super slow, but that was the theme of the course.
The cannons would then start shooting out giant apples, oranges, bananas, and watermelons. Luckily, these aren't real. They're fake. But they bumped quite hard, and already made a bunch of beans fall.
Throughout the course, Aaliyah stayed to the edge and avoids most of the fruit. Redd would get hit by an orange, then a banana, causing him to fall. One cannon would shoot out the rolling log each time, while more cannons shot out giant blueberries and strawberries.
After a long while, Aaliyah gets off the conveyor, and takes a quick little sprint right to the finish line.
QUALIFIED!
Redd would be struggling to pass all these giant fruits. He would be halfway there, then gets knocked over by a strawberry. Then the log hits him when that was shot out.
ELIMINATED!
It was a long while, and a lot of beans passed the finish line by then. Redd sighed as he places his hand on his forehead.
"Let it be known from here on out. Logs are NOT fruit." He said. Aaliyah giggles at that. Redd manages to laugh along with her and show a smile.
"Oh, by the way, here's an interesting fact, Ali," He giggled, "Strawberries aren't technically berries. But bananas are."
"Oh. Really...?" Aaliyah asked, surprised at that.
"Surprisingly, yes." Redd responded. Then he would get knocked off the square with other beans that have been eliminated.
Survival Minigame 1: Jump Club
JUMP over the spinning beam and avoid falling into the slime!
Everyone was on a large circle platform. There was a large pink beam above them, and a skinny green beam by them.
"So, I assume we gotta jump over this green one." Redd remarked.
"But let's just avoid that big pink one..." Aaliyah said quietly.
3... 2... 1... GO!
The beams would start spinning around slowly. But the green one was going faster. Aaliyah and Redd stand in different places to jump over the spinning beam that awaits them. And it was pretty easy, with almost no disruptions.
Some beans took the time to run around the platform as a way to not get crowded by others. Perhaps it should've also been called "Run Club".
The green beam would go faster and faster. Redd was timing his jumps perfectly, but Aaliyah got knocked by the pink one from time to time. Luckily, she wasn't too far back to be falling into the slime.
Unlike some beans, who got caught by the spinning green beam, and slide in a ragdoll mode before falling into the slime.
"I feel bad for those poor beans..." Aaliyah said sadly. But she would keep going to prevent herself from getting eliminated. And Redd was still doing a good job timing his jumps, and moving a big to have some room to not bump his head against the large pink beam.
QUALIFIED!
After some more jelly beans fell into the slime, the rest have qualified, including Aaliyah and Redd.
"Hey, we did it!" He cheered.
"Veemo!" Aaliyah giggles cutely.
Survival Minigame 2: Roll Out
Move between rotating rings to avoid falling into the slime!
Everyone would be standing one of the five large ring platforms. And down below was a big pool of slime. There seems to be more parts of these rings under the slime, but no one wants to risk a horrific act, after all.
"Ali, just stay by me, okay?" Redd requested.
"Okay..." Aaliyah replied.
3... 2... 1... GO!
The rings started to spin around. Everyone would run across them when a bunch of blocks would rise up from one part of the ring that has been unrevealed until now. There were even small and big gaps.
As time passes, the rings spun faster, but not a lot of people have been eliminated. Eventually, Redd was getting the hang of it to help Aaliyah out in balancing through these ring platforms.
Jelly beans started grabbing each other to keep them in place, and cause them to fall into the slime. Aaliyah wasn't a fan of what she was seeing, but it was a game show, after all. It was every last person for themselves.
One of the beans grabbed Redd to keep him in place.
"Hey, let go of me!" He shouted. And once he got out of his grasp, the two would fall into the slime.
ELIMINATED!
Aaliyah let out a quick "Eep" noise as she runs back to the center, and onto another ring. Beans were relying on griefing at this point, so Aaliyah kept her distance. Being alone was one of natural advantages, so she kept herself safe as she navigates through the spinning rings to stay on.
QUALIFIED!
After two more beans fell, the survivors have been qualified. Aaliyah panted as she places her hand over her beating heart.
"Good luck, Aaliyah. The rest is up to you." Redd said as he talks to Aaliyah through his square spot. Aaliyah shows her Inkling friend a thumbs up before he has been knocked off, and into the spectating room.
Survival Minigame 3: Block Party
Avoid the moving walls and don't fall off the platform!
Everyone is standing on a large rectangular platform with two large rainbow handles to keep it up. There were no obstacles yet, but some were about to find out sooner than later.
"Moving walls? Uh oh..." Aaliyah gasped.
"I think we can do this." Redd assured, earning a small smile from Aaliyah.
3... 2... 1... GO!
A couple blocks, squares and rectangles, would appear slowly one by one. Some at different spots, while others followed up. Then there were some wider blocks to force other people to move to the other side in order to avoid it.
It would get harder as time went by, but Redd and Aaliyah were starting to get the hang of it. These jelly beans are used to it at this point. These blocks meant nothing, no matter how far they had to run in order to avoid it.
There were some spots they all had to fight through once in a while, and even a very skinny spot later on that lots of people cluttered through in order to survive. A few beans have already fell, but lots were still in the game. The jumping parts didn't matter at the slightest.
Just when they thought it was over, a big pile of blocks formed as a wall to make less room for everyone to move around.
"Oh carp!" Redd yelped. Some blocks appear on the left, right, and center. And with less room, it seemed impossible to avoid it. But for these two, it just became much harder. A couple more beans fell because of this, too.
Finally, the walls end along with the last obstacle. Everything went quiet. Redd, Aaliyah, and the surviving jelly beans look around, waiting to see what obstacle is going to appear for them next.
QUALIFIED!
Turns out it was nothing, and that limited wall was the last challenge.
"Huh. That was... better than I thought..." Aaliyah admitted.
"I thought it was going to be much worse." Redd chimed in, but then shrugs his shoulders.
Survival Minigame 4: Perfect Match
Memorize the icons on the tiles- when an icon is displayed on the screen, move to a matching tile to avoid falling into the slime!
There are 16 tiles in four rows of four tiles each. There are also four large screens that are flying thanks to the propellers to keep them in the sky for everyone to see them.
"Alrighty, looks like I gotta use my brain for this one." Redd giggled.
"This shouldn't be... too hard..." Aaliyah said to herself, a little nervous as she looks at the slime.
3... 2... 1... GO!
The timer on the screen starts from 14. Tiles would show the icon for a second before waiting a couple more seconds before showing another set of tiles for more icons. On this round, there were only tiles that show apples and grapes.
When the timer goes down, it was time for everyone to guess, and the icon to appear.
...
...
Apple.
Everyone runs to the apple tile that they remember. Redd and Aaliyah were on different spots from what they remember in terms of the apple tiles that they were spotting. Four seconds pass for everyone to find a tile.
The grape tiles disappear, and those standing on it fell into the slime. Only a couple beans did. Then, all the tiles reappear for round two.
This time, there were more fruits this time. Apples, oranges, grapes, and cherries.
"There's more?" Aaliyah yelps.
"So, the Perfect Match is just fruits." Redd realized. He would then pay attention to the tiles that show the fruits, and then he tries to repeat them off his head to remember where they are. Aaliyah attempted to do the same.
"Grape, orange, apple, cherry... grape, orange, apple, cherry..." Redd mumbled constantly. The timer goes down, and the screen begins to randomly roulette a fruit.
...
...
Grape.
Redd and Aaliyah stay on the same grape tile together. They greet each other and smile, and wait to see which beans fall off. Once again, only a few did, but not too many. Some beans even messed around and grabbed each other for a little dance. Some even emote and show off their moves.
The tiles reappear for the third and final round. And this one had a lot of fruits to remember. Watermelon, orange, apple, banana, grape, and cherry. Aaliyah gulped. She shook a little bit as she saw so many fruit tiles.
"There's too many fruits..." She whined.
"Cherry, grape, apple... orange, watermelon, banana... cherry, grape, apple... orange, watermelon, banana..." Redd muttered to himself. The fourteen seconds end, and the last guess was starting to commence.
...
...
Banana.
Redd walked to the banana tile with other beans. Aaliyah looked around frantically, making a nervous noise as she tried to remember where a banana tile was.
"Hey, Ali! Over here!" Redd yelled as he waves his hand around. Aaliyah notices, and runs over to Redd to join him on the tile.
Luckily, Aaliyah makes it just in time before the incorrect tiles disappear. More beans fell this time, but a lot of them still survived. Mainly because some of them walk to the tile everyone else is on.
All the tiles come back again. Redd and Aaliyah were nervous that there was going to be another round...
QUALIFIED!
But, in fact, they are safe.
"Phew. The amount of fruits was messing around with me..." Aaliyah admitted.
"It really does test your mind." Redd agreed.
Survival Minigame 5: Tail Tag
Some players start with tails, some don't - GRAB a tail and make sure you have one when the timer runs out!
The place was large. There were hammers all around, and also some ramps that led to a large center platform, with a bigger hammer that swung slower than the other ones.
Redd checked around, and noticed he has a tail. A yellow and brown striped, fuzzy tail.
"Hey, Aaliyah! Do you have a tail?" Redd asked from across.
"Uh... n-no..!" Aaliyah said back.
"Okay, I wish you luck to get a tail! You got this!" Redd complimented, showing a thumbs up once he finished speaking.
3... 2... 1... GO!
Redd would begin to run off, keeping his tail intact. Aaliyah ran around to see if she can find other beans that have tails. Eventually, she finds one running, and easily manages to take the tail before running off.
Aaliyah stopped for a moment as she looks behind her in awe, noticing the cute fuzzy tail attached to her butt.
"The tail looks cute..." She said quietly. Another jelly bean notices Aaliyah, and takes the tail once he got close. She tried to run, but at this point, it was too late.
"Hey, w-wait!" Aaliyah yelped as she tried to chase after it. Meanwhile, Redd would try the hammers to his advantage and avoid chasing beans that want his tail so they can qualify.
Apparently, one bean was at least several inches away, and got his tail from a pretty wide range.
"What?!" He shouted. He was confused how the bean managed to do that, but he just gave him and tried to chase after it.
The timer was close to getting down to zero. Redd managed to get a tail back, while Aaliyah was still having trouble getting one. She can't manage to keep up with the sudden turns these jelly beans were pulling on her.
ELIMINATED!
The timer runs out, and Aaliyah hasn't gotten a tail by then.
"Aw... I didn't get a tail... at least it looked cute.." Aaliyah said.
"You can say that again. Redd chuckled. Aaliyah then gets knocked off the square, and Redd looks in front of him, ready to prepare for what the next courses are going to bring him.
A/N: And that was part one. Reminder that the others seasons won't have a two-parter like this one.
Anyways, I hoped you enjoyed it! Next part will be there with this one, so be sure to tune into that! :D
