The hokage was in his office, sitting at his desk waiting for neko to appear with a young blonde he considered his grandson. Sooner than later, Neko appeared with a woman wearing a cloak. Before he could ask about the mysterious woman, the woman bowed her head. "I'm sorry." she said, and released enough ki to knock out all the anbu in the room.

Hiruzen was impressed by rhe k.i of the woman, if he didn't know any better he would say it was borderline kage level. But he couldn't just sit there. "What's the meaning of knocking out my anbu?"

"I did because I need to talk to you in private, Neko is the only one who I'm allowing to hear this." she answered.

"And who are you exactly?" Hiruzen asked, raising his ki, even though it wasn't affecting the girl.

"Heh, I can't believe you don't recognize me, I thought we were closer than that, dattebane." the woman fake pouted, removing her hood from the cloak. Hiruzen gasped, stuttering a bit.

"K-Kushina? But how?" th hokage got up from and hugged his surrogate daughter

with tears in his eyes

"That's right ji-san, how are you and as to how, Minato-kun enough said" Kushina responded, returning the hug. She then went back across to the other side of the desk and sat down. "Before we began, I would like to apologize for the ki my lady unleashed a moment ago."

"Your lady?" the hokage questioned.

"Oh, I'm just a shadow clone, the real me is with sochi and she was pretty upset about how this village treated sochi, even though Minato-kun asked him to be seen as a hero."

Hiruzen signed. "It was my actions that caused this to happen. I told the village about his status as a jinchuuriki and was hoping they would accept him and treat him as the hero he deserved to be but they only see him as the beast itself."

Kushina smiled and shook her head. "I don't blame you jiji, sochi told me how you were the only one who tried to take care of him and I appreciate it. But what I don't understand is why none of the other clan heads tried to help?"

Hiruzen chuckled. "Maybe to the naked eye but the clan was secretly providing for the young lad, The Aburames and Hyugas been providing training scrolls on basic taijutsu skills since neither clan trust the academy to teach him in the future, especially being run by civilians, the Naras been buying him clothes since he'd been kicked out of shops, the Akimichis and Inuzuka was bringing him fresh food and lastly the Yamanakas was buy essentials like soap and other things to take of himself.."

Hearing this made Kushina smile a bit. "And what about the Uchihas and Mebuki-chan?" Kushina asked, wondering about her best friend's involvement with her son.

"Mikoto was the only one there for the boy and Mebuki played the role of the demon hater but she would vote against anything that would bring harm to the boy. While you were gone, Danzo took control of the civilian council and Mebuki is afraid that she would be removed in more ways than one if she would go against him." Kushina caught wind of what he was saying, Danzo could easily get away with anything as long as he hid the clues. "So Kushina, are you going to take your seat on the council and claim the Uzamaki seat, it would help me gain a little influence."

Kushina smiled and shook. "Sorry Jiji but I like to wait until my son is a genin before I retake my seat. I already lost 5 years of my son's life, so I want to be a parent before anything. Plus I'm the last Uzumaki and the only one who could teach him all our clan's technique, it would benefit the village for Naruto learn everything I do. And I also have to train myself, now that I'm alive I can continue my dream to be hokage and right now I'm nowhere as strong as I used to be so I got to train. (AN: Kushina aged in years, but not physically so she has the body of a 22 year old.) so may you keep my return a secret for a while jiji-kun?" Kushina asked, giving the puppy dog face.

Hiruzen smiled and nodded. "Sure, that's the least I can do for Minato and Naruto-kun." Kushina smiled and gave Hiruzen a hug before poofing away. Hiruzen was happy that his surrogate grandson had his mother back. Hopefully things would get better.

Namilze compound-

Kushina and Naruto just arrived at their new home with Naruto in her arms holding onto Kushina. Kushina walked up to the gate and put the blonde down next to her. She then bit her thumb and wiped it on the gate, followed by a few hand signs. When she was done, Her and Naruto started to glow gold. Naruto awe in amazement at what just happened, even though he had no idea what just happened. "That was so cool, how did you make us glow like that, you have to tell me, dattebayo?"

Kushina chuckled at her son's excitement over the sealing, and was glad he took an interest in it because it would make her job so much easier. "That sochi was a sealing technique. Basically what I did was register both of our blood so we're the only ones who could go in the house".

Naruto cocked his head to the side in confusion in a thought, causing Kushina to squeal and embrace her son in a hug, rubbing her cheeks with his. "You're such the cutest thing sochi!"

Naruto started to blush at the complement but quickly ignored it. "Why do we have to keep other people away, kaa-chan?" Kushina stopped her squeals and looked at Naruto.

"Believe or not sochi, there're dangerous people in this village who are...bad, and in this house are your father's and I most powerful techniques and they can't just be shared with anyone, understand?" Kushina explained, Naruto nodded. "And also they are our clan's technique."

Naruto's smile grew wide after hearing her answer. "I'm from a clan?!"

Kushina nodded. "That's right but we'll worry about that later, let's go in and i'll show you around." Kushina took Naruto in and began to show him around the house from the kitchen, the library, living room, training ground, bunker, bathroom and finally there bedrooms. When they entered Naruto's room, Kushina chuckled in embarrassment. In the room was a crib and a dresser. "You see, I am prepared to raise you from a baby, but don't worry. I'll just take the mattress out of the crib."

"Kaa-chan?" Kushina turned to her son and noticed he had a questionable look on his face. He turned to her with a nervous look in his eyes. "Is it ok if..I sleep with you?" Naruto asked.

Kushian was about to ask why, but she remembered about his life until now. He had no one, so she couldn't blame him for not wanting to be alone anymore. "Sure sochi, I don't mind at all." Naruto gave her a warm smile and wrapped his arms around his neck hugging her, which was returned. "But first, it's still your birthday and it's still an early night. So how about we go shopping and I can get you a present."

"Really, I can have a present?" Naruto asked in excitement.

"Of course, and I know exactly where to go but before we go I need to grab something." Kushina went into her room and grabbed a scroll and a cloak before leaving the house with Naruto to Kushina designation.

As they were walking through the village, the villagers were looking at Naruto in shock. Someone was walking hand in hand with the demon child, and some of the villagers were wondering if the poor woman knew what he was. Naruto was getting nervous being the target of their glares and all the whispers around them but it disappeared when Kushina squeezed his hand reassuring him. His gaze met hers and he saw love and concern, a look no one but his jiji and neko gave him. "It's ok sochi, I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere." Naruto smiled and wiped some tears before giving her a nod. But of course their moment was ruined when a random villager approached them

"Excuse ma'am but are you ok?" the villager asked. Kushina (under the cloak) gave the man a confused look, but inside knew what was going on.

"What do you mean?" the red-head asked, putting up a front as Naruto hid behind her leg.

"Well that thing there," the man started pointing at Naruto. "Is a demon that killed so many of our people and nearly destroyed the village." Naruto started to shake in fear. 'Was his kaa-chan going to abandon him too? Was he going to be alone again?' as he was thinking this, he felt a gentle pat on his head, noticing Kushina smiling at him again.

Kushina turned back to the man who expected Kushina to hand Naruto over to them. Kushina put her finger under chin in a thinking position. "He's a demon? He doesn't look like one and how can a boy do all the things you said he did? It doesn't make any sense, dattebane."

The villager looked at the woman, confused. "You obviously heard of how the village was saved by the yondaime?" Kushina nodded. "Well, that's the demon behind your leg. But don't worry, I'll punish the demon for you." The villager reached towards Naruto until Kushina grabbed his wrist, causing him to wince in pain.

"Excuse me, but I would much appreciate it if you kept your hands to yourself before you lose it permanently." Kushina warned, slowly twisting the wrist.

"Why? Why are you protecting that thing?" Kushina twisted his arm

"He is not a thing. He's a little boy who's looking for love." Kushina said, as a crowd gathered around her and Naruto. Naruto started to quiver in fear as the crowd glared at them in disgust. Kushina felt her son shaked a bit, let her motherly instinct take over and release some ki,causing the crowd to back up a bit and some to fall to their knees gasping for air. "Now listen to me, all of you because I'm going to say this once. If any of you touch him, glare at him, or even look at him wrong, I will kill you. It will be painful and the hokage already is aware of this threat." The villagers shook at the coldness in her voice and dispersed. Kushina let go of the villager, giving him one final glare that made him run.

Naruto was amazed and he's chest had a ticklish feeling that he never felt before. He...was happy. Happy that someone protected him, happy that someone loved him, and happy that he had someone to call him kaa-chan. "Kaa-chan?"

Kushina looked at her sochi and picked him up in her arms. "What the matter sochi?" all of a sudden, Naruto wrapped her arms around her neck, hugging the surprised female Uzumaki. "Sochi?"

"I love you kaa-chan," Naruto said, burying his head in the creak of Kushina neck. Kushina felt her skin getting soaked and realized Naruto was crying. She smiled and began to rub up and down his back, tears coming out her eyes as well. "I love you too, Naru-chan." Kushina whispered hugging as she walked to her destination.

Higurashi weapon shop.

A man by the name of Ox Higurashi was sitting at his counter, reading through a catalog until he heard his store door open. He looked up and saw a cloak figure holding a blonde hair little boy he recognized. It was Naruto, unlike the other villagers, he knew the boy wasn't a demon. After all he owned a weapon shop, it would be a blow to his pride if he couldn't tell the difference between a kunai and a scroll. "Welcome to Higurashi weapon shop," Ox said in a friendly manner before narrowing his eyes. "Now who are you and you better be here to buy some weapons to hurt Naruto, because if you are." Ox pulled out a sword. "You better leave."

Kushina chuckled and was happy that one of her old friends worried about her son. "Oh don't worry, I would never hurt Naru-chan." Ox calmed down when he heard the affection from the woman but was confused why she held any for him. Kushina sat Naruto beside her and went through a couple hand signs. Soon a barrier was set up around them. Kushina turned to Ox and noticed he was still wary of her. "Ox that sword won't do you any good. You couldn't beat me if you tried." Ox grew a tick mark on his head. "And to answer your unasked question, I wouldn't hurt Naru-chan because he's my son."

Ox processed what he heard and dropped the sword. "K-kushina?"

Kushina giggled and took off her hood. "The one and only."

"But how?"

"Did you forget who my husband was?" Ox thought for a moment and chuckled a bit. Of course Minato. "Anyway, it's my sochi birthday and he wants to be hokage. So I wanted to buy my son his first sword." Naruto looked at Kushina and started to jump up and down in excitement. Ox chuckled at the little blonde.

"Heh heh, he looks eager but it'll take a while to forge so why don't we catch up. I throw in something for his birthday as a gift." Ox then turns to Naruto and smiles. "Naruto, why don't you go to the back? Tenten is back there, so why don't you sneak up on her."

Naruto looked up at his mom for permission. "Sure go ahead sochi." Naruto ran through the back door and disappeared into the house. Kushina turned to Ox as he led her to the forging room. "Who's Tenten?"

"Oh I guess you wouldn't know, she's my daughter." Ox answered. Kushina had stars in her eyes.

"Wow, you have a daughter, that's nice. So are you married?"

Ox chuckled and shook his head. "Nah, of course not, Tenten is an orphan just like Naruto was before you woke up. Her and Naruto met there before she was adopted. She told me how the orphanage treated him, it's a shame how fear controls people."

"I agree but it's all in the past, I'm proud of my Naru-chan for being so strong. If it was me, I probably hated the village."

"I wouldn't blame you, now enough of the talk. What kind of sword are you trying to make?" Kushina pulled out two scrolls, one red and one yellow, opened it, releasing some metal from a scroll. Ox eyes widen.

"Is this chakra metal? How did you get this?"

"The one in the yellow scroll is normal chakra metal, while the other is uzu chakra metal made by my clan's blood. It can only be held by an Uzumaki. Just like samehada, it can absorb chakra but has a limit. Not only that but when the sword cuts you, it can half the level of someone's chakra but it's not permanent. I want you to make Naru-chan a ninjato and a katana with the uzu metal. If you do I'll give some of the chakra metal. What do you say?"

Ox put his hand on his chin and smiled. "I'll make the swords for free, since it's the kids birthday and I'll buy the metal but I need a favor if that's ok?" Kushina nodded for him to continue. "You see, Tenten looks up to the slug princess and wants to become a weapon mistress,seeing that you are a S-rank kenjutsu master, I was wondering if you could teach her the basics when she's not in the academy." Kushina was surprised by the request but she didn't really see it as a problem.

"Sure, but I can't teach her my family's style but might be able to help form her own, dattebane. But there is a concern, I was going to take naru-chan to Uzu to get the maximum training in 3 days." Kushina closed her eyes for a moment and smiled. "I got an idea, I'll ask Yu-chan to come along and help Yu-chan time to help with your daughter's training . But what is she in the academy now?

"No she starts in 2 years and if I allow, but protect her." Kushina nods giving her word."Then it's fine, if you let me buy the metal, I was going to forge a sword for her."

"Then it's a deal, plus I could use the money until I access my account." Kushina finished up handing him the metal. "Will be leaving in two days and I'll send her back with Yu-chan

Ox nodded in approval. "Tenten-hime, Naruto! Can you come here?"Naruto came running in with a brown hair bun girl chasing him. She leapt towards Naruto pushing him to the ground, both laughing.

"Got you, your it." Tenten said, still on top of Naruto back. She looked and noticed her dad with a redhead woman. She got off from on top of the blonde and tilted her head. "Tou-chan who is this?"

Before Ox can answer, Naruto ran towards Kushina and grabbed her hand. "Ten-chan this is my kaa-chan." Kushina giggled a bit and approached the little girl, then kneeled down in front of her. "I'm Kushina Uzumaki. Nice to meet you Tenten-chan, and thank you for being friends with my sochi."

"You're welcome, I like Naru-kun." Tenten replied.

Ox giggled at his daughter, he always adored her, especially her bluntness. "Tenten-hime, remember the super strong woman who knew how to use a sword?"

Tenten nodded her head fast in excitement. "You mean the red-death, on how she beat 1000 people with just her blade. She is awesome, I wish I could meet her." Tenten said, making Kushina blush.

"Yeah, I want to meet her too." Naruto added. Ox quook his eyebrow and looked at the blushing Kushina. "You didn't tell him?" she shook her head sideways and chuckled. She took a deep breath and turn to the kids.

"Kids," the two turned to Kushina, giving her their full attention. "I'm the red-death." Tenten eyes widened as Naruto's jaw dropped. They then tackled Kushina to the ground.

"You are amazing, I get to meet you!" Tenten exclaimed.

"The red-death is my kaa-chan, I have the coolest mom ever!" Naruto practically yelled.

"Well hime, how would you like to go on a training trip with her?" Tenten's head turned so fast, it practically snapped.

"Really? Ox smiled at the girl's excitement. And nod.

"Yeah, you'll leave in three days, so go start packing." Tenten gave Naruto a quick hug and ran back inside her house.

3 days later

Kushinawas standing at the gates with naruto in her arms. The boy was excited and nervous at the same time. He was happy to explore the village but he was still aware of the danger, but thanks to his beloved kaa-chan claiming he would protect him, he calmed down. Kushina was excited to train her son, she was going to put in extra effort for Minato sake. Her main goal was to teach Naruto fuinjutsu to master Minato's prize jutsu, she was even keen on learning it herself 'the red flash! Kinda cool' she turned her head towards Naruto 'the orange flash!' she couldn't help but giggled at the idea, a fresh genin learning the hiraishin. She was sad at the thought of not returning for a while, even though tenten is returning in two years, her and Naruto wasn't planning on returning for 7 years, around the time he becomes a genin.

She and Naruto weren't registered shinobi since she was considered KIA and Naruto was a civilian, it was hard to convince Sarutobi to allow this. So she used the guilt trick on him for how the villagers treated him. She got permission for Yugio(12 years old0 to come, but she would be coming as a special jounin since she is still pretty new to anbu. "Kushina-sensei." Kushina was snapped out of her thoughts when Yugao appeared in front of her with Tenten.

Naruto was blushing at the girl and trapped in a daze. Without knowing he said the first thing that came to his mind. "Pretty." Yugao looked at Naruto and blushed with a little giggle.

"Why thank you, Naruto-kun." Yugao replied. Naruto tilted his head in confusion.

"How do you know me?" Yugao widened her eyes and smiled.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I'm neko-chan." Yugao answered. Naruto's eyes widened and looked down in embarrassment.

"Sorry I didn't recognize you." Naruto said.

"It's fine, plus I'm glad you think I'm pretty." Naruto turned his head and blushed. Kushina was giggling and looked at Tenten. "Tenten sweetie, you might have to ride on Yu-chan back ro get there faster, are you ok with that?"

"Mmhmm, ok Shina-san." Kushina smiled at the politeness of the girl.

"Alright I guess it's time to go, sochi, Tenten, hold on tight. Yu-chan, try to keep up." the three nodded and left through the forest proceeding towards their destination. "When we arrive, I have to open the gate. Uzumaki's was very protective over family and clan secrets. There will be some areas only my sochi and I can enter. Be careful of touching certain items with seals. Got it?" Everyone nod as they continued.

2 weeks later.

The group arrived at Uzu standing in front of the destroyed gate. Kushina was looking at everyone's reaction, Tenten and Yugao looked amazed but Naruto looked like he was in a trance. "Sochi?" Naruto snapped out of his trance and looked at his mom. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah kaa-chan, it just feels familiar to me."

Kushina scooped him up in her arms. "I understand, after all this is where your clan came from before it was destroyed. But we hid most of our valuables behind seals just in case there were survivors. Tenten and yu-chan, don't touch anything in the library when we arrive plus you wouldn't be able to understand it. The Uzumaki wrote B-rank and higher jutsus and seals with blood infuse chakra that way no one could understand but us." Yugao nodded and followed Kushina in the destroyed village.

Kushina walked to the center of the village where a seal was in the center of the ground. She touched it and poured some chakra in the seal. She was getting tired as she began to suffer from chakra exhaustion. "Come on Kuruma, help me out."

"I thought I was an evil monster fox?"

"I'm sorry, jeez. Can you help out." Kuruma started to pour chakra in Kushina's coils and the village began to glow and everything started to be repaired as itself. After about 20 more minutes the village was repaired.

"What happened sensei?" Yugao asked.

"It's a restoration seal, that way if the village was destroyed, we could just pour chakra in and it's good as new. There is plenty of food here, there are also some training weapons, we even have a training room for people not in the clan. Tenten, you want me to become a weapon specialist?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Well Yu-chan ND is going to train with you a bit, but first i'm going to build up your stamina and strength by putting on a weight seal. Then Yu-chan and I will help with your kenjutsu training. While you do that, I'll train my sochi in fuinjutsu, kenjutsu, taijutsu and a few ninjutsu. We will also unlock you guys chakra. Tenten-chan, I know you want to be a weapon master but you need much more."

'What do you mean."

"There are some enemies you can't defeat with weapons alone. So it would be better to learn some ninjutsu or taijutsu, dattebane." Tenten nodded. "I'll let you know right now, it won't be easy but it will be worth it."

Hey I decided to have Naruto learn the hiraishin early because I thought as a seal master training for seven years with Kushina there would be no excuse. People underestimate Naruto and no it won't make sense. He won't have it master in battle yet. Also I wanted to make him a flash swordsman. I also wanted to have Kushina learn because she has the chakra for it and she is a seal master. Remember in the anime, he learned A-rank jutsu in a week so seven years with notes of a technique and shadow clones he should learn. His potential will be like Shisui or Itachi. He won't be invincible but he will be ahead of the academy. Complain, I don't care.
