Chapter 2- Nagisa's home
Nagisa and Karma live in a small house with Nagisa's mother and step farther Takaoka. They also live with Nagisa's cousin Kaede and Karma's stepsister Nakamura. Ever since Karma and Nakamura both got down to class E, they stayed with Nagisa and his family since their parents doesn't want them anymore and left the country.
As they pulled up to the small house, they parked Karma's moped and Hermes in the garage and went up to Nagisa and Karma's shared room. Nagisa's side of the room has a sonic ninja poster and a small bookshelf full of sonic ninja manga and other comic books, Karma's side has a horror movie poster and has his side of the bookcase full of the same manga and books as Nagisa. They also share a desk that is piled high with textbooks and schoolbooks and homework that is undone.
Karma placed Nagisa on his blue bed and ran down the hall to Kaede and Nakamora's room to get a dress for Kino.
Kaede and Nakamura's room is the complete opposite to each other Keade side has flowers painted on the wall and Nakamura's has a boy band poster on her wall and a pile of books on her bed.
"Nakamora, do you have a spare dress I could borrow" asked Karma.
"why do you ask, are you planning to dress Nagisa up again" asked Nakamura as she took a dress out.
"No, I found a girl who just arrived here and is going to stay with us till she's leaving, but she's wearing boy clothes and you know what Mrs Shiota is like" answered Karma.
"She's staying with us tonight; I don't trust you boys with her," shouted Nakamura.
"oh really, well I don't trust Mrs psycho of a mother" answered Karma as he went back to his room.
Back in Nagisa and Karma's room Kino wrapped a bandage around Nagisa's arm and cleaned his wound and sat on his desk chair waiting for Karma to come back.
As Karma came through the door, he notices Nagisa sleeping under the coverers and the torn-up sleeve was changed to a bandage and there was a wet washcloth in a bowl of cold water on his table.
"Here I got you this, Mrs Shiota doesn't like girls wearing trousers unless they are on missions so here, the bathroom is just in there" said Karma as he gave her the dress.
The dress is short sleeved light pink dress with white flowers on and Kino chose to wear some old boots that she had when she first started travelling.
Inside Nagisa's and Karma's room Nagisa finally slowly opens his eyes.
"Hey there, sleeping beauty" said Karma as he took the cloth off his head.
"What happened, wait what's the time" asked Nagisa as he jumped off the bed but resulted in collapsing back down on his bed.
"you got bullied again, but a traveller was lucky enough to find you and saved you, but accidently shot you, she's staying here for a couple of days, and it's just over 4" answered Karma.
"Oh crap, mom going to kill me, I haven't started dinner and she's due home soon so is Takaoka" shouted Nagisa.
As Nagisa went out of the room and ran down the stars he bumped into Kino who was walking back into the room.
"oh sorry, thanks for saving me, what's your name again, I guess Karma already told you mine" said Nagisa.
"My name is Kino, and do you want any help, you were just shot, which I'm sorry that I shot you" answered Kino.
They went down the stairs to help with dinner but as they got down the front door opened revelling Nagisa's mother Hiromi Shiota and her husband Takaoka, who are both mad that Nagisa hasn't even started dinner and that they let a stranger into the house again.
"Nagisa, why haven't you done dinner, we worked hard for you to stay here if I had the choice, I would have let you die in this hell hole after the mistake you did on that mission" asked Hiromi as her face started to grow red.
"sorry mother, but I was chased by bullies again and I got shot, so I was late getting home, and I said I'm sorry for making you move from D class district because of my mistake" answered Nagisa as he showed Kino where the rice was so she could cook it.
"Don't sorry mother me, young man, why did you let this traveller stay here, anyway why are you here" asked Hiromi.
"I'm Kino and I came to find the son of the blue serpent and I was told he lives in this district" answered Kino.
"Well look any closer and he would bite you in the nose, because that mistake next to you is his only son" said Takaoka as he went into the fridge and grabbed himself a bear.
"wait you're his son," said Kino.
"I'll tell you when were alone" answered Nagisa.
(time skip after dinner)
Inside the garage Nagisa and Kino are both standing by Hermes, while Kino is fixing any damages that were caused by the days shuffle.
"so, what happened, how did you end up here, in the slums" asked Kino.
"Me, Karma, Kaede and Nakamura went on a mission to kill a woman who lived in an old wooden cabin out in the woods, she used to be a traveller and mother said that she was the one who killed dad, when we got into position we were ambushed by her and this girl who was her student, as we got home the higher ups heard of our failure and booted us to E class and mum and Takaoka went down with us as she mouthed off a bit" answered Nagisa.
"wait, you were the troop who tried to kill my master, and I know this she didn't kill your dad, she sent me to find him so I could tell him that she was never meant to betray him, it was her companions' fault" answered Kino.
They went upstairs and went towards Nagisa's and Karma's room when Nakamora and Kaede went up towards them.
"Kino, you can stay in our room tonight as Karma likes to pull pranks and also it would be better if Miss Shiota doesn't find out that you're sleeping with the boys" said Kaede.
"yeah ok, show me the way" answered Kino.
They went into the girl's room and went to sleep for the next day ready for another day of hell.
