"Scooby! Remember be cant eat these there for the picnic that Daphne planned" shaggy says while carrying two baskets full of food " come on guys you don't want to be late now, it already took a while to get the food" Fred honks the horn. Once they had everything in the car they began driving to the park while playing music on the radio.
"This is going to be so much fun. I haven't had a picnic in such a long time " said Daphne, and Velma chose a place to sit and lay down a blanket on a patch of grass "there here!" The mystery machine rolls in the parking lot of the park and they come over to the girls " I cant wait to eat I'm starving, wait, where's all the food?" Velma says, Everyone looks over to shaggy and Scooby and see their guilty expressions "guys-" Fred starts to say but is then cut of by his phone ringing "uh you should probably answer that" says shaggy in relief that he wont have to hear his friend get upset.
"Hello….oh...no problem were on our way"
"Fred who was that?" Velma asks
"Some camp owner there's a new mystery, at his summer camp"
" well that'll be a lot more interesting than this picnic " Daphne says playfully glaring at Shaggy and Scooby.
The gang gathered all their stuff and drove over to summer camp. Once they entered the gates of the camp and were welcomed by a few camp leaders. They were then led over to a medium sized cabin that was painted a bright red. As if it was just painted.
"Hello, you must be the camp counselor, Mr. Garry right?" Said Fred
"Yep, that's me, I own this camp" Garry says as he rolled his wheel chair from behind his desk "I've owned this place for over a decade, and nothing like what happened recently has ever happened before, maybe deer's, squirrels even bears have been seen around here but nothing like what I saw then" Garry then goes out side of the cabin past the gang "come with me" the gang follows Garry to the cafeteria area. As they entered the large area with a glass ceiling that had been shattered.
"I think I see what happened here, something, broke the glass" shaggy said as if it wasn't obvious
"Yes it was a large beast in fact, a living nightmare" said Garry.
"Do you mind telling use what happened?" Velma asks
" It seemed like a pretty normal day for me…"
-The day of the attack-
"Good morning Garry" said his caretaker
"Morning are you ready, today we're going to do a scavenger hunt as the first activity this year" Garry said excitedly.
Garry is taken to his other cabin that is used as an office, and continues scheduling the next week. Garry's work was then interrupted by a loud knock on the door almost scaring him,
"Yes! Come in"
The door opened a Garry was not pleased to see his son but smiled anyway,
"There's my boy, you here to hang out with your dad?"
"Sure, I just want to talk to about the camp again-"
"Fabian-"
"Dad no, at least here me out you got to change things around here you have been running this place the same since you started it, it needs to be improved."
"I see nothing wrong with how my camp is run, why do you feel the need to change it"
"dad listen let's be honest, your not getting any younger"
"Well while I'm here it stays this way"
"But what about security issues or the old buildings, it's falling apart, you just don't know what your doing"
"Fabian, you are not the one to tell me how to do my job" Garry says this as he leaves the cabin while his son stays back.
-Present-
"After that little argument I when to meet the kids in the cafeteria and was greeted with a hundred terrified faces" Garry sighed
Velma took a second to think " what was all that about with you son?"
" oh, well my son has been wanting to own the camp for quite some time now, but he just doesn't know how to run a camp the right way, the kids are stubborn" Garry huffed (how ironic).
